Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much factors influence students' interest in participating in extracurricular volleyball at SDN Roja 1, Rukun Lima Village, South Ende District, Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This study is a descriptive study using a survey method. The subjects of the study were students who participated in extracurricular volleyball at SDN Roja 1 as many as 39 children. The instrument used was a questionnaire, with a reliability coefficient of 0.953 and to analyze the data, quantitative descriptive statistics were used with percentages. The results of the study showed that students' interest in participating in volleyball extracurricular activities at SDN Roja 1, Rukun Lima Village, South Ende District, Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Most of them were in the low category of 56.40%, followed by the high category of 35.9%, then the very high category of 5.10%, and the very low category of 2.6%. So it can be concluded that students' interest in participating in volleyball extracurricular activities at SDN Roja 1 was mostly in the low category.

Abstract

This study discusses the problems experienced by third-grade elementary school students in writing sentences, particularly in the use of capital letters and punctuation marks. Writing skills are an essential part of mastering the Indonesian language, yet many students still make fundamental errors that hinder their ability to construct sentences correctly and according to language rules. The aim of this study is to identify the most common types of errors made by students and the factors that contribute to these errors. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, document analysis of students’ written work, and interviews with classroom teachers. The results show that most students struggle with using capital letters at the beginning of sentences, in writing names of people and places, and often misuse punctuation marks such as periods, commas, question marks, and exlamation marks. The main contributing factors include a lack of understanding of the Enhanced Spelling System (EYD), limited structured writing practice, and teaching methods that do not sufficiently emphasize mechanical aspects of writing. This study recommends the implementation of more contextual and interactive learning approaches to help students better understand and consistently apply correct usage of capital letters and punctuation in their writing. With a solid understanding of linguistic rules, students’ writing skills are expected to improve significantly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengembangkan instrumen penilaian menggunakan quizizz pada tema lingkungan sahabat kita subtema manusia dan lingkungan di kelas V SDN Cipambuan Kabupaten Bogor, serta mengetahui kelayakan instrumen penilaian menggunakan quizizz dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Penelitian ini diawali dengan pengumpulan informasi tentang kebutuhan dan permasalahan di sekolah dasar, merancang instrumen penilaian, melakukan validasi produk kepada para ahli, melakukan revisi produk, dan setelah itu melakukan uji coba instrumen penilaian kepada peserta didik. Hasil uji kelayakan instrumen penilaian menggunakan Quizizz menunjukkan bahwa produk ini sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil angket respon validator ahli evaluasi, ahli media, ahli bahasa, dan ahli materi yang memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 96,67%, begitu pula angket respon peserta didik yang memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 97,8%.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental process in the development of individuals and society. Through education, knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes are transferred from one generation to the next, enabling intellectual, social, and emotional development. The purpose of this study was to determine the problems related to materials that are considered difficult and how to solve these learning problems in science learning in elementary schools. This research method uses a mix-method research type where quantitative data is reinforced with qualitative data. This study involved two science teachers and 25 fourth-grade elementary school students. The instruments used included questionnaires, interview sheets, and observation sheets. Data were collected by going directly to the field and analyzed using descriptive analysis for quantitative data and analysis of interview results for qualitative data. The results showed that there were two materials that were considered difficult by fourth-grade elementary school students, namely the Human Organ System (40%) and Photosynthesis (36%). The solutions used for the Human Organ System material usually use learning video media and e-learning platforms as supporting media. Meanwhile, for the Photosynthesis material, the solution provided was the use of practical demonstration tools and a digital microscope. The conclusion of this study is that video learning media, e-learning platforms, practical demonstration tools, and digital microscopes can be alternative solutions in helping students understand material that is considered difficult.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IV. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses penerapan model pembelajaran Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE) Berbasis Gamifikasi dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas IV UPT SDN 190 Pinrang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 17 orang yaitu 1 orang guru kelas IV dan 16 orang siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus I hasil belajar proses pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi cukup (C) dan aktivitas belajar siswa berada pada kualifikasi cukup baik (C). Sedangkan pada siklus II hasil belajar proses pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi baik (B) dan aktivitas belajar berada pada kualifikasi baik (B). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE) berbasis Gamifikasi dapat meningkatkan proses belajar dan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas IV UPT SDN 190 Pinrang.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, emotional intelligence (EQ) has become one of the key factors in supporting student development, both in school environments and in their social lives. This study aims to identify the implementation of emotional intelligence value development through the cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) in sixth-grade students at MIN Kota Bima. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources consist of primary sources, including the quality development coordinator, homeroom teachers, and sixth-grade students at MIN Kota Bima, as well as secondary sources used as supporting materials. The findings indicate that the application of the STAD cooperative learning model has a positive impact on shaping students’ emotional intelligence. Teachers play an active role as facilitators by implementing appropriate and structured learning steps, enabling students to collaborate, understand their own emotions and those of others, and build strong social skills.

Abstract

Dalam pendidikan di abad ke-21, media pembelajaran digital tidak hanya berperan sebagai alat untuk membantu pengajaran, tetapi juga sebagai cara untuk mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam berpikir kritis, kreatif, bekerjasama dan berkomunikasi. Media digital juga menumbuhkan semangat belajar sepanjang hayat yang sangat penting untuk menghadapi tantangan global serta perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis dampak dari media pembelajaran digital pada motivasi belajar siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Melalui cara ini, informasi diperoleh dari berbagai jurnal dan referensi yang kemudian ditelaah dan dianalisis untuk memperkuat pembahasan penelitian. Hasil kajian peneliti menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran digital dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dikarenakan proses belajar terasa lebih menarik, interaktif, dan tidak monoton. Siswa lebih antusis dan aktif dalam belajar ketika pembelajaran berlangsung menggunakan media digital, seperti video interaktif atau aplikasi edukatif. E-book, multimedia interaktif, dan platform web gratis dapat membantu guru dgam melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar yang lebih menarik dan inovatif untuk siswa. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran digital berperan penting dalam meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa, diharapkan media pembelajaran digital terus dikembangkan sehingga lebih memudahkan siswa dalam belajar dan dapat menghadapi tantangan pendidikan era digital di masa yang mendatang.

Abstract

Recruitment and selection processes play a crucial role in determining the quality and performance of employees within organizations. This study investigates the impact of recruitment and selection on employee performance, particularly in relation to job placement in various organizations. A literature review methodology was employed to examine recent research on how effective recruitment and selection strategies influence organizational outcomes, employee satisfaction, and job performance. Findings from various studies suggest that competency-based recruitment and selection lead to higher employee performance and productivity. Additionally, transparent and fair selection processes improve employee engagement, motivation, and retention. The role of technology in recruitment and selection has also been highlighted as a key factor in enhancing efficiency and reducing biases in the selection process. However, despite the advantages of technological tools, human judgment remains critical in evaluating candidates’ fit with organizational culture and job requirements. This study concludes that recruitment and selection processes, when conducted effectively, significantly contribute to enhancing employee performance and organizational success.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kasus bullying di Indonesia yang berasal dari berbagai aspek baik itu verbal, dan non verbal seperti fisik, sosial, serta cyberbullying. Kasus bullying memberikan dampak yang cukup signifikan dalam aspek kehidupan, salah satunya pada aspek perkembangan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui bagaimana bentuk-bentuk Bullying di SD Negeri Kelapadua IV, 2) mengetahui bagaimana dampak Bullying pada perkembangan sosial siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri Kelapadua IV, 3) mengetahui bagaimana peran guru dalam mengatasi dampak Bullying pada perkembangan sosial siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri Kelapadua IV. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini: 1) Bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying yang terjadi di SD Negeri Kelapadua IV (1. bullying verbal yaitu mengejek, memanggil nama orang tua, menyebut kekurangan fisik, sikap, dan perilaku, menyuraki teman, dan lain-lain. 2. bullying non verbal (fisik) yaitu mencubit, mendorong, memukul, dan lain-lain), 2) Dampak bullying pada perkembangan sosial siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri Kelapadua IV yaitu korban menjadi pendiam, mengurangi komunikasi, takut berinteraksi dengan pelaku, merasa tersisihkan, dan menjadi pemurung. 3) Peran guru dalam mengatasi dampak bullying pada perkembangan sosial siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri Kelapadua IV yaitu dengan menasehati siswa, membuat kesepakatan di kelas, pemberian pujian pada korban, pemberian motivasi dan semangat, memindahkan tempat duduk, mengadakan kegiatan kerja kelompok, mengadakan kegiatan belajar sambil bermain, memberikan pengarahan, mengadakan diskusi antara korban dan pelaku.

Abstract

Excellent quality education is an important foundation in efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of a society. One of the elements that is very important in achieving this is the quality of educators and support staff in educational institutions. A study has been conducted to examine this aspect in depth, focusing on the situation at State Elementary School 001 Waru, Penajam Paser Utara Regency. The method used is a qualitative approach through literature analysis. Overall, the quality of educators and support staff at State Elementary School 001 Waru, Penajam Paser Utara Regency can be said to be satisfactory. However, there are still challenges that need to be overcome. Therefore, it is important for them to continue to participate in training and development programs organized by related parties. To face this challenge, close cooperation is needed between schools and related agencies, as well as a strong commitment from educators and support staff to continue learning and improving themselves. Such training and development will not only improve technical skills, but also their understanding of educational developments and community needs. With an awareness of the importance of improving the quality of education, State Elementary School 001 Waru, Penajam Paser Utara Regency can continue to advance in providing quality educational services for students. This not only benefits the individuals involved but also contributes to the development of a competitive society at the local and national levels. Therefore, concrete steps need to be taken to ensure that the quality of education at State Elementary School 001 Waru, Penajam Paser Utara Regency continues to improve in line with the times and global demands.
