Abstract

This research will explore the type or form of structure for managing the organization of the Arabic language camp program of the Fourth Sub-Government Board of the Arabic Language Students Association (ITHLA) in Indonesia, and the steps in managing its organization. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data is collected using interview and documentation techniques. The researchers obtain data from the former Chairman of the Board of Directors and one of the committee members. After collecting the data, the data is analyzed through; Display data, reduce data. As for the results from this research, it is concluded that the type of organization used in the Arabic language camp program is a functional organizational type by grouping committees that have the same skills and tasks into work groups (one department) and in the department work on the basis of job placement. In this research there are several language programs; Public speaking competition, Arabic debate competition, book reading competition, Arabic singing competition, Arabic poetry reading competition, National Scientific Forum, International Scientific Forum, and activating the Arabic language environment during the program process.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of Arabic language learning in improving the moderate character of students Ma'had Sunan Ampel Al-Aly, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University, Malang. The research method uses a qualitative approach. Data is collected through interviews, observations and documents. The research object is students Ma'had Sunan Ampel Al-Aly, with a sample of thirty students. The results of the research show Arabic language learning at Ma'had Sunan Ampel Al-Aly Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang significantly improves students' moderate character through ta'lim afkar, ta'lim al-Quran, and shabahul lughah activities which specifically contribute to strengthening moderate attitudes, in the form of values of tolerance, religious commitment, non-violence and friendliness to local culture. This finding is significant because it establishes the specific function that Arabic language learning programs have in developing moderate character. It also offers an empirical basis for educational strategies that effectively promote diversity values in the classroom.

Abstract

Singing is one of the learning methods that aims to help students master the material well. In addition to methods, media is also very important to improve the mastery of students’ memory. One of them is flash card media. Flash card media which is a card containing images, text, or symbols that remind or guide students to something related to the image. At QEC Asy-Syukuriyah using flash cards that measure 8 x 12 cm, because flash cards usually measure 8 x 12 cm or can be adjusted to the size of the class faced by the educator. With the combination of the use of singing methods and flash card media, making the learning process more interesting and further stimulating students mastery of Arabic mufradat material. Based on initial observations, the lack of mastery of students of Arabic vocabulary material at QEC Asy-Syukuriyah Bandung City, the efforts made are to apply a combination of singing methods and flash card media. This research uses qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques were interviews, documentation studies and observations. The data analysis technique carried out by researchers is descriptive qualitative data analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that with the combined application of singing method and flash card media in mastering the Arabic vocabulary of students has increased significantly, because it is proven that students can master Arabic vocabulary well, one of which is through Arabic language material about fingers using flash cards and accompanied by the song Heli Guk Guk Guk.song Heli Guk Guk Guk.

Abstract

The high value of literature is not only found in the Qur’an, but can also be found in the poems created by Arab poets. At the time of the Abbasid era there was a poet who had a high ability to imagine, every poem he had contained a deep philosophical meaning, he was Abū al-ʿAlāʾ al-Ma‘arrī. One of his poems is ‘Dhaj’atu al-Mauti Raqdatun’ which discusses human life and death. This poem is the result of Abu Ala's lamentation after the death of his beloved teacher. The sentences contained in this poem can make the listener dissolve in their beauty. The purpose of this study is to reveal all the beauty of the sentences in the lament this poem by analyzing the science of balaghah precisely in the study of badi'. And one can know how to beautify the kalam by emphasizing the sentences used and the meaning contained therein. This research uses literature study with documentation method for data search, and descriptive method for analysis. After conducting a study in this poem, 115 sentences were found that contained the rules of sentence beauty in it, and 31 forms of muh}assinât al-lafz}iyyah, which took the form of jinâs, saja‘, radd al-‘ajz ‘ala al-sh{adr, and tasyri’. And 23 sentences of muh}assinât al-ma’nawiyyah.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to find out how teacher competency in education management, teacher professional skills, and learning measurement can help make education better. A detailed qualitative method was used for this study. Some of the ways that data is gathered are through interviews, observations, and writing things down. Methods for looking at data, like collecting research materials, making field notes and writing them down, talking to relevant people, using a control trail (data fit test), and triple checking the validity of the data. The results showed that teachers were good at following the directions when planning lessons, making lesson plans, putting together curricula, planning media and learning tools, and planning assessments of learning. The way the teacher teaches is based on mastering the material, structures, concepts, and scientific ways of thinking that support the subjects being taught. The teacher then tests the students' learning based on predetermined learning objectives, which include character tests to see how well they understand concepts, skill tests, and attitude tests about learning. This test is conducted after each subject.

Abstract

Arabic has four skills necessary mandatory mastered by students, and Arabic speaking skill becomes the most prominent skill. In learning Arabic speaking skills, student needs motivation from the teacher to master this skill. However not all teacher has the ability to instill the motivation to learn. That's what makes the students feel the difficult in learning Arabic speaking skills. One of the teacher's abilities to finish the problem is high self-efficacy. Therefore, this research is intended to teacher self-efficacy and pragmatic to help the problems of learning Arabic skills. To see if teacher self-efficacy can play a role in learning Arabic speaking skills, this research was presented using descriptive qualitative methods. The data is collected by field survey on teacher self-efficacy during the learning process and listening method by listening to the teacher’s speaking during the learning process to obtain oral data. Based on research results, the majority of teachers struggle to improve their self-efficacy in terms of motivating students to learn Arabic speaking skills. Pragmatic studies can assess teacher’s words in motivating the students, because that’s what can influence student’s interest in learning Arabic speaking skill. The teacher improves their self-efficacy, not only through motivating students but also by improving their ability to organize the class while teaching.

Abstract

The objective of this article is to ascertain the function of Arabic organizations in the development of the competence of Arabic teachers and Arabic student universities. The implementation of distance learning through electronic learning has been significantly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The data for this study was collected through interviews with all of the chiefs of Arabic organizations in Indonesia, utilizing the qualitative method. IMLA Indonesia, F-MGMP Bahasa Arab, ITHLA, and IMASASI are national Arabic organizations that are influential in the development and promotion of the complexities of Arabic teaching and learning in Indonesia. This is where Arab organizations are working diligently to coordinate virtual training, seminars, workshops, activities, treatments, and competitions to enhance the skills of Arabic language teachers and students, as well as to enhance their capacity to conduct effective and efficient distance learning. This research has demonstrated that the programs of IMLA Indonesia, F-MGMP Arabic, ITHLA, and IMASASI have the potential to enhance the quality of Arabic language education in Indonesia by providing competent solutions to the challenges of the Covid-19 era and the future of digital Arabic language learning.

Abstract

In the current digital era, educational methodologies are evolving at an unprecedented pace, making it crucial to explore innovative teaching tools. Cartoons, with their engaging and interactive nature, present a compelling medium for Arabic language learning, particularly for young children. This research aims to describe the need for Arabic language education development by exploring learning media using cartoons. The method utilized in this study is systematic literature review, employing meta-synthesis procedures. The research findings indicate that the use of cartoons in Arabic language learning in the digital era positively impacts student engagement and understanding of learning materials. Overall, this study underscores the significance of integrating cartoons into Arabic language education to cater to the needs of elementary school children in today's digital age.

Abstract

Human creativity extensively uses language to transform values, particularly through picture storybooks. "Qissat Asḥāb al-Fīl" (The Story of the Elephant Army) by Muhammad Abbas Al-Mubarak narrates the Asḥāb al-Fīl story, embedding various values, notably assertiveness. This study employs a descriptive qualitative analysis using content analysis to examine assertive characteristics in the storybook. Through denotative and connotative approaches, thirteen sentences exhibiting assertive traits were identified; eight sentences describe courage, one sentence describes responsibility, and four sentences describe desire. The findings indicate that "Qissat Asḥāb al-Fīl" promotes assertiveness, crucial for children's character development. This research underscores the potential of storybooks in fostering assertive behavior by enhancing readers' understanding of communication and recognizing linguistic nuances that convey assertiveness. Thus, this study contributes to the discourse on the educational value of storybooks in character building.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of multiculturalism and gender values in the Arabic language learning process at Islamic universities. Using qualitative research methods, the study analyzes learning content through observations and interviews. The findings reveal that multicultural and gender values are embedded in the textbooks used and are also reflected in the approaches, strategies, methods, and techniques employed by lecturers. These values are consistently emphasized throughout the Arabic language learning process. The results of this study provide valuable insights for further research on Arabic language education, particularly in the context of multiculturalism and gender equality. Unlike previous research, this study simultaneously addresses these two critical issues in education, highlighting that multicultural education cannot be fully effective without also considering gender equality as an integral part of the learning process.
