Abstract

Penelitian ini blertujuan untuk mlengetahui jawablan emlpiris tentang pengaruh penggunaan mledia ular tangga terhadap hasil blelajar mlatemlatika siswa kelas 3 SD Negeri Dawung 1. Dalaml penelitian ini peneliti mlenggunakan mletolde eksperimlen dengan jenis pre-eksperimlental dan blerblentuk OLne Grolup Pretest-Polsttest Design. Polpulasi yang digunakan dalamlpenelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas 3 dengan jumllah 20 siswa. Instrumlen yang digunakan peneliti blerupa solal pilihan ganda dengan jumllah 10 solal yaitu solal pre-test dan polst-test. Teknik pengumlpulan data: 1) Tes, 2) Dolkumlentasi. Teknik analisis data dalamlpenelitian ini mlenggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif dan analisis hipoltesis dengan mlenggunakan rumlus paired samlple t-test. Hasil penelitian mlenunjukkan blahwa: 1) MLedia ular tangga seblagai mledia pemlblelajaran dirancang sesuai dengan perkemlblangan dan karakteristik siswa sehingga dapat mlemloltivasi siswa kelas 3 dalaml mlemlahamli mlateri pecahan pada mlata pelajaran mlatemlatika dapat dilihat dari nilai yang diperolleh siswa yang seblelumlnya blerkategolri rendah setelah mlenggunakan mledia pemlblelajaran dapat blerkategolri tinggi, 2) MLedia pemlblelajaran ular tangga sangat blerpengaruh terhadap hasil blelajar siswa, dapat dilihat dari hasil blelajar siswa pada nilai pre-test dan polst-test.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model supported by PhET Simulation media on elementary school students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the topic of fractions. The research method used is a quasi-experimental, utilizing a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The participants included students from class IVB, serving as the experimental group, and class IVC as the control group in an elementary school located in Purwakarta Regency. Analysis of the data indicates that the experimental group, which was instructed using the CTL model supported by PhET Simulation media, showed a notable improvement in their understanding of mathematical concepts compared to the control group, which followed traditional teaching methods. This is evidenced by the N-Gain test scores, where the experimental class achieved an average score of 61.13%, while the control class obtained an average of 44.90%. Additionally, implementing the CTL model with PhET Simulation media resulted in a 15. 9% increase in students' comprehension of mathematical concepts. In summary, the findings suggest that the experimental group displayed enhanced understanding of mathematical concepts following the application of the CTL model, indicating a positive impact of the CTL model on their learning.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in learning Pancasila Education through the application of the Group Investigation learning model in grade IV elementary school. The sample in this research were grade IV students of SDN Menteng Atas 14 as many as 23 students. the type of method used in this research is Classroom Action Research model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model which consists of four stages, namely, planning, action, observing, and reflecting. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and tests. The results of the research by applying the Group Investigation learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of grade IV students. In cycle I the acquisition of critical thinking skills test scores amounted to 56.5%. Then, in cycle II with the acquisition of critical thinking skills test score of 91%. This shows an increase in critical thinking skills from cycle I to cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning by using the Group Investiagtion model can improve the critical thinking skills of students in learning Pancasila Education in class IV SDN Menteng Atas 14.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of bamboozle edugame media on the learning outcomes of science subjects on diversity and cultural heritage of class V of SD Negeri 195 Palembang. The problems found were caused by the use of learning media that were less interesting and interactive, resulting in low science subjects learning outcomes of class V of SD Negeri 195. This study used a quantitative experimental method with the True-Experimental Design technique in the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample used in this study was class V.A students as the experimental class totaling 30 students, and class V.B students as the control class totaling 30 students. Data collection techniques used tests and documentation. Data analysis used normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests. Based on the results of the study showed that the results of the final test (posttest) in the experimental class that was given treatment using the baamboozle edugame media obtained an average value of 82.33 and the control class obtained an average value of 68.33. In addition, based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test (Independent Sample T-Test) the results obtained were that the t-count value > t-table, namely 5.709 > 2.001 or the significance value of t-count 0.000 < t-table 0.05, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of baamboozle edugame media on the learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using snakes and ladders media on the mathematical problem solving skills of fifth grade students at SDN 4 Cakranegara. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design type nonequivalent control group design. The sample of this study amounted to 42 students, consisting of class VA (22 students) as the experimental class and class VB (20 students) as the control class. Data collection methods are observation and test. The results of the research analysis concluded that between the experimental class and the control class there was a significant difference and an increase after treatment. In the experimental class, the average posttest score obtained by students was 84.90 while in the control class it was 65.60. In testing the hypothesis using an independent sample t test, the sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) (<0.001) ≤ 0.05 then rejected and accepted and the effect size test results obtained are 1,596 in the very large category. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the use of snakes and ladders media on the mathematical problem solving ability of fifth grade students at SDN 4 Cakranegara.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of the role of teachers as role models in character formation of elementary school students in the digital era through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Data were collected from ten national and international scientific articles published in 2019–2025 obtained through systematic searches on Google Scholar and SINTA. The review process followed the PRISMA flow which includes the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion of articles. The analysis was carried out thematically by grouping the findings into three main themes, namely: (1) teachers as role models and opinion leaders, (2) contextual and adaptive character learning approaches, and (3) collaboration between teachers, parents, and the school environment. The results of the study show that teachers have a strategic role in shaping students' character through moral role models and the integration of character values ​​in technology-based learning. The challenges of the Society 5.0 era, such as the rapid flow of information and low digital ethics literacy, require teachers to have digital literacy skills and an understanding of cyber ethics. Effective character learning also requires synergy between teachers, parents, and the school community on an ongoing basis. This study provides a conceptual contribution to strengthening the role of teachers in the context of Kurikulum Merdeka, although it is limited to the type of literature analyzed and has not involved quantitative empirical data. Further research with a mixed approach is recommended to test the effectiveness of technology-based character learning models more comprehensively.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) examine students’ critical thinking skills as part of the Pancasila Student Profile in Grade IV at SD Negeri 64/I Muara Bulian, and (2) identify the factors influencing critical thinking within the context of the Pancasila Student Profile in the same class. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data on students’ critical thinking skills in the Pancasila Student Profile were collected from both students and teachers. Meanwhile, data on the factors influencing students’ critical thinking were obtained from teachers, students, and parents. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the critical thinking skills of Grade IV students at SDN 64/I Muara Bulian, as reflected in the Pancasila Student Profile, are generally good. Most students demonstrated the ability to understand, analyze, synthesize, evaluate, and draw conclusions effectively. A total of 20 students showed active and logical understanding of the material; 20 students were able to analyze by breaking down and comparing information; 17 students synthesized information from various sources into meaningful understanding; 16 students demonstrated logical evaluations; and 20 students were able to formulate relevant and in-depth conclusions.

Abstract

This research seeks to assess how guided inquiry learning models impact the critical thinking abilities of fifth graders at SD Al Manar Surabaya, focusing on the characteristics of geometric shapes. Quantitative approach is employed with a quasi-experimental format. The study's participants are all fifth-grade pupils at SD Al Manar Surabaya. The research sample includes 25 learners from class VA serving as the control group, alongside 25 learners from class VB who make up the experimental group. For data collection, the study utilized interviews, observations, tests targeting critical thinking skills, and documentation. The study concentrated on the results of tests, which were assessed for normal distribution, consistency, and independent sample t-tests to examine the suggested hypotheses. The data analysis was performed with IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. The outcomes of the hypothesis tests, obtained from the independent sample t-test, showed a significance (2-tailed) value of 0. 015.

Abstract

Elementary education faces transformative challenges in the 21st century, where learning practices are not merely about knowledge transfer but require the development of deep conceptual understanding in students. This research aims to obtain information/overview, identify, and analyze the impact of implementing a deep learning approach in enhancing students' conceptual understanding in elementary schools. The research subjects consisted of fifth-grade teachers and students in elementary schools. This study used a qualitative case study approach with data collection techniques conducted through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The implementation stages were based on the deep learning process: understanding, applying, and reflecting. The results show that the implementation of a deep learning approach, which includes indicators of mindful learning, meaningful learning, and joyful learning, has a positive impact on improving students' conceptual understanding in IPAS (Science, Social Studies, and Arts) learning. Due to limitations in the research subjects, future researchers are advised to expand the scope of subjects and subjects, and to conduct further quantitative research to statistically test the effectiveness of deep learning on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep merupakan landasan utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Tanpa pemahaman konsep yang kuat, siswa akan mengalami kesulitan dalam mengaplikasikan pengetahuan dan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa menjadi prioritas dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media lapbook pada kelas eksperimen dan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media PowerPoint pada kelas kontrol terhadap pemahaman konsep Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental berbentuk nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 50 siswa kelas V. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pemahaman konsep IPS yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, yang diberikan sebelum (pre-test) dan sesudah (post-test) perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada pemahaman konsep IPS antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol setelah perlakuan. Rata-rata N-gain kelompok eksperimen mencapai 63,69%, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa model PjBL berbantuan media lapbook efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPS siswa sekolah dasar.
