Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Panca Kharisma Utama. As a key factor in achieving organizational goals, effective human resource management is important to improve performance. Motivation and work discipline are two elements that can play a major role in influencing employee performance. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive, comparative, and associative approach. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 50 employees, and analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the effect of each variable on employee performance. The results showed that motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) significantly influenced employee performance (Y) at PT. Panca Kharisma Utama. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.556 indicates that 55.6% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by motivation and work discipline. The partial t-test shows that both variables have a significant positive effect on performance, while the simultaneous F-test indicates that both variables together have a significant effect on employee performance. This study provides recommendations to companies to improve motivation and work discipline in order to achieve more optimal performance.

Abstract

This study explores the process of reinforcing civic values to shape the character of the younger generation in the digital era. It addresses the challenges posed by technological advancements such as misinformation, cyberbullying, and moral decline, emphasizing the urgent need for integrated educational strategies. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research investigates how collaboration between schools, families, and communities contributes to character development. Data were collected through literature review and semi-structured interviews with educators, students, and education observers. The findings reveal that civic education is more effective when supported by digital media and strengthened by consistent communication between parents and schools. Programs that integrate local values and national identity into digital learning platforms enhance students’ understanding of civic responsibility. Moreover, parental involvement through digital tools plays a significant role in reinforcing values taught at school. The study concludes that while digital platforms offer innovative methods for character education, their success depends on cultural relevance, ethical supervision, and equitable access. This research contributes to the development of character education models that are adaptable to technological changes while rooted in shared civic values, ensuring that students become both digitally competent and morally grounded individuals.

Abstract

This article discusses the prediction of Indonesian political dynamics in the future after the elimination of the presidential threshold by the Constitutional Court (MK). The method used is a mixture method, a qualitative approach with NVivo 12 software and an analysis of the quantitative approach using SEM PLS-4. Theresults of the study show that politics and democracy significantly affect the National Defense, with a coefficient of 0.468 and a P-value of 0.023, which means a significant effect on the 5% significance level. This indicates that political stability and democracy have a greater role in forming national defense. So the model of strengthening the coalition system in parliament can encourage interparty consensus to maintain government stability, ensure that defense policies continue to run, maintain the neutrality of the TNI, keep the National Police consistent, and commit to state security, and the role of society is still needed to oversee politics and democracy

Abstract

The role of non-civil servant (non-ASN) employees has become increasingly vital in line with improvements and growing complexity in public services. However, non-ASN employees in Indonesia often face various challenges, such as uncertain employment status and high workloads. These issues can pragmatically influence employees' loyalty and attachment to the organization, particularly for non-ASN employees within the Department of Industry and Manpower in Surabaya. This study aims to examine the influence of workload and motivation on organizational commitment among non-ASN employees, using a quantitative approach. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 60 respondents and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) to derive relevant findings. The results indicate that workload has no significant effect on organizational commitment, suggesting that the amount or intensity of work assigned to employees does not directly determine their loyalty and attachment to the organization. However, motivation was found to significantly affect organizational commitment, meaning that the higher the employees' motivation, the stronger their commitment to the organization. Future research is recommended to explore mediating variables such as leadership style and organizational culture

The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Field surveys were conducted to gather data on the social, cultural, and economic profiles of the indigenous community. In-depth interviews were conducted with traditional leaders and community members to gain a comprehensive understanding. Economic data was collected through surveys, market price approaches, and benefit transfer methods. The findings reveal that the BUMMA Namblong Indigenous Community possesses unique cultural traits and a way of life governed by customary values, rituals, and religious practices. Their social life is rooted in strong communal interactions, while a close relationship with the surrounding environment also plays a significant role. The significance of preserving nature and culture is evident in the high value placed on the indigenous forest. The forest holds cultural significance and profound knowledge about ecosystem balance and sustainable resource utilisation. The economy of the BUMMA Namblong indigenous region relies on fields, gardens, traditional craftsmanship, and the potential for ecotourism. To assess the economic value of the indigenous territory, market price approaches and benefit transfer methods are employed. Market prices are used to gauge the value of agricultural commodities and forest products. The benefit transfer method is utilised to estimate the value of environmental services such as oxygen production by the forest.
