Abstract

Abrasi merupakan proses alami berupa pengikisan tanah di daerah pantai yang disebabkan oleh gelombang dan arus laut yang merusak, kadang disebut juga erosi pantai. Kerusakan pantai tersebut salah satunya dapat disebabkan oleh terganggunya keseimbangan alam wilayah pesisir. Keausan umumnya disebabkan oleh fenomena alam, tetapi banyak tindakan manusia juga berkontribusi terhadap keausan pantai. Secara sederhana, abrasi adalah pengikisan wilayah pesisir oleh gelombang dan arus yang merusak. Adapun akibat yang ditimbulkan abrasi yaitu penyusutan garis atau area pantai, kerusakan hutan mangrove, permasalahan sampah dan pergeseran mata pencaharian masyarakat sekitar. Dibalik akibat yang ditimbul, ada beberapa hal yang dapat dilakukan dalam mitigasi (upaya) pencegahan dan pengurangan resiko abrasi. Mitigasi terbagi menjadi mitigasi struktural dan mitigasi non-struktural, untuk mitigasi struktural contohnya yaitu penanaman hutan mangrove dan membangun pemecah gelombang dan mitigasi non-struktural menekankan pada aspek perencanaan guna lahan, insentif pemerintah, pelatihan dan pendidikan bagi masyarakat, kesadaran publik. Upaya tersebut tentunya dapat dilakukan oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat sekitar. Termasuk warga sekolah yang berada di pesisir pantai. Guru dapat memberikan pembelajaran mitigasi bencana abrasi dengn mengintegrasikannya kedalam materi Gelombang fisika kelas XI.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in cognitive learning outcomes of class VIII students on pressure material at SMP Negeri 7 Tambang using the Children Learning In Science (CLIS) model. The samples in this study were two classes, namely class VIII-A as the control class and class VIII-B as the experimental class. The type of research used is Experimental Research with a posttest-only control design model. Data collection was carried out using a written test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions of 20 items. The data obtained is then subjected to a normality test and homogeneity test to find out whether the data obtained is homogeneous or not. Furthermore, to find out whether or not there were significant differences in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes, an independent sample test was carried out with a significance level of 0.05. Based on the results of data processing, a significance <0.05 was obtained which indicated that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. it can be concluded that there are significant differences in students' cognitive learning outcomes between classes that use the CLIS model and classes that apply conventional learning models.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the impact of implementing the explicit instruction type’s cooperative learning model to enhance students' comprehension of concepts in vibration, waves, and sound material. This research uses Quasi Experiment Design, by research design is Posttest Nonequivalent Kontrol Group Design. This research conducted at SMPN 7 Tambang, class VIII B students (31 total) and class VIII C students (30 total) served as the study's subjects. A two-tiered multiple choice question with a total of 17 questions served as the data collection method in this study. The average result of students' conceptual understanding when using the cooperative learning model of the explicit teaching type is significantly higher than the average result of students' conceptual understanding when using traditional learning models, with an average difference of 9.80. where the control group received an average score of 48.89 whereas the experimental group received an average score of 58.69.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of guided inquiry-based teaching materials assisted by V-Labs to improve students' science literacy after using the V-Lab (Virtual Laboratory). The method in this study is a quasi-experimental design using a non-equivalent control group design where the sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The selected research sample is X-MIA 1 as the control class and X-MIA 5 as the experimental class. This research was conducted at MAN 2 Deli Serdang in June 2022. The data collection technique used a scientific literacy test. The results showed that there was an effect of guided inquiry-based teaching materials assisted by v-labs in improving students' scientific literacy with the t-test at = 0.05 obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 (p<0.05). The average posttest value is 13.39 and the N-Gain value is 0.69 in the medium category. In addition, it can also be seen an increase in aspects of scientific literacy, namely 82% competence, 63% context and 72% knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to design learning tools based on the ROPES model on the subject of Pressure to Improve Learning Outcomes of Class VIII SMP students and to produce learning tools based on the Ropes model on the material Pressure to Improve Learning Outcomes of Class VIII SMP students. This research was conducted at the Physics Education Laboratory, FKIP, University of Riau. The subject of this study was a physics learning tool based on the ROPES model which was developed including the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and learning achievement tests on pressure material for class VIII SMP. In addition, the test subjects involved in this development research consisted of material experts, namely validators or teams/experts or physics education lecturers who validated ROPES-based science learning tools. The development model used in this study is Research and Development (R&D), with a 4D model. Based on the results of the research data, it was concluded that the learning device using the ROPES model in the pressure material for class VIII SMP was declared valid with an overall average score of 3.43 and was stated to be very valid and feasible to use as a learning tool that helps teachers and students improve student learning outcomes class VIII junior high school students on pressure material and can be used as teaching material in the learning process at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT menggunakan Spinning Wheel terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP tentang getaran, gelombang, dan bunyi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Quasi Experiment Design, dan desain penelitiannya adalah Non-equivalent Posttest only Group Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 7 Tambang, siswa kelas VIII E (total 32) dan siswa kelas VIII F (total 30) dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil ulangan harian yang diberikan kepada siswa pada materi getaran, gelombang, dan bunyi yang terdiri dari 16 soal pilihan ganda digunakan sebagai data penelitian. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan signifikansi (sig, 2-tailed) sebesar 0.011, maka H0 ditolak yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelas. Dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar 9,43, diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT jauh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran konvesional, dengan selisih rata-rata 9,43. Kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai rata-rata 63,33, sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata 53,90.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning tools using the Inquiry Training model on Harmonic Vibration material. The learning tools developed are RPP, LKPD, and Concept Understanding Tests. The research method used is Research and development (R&D) to produce products and test the effectiveness of these products, in this case in the form of learning tools. Research design uses the 4D model, namely Define, Design, Development and Dissemination. The data collection technique was validated by a validator consisting of three people, namely, two supervising lecturers and one discussing lecturer. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the average validity-2 Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and concept understanding tests were 3.43 very high categories with validity criteria, namely valid. The results of the validity-2 RPP were 3.42 very high categories with validity criteria namely valid, the results of the validity-2 LKPD were 3.52 very high categories with validity criteria namely valid, and the results of the validity-2 concept understanding test were 3.36 very categories high with the criteria of validity that is valid. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained from the research conducted, it can be concluded that the development of learning tools oriented to the Inquiry Training learning model on SMA harmonic vibration material was declared valid by the validator with the results obtained in validation-2 being in the very high category and can be used as material teach in the learning process in schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop test instruments based on aspects of scientific literacy indicators. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) research using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. Validation was carried out by 3 expert lecturers, all assessment indicators for each feasibility aspect were declared valid and in the good or appropriate category. The material aspect obtained an average score of 71.1% (valid), the construction aspect obtained an average score of 77.8% (valid), the scientific literacy aspect obtained an average score of 71.1% (valid) and the grammatical aspect obtained a score average 80% (very valid). This shows that from the material aspect, construction, scientific literacy, and grammar as a whole have a valid level with an average score of 75%. The validity stage of the test items and the reliability of the test instrument after the small group trial phase involved 34 class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Tapung. The results of the reliability of the test instrument used the KR 21 formula , which was 0.55 and was in the medium category.

Abstract

Density and porosity tests are used to test and determine the quality of andesite stone resulting from the eruption of Mount Semeru. Andesite stone is used as an asphalt mixture in the PG Jatiroto area. The easy collapse of the asphalt road is the main factor of this research. The results of the density and porosity tests that have been carried out show quite good results. Where the results of the density test are in accordance with the indicator values ​​on igneous rock. This means that the stone is sturdy enough to be used as an asphalt mixture. While the results of the andsit porosity test also showed good results. Therefore, these two tests can help researchers to find out the quality of the andesite stones used in the Jatiroto PG area. This andesite stone has a smooth texture. The size of the mineral grains is small and the distance is not too tight. The cavities are not too big so that there is still fluid to be absorbed into it.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of students with learning models using creative problem solving learning models in the material Elasticity Properties of Materials and To find out the cognitive learning outcomes of students using creative problem solving learning models in the material Elasticity Properties of Materials for class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kubu with class who apply conventional learning. The research was conducted on students in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kubu on the material elasticity of the material, the classes taken were class XI IPA 2, which consisted of 28 students and class XI IPA 1, which consisted of 33 students where the two classes consisted of an experimental class and a control class. . The data collection instrument was in the form of a post-test results test for understanding the concept of material elasticity properties for class XI high school which consisted of 12 objective questions. The type of research used in this study was a quasi experiment and the research design used in this study was the Posttest Only Control Group Design. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with Posttest Only Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The independent sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 21 shows that the creative problem solving learning model has an effect on students' cognitive learning. The students' cognitive learning outcomes in the experimental class were better than the control class. Furthermore, the average value of the experimental class was 81,85 and that of the control class was 73,48. These results indicate that the creative problem solving learning model is effective on students' cognitive learning outcomes.
