Abstract

This study explores phonological variations in the Komering dialects of South Sumatra, Indonesia, examining differences in vowel and consonant phonemes influenced by geographical and socio-cultural factors. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and synchronic dialectology, data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, and technological tools like Praat software and Natural Language Processing (NLP). The findings} reveal significant phoneme shifts, such as [i] to [ε] and [h] to omission. Despite these variations, the linguistic kinship among Komering dialects remains strong, reflecting community interactions and adaptations. This research emphasizes the importance of preserving endangered regional languages by integrating phonological research with educational technology and gamification, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities). Proposed solutions include interactive language learning tools and edupreneurship initiatives to engage younger generations while fostering cultural preservation and creative innovation. The study contributes to linguistic understanding, cultural heritage preservation, and inclusive education by offering sustainable approaches to address language endangerment in the digital age.

Abstract

This study examines the potential of collaborative learning platforms to promote edupreneurship in underprivileged regions, with a specific focus on the role of persuasive communication by volunteers at Gubuk Literasi. During the COVID-19 pandemic, increased smartphone usage led to a notable decline in children reading interest, particularly in rural areas. Gubuk Literasi addresses this issue by fostering a reading culture through innovative volunteer-driven approaches that emphasize personalized communication, engaging language, and effective time management. This research employs a qualitative methodology, collecting both primary and secondary data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that persuasive communication significantly influences children willingness to read, with strategies such as active listening, collaborative discussions, and reward systems proving particularly effective. This study underscores the importance of volunteer efforts in creating an inclusive and sustainable learning ecosystem. By leveraging collaborative platforms, initiatives like Gubuk Literasi not only enhance literacy but also serve as a model for edupreneurship, empowering communities to address educational disparities and drive socio-economic growth in underprivileged regions. These insights contribute to a broader understanding of how localized educational innovations can align with global development goals, providing actionable strategies for expanding access to quality education.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, especially those offering culturally unique products, face challenges in sustaining and growing their businesses. Digital marketing, particularly through social media, presents an opportunity to foster the development of these enterprises. However, the adoption of digital marketing by MSMEs in Kampoeng Cyber Jogja remains underexplored. This qualitative research aims to assess the extent of digital marketing adoption among MSMEs in Kampoeng Cyber Jogja and identify the factors that support or hinder its use. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Kampoeng Cyber pioneers, MSME actors, the Head of RW09, and a digital marketing expert. The findings show that MSMEs in Kampoeng Cyber Jogja use social media for advertising, sharing product information, customer engagement, and selling products. Supporting factors include high-quality products and strong entrepreneurial motivation, while hindering factors include limited knowledge, slow adaptation to technology, resource constraints, and disorganized bookkeeping. This study suggests that MSMEs in Kampoeng Cyber Jogja need to set more explicit business goals to fully leverage digital marketing for scaling their businesses. Further research is needed to explore the long-term implications of digital marketing adoption and its impact on MSME sustainability and growth.

Abstract

This study examines the academic culture in Christian universities in Indonesia through the Value Survey Model (VSM) 2013 Hofstede, analyzing its impact on innovation readiness and technopreneurial development. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through surveys from faculty members and students across several Christian universities. The study employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the relationships between Hofstede’s cultural dimensions, including power distance, individualism vs collectivism, masculinity vs femininity, uncertainty avoidance, long-term vs short-term orientation, and indulgence vs restraint. Findings indicate that Christian universities in Indonesia exhibit a collectivist academic culture with high uncertainty avoidance and significant power distance, which influence institutional innovation potential. While long-term orientation and masculinity moderately affect academic behavior, constraints in academic freedom and risk-taking hinder the adoption of digital and entrepreneurial initiatives. This study highlights the role of academic culture in shaping innovation readiness and provides strategic recommendations for fostering a more adaptable and competitive academic environment aligned with global technopreneurship trends.

Abstract

This paper is motivated by the still weak bargaining position of Islamic finance in the development policy constellation. In fact, Islamic finance has a variety of advantages compared to conventional, and has a variety of instruments that can be developed. One of the innovations in the development of Islamic financial instruments is the combination of sukuk and waqf or called sukuk linked waqf. The development of waqf-linked sukuk is one of the innovations and a manifestation of the importance of formulating objectives derived from religious and divine values or known as the Tawhidi String Relation (TSR). The TSR approach emphasizes the truth that comes from God, while at the same time emphasizing the importance of trying to achieve the benefit of the world. The principle of TSR is the oneness of Allah SWT which is known as Tawhid which acts as the main method for the development of Islamic finance. The oneness of Allah SWT is represented in the Al-Qur'an which is then juxtaposed with As-Sunnah. Based on the TSR approach, this paper suggests that there are many arguments or basic arguments for the importance of returning the financial sector back to the sharia economy which originates from the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah. This weak correlation causes the innovation results in the ecosystem for the development of waqf-linked sukuk to be weak. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the Islamic financial conclusion which must truly base its ecosystem on the basis of the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah as the foundation for the development of sukuk linked waqf.

Abstract

The Food and Beverage (F&B) industry in Southeast Asia faces challenges such as raw material price volatility, high debt burden, and changes in consumer preferences, so companies need to manage their financial performance well through financial ratio analysis and product innovation to remain competitive amidst the instability of the ASEAN market and policies. This study analyzes the effect of Return on Assets/ROA, Cash Ratio/CR, Debt to Asset Ratio/DAR, Asset Turnover/ATO, and Price Earnings Ratio/PER on managerial ownership and their impact on stock returns. We assess how product development costs and financial distress moderate the relationship. The objects of the study were F&B sector companies in Southeast Asia listed on the stock exchange, data period 2012 to 2023. The method used was panel data regression. The results showed that ROA and CR positively and significantly affected managerial ownership. Conversely, DAR and PER did not show a significant effect. Moderation of product development costs weakened the impact of ROA on managerial ownership, while financial distress weakened the relationship between DAR and managerial ownership. This study suggests the importance of efficient management of assets, cash, and liabilities and the need for strategic product innovation to maintain and increase managerial ownership. Combining various financial ratios with managerial ownership and their effects on stock returns offers a more comprehensive perspective than previous studies.

Abstract

This study investigates how digital transformation within the Catholic Church in Indonesia can enhance digital donation intentions by analyzing the influence of trust, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, perceived risk, and perceived security on attitudes and engagement toward technology acceptance. Employing a quantitative design with an explanatory and cross-sectional approach, data were gathered from 100 respondents across 10 archdioceses in Indonesia using stratified random sampling. The analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to examine the relationships between the variables. The findings reveal significant effects of Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, perceived risk, attitude, and engagement on digital donation intention. These results offer practical insights into improving donation practices and accelerating digital transformation within the Catholic Church in Indonesia. This study further proposes a novel conceptual framework that integrates trust, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, perceived risk, and perceived security to explain attitudes and engagement in digital donations. This model expands the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by incorporating additional factors relevant to donation behavior. Moreover, the study addresses a gap in the literature by highlighting the decline in QRIS adoption following the COVID-19 pandemic-an issue rarely discussed in prior donation studies. Digital donations in this context are also positioned as part of a broader social entrepreneurship movement that leverages technology to foster community involvement and ensure the financial sustainability of religious institutions.

Abstract

Access to health services is a critical factor in improving the well-being of low-socioeconomic status families. However, many families in Surakarta face challenges in utilizing healthcare services. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between educational level, family economic status, and other demographic factors with their willingness to access health services at RSUD Dr. Moewardi, Surakarta. The purpose of this study is to determine how education, economic status, and demographics influence healthcare-seeking behavior among low-socioeconomic families, with the goal of improving healthcare accessibility and understanding barriers to usage. A quantitative approach was employed, using a Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) model. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to 116 respondents from low-socioeconomic families in Surakarta, with a focus on education, income, and healthcare-seeking behavior. The data were analyzed using SPSS to identify relationships between variables. The analysis showed significant differences in healthcare access behavior based on educational level, with families possessing higher education levels being more likely to utilize healthcare services. Economic factors were also identified as a strong predictor of healthcare access willingness. The study highlights the importance of addressing educational and economic barriers to improve access to health services for low-socioeconomic families. Policymakers must consider these factors when developing healthcare programs aimed at increasing participation from marginalized groups.
