Abstract

This study aims to describe the conditions of work culture in educational institutions in supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, analyze the factors that influence the optimization of work culture, and develop effective strategies to improve the quality of learning through optimizing work culture in the Independent Curriculum era. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various books, journals, and other academic sources that are relevant to this topic. The results of the study indicate that a collaborative, flexible, and professional teacher development-oriented work culture is very important to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. Several factors that influence the optimization of work culture in educational institutions include strong leadership, relevant teacher training, and collaboration between all education stakeholders. In addition, to improve shared learning, the strategies that need to be implemented are strengthening a culture of collaboration, developing teacher competencies, and improving leadership that supports changes in learning. By implementing this strategy, it is hoped that a work culture can be created that supports the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and improves the quality of learning in educational institutions.

Abstract

Thematic learning is an integrated learning method that combines various disciplines into one learning theme to provide students with a beneficial learning experience. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of thematic learning at MIS Muhammadiyah 3 Al-Furqan Banjarmasin. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires with teachers using qualitative methods with a case study approach. The research results show that teachers face problems in terms of limited time, resources, and ability to use technology. However, thematic learning is considered effective for improving students understanding and critical thinking skills. It is highly recommended to provide ongoing training to educators and provide more complete resources to help implement thematic learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of spiritual leadership in the development of humanist values ​​at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Ulum Bengkak. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research design that aims to describe and analyze the implementation of spiritual leadership in the development of humanist values ​​at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Ulum Bengkak. The data for this study were obtained through interview, observation, and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that the role of the madrasah principal as a role model for teachers and students, character development programs such as reading Istighosah and Asmaul Husna together, learning the Qur'an using the Ummi method, learning the book Al-Miftah Lil Ulum Sidogiri, congregational prayer activities, and religious activities involving all members of the madrasah that are in line with spiritual values ​​and humanist values.

Abstract

Mathematics learning plays an important role in developing students' critical, logical and systematic thinking abilities. However, the abstract nature of mathematics often causes misconceptions, especially regarding the concept of exponent numbers. This research aims to identify misconceptions of fifth grade elementary school students in understanding numbers with powers and the factors that cause them. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, this research involves 30 students as participants, with a focus on in-depth analysis of three students. Data was obtained through observation, tests and semi-structured interviews. The research results show that students often misunderstand the basic concept of exponent numbers, such as considering exponents as ordinary additions or misunderstanding powers of zero and powers of one. Factors causing misconceptions include limited student understanding, less contextual teaching methods, and cultural and linguistic influences. To overcome this misconception, a more effective teaching approach is needed, such as the use of concrete visualizations (for example, squares for cubes and cubes for cubes) and the application of interactive methods that are relevant to everyday life. This research provides recommendations for teachers to improve learning strategies and encourages further research to develop innovative methods in teaching exponent numbers. In this way, students are expected to be able to understand mathematical concepts in depth and correctly, which will have an impact on improving their learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan komponen vital dalam pembangunan suatu bangsa dan berperan strategis dalam mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. . Untuk mewujudkan Pendidikan yang berkualitas diperlukan guru yang kompeten. Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin di sekolah dituntut untuk mampu memberdayakan segala sumberdaya yang dimiliki untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru agar berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran sehingga tujuan Pendidikan dapat tercapai secara optimal.SD Negeri 1 Kalipang yang merupakan penyelenggara Pendidikan pada rapor Pendidikan 2023 mendapatkan predikat kurang pada kemampuan numersi dan kualitas pembelajaran.Untuk itu Peneliti melakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui aktivasi komunitas belajar. Metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan teknik studi dokumen, sasaran dari penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Peran kepemimpinan Kepala sekolah yang efektif di SD Negeri 1 kalipang sangat penting dalam menggerakkan segala sumber daya yang dimiliki sekolah dalam membentuk budaya belajar dan kolaboratif disekolah melaui aktivasi komunitas belajar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.Peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari beberapa peserta didik yang mendapat juara baik akademik maupun non akademik. Selain itu adanya peningkatan nilai kemampuan numerasi peserta didik sebanyak 35% dan kualitas pembelajaran sebanyak 11,64% pada Rapor Pendidikan 2024

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of students' low understanding of concepts in social studies subjects. The challenges of the digital era underlie updates in the technical teaching of concepts that utilize technology. The need for product development innovation to bridge the problem of low understanding of concepts and the demands of the digital era encourages development research to produce products through concept-based learning methods through digital games. This research aims to create a product in the form of a concept-based learning method designed through digital games in social studies subjects suitable for use. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation & Evaluation) model. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This research involves expert judgment for learning method experts and learning design. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive. The research results show that the concept-based learning method through digital games is declared feasibility. Based on validation, learning method experts obtained a percentage of 82.5%, while learning design experts obtained 80%. The results of the limited trial obtained a percentage of 92% stating that the product was worthy of being tested at the next level and the results obtained were 93% of respondents stating that the product was considered feasible. Based on this, it can be concluded that the concept-based learning method through digital games in this research is declared to meet the feasibility. The research results show the novelty of product development in a syntax designed to be oriented towards concept development in digital game design with schemes of team sharing. The researcher recommends that future researchers develop more diverse concept learning in digital games.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and improve self-efficacy in children with multiple physical and mental disabilities at SLB Panca Bakti Wonoasri. The background of the problem raised is the challenges faced by children with special needs in the learning process, especially in terms of participation and understanding of the material. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the use of basic number flash card media significantly improves the cognitive abilities and self-confidence of children with physical disabilities  and mental disabilities in understanding basic number concepts.

Abstract

Krisis ekologi global yang meliputi perubahan iklim, penurunan keanekaragaman hayati, dan pencemaran lingkungan telah menjadi ancaman serius bagi keberlanjutan kehidupan di bumi. Dalam konteks ini, pendidikan memiliki peran strategis untuk membentuk generasi yang bertanggung jawab secara ekologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi urgensi pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk keshalehan ekologis santri melalui pendekatan eco-pesantren. Eco- pesantren merupakan inovasi pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman dan praktik keberlanjutan lingkungan, seperti penghijauan, pengelolaan sampah, dan kompetisi kebersihan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi eco-pesantren berhasil menciptakan perilaku santri yang peduli lingkungan. Nilai-nilai kebersihan, tanggung jawab, dan kedisiplinan yang diajarkan melalui pendekatan holistik berbasis Islam terbukti efektif dalam membangun budaya keberlanjutan di lingkungan pesantren. Santri yang terlibat aktif dalam program ini menunjukkan perubahan signifikan dalam perilaku mereka, baik di lingkungan pesantren maupun di masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa eco-pesantren memiliki potensi besar sebagai model pendidikan Islam yang berkelanjutan. Untuk meningkatkan dampaknya, diperlukan penguatan kolaborasi dengan instansi lingkungan, perluasan kurikulum berbasis ekologi, dan pengembangan sarana pendukung. Dengan pendekatan ini, pesantren dapat menjadi pusat pembentukan generasi muda yang tidak hanya berakhlak mulia tetapi juga bertanggung jawab terhadap kelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

In the 21st century learning era, teachers no longer only act as informationconveyors, but also as facilitators who encourage and facilitate students to thinkcritically, creatively, communicate and collaborate. Key characteristics of 21stcentury teachers include adaptive ability to technology, effective communicationskills, and a deep understanding of competency-based learning principles. Thisstudy aims to identify the characteristics and role of teachers as facilitators insupporting learning that is relevant to the needs of the times. This research methoduses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques throughliterature studies. The results show that 21st century teachers must have digitalliteracy competencies, the ability to build an inclusive learning environment, andgood interpersonal communication skills. In addition, teachers must be able toencourage students to learn independently and adapt to various learning styles. Theteacher's role as a facilitator includes helping students access learning resources,providing personalized guidance, and motivating them to develop 21st century skillssuch as critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. Keywords: 21st century teacher; facilitator; active learning; digital literacy; 21stcentury skills Dalam era pembelajaran abad ke-21, guru tidak lagi hanya berperan sebagaipenyampai informasi, tetapi juga sebagai fasilitator yang mendorong danmemfasilitasi siswa untuk berpikir kritis, kreatif, komunikasi dan kolaboratif.Karakteristik utama guru abad ke-21 mencakup kemampuan adaptif terhadapteknologi, keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif, serta pemahaman mendalamterhadap prinsip pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengidentifikasi karakteristik dan peran guru sebagai fasilitator dalam mendukungpembelajaran yang relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman. Metode penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan datamelalui studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru abad ke-21 harusmemiliki kompetensi literasi digital, kemampuan membangun lingkungan belajaryang inklusif, serta keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal yang baik. Selain itu, guru harus mampu mendorong siswa untuk belajar mandiri dan beradaptasi denganberbagai gaya belajar. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator mencakup membantu siswamengakses sumber belajar, memberikan bimbingan personal, dan memotivasimereka untuk mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21 seperti berpikir kritis,kolaborasi, dan kreativitas. Abstract

This research aims to develop a podcast-based guide to dispute irrational belief techniques to improve career planning for final year students at the Ibnu Katsir 1 Jember Islamic Boarding School. Mahasantri often face irrational beliefs that hinder career decision making. This technique aims to identify and challenge these beliefs so that students develop a more rational mindset. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The research subjects were final year students who experienced career confusion. Data collection was carried out through interviews, questionnaires and observations, with qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results show that the podcast-based guide is effective in helping student students understand and correct their irrational beliefs. The podcast medium has proven to be relevant, flexible and attractive to the younger generation, thereby increasing their understanding of rational career planning. It is hoped that this guide will be a solution in preparing students to make better career decisions in the future.
