Abstract

. This study aims to analyze the effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Talent Management on productivity, with Innovation as a mediating variable at PT Nesinak Industries, Cikarang. This quantitative research involves a population of employees in the PT Nesinak Industries area, by collecting data using a questionnaire distributed through an application called Google Form. Data analysis was carried out using the Smart PLS method. The results showed several findings that supported the hypotheses. First, OCB does not contribute significantly to productivity, which is influenced by the lack of recognition and reward for organizational citizenship behavior. Second, Talent Management also did not make a significant contribution to productivity, constrained by the lack of clarity in job appraisal. Third, OCB has no significant effect on innovation due to the lack of clear support for innovation. Fourth, Talent Management is able to make a significant contribution to innovation, but is still hampered by the lack of flexibility in the organization. urthermore, innovation did not make a significant contribution to productivity, influenced by the lack of support from leaders. Furthermore, OCB is unable to make a significant contribution to productivity through innovation due to the lack of leader involvement. Finally, Talent Management was also unable to make a significant contribution to productivity through innovation, affected by the lack of recognition and rewards in an innovative context. This research provides an in-depth understanding of the dynamic relationship between OCB, Talent Management, innovation, and productivity in a manufacturing organization environment. Managerial implications and practical recommendations are also discussed, creating a foundation for continuous improvement at PT Nesinak Industries.

Abstract

Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou is a philosophy of the Minahasa people, meaning that humans live to humanize others. The term "tou" in Si Tou refers to humans as individuals who must first 'live' to be able to enliven others ('tumou tou'). Meanwhile, Mapalus house represents a local wisdom model in the form of collaborative efforts to build houses for the Tounsawang ethnic community in Southeast Minahasa, passed down through generations. Mapalus house consists of 10 to 30 people, and anyone can become a member, regardless of gender. The division of labor, based on the principle of togetherness in mutual construction and enlivening, known as Sitou Timou Tumou Tou, is carried out reciprocally for each house to be built, where the roles of women and men are equal in work responsibilities. The main research question is how Sitou Timou Tumou Tou holds meaning for women in the Mapalus House work, empowering themselves individually and others. The research was conducted in the Tombatu district, Southeast Minahasa Regency, known for its strong Mapalus house tradition, with three villages as research samples: Tombatu 1, Tombatu II, and Betelen. The qualitative method employed focused on observation, interviews, key informants, and analysis of observation and interviews. The research results indicate that the meaning of Si tou timou tumou tou is deeply rooted in women, allowing them to persist in Mapalus house. The understanding of Sitou Timou Tumou Tou empowers women individually, socially, and economically within Mapalus house. This empowerment is attributed to principles such as mutual enlivening, starting with the term 'tou,' signifying individual empowerment before extending to others. Mapalus house provides space and access for women to develop themselves individually in both domestic and public functions. A communal organizational culture is built within Mapalus house, fostering mutual assistance between women and men without subordination and patriarchy. Despite modernization and technological advancements, the meaning of 'tou' in Si Tou Timou Tumou Tou as local wisdom remains strong, upheld as tradition and respected by the entire Tounsawang ethnic community. Consequently, the meaning of Sitou Timou Tumou Tou is powerful within women individually, enabling them in both family (domestic) and community (public) contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of Total Quality Management (TQM) on service quality, mediated by Kaizen, at Pratama Mandrehe Hospital in Nias Barat Regency. The research method employed is quantitative, distributing questionnaires to 60 employees of Pratama Mandrehe Hospital in Nias Barat. The analysis method used is SEM PLS with a bootstrapping technique to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicate that Kaizen has a positive and significant effect on service quality (coefficient = 0.399, p < 0.05), and TQM has a positive and significant effect on Kaizen (coefficient = 0.603, p < 0.05). Furthermore, the findings also demonstrate that TQM influences service quality mediated by Kaizen (coefficient = 0.241, p < 0.05). The practical implications of this study underscore the importance of implementing Kaizen strategies to enhance service quality in hospitals, as well as the need for integrating TQM and Kaizen in overall quality management. This research contributes to the development of quality management practices in the healthcare sector, particularly in the context of hospitals in developing areas.

According to the R-Square test, ethical leadership and person-organization fit influenced employee ethical behavior by 42%, while other variables influenced the remaining 58%. The test results showed that ethical leadership has a positive and significant effect on person-organization fit, an ethical influence and significant effect on the ethical behavior of Credit Cooperative employees in Ende, a positive but non-significant effect on employee ethical behaviour, and a positive but non-significant effect on employee ethical behavior through person-organization fit.

Abstract

Leadership succession in villages is a change of leaders who play a role in continuing and developing village development programs. This phenomenon often faces obstacles due to a lack of clear planning, causing village communities to have difficulty understanding the direction of development and evaluating achievements. The problem formulation in this research is how individual factors influence succession. This research aims to identify and analyze individual factors that influence leadership succession in Tigaserangkai Village, West Nias Regency. The urgency of this research lies in the importance of an in-depth understanding of the factors that influence leadership for better village development planning. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data was analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The research results show that the age and education of village leaders are important indicators of experience, wisdom, and ability to bring about positive change, while integrity, justice, and ethics are considered essential in building community trust. Leaders with a combination of education and strong moral character are considered more effective. In Tigaserangai Village, the balance between the leader's maturity and energy provides an adaptive perspective to change, while age and experience provide stability. The practical implementation of this research is the need to pay attention to the factors of age, education, and moral character in selecting village leaders. The limitation of this research is the limited sample which only covers one village. The next research recommendation is to conduct a comparative study in several villages to obtain broader generalizations regarding individual factors in village leadership succession.
