Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the management of madrasa culture in shaping students with character at MAS Amaliyah Sunggal. Forming the character of students in the madrasa environment can be through the culture of the madrasa, because through the culture of the madrasa which is applied together, character can be formed through exemplary and good examples. The management of madrasa culture at MAS Amaliyah Sunggal has an impact on the formation of student character. This is due to the management of the madrasa culture that has been prepared by the madrasa manager in order to form students with character. This research uses a qualitative research type with a descriptive method where the data collected is in the form of words, pictures, and numbers, even if the data in the form of numbers is only supporting data obtained through interviews, field notes, photos and personal documents or various other data.

Abstract

This article examines the implications of globalization on Islamic education. Data collection methods used through the study of literature. Data is obtained through literature in the form of books, journals and online sources. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis where this method is appropriate to observe the phenomenon that is happening. The results of the discussion show that Islamic Education has new challenges and opportunities in facing globalization. So that an effort is needed, including by improving the quality of educators, reforming the subject matter, the need for technology, internalizing religious values, and collaborating with the community. Some of these efforts need to be done in order to continue Islamic Education according to the times.

Abstract

The architecture of traditional Indonesian houses is a very important cultural heritage of this nation. Traditional houses not only function as a place to live, but also as a representation of cultural values that describe people's behavior. However, now traditional house architecture is starting to be marginalized by many modern house designs or concepts, so creative efforts are needed to re-popularize traditional Indonesian house architecture. Grha Block is a block-based toy made in the form of traditional Indonesian house architecture with the aim of popularizing the shape of Indonesian traditional houses. The steps taken to run a business, namely: business planning, production, marketing and business development. Grha Block carries three types of architecture, namely Rumah Gadang (West Sumatra), Rumah Joglo (Central Java) and Rumah Tongkonan (South Sulawesi) and is equipped with information about the culture and traditional houses concerned which can be accessed via barcodes on product packaging. Grha Block has sold 9 units in 21 days with a turnover of Rp3.148.000,00 while the break-even point is 17 units in 81 days with a turnover of Rp6.770.000.00 Grha Block can be a means of cultural education for the community through its unique and attractive form, which has business value and deserves to be developed..

Abstract

TThe low interest in saving students at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru at the Mini School Bank raises several hypotheses regarding knowledge of financial literacy, interest in saving and the influence of teacher competence. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher competence in increasing students' financial literacy knowledge at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. As well as the indirect effect of teacher competence on interest in saving through students' financial literacy knowledge at the Mini School Bank of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The method in this research is to use a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of this study are that there is a significant effect of teacher competence on students' financial literacy knowledge at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, there is an indirect effect of teacher competence on interest in saving through students' financial literacy knowledge at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The conclusion of this study is that the hypothesis in this study is accepted

Abstract

In Indonesia, character education first appeared since 2010 to be implemented at all levels of education, from elementary school to university. This is indicated by the presence of character value content in the Lesson Plan (RPP) and learning syllabus. However, these efforts are considered to have not been able to fully deliver the nation's generation into dignified individuals, because the output of educational graduates produced is only limited to giving birth to a high intellectual level but good character values and personality attitudes have not been seen in the life of the nation and state. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were school principals, deputy heads of student affairs and teachers. The research data were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the organization, implementation, evaluation and follow-up of the implementation of policies to strengthen character education related to efforts to instill nationalism values have been carried out with an integration process through intra-curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular and school culture activities. Suggestions from this study are to continue to increase the intensity of supervision of the implementation of PPK (Strengthening Character Education), improve the quality of PPK activities in an effort to instill character values in students.

Abstract

To create a good quality of generation, education must be carried out from an early age, in this case through Early Childhood Education (PAUD), namely education aimed at children from birth to the age of six. Quality education is not only seen from the quality of its graduates, but also includes how schools are able to meet customer needs in accordance with applicable quality standards. Principals are required to have the right leadership and strategy to increase the professionalism of teaching staff in their schools, so they are able to create a conducive school climate, provide advice to school members, provide encouragement to all teaching staff and implement an interesting learning model. In addition to carrying out its functions, the principal has the task of developing a strategy and mission so that he knows which way to go and knows how to get there in order to achieve the operational goals of an educational institution. In improving the quality of education the principal must improve the quality of a teacher in order to achieve a better quality of education. Make a program in one academic year, in the form of an annual program and a semester program. Adding infrastructure so that the teaching and learning process can run well.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology also affects entrepreneurial activities. An entrepreneur will definitely update or follow any existing developments so that the business is not out of date. The transactions carried out also varied. These transaction activities certainly use a variety of payment instruments, ranging from cash to non-cash. A person's preference for something is related to the reasoning process that is built in explaining the reasons for his liking for something. Preference in this sense will certainly be related to a person's opportunity to achieve something he is interested in. This type of research is descriptive research. Descriptive research is research that includes data collection by testing hypotheses or answering questions about the latest status of research subjects. From the interviews that have been conducted, it can be interpreted that entrepreneurs who choose to use cash only think that using cash only can help, those who use cash state that if the use of cash payment is in the form of cash, the form of the money can be confirmed.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Dar Al-Raudhah Islamic Boarding School. This study aims to determine and analyze 1) the effect of work discipline on the performance of dar al-raudhah Islamic boarding school teachers 2) the effect of motivation on the performance of dar al-raudhah Islamic boarding school teachers 3) the effect of the work environment on the performance of dar al-raudhah Islamic boarding school teachers 4) the influence of work discipline, motivation and work environment on the performance of Dar Al-Raudhah Islamic boarding school teachers. The population of this study were all teachers who were the 44 samples for the study. Data were taken from a field survey using a questionnaire with a sampling method using saturated sampling. This study uses a quantitative approach with the data to be analyzed must meet the validity and reliability tests, and also test the classical assumptions first, namely the normality test, heteroscedasticity test, and multicollinearity test. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study partially show 1) work discipline has an effect on the performance of Dar Al-Raudhah Islamic Boarding School teachers, 2) motivation has an effect on the performance of Dar Al-Raudhah Islamic Boarding School teachers 3) work environment has no effect on the performance of Dar Al-Raudhah Islamic Boarding School teachers. The results simultaneously show that 4) work discipline, motivation and work environment affect the performance of Dar Al-Raudhah Islamic Boarding School teachers

Abstract

Teacher performance is very necessary for the progress of the nation and this of course relies on the teacher. This of course requires special assessment and attention. This researcher aims to determine the effect of education, work experience and motivation on teacher performance at one of vocational school. The research method used quantitative methods. The variables used in this study were education, work experience and motivation as independent variables and teacher performance as the dependent variable. In the data collection process, it was carried out using a questionnaire which was distributed to 37 respondents, namely all vocational school teachers. The data obtained was then processed using the multiple linear regression analysis method with IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software. The results showed that education had a significant effect on teacher performance, work experience and motivation had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

Abstract: In order for the potential of students to develop, an effective learning method is needed. Therefore, this research describes how the implementation of Muhasabah An-Nafs in the learning process and whether this method can help students of Madrasah Aliyah Miftahussalam Medan to recognize and discover their potential. In this study, researchers used a type of descriptive qualitative approach which contains complex descriptions and views of respondents. Collection of data sources taken by researchers based on observational data, interviews, and documentation, then concluded through an analysis model with stages; data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The first result obtained from this study is that Muhasabah An-Nafs has a good impact on students and for the school, so that teachers and students have good self-control and can recognize themselves so that they become quality graduates. The results of the two studies with Muhasabah An-Nafs can also help students recognize their own potential by opening their horizons of thinking to be wider so that they reap achievements from the potential they have.
