Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and identify the ethical values contained in the novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck by Hamka. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source is the novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck by Hamka. The data collection technique uses reading and listening techniques and note-taking techniques. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis with informal presentation of the analysis results. The results of this research show that there are several ethical values in the novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck by Hamka, 5 data were found, the forms of ethical values include: religious values, moral values, social values, and descriptive ethical values and normative ethics. The religious value is that every human being needs gratitude so that human life can be prosperous and happy. Moral values, namely a person's good and bad, can be seen from their polite, friendly, sincere, affectionate and responsible attitudes. The social value in this novel is that humans must respect and respect each other; and helping each other. Normative Ethics describes human behavior as it is. Meanwhile, descriptive ethics is how patterns of human behavior are related to situations and realities that are entrenched in people's lives

Abstract

As a field of natural sciences that studies living things, biology not only plays an important role but also basis for various essential applied fields such as agriculture, medical, biotechnology and environmental science. However, biology is also a subject that is often reported difficult to learn. This study aims to identify biology concepts that are considered difficult by high school students in Indonesia through a literature review in the form of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The results of the analysis of the selected articles show that the concepts that are considered difficult are distributed at all grades in high school level. The concepts of viruses, plantae, animalia, invertebrate, cells, animal tissue structure and function, excretory system, movement system, disorders in the circulatory system, immune system, cell division, metabolism, enzymes, growth and development of organism and plant tissue culture are biological concepts that are considered difficult by high school students. The factors that cause certain biological concepts are difficult to learn as well as the efforts to overcome the difficulties in the biology learning process related to these concepts are analyzed in this study

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to outline how innovative educators are utilizing smart tablets as a teaching tool for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) content pertaining to Indonesian kingdom history at MIN 1 Banyumas. Twenty-five fifth-grade kids made up the sample used in this study. Purposive sampling was the method employed to choose students who participated in science education using smart tablets. This study used documentation, teacher and student interviews, and observation as data gathering methods. Interviews were conducted to see how teachers and students felt about using smart tablets, observations were made to observe how technology was used in the classroom, and documentation was done to back up the findings. To thoroughly explain the use of smart tablets in Indonesian royal history education, the gathered data was examined using a qualitative descriptive methodology. According to the study's findings, using smart tablets can help teachers develop more engaging and interactive lessons while also boosting students' enthusiasm and engagement with royal history content. Teachers can use technology in innovative ways to help pupils grasp difficult subjects. According to the study's findings, MIN 1 Banyumas' use of smart tablets in science instruction has improved student engagement, learning quality, and digital literacy

Abstract

This research is motivated by research observations on the material taught in the muhadatsah course in Arabic Language Education which needs to be prepared systematically in the CERF perspective as a foreign language learning standard on the STKIP campus which has now become FKIP Alwashliyah Darussalam University Banda Aceh. This research aims to test the effectiveness of teaching materials that have been designed by previous researchers. This research aims to implement the design of muhadatsah teaching materials from the CERF perspective in Arabic language education through the Google Classroom application and its effectiveness. The method used is the Pre-experimental design method with a One group pretest-posttest design scheme with a data analysis method using the T test formula. The population is all 70 Arabic Language Education students and the sample is 15 people with research instruments using tests. The results of this research were analyzed using the T test = value (T calculated) – (T table 1%) = 8.8 - 2.977 = 5.823 (significant) and value (T calculated) – (T table 5%) = 8.8 - 2.145 = 6.655 (significant). Therefore, the conclusion shows the effectiveness of online learning media through the Google Classroom application in Arabic muhadatsah from the CERF perspective after the T test to test the validity of the values obtained so that the alternative hypothesis is accepted because the calculated t-value is greater than the t-table.

Abstract

The utilization of values in the popular legend of Amat Rhang Manyang is considered as one of the biggest factors in attracting tourists. This is because folk legends can shape children's personalities because they contain life values. Strengthening these values is important to instill in order to influence their lives. The legend of Amat Rhang Manyang was chosen because it has values that are useful to be applied in everyday life. This study aims to describe the legendary values contained in the legend of Amat Rhang Manyang as a cultural tourism asset in Aceh Besar Regency. The source of research data is the legend of Amat Rhang Manyang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews with sources. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the values contained in the legend of Amat Rhang Manyang are religious values, moral values, cultural values and social values. After going to the field, it showed that the lack of tourism promotion activities for the legend of Amat Rhang Manyang resulted in low tourist visits. In fact, if managed properly, the legend area of Amat Rhang Manyang can contribute to increasing regional income or income, opening up new jobs and can help alleviate poverty in the area around the legend area

Abstract

PThis research examines the management of educational supervision at Pesantren Terpadu Nurul Iman Cot Girek with the primary goal of shaping a strong Islamic character among the younger generation. Through a qualitative approach, the study explores the educational supervision practices at the pesantren, investigating how these practices influence the formation of Islamic character in the younger generation. Data were obtained through participatory observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings highlight the role of supervision in directing the educational process towards achieving the goal of forming an Islamic character, including oversight of the curriculum, teaching methods, and student personality development. The practical implications of this research can serve as a foundation for the development of more effective policies and practices in pesantren and other Islamic educational institutions, potentially leading to positive impacts on the formation of Islamic character in the younger generation. Thus, this research not only contributes academically to understanding educational supervision management in pesantren environments but also provides practical guidance for pesantren administrators and stakeholders in designing strategies to enhance the effectiveness of Islamic education. Through the application of the research findings and recommendations, it is hoped that pesantren and other Islamic educational institutions can be more successful in their mission to shape a strong character in the younger generation, based on deep Islamic values

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of microteaching on the anxiety of prospective teachers in the learning process at University of Muhammadiyah Aceh. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, encompassing both quantitative and qualitative methods. The population of this research consists of students from the Faculty of Islamic Studies at University of Muhammadiyah Aceh, academic year of 2021, who were taking the microteaching course, with a sample size of 20 students. The data collection techniques used included questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used to answer the research questions were normality, linearity and linear regression tests. The results of the study showed that microteaching learning was very meaningful for prospective teacher students in overcoming and reducing their anxiety levels in preparing to teach in front of the class with a strong correlation level and a determination coefficient of 43.2%. This indicates that the microteaching learning variable's ability to influence the anxiety variable of prospective teacher students is 43.2%. The results of this study indicated that there is an effect of microteaching on the anxiety of prospective teachers in the learning process at University of Muhammadiyah Aceh. Furthemore, the feedback from the lecturer and the students helped the performer to deal with the anxiety for the upcoming teaching performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of kinship greetings in Acehnese language in Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research location is focused on three villages, namely Deyah, Cot Preh, and Cot Beut. The research data are in the form of sentences containing greeting words. The data sources for this study were obtained from 10 informants, each consisting of 2 people in each research location. Data collection was carried out using interview, recording, and note-taking techniques. Data analysis was carried out through several steps, namely reading all data carefully, recording kinship greetings, classifying data based on lineage and marriage, and concluding the results of the study. The results showed that the kinship greeting system in Acehnese language in Kuta Baro District is categorized into two, namely greetings based on lineage and marriage. Forms of greetings based on lineage include greetings for great-grandparents: Syik Tu, Nek Tu; greetings for grandfathers and grandmothers: Syik, Abusyik, Nek, Nyak; greetings for parents: Father, Abu, Abi, Pak, Mak, Ummi, Bunda; and various greetings for children, grandchildren, and siblings. Greetings based on marriage line include greetings for husbands: Lakoe, Linto, Abang; greetings for wives: Inong, Ureung Inong, Adek; and greetings for in-laws, in-laws, and in-laws. These greetings show variations based on gender, age, and position in the family

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce solar system manipulative media that meets the requirements and is effective in learning the solar system. This research uses the development method with the PLOMP model, with research subjects consisting of 22 students in the experimental class and 27 students in the control class. The results of the paired sample t-test were carried out to determine whether there were differences between the pretest and posttest results of students in the experimental class and the control class. The results showed that there was a significant influence before (pretest) and after the use of solar system manipulative media (posttest) on increasing student learning outcomes in science subjects with the material "Solar System." Based on the N-gain test calculation, the average N-gain value for the experimental class is 0.730, which shows that the increase in students' critical thinking abilities in the experimental class is at a high level. Meanwhile, the average N-gain for the control class is 0.480, which shows that the critical thinking abilities of students in the control class are at a medium level. Thus, it can be concluded that the critical thinking abilities of students who are taught using the manipulative media of the solar system are higher than those of students who are taught using image media

Abstract

Student learning motivation is one of the important factors that influences the success of the learning process. Based on initial observations at SMAN 14 Medan. In class This research aims to foster students' learning motivation by applying the Snowball Throwing learning model in Civics lessons. This research was conducted in class X-6 at SMAN 14 Medan with a total of 35 students. This research is classroom action research. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. This research consists of cycle one and cycle two. Research data was taken from observations and student learning motivation questionnaires. The results of the research show that the percentage of students' learning motivation in the first cycle was 65% and in the second cycle it increased to 80%. So it can be concluded that the existence of the Snowball learning model increases students' learning motivation in class X-6 at SMAN 14 Medan.
