Abstract

Pemakaian gadget pada anak usia dini berpengaruh buruk pada pertumbuhannya. Hal ini seringkali tidak disadari oleh orang tua yang lebih memilih pembiaran anak bermain gadget supaya diam dan tenang. Di antara dampaknya adalah keterlambatan bicara anak. Untuk itulah diperlukan penelitian untuk mengkaji dampak negatif gadget pada perkembangan bicara anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak negatif penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan bicara pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan bentuk studi kasus. Subyek penelitian meliputi orang tua dan anak usia dini yang berusia 4-5 tahun menggunakan gadget rata-rata satu jam per hari yang ada di lingkungan Desa Batulayang beserta orang tuanya. Dalam kajian ini, pertemuan, persepsi, dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai teknik triangulasi informasi untuk mengumpulkan informasi. Sementara data direduksi, ditampilkan, dan diverifikasi menggunakan teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa penggunaan gadget terlalu lama berdampak negatif pada perkembangan bicara anak. Pertama, anak hanya berkomunikasi satu arah, tidak dapat mengevaluasi, menganalisis, atau memahami makna percakapan serta pemerolehan bahasa anak sangat sedikit sehingga anak mengalami keterlambatan bicara. Kedua, anak yang kecanduan gadget akan mengalami gangguan psikologis berupa menyendiri, pendiam, dan ragu untuk berkomunikasi dengan orang lain. Early childhood education is a critical stage of education for children's development. Children need developmental stimulation, including the development of expressive language. The media used for language development is audio-visual media, which is a way for children to learn to communicate with the environment verbally and non-verbally. The problem with this research began with the teacher still using the lecture method, as a result of which the students' activeness in expressing their language was not yet clearly visible. The researcher chose movie day activities as a learning approach so that children were stimulated in their expressive language. The qualitative descriptive research method with a class B research topic at PAUD Al Muslimun, totaling 12 children. The data collection technique uses participant observation techniques to find out the problem. Then, in a structured manner, the researcher interviews the children. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data collection techniques, data display, and data verification. The results of the research provide indications that movie day activities can train children to be skilled in expressive language, although not all children can develop these skills. The data obtained during the research can conclude that children will be more interested and easier to receive access to educational material through audio-visual media so that children can develop their expressive language skills. This can be seen from the results of the development achievement values, showing the value of changes that can meet the criteria for developing very well.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara merupakan hal yang penting dalam aspek perkembangan anak, itu merupakan sarana bagi anak untuk mengungkatkan isi pikiran, keinginan, perasaan, pendapat maupun ide. Sehingga dirasa penting mengasah keterampilan berbicara anak, banyak sekali metode belajar yang dapat dipilih, salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah metode mendongeng. Metode mendongeng banyak jenisnya, salah satunya adalah fabel. Fabel merupakan jenis dongeng yang mengangkat binatang sebagai tokohnnya. Alangkah baiknya jika metode pembelajaran disertai dengan media yang mendukung kelangsungan proses pembelajarannya. Salah satunya wayang kerta, wayang kertas merupakan media yang tepat sebagai alat untuk membantu guru menyampaikan isi cerita, sehingga pesan dalam dongeng tersampaikan dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui rancangan, respon guru dan anak, serta efektivitas pengembangan media wayang kertas berbasis dongeng fabel terhadap keterampilan berbicara anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan anak kelompok B dan guru di Kober Al-Aminah yang menjadi subjek penelitiannya.  Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah angket, observasi dan wawancara, dengan analisis penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu rancangan produk yang dikembangkan peneliti mendapatkan kategori sangat layak, guru dan anak menunjukkan respon baik dan antusias, serta keterampilan berbicara anak menjadi meningkat. Speaking skills are important in child development; they allow children to express thoughts, desires, feelings, opinions, and ideas. So it is considered important to hone children's speaking skills. Many learning methods can be chosen; one of the learning methods that can be used is the storytelling method. There are many types of storytelling methods, one of which is fables. Fables are a type of fairy tale that uses animals as characters. It would be better if the learning method was accompanied by media that supports the continuity of the learning process. One of them is paper puppets. Paper puppets are the right media tool to help teachers convey the content of the story so that the message in the fairy tale is conveyed well. The aim of this research is to determine the design and responses of teachers and children, as well as the effectiveness of developing fable-based paper puppet media on children's speaking skills. The research method used was the Research and Development (R&D) method with group B children and teachers in Kober Al-Aminah who were the research subjects. Data collection techniques in this research are questionnaires, observations, and interviews, with quantitative and qualitative research analysis. The results of this research are that the product design developed by researchers received a very feasible category, teachers and children showed good and enthusiastic responses, and children's speaking skills improved.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu komponen perkembangan konigtif yang sangat penting. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran kemampuan ini kurang dilatih secara optimal sehingga anak terlihat memiliki keterlambatan dalam memahami instruksi yang diberikan oleh guru dan nampak kurang aktif dalam kegiatan tanya jawab bersama guru.  Permasalahan tersebut didasari oleh faktor terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran  di Tk III Pertiwi Tembalang. Salah satu media pembelajaran untuk menstimulus kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu eksperimen lava lamp). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh eksperimen Lava Lamp dalam menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelompok B (usia 5-6) TK III Pertiwi Tembalang. Dengan subjek penelitian 15 anak dikelas kontrol dan 15 dikelas eksperimen. Instrument pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji Independent Samples T-test. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian hipotesis serta analisis data yang telah dilakukan, terdapat pengaruh eksperimen lava lamp dalam mestimulasi kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia 5 – 6 tahun di TK III Pertiwi Tembalang Semarang. Critical thinking ability is a very important component of cognitive development. In learning activities, this ability is not trained optimally so children appear to have delays in understanding the instructions given by the teacher and appear less active in question-and-answer activities with the teacher. This problem is based on the limited use of learning media at Kindergarten III Pertiwi Tembalang. One of the learning media that stimulates critical thinking skills is the lava lamp experiment. This research aims to determine the effect of the Lava Lamp experiment in stimulating the critical thinking skills of children 5–6 years old at Kindergarten III Pertiwi Tembalang Semarang. The research subjects were 15 children in the control class and 15 in the experimental class. Data collection in this research used observation sheets. The type of research used is quantitative research using experimental methods with a nonequivalent control group design. The data analysis techniques used are the normality test, homogeneity test, and Independent Samples T-test. Based on the results of hypothesis research and data analysis that has been carried out, the lava lamp experiment influences the critical thinking abilities of children aged 5-6 years at TK III Pertiwi Tembalang Semarang.

Abstract

Rasa percaya diri pada anak merupakan kemampuan yang perlu dikembangkan melalui suatu metode pembelajaran yang diajarkan di sekolah, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan metode bernyanyi, sebab kemampuan rasa percaya diri anak kelompok B menunjukan hasil yang rendah dikarenakan kurangnya stimulus dalam pembelajaran I kelas. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengoptimalkan rasa percaya diri anak-anak melalui metode bernyanyi. Penelitian ini diteliti dengan menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan jenis model penelitian Kemmis & Mc. Taggart dengan subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B yang berjumlah 11. Setelah data terkumpul, data dianalisis data menggunakan nilai rata-rata dalam bentuk persentase yang diperoleh dari data observasi. Setelah dianalisis diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat peningkatan rasa percaya diri anak yang di setiap siklus antara lain 1) kemampuan rasa percaya diri pada pra siklus berada pada nilai rata-rata 40,90%, mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 50,30% dan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 78,78%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan metode bernyanyi yang diterapkan sebagai solusi permasalahan yang dilaksanakan mulai dari pra siklus hingga siklus ke-2 kemampuan rasa percaya diri dapat meningkatkan. Self-confidence in children is an ability that needs to be developed through a learning method taught at school, one of which is using the singing method because the self-confidence ability of group B children shows low results due to the lack of stimulus in class I learning. Therefore, this research aimed to optimize children's self-confidence through singing methods. This research was conducted using classroom action research with the Kemmis & Mc research model. Taggart's research subjects were 11 group B children. After the data was collected, the data were analyzed using average values in the form of percentages obtained from observation data. After analysis, the research results showed that there was an increase in children's self-confidence in each cycle, including 1) the ability to feel confident in the pre-cycle was at an average value of 40.90%; 2) there was an increase in the first cycle with an average value of 50, 30%; and 3) in the second cycle the average score was 78.78%, so it can be concluded that by using the singing method as a solution to problems implemented from the pre-cycle to the second cycle, self-confidence can increase.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter sangat penting diterapkan sejak usia dini karena akan berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan selanjutnya. Penguatan karakter profil pelajar Pancasila terdapat pada kurikulum merdeka. Beberapa sekolah sudah mulai menerapkan kurikulum merdeka termasuk PAUD Istiqomah Bandung sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk menganalisa adanya capaian karakter profil pelajar Pancasila pada seluruh anak melalui serangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran sehari-hari dari mulai kegiatan pembuka sampai penutup. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kasus dengan sasaran penelitian seluruh anak kelompok A dan B di PAUD Istiqomah. Pengumpulan data berupa observasi terhadap seluruh anak pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung, wawancara terhadap guru dan studi dokumentasi. Data dikaji dengan mengunakan model Miles dan Huberman mencakup 3 tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tercapainya 5 dari 6 dimensi karakter profil pelajar Pancasila di PAUD Istiqomah, yaitu; (1) beriman, bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berakhlak mulia, (2) mandiri, (3) bergotong royong, (4) berkebhinekaan global, dan (5) kreatif, namun capaian karakter bernalar kritis masih rendah, sehingga perlu adanya inovasi kegiatan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan capaian tersebut. Character education is critical to implement from an early age because it will influence later life. Strengthening the character of the Pancasila student profile is found in the independent curriculum. Several schools have started implementing the independent curriculum, including PAUD Istiqomah Bandung, so researchers are interested in analyzing the achievements of the Pancasila student profile character among all children through a series of daily learning activities from opening to closing activities. The research method uses a case study, with the research target being all children in groups A and B at PAUD Istiqomah. Data collection involves observations of all children during learning, teacher interviews, and documentation studies. The data was studied using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research show that five of the six dimensions of the character profile of Pancasila students at PAUD Istiqomah have been achieved, namely: (1) have faith, have devotion to God Almighty, and have noble character; (2) be independent; (3) work together; (4) have global diversity; and (5) be creative, but the achievement of critical reasoning character is still low, so there is a need for innovation learning activities that can improve these achievements.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan penunjang keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar, karena membuat pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan. Seperti pada penelitian yang dilaksanakan di TK Plus Al Hikmah, masih banyak anak mengalami kesulitan mengucapkan dan mengingat bentuk huruf. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media papan flanel dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B usia 5-6 tahun sebanyak 26 orang anak, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan angket. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif deskriprif yang diperoleh dari penilaian produk berupa saran dan masukan dari ahli dan analisis data statistik deskriptif kuantiatif berupa jumlah skor yang dihitung menggunakan teknik statistik dari hasil penilaian angket. Hasil validitas kelayakan dari ahli materi dan media memperoleh presentase 91% kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Hasil penilaian guru  media papan flanel dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” nilai rata-rata sebesar 82,%. Hasil respon peserta didik menyatakan media papan panel “Sangat Baik”, dengan nilai rata-rata persentase 90,2%. Hasil peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan memperoleh nilai BSB dengan nilai rata-rata 81% , hasil menunjukkan media papan flanel sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Learning media is a supporter of the success of the teaching and learning process because it makes learning more enjoyable. As in research conducted at Kindergarten Plus Al Hikmah, many children still have difficulty pronouncing and remembering letter shapes. Therefore, this research aims to develop flannel board media to improve the beginning reading skills of children aged 5-6 years. The subjects of this research were 26 group B children aged 5-6 years, using the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the Borg and Gall development model. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques obtained from product assessments in the form of suggestions and input from experts and quantitative descriptive statistical data analysis in the form of total scores calculated using statistical techniques from the results of questionnaire assessments. The feasibility validity results from material and media experts obtained a percentage of 91% for the "Very Eligible" criteria. The results of the teacher's assessment of flannel board media were declared "Very Appropriate" with an average score of 82%. The results of student responses stated that the panel board media was "very good," with an average percentage score of 90.2%. The results of improving initial reading ability obtained a BSB score with an average score of 81%. The results show that flannel board media is very suitable for use in early reading learning for children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan pembelajaran meningkatkan sikap disiplin anak usia dini melalui metode pemberian tugas berbasis potensi alam, memaparkan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran metode pemberian tugas berbasis potensi alam untuk meningkatkan sikap disiplin anak usia dini, dan menguraikan hasil dari pembelajaran meningkatkan sikap disiplin anak usia dini melalui metode pemberian tugas berbasis potensi alam di kelompok A. Untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan data yang dihasilkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TKA Assalam dengan melakukan pembelajaran pada sembilan anak di kelompok A yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan beberapa temuan diantaranya yaitu 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran meningkatkan sikap disiplin anak usia dini melalui metode pemberian tugas berbasis potensi alam disusun dengan langkah-langkah yang baik oleh guru. 2) Proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran metode pemberian tugas berbasis potensi alam disambut dengan antusias oleh siswa dan membuat pelaksanaan pembelajaran berjalan secara kondusif 3) Hasil pembelajaran menunjukan bahwa sikap disiplin siswa mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan dengan mayoritas siswa berada dalam tingkat Berkembang Sangat Baik setelah dilakukan metode pembelajaran pemberian tugas berbasis potensi alam.   This research aims to determine learning planning to improve the disciplinary attitude of early childhood through a natural potential-based assignment method, explain the process of implementing learning using a natural potential-based assignment method to improve the disciplinary attitude of early childhood and describe the results of learning to improve attitudes. Early childhood discipline through a method of giving assignments based on natural potential in group A. To obtain data in this research, researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods with data generated through observation and interviews. The data analysis used is data reduction, data display, and verification. This research was carried out at TKA Assalam by conducting learning on 9 children in group A who were the research subjects. The results of the research revealed several findings, including 1) Learning planning improves the disciplinary attitude of early childhood through a method of giving assignments based on natural potential, prepared in good steps by the teacher. 2) The process of implementing the learning method based on natural potential was greeted enthusiastically by students and made the implementation of learning run conductively. 3) The learning results showed that students' disciplinary attitudes experienced a very significant improvement, with the majority of students being at the Very Good Developing level after implementing the learning method and giving assignments based on natural potential.

Abstract

Karakteristik pembelajaran anak usia dini, dijadikan acuan sebagai proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Materi angka salah satu yang masih mempunyai kendala pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Matematika dasar perlu dikenalkan pada peserta didik, dengan tujuan supaya anak dapat mengetahui jumlah benda serta mengenal angka, sehingga kemampuan matematika dasar pada anjak dapat ditingkatkan, salah satunya melalui media pembelajaran yaitu spindle box. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan media spindle box dalam meningkatkan kemampuan matematika dasar kelompok A. Metode R&D digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Subjek penelitian dilakukan pada anak kelompok A, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, serta angket validasi. Data yang diperoleh, dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis dan statistik data kualitatif deskriptif. Data ini didapat dari penilaian produk berupa saran dan masukan dari ahli, dan analisis data berupa jumlah skor yang dihitung menggunakan teknik statistik dari hasil penilaian angket. Berdasarkan hasil validitas kelayakan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media diperoleh  93,6% dengan kategori "layak". Penilaian guru terhadap media spindle box memperoleh  82,5% dengan kategori "layak". Kemudian peningkatan kemampuan matematika dasar pada anak didapatkan hasil sebesar 83% dengan kategori berkembang sesuai harapan. Hasil ini menunjukkan pengembangan media spindle box dinyatakan sangat "layak.".   The characteristics of early childhood learning are used as a reference for the process of teaching and learning activities. Number material is one of the things that still has problems in learning activities. Basic mathematics needs to be introduced to students, with the aim that children can know the number of objects and recognize numbers so that basic mathematical abilities in factoring can be improved, one of which is through learning media, namely the spindle box. This research aims to determine the feasibility of developing spindle box media to improve the basic mathematical abilities of group A. The R&D method used in this research is the Borg and Gall development model. The research subjects were group A children; data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation, and validation questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive qualitative data analysis and statistical techniques. This data is obtained from product assessments in the form of suggestions and input from experts and data analysis in the form of total scores calculated using statistical techniques from the results of questionnaire assessments. Based on the results of feasibility validity by material experts and media experts, it was obtained 93.6% in the "feasible" category. The teacher's assessment of the spindle box media was 82.5% in the "decent" category. Then the result of increasing basic mathematics skills in children was 83%, with the category developing as expected. These results show that the development of spindle box media is declared very "feasible.".

Abstract

The ability of independence in early childhood education is a demand at this time, where this ability of independence is needed by early childhood to be able to survive and be able to mingle in an even bigger environment compared to the family environment, namely the community environment. Besides that, in stimulating independence abilities, the teacher's efforts are also needed in presenting interesting learning of independence skills so that children do not feel burdened, media that is interesting and fun for children is needed. Therefore this study aims to increase the independence abilities of group A children, namely children aged 4-5 years by learning practical life through animated films. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research with descriptive data analysis. The subjects of this study were 8 children in group A at RA Arafah Cimahi Selatan and data collection techniques were through observation and documentation. Based on the results of this study, it shows that there is an increase in the ability of independence in group A children by learning practical life through animated films. Obtained the final results of the study of 8 research subjects 1 child whose independence ability began to develop and 7 children's independence ability has developed very well

Abstract

Kecerdasan emosional dapat membantu anak dalam membuat sebuah keputusan dengan baik, cara anak dapat bersosialisasi dengan orang lain serta memahami dirinya sendiri. Namun, sebagian besar anak-anak masih mengalami kesulitan dalam mengelola kemampuan emosinya, seperti bersikap egois, mengekpresikan rasa marah dengan tidak wajar, menjalin hubungan kurang baik dengan temannya. Permainan tradisional congklak adalah permainan yang dimainkan oleh dua orang dengan media berupa papan panjang yang terdapat 16 lubang dan biji. Salah satu manfaat dari permainan ini adalah dapat mengembangkan kemampuan emosional anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kecerdasan emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui permainan tradisional congklak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan analisis data dekriptif persentase. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 8 anak laki-laki usia 5-6 tahun di Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Miftahussalam. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terjadinya peningkatan kecerdasan emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui permainan congklak dengan indikator (1) mampu mengetahui dan mengekspresikan rasa takut, senang, sedih dan marah dengan persentase 79,1%;(2) mampu menunda keinginannya, mentaati aturan/ perintah dari guru dengan persentase 78%;(3) mampu membina hubungan yang baik dengan orang lain atau berteman dengan siapa saja dengan persentase 77%. Emotional intelligence can help children make good decisions. Children can socialize with other people and understand themselves. However, most children still experience difficulties in managing their emotional abilities, such as being selfish, expressing anger inappropriately, and having poor relationships with their friends. The traditional game of congklak is a game played by two people using a long board with 16 holes and seeds. One of the benefits of this game is that it can develop children's emotional abilities. This research aims to determine the increase in emotional intelligence of children aged 5–6 years through the traditional game of congklak. The research method used is descriptive-quantitative, with data collection techniques in the form of observation and analysis of descriptive data per percentage. The subjects in this study were 8 boys aged 5–6 years at Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Miftahussalam. The results of this research are an increase in the emotional intelligence of children aged 5-6 years through the congklak game with indicators (1) being able to know and express fear, happiness, sadness, and anger with a percentage of 79.1%; (2) being able to postpone their desires, obeying rules/orders from the teacher with a percentage of 78%; and (3) being able to build good relationships with other people or be friends with anyone with a percentage of 77%.
