Abstract

This research aims to determine the school environment. The Introduction to the School Field (PLP) was carried out on January 5 to February 13 at PPS Ula Imam Syafi'i Batam with 3 members including, Ahmad Syabili, Usamah Saiful Haq, Riyadhi Salim. In implementing school field experience (PLP) there is several work carried out to add experience and intellectual knowledge for us to learn as students. During the Introduction to Schooling Field (PLP), the activities carried out include accompanying and observing students during the learning process, and participating in various activities held at school.

Abstract

The School-Based Field Experience Programme serves as an essential bridge that gradually transforms students’ theoretical understanding into professional competence in the field. This article aims to describe the implementation of the PLP programme and to evaluate the pedagogical challenges faced by students when teaching various subjects at the Salafiyah Wustha Islamic Boarding School (PPSW) An-Nashar. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using participatory observation, in which four students from the Arabic Language Education programme were assigned to teach different subjects, namely Sharaf, Hiwar, Natural Sciences (IPA), and Bahasa Indonesia. The results indicate that, in general, the programme ran smoothly through the adaptation of the teaching system determined by the partner school, as well as some additions from the students. However, the students faced specific dynamics and challenges among the pupils, including: gaps in understanding of Sharaf, a lack of confidence in Hiwar, difficulties in maintaining focus on Natural Sciences material, and literacy gaps in Bahasa Indonesia. It was concluded that these challenges served as valuable tools for reflection for the students to improve the quality of classroom management and adopt more varied pedagogical approaches in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an interactive website based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in enhancing the digital literacy skills of primary school pupils. Aligned with recent educational transformation policies that emphasize pupils as active subjects, this research serves as a follow-up study to strengthen empirical evidence regarding digital media utilization in basic education. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 27 pupils from class VB at UPT SD Negeri Manjung. Data were collected through written tests developed based on digital literacy indicators and analyzed using normality tests and paired sample t-tests via SPSS 25 software. The improvement effectiveness was measured using the normalized N-Gain analysis. The results indicate that: (1) there is a significant effect of using the PBL-based website on pupils' digital literacy skills, evidenced by a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05; (2) the average N-Gain score achieved was 0.56, which falls into the "medium" category with a "moderately effective" criterion. Overall, this study concludes that the use of PBL based interactive website media developed by the researcher at www.sipintaipa-sd.com can improve the digital literacy skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dekadensi moral Generasi Z dalam kehidupan sosial serta merefleksikan falsafah Jawa “Ojo Rumongso Iso Nanging Iso Rumongso” sebagai dasar penguatan etika sosial dan konseling multibudaya. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara dan studi literatur, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Generasi Z memahami nilai tersebut secara kognitif, terdapat kesenjangan dalam penerapannya. Nilai iso rumongso cenderung diterapkan secara situasional dan dipengaruhi oleh dinamika media sosial yang mendorong validasi eksternal. Faktor seperti spiritualitas, pengalaman hidup, regulasi diri, dan keberanian mengakui kesalahan berperan penting dalam internalisasi nilai tersebut. Falsafah ini dinilai relevan sebagai pedoman etis dan pendekatan konseling untuk membangun empati, kesadaran diri, dan interaksi sosial yang lebih bijak di era digital.

Abstract

This study examines the use of Sharing and Relationship functions on social media by students in the Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) program to motivate learning from a digital citizenship perspective. The main issue addressed in this study stems from the distraction caused by entertainment content, which hinders students’ ability to focus on their studies amid their high levels of academic activity on social media. The objective of this study is to analyze the behavior, role, and impact of Sharing and Relationships on students’ learning motivation. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that: (1) Sharing and Relationship-building behaviors for academic purposes have been effective through the use of WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, and Tiktok; (2) these functions play a crucial role in motivating learning by fulfilling the needs for relatedness, a sense of security, and social learning; (3) positive impacts are evident in digital citizenship maturity, which involves the application of ethics, literacy, and responsibility, although the challenge of information distraction remains. In conclusion, students have actively utilized Sharing and Relationship functions to support academic performance and learning motivation; however, they still require strengthened self-regulation regarding digital distractions. It is recommended that students continue to enhance their digital literacy to maintain the effectiveness of responsible learning on social media.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of mutual respect as a component in character building for students in dealing with differences at school. However, mutual respect among students still varies, requiring teachers to develop effective methods through Pancasila Education. The purpose of this study is to describe the methods used by teachers, identify the values ​​of mutual respect they instill, and evaluate students' understanding after participating in the learning process at SMP Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. This study employed qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects were Pancasila Education teachers and students of SMP Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Data analysis was conducted through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested using source and technique triangulation. The research results show that teachers' strategies for developing tolerance include integrating tolerance values ​​into learning, providing role models, and using active methods such as discussions and group work. The values ​​developed include appreciating differences, mutual respect, cooperation, and non-discrimination. Students' understanding of tolerance increased despite individual differences. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers continue to develop innovative learning strategies and strengthen the inculcation of tolerance values ​​in the school environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pentingnya penanganan sampah plastik di SMP Negeri 26 Banjarmasin sebagai upaya dalam membentuk karakter kewarganegaraan ekologis melalui kebijakan sekolah yang mendorong gaya hidup berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, serta wawancara mendalam dengan ketua Adiwiyata, pengelola lingkungan, dan siswa. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program tersebut dijalankan dengan menggabungkan materi tentang bahaya plastik ke dalam RPP mata pelajaran IPS dan BK, serta melakukan pengawasan secara terus-menerus seperti memeriksa tumbler secara rutin dan melarang penggunaan plastik di kantin. Akibatnya, kesadaran lingkungan para siswa mulai berkembang, terlihat dari munculnya usaha-usaha mereka dalam menjaga kebersihan sekolah, meskipun tingkat kemandirian masing-masing siswa masih berbeda-beda. Namun, penelitian ini mengungkap beberapa tantangan utama, yaitu faktor internal siswa yang sering lupa membawa wadah sendiri, perbedaan karakter siswa yang beragam, serta kurangnya keselarasan dalam pembiasaan di lingkungan rumah yang menghambat konsistensi perilaku siswa saat berada di sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan sekolah yang terorganisasi secara baik adalah faktor utama dalam mengubah cara siswa mempergunakan sumber daya menuju kehidupan yang lebih ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media ular tangga terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SDN 02 Amban, sekaligus menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelompok siswa yang menggunakan media tersebut dan kelompok yang tidak menggunakannya. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental. Model eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design dengan pemberian pretest dan posttest. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat penguasaan siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data mencakup analisis deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan paired sample t-test untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh penggunaan media ular tangga terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran ular tangga memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN 02 Amban. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui hasil uji hipotesis yang menunjukkan nilai t hitung = 195,500 lebih besar dibandingkan t tabel = 1,714, serta nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Dengan demikian, H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran ular tangga terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of social learning theory in teaching plane geometry at the elementary school level to address students’ limited conceptual understanding. Many students tend to recognize shapes visually without understanding their defining characteristics, often identifying all quadrilaterals simply as “squares.” This research employed a case study design conducted over three instructional sessions focusing on teacher modeling, imitation, and group interaction. Data were collected through observations, formative assessments, and in-depth interviews. The findings reveal that the application of social learning theory through modeling, observation, imitation, and reinforcement contributes to the gradual development of students’ conceptual understanding. Students were able to identify, classify, and explain the characteristics of plane figures. Social interaction through group discussions and games supported meaning negotiation and collaborative knowledge construction, although its effectiveness depended on group dynamics. While most students demonstrated improved understanding and could express concepts in their own words, variations remained in conceptual mastery and mathematical communication. This study highlights the importance of integrating cognitive and social processes, as well as fostering inclusive interactions, to optimize students’ understanding of geometry.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca merupakan keterampilan dasar yang sangat penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan pembelajaran siswa di sekolah dasar. Namun, minat dan kemampuan membaca di kalangan siswa masih tergolong rendah karena berbagai faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri mereka maupun dari lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan dalam pembelajaran membaca dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan strategi pembelajaran berfokus pada literasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur terhadap sepuluh artikel ilmiah yang relevan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, sementara analisis data menerapkan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media pembelajaran inovatif, baik berbasis visual maupun berbasis teknologi seperti e-modul interaktif dan augmented reality, dapat meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan pemahaman siswa dalam membaca. Disamping itu, penerapan strategi pembelajaran berbasis literasi yang melibatkan keaktifan siswa, seperti model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC), juga terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Lingkungan literasi yang mendukung, seperti penyediaan sudut baca dan bahan bacaan yang menarik, turut berperan dalam menumbuhkan minat baca siswa.
