Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

The digital era has a significant impact on social life, including in terms of religious tolerance. Students are now more easily exposed to information from various digital sources that do not necessarily support the values of tolerance. This phenomenon is a challenge for the world of education, especially in instilling an attitude of mutual respect amidst diversity. This study aims to determine the role of Catholic Religious Education as a means of forming an attitude of religious tolerance among students in the digital era at SD Inpres Weri. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects of the study consisted of Catholic Religious Education teachers, principals, and students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Catholic Religious Education plays an important role in instilling the values of love, forgiveness, respect for differences, an d forming an open and peaceful Christian character. Teachers also act as role models in guiding students to face diversity positively. This study confirms that Catholic Religious Education contributes to forming a tolerant attitude of students, especially amidst the challenges of the digital era.

This study was motivated by low student learning achievement, this is in line and can be seen from the phenomenon where most students show behavior when observed from the way students learn, there are still playful while studying such as chatting with friends and not taking notes of the material presented by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of the school environment on the learning achievement of PPKn class XI students. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey method with a causal associative nature. The population in this study were class XI students of SMAS Karya Pengalihan, Indragiri Hilir Regency. Determination of the sample using the Slovin formula with a random sampling technique with a level of 5% so that the number of samples was 99 respondents. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with 19 statements. Based on the statistical test, it was obtained that the Fcount value ≥ Ftable (78.648 ≥ 3.94) and a significant value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so that the School Environment (Variable X) has a significant effect on Learning Achievement (Variable Y). The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination test of the influence of the school environment (X) on learning achievement (Y) were 44.8%, while 55.2% was influenced by other variables that were not examined in this study.

This research aims to analyze the speaking difficulties of grade 5B students at SDN Galur 01 Jakarta. Speaking skill is an important part of English learning in Elementary School. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through classroom observation , and semi – structured interviews with the teacher and students. The results showed that speaking difficulties are influenced by internal factors such as psychological barriers and lack of habituation in using English, and external factors , namely an unsupportive environment.

This research is motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving ability of fourth-grade elementary school students, especially in fraction material. Many students have difficulty in understanding descriptive questions and in applying mathematical concepts in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on the mathematical problem-solving ability of fourth-grade elementary school students at SDN Karangtanjung. The research method used was quantitative with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 29 fourth-grade students. The research instrument was a descriptive test sheet of 10 questions, arranged based on the problem-solving ability indicators according to Polya, including understanding the problem, planning a solution, implementing the plan, and evaluating the results. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-Test. The results showed a significant increase in the posttest results compared to the pretest. This is evidenced by the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, which indicates that the application of the CPS model with the RME approach has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Thus, the CPS learning model combined with the RME approach is effective in improving conceptual understanding and mathematical problem-solving skills in fraction material.

The problem-based learning teaching model has an important role in developing critical thinking skills, especially at the elementary school level. This research was conducted at SDN 14 Sadia Bima City to answer the obstacles or challenges faced by teachers in the implementation of the PBL learning model. The application of the PBL model not only trains students in critical thinking but students can also be active in group learning so that they can train students to respect each other's differences in opinion and the learning process in the classroom can be more active or not monotonous because PBL involves all students must be able to actively learn in class. The purpose of this study is to find out the extent to which the PBL model is applied to significantly improve critical thinking skills. Data was collected through observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The results of the study show significant results in the application of the PBL learning model in developing critical thinking skills where students are more active in learning, can solve a problem contained in a material together, can issue ideas in a sequence and students can dare to express opinions in accordance with the abilities possessed by students. This success is supported by the support of teachers and integrity in the use of the PBL model in several subjects. This research recommends that the PBL model continue to be developed as an effective strategy in teaching because it has a positive impact not only on the academic aspect but also on the development of character and skills in the 21st century.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media e-komik terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila peserta didik kelas 5A di SD Inpres BTN IKIP I. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 27 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket motivasi belajar berdasarkan teori McClelland dan tes hasil belajar berbasis Taksonomi Bloom. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, paired sample t-test, dan korelasi Pearson dengan bantuan SPSS 30.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media e-komik secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan berdampak positif terhadap pencapaian hasil belajar mereka. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar meningkat dari 42,92 menjadi 81,85 dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,66 (kategori sedang-tinggi). Korelasi positif sangat kuat ditemukan antara motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar (r = 0,892). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media e-komik merupakan media pembelajaran digital yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di sekolah dasar.

This research is entitled “Development of Inquiry Learning-Based Animated Video Using Kahoot Application on the Material of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence at SMA Negeri 1 Talang Kelapa” The purpose of this study is to be able to develop inquiry learning-based animated videos that are valid and can increase the active participation of students. This research is a type of development research using the ADDIE model which consists of (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation), on the assessment of the validity of the animated video obtained through the validation results, namely the material expert of 4.53, the media expert of 3.8 and the linguist of 5.0 . Furthermore, at the stage of student learning outcomes using inquiry learning-based animated videos and kahoot has increased by 53% with an N-gain value of 0.83 and is in the high category. This shows that learning using animated videos using kahoot through the material of the proclamation of Indonesian independence is valid and can improve the ability of student learning outcomes.

Dropping out of primary education in Indonesia is a serious issue that impacts the quality of human resources and national development. Although the government has implemented a nine-year compulsory education program, data shows that thousands of children still do not complete basic education. The causes are diverse, including family economic conditions, limited access to education, cultural factors, and lack of support from the surrounding environment. This article aims to analyze the factors contributing to dropout rates in primary education in Indonesia by reviewing relevant news and academic journals. The method used is a literature study based on secondary data from official government reports, recent news articles, and scholarly publications. The analysis reveals that economic factors, such as poverty and the need for children to work, are the main causes. In addition, geographical factors such as remote locations, and socio-cultural issues like early marriage and lack of awareness about the importance of education, also contribute. Efforts to address the issue include alternative education programs, volunteer teaching initiatives, and counseling support by educators. However, challenges remain significant, especially in underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) areas. A holistic approach involving all stakeholders is needed to effectively address this problem.

This model. It used Classroom Action Research (CAR) as a way to solve problems related to learning issues in the classroom. The research was done in two parts, and each part had four steps: planning, doing, watching, and thinking. If a part didn't give the results they wanted, they would do it again with the same steps, using the Reciprocal Teaching method. They looked at the data by describing it using simple math methods. Before the parts started, students didn't speak very well. Only 30% (7 out of 25 students) met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) of 70. In Cycle I, there was a noticeable improvement. The average speaking score increased to 75.2, a 12.7-point gain from the pre-cycle, and 60% of students (15 students) met the MMC. The most evident progress was seen in students’ confidence and sentence variation, though fluency and vocabulary accuracy still needed development.Improvements continued in Cycle II, with the average score rising to 85.1—an additional increase of 9.9 points from Cycle I and 22.6 points from the pre- cycle. The percentage of students who met the MMC jumped to 90%, exceeding the minimum success indicator of 75% class mastery. Students also showed better fluency, vocabulary use, and the ability to express ideas systematically. The teacher’s involvement was a contributing factor to these outcomes. In general, the study found that Reciprocal Teaching really helps students improve their speaking skills when learning Indonesian, especially when talking about single and mixed objects.

This study aims to investigate the influence of teacher commitment on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for 11th-grade students at SMAN 2 Tualang. The background of this research is the observed behavior of teacher commitment towards student learning outcomes. Teacher commitment refers to the teacher's dedication in providing instruction to students, self-career development, and professionalism in carrying out school duties. Learning outcomes, on the other hand, are the results of the interaction between learning and teaching activities. When a teacher demonstrates high commitment to teaching and student development, they tend to be more actively involved in the teaching and learning process, which encourages and motivates students. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method with a correlational approach. The population consisted of 11th-grade students at SMAN 2 Tualang, totaling 387 students. A simple random sampling technique was used to select a sample of 97 students. Data collection was done through questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression. The results indicate that teacher commitment significantly influences students' Pancasila Education learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Tualang. This is supported by the significant value of 0.000<0.05 and a f count of 130.354> f table of 3.939. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.578, meaning that 57.8% of the variation in Pancasila Education learning outcomes can be explained by teacher commitment, while the remaining 42.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. As the hypothesis formulated that teacher commitment has an effect. In this case the hypothesis is accepted on the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMAN 2 Tualang.
