Abstract

In the present day, where technology aligns with the advancement of time, a crucial challenge in the field of education is how to link the curriculum to the needs of the era along with its development. Multiliteracy pedagogy is expected to offer a new perspective to address the demands of the 21st century. The purpose of this research is to examine comprehensively and critically by relating relevant theories to the presence of multiliteracy pedagogy for learning based on the independent curriculum, while also addressing the challenges or demands of the times. The method used is literature study, employing techniques for gathering information and references related to the topic discussed in the research. This study concludes that multiliteracy pedagogy is considered highly relevant in promoting high-order thinking skills, critical thinking, complex problem-solving, and enhancing digital literacy, creativity, and collaboration—essential aspects in the development of the 21st century.

Abstract

In achieving the goal of Golden Indonesia 2045, not only is economic progress the main focus, but also the development of strong and integrity-filled character. The foundation of character education for Indonesia's golden generation is a desire in the shift towards successful education in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to review from a critical pedagogical perspective the importance of reorienting character education towards Golden Indonesia 2045. The research method used is a literature study, which is a research technique based on collecting data from literature relevant to the research topic, then analyzing and interpreting it to gain a better understanding of the topic. The results of the discussion from this research are the challenges of character decadence faced by the Indonesian nation in achieving Golden Indonesia 2045, the correlation between Golden Indonesia 2045 and critical pedagogy, and the envisioned future Indonesian human. By strengthening character values through a critical and inclusive approach, it is hoped that the future generation will become agents of change who positively contribute to the nation's progress and realize the vision of Indonesia as a developed and civilized country by 2045.

Abstract

The emergence of a differentiated learning at Aisyiyah Superior Elementary School is motivated by the implementation of learning in elementary schools that has not shown effectiveness in appreciating the diversity and potential of students. The purpose of this study is to develop a differentiated learning model that is in accordance with the Independent Curriculum pattern and identify various factors that can affect the effectiveness of the implementation of the differentiated learning model in order to increase students' understanding material at Aisyiyah Superior Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative type of research. The results of this study develop a differentiated learning. Lessons by integrating the diversity and potential of students in the Independent Curriculum. Differentiated subjects with the Independent Curriculum pattern at Aisyiah Superior Elementary School Bantul went well, supported by adequate teacher preparation and training even though there were obstacles in understanding students' interests and talents properly. The implication is that this learning is able to accommodate various student potentials but also poses challenges for teachers in applying varied methods and switching from a teacher-centered to a student-centered approach.

Abstract

Curriculum organization plays an important role in organizing the learning process, so that a deep understanding of it makes it easier for educators to achieve learning goals. This study aims to further analyze the organization of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum, including its forms, advantages and disadvantages, main principles, factors that need to be considered, and organizational procedures. This study is a literature study with a content analysis approach. The results of the study indicate that there are several forms of PAI curriculum organization that are in accordance with the characteristics and needs of Islamic educational institutions, namely: separate subject curriculum, correlated curriculum, broad fields curriculum, and integrated curriculum. The main principles that must be considered include integration, balance, freedom, equality, sustainability, and welfare. Important factors in organizing the PAI curriculum include scope, sequence, continuity, balance, and integration. The procedures that need to be considered include six approaches: reorganization based on learning resources, patchwork, activity analysis, opinion surveys, social functions and roles, and student interests and needs. This study provides important insights to improve the effectiveness of the PAI curriculum in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Learning media innovation relates to the process of creating learning media with novelty to provide a new revolution in teaching and learning activities. This process depends on the perception of teachers at the primary school level, which can be defined as a person’s understanding or thought of an object that will be interpreted through the five senses. The purpose of this research is to find out how elementary school teachers perceive learning media innovations with digital games in implementing of independent curriculum. This research is qualitative in nature and uses descriptive methods with the research subject being teachers in one of the private elementary schools located in Bayan District, Purworejo. The interview technique was used to collect data from teachers to find out their perceptions specifically. The data obtained will be analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique. The results showed that teachers agreed with the existence of digital games as one possible way to explore learning media innovations to support the implementation of the independent curriculum. Teachers responses to digital games are thought to be able to follow the needs of children who like to play and can minimize the use of digital games that do not contain learning elements so that they are very practical to be integrated in teaching and learning activities. It can be concluded that the perception of teachers who accept the existence of digital games as a learning media innovation is the first step to be implemented in the teaching and learning process both online, hybrida, and face-to-face so that it can keep up the times.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of audiovisual multimedia in learning moral beliefs in MTs N 2 Surakarta, with the aim of improving student learning achievement. The method used is a qualitative case study, which involves direct observation in the classroom and interviews with teachers of moral beliefs. The results of the study showed that the use of audiovisual media, such as animation and video, significantly increased student engagement, comprehension, and material resistance. Despite obstacles such as time, technical, and unstable internet connections, supporting factors such as adequate technological infrastructure, teacher skills, and high student interest in learning contribute positively to learning effectiveness. This study concludes that multimedia can effectively improve students' academic performance in moral beliefs, making learning more concrete and accessible. Future prospects include improving technological infrastructure, teacher training and creating a conducive learning environment, as well as means for further research to explore, methods and other learning media.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the contribution of Imam al-Ghazali’s thoughts to the development of the Islamic Education curriculum in the digital era. In the context of complex digitalization, Islamic education plays a crucial role in shaping individuals who are intelligent, knowledgeable, and understand religious values. Al-Ghazali emphasizes the integration of worldly and spiritual knowledge as well as the importance of applying knowledge in daily life. This research employs a qualitative approach through literature review to analyze various relevant sources. The findings indicate that al-Ghzali’s educational concepts are highly relevant to contemporary educational challenges, offering a comprehensive framework for designing a curriculum that not only imparts knowledge but also instill moral values. By integrating cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, the proposed curriculum aims to create individuals who are not only academically intellegent but also possess a high sense of social responsibility, along with a personality that is faithful, devout, and ethical. The contributions of al-Ghazali’s thoughts provide a foundation for developing a relevant and meaningful Islamic education curriculum in today’s multicultural society.

Abstract

Kurangnya kemampuan menulis cerita pendek pada mata pelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra indonesia di kalangan siswa SMPN 1 Siak Hulu menjadi penyebab utama penelitian ini dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh pemanfaatan aplikasi Wattpad terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita pendek siswa SMPN 1 Siak Hulu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024. Dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Siak Hulu, Jl. Kubang Jaya, Kecamatan Siak Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre eksperimen dengan jenis one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 33 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian adalah uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis cerita pendek sebelum diberikan perlakuan menggunakan Wattpad diperoleh nilai rata-rata berjumlah 67,61. Sementara itu, hasil penelitian tentang kemampuan menulis cerita pendek menggunakan aplikasi Wattpad menunjukkan skor rata-rata 81,09. Berdasarkan tujuan penelitian dan analisis data diperoleh taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, dengan Thitung > Ttabel atau 5,856 > 1,695. Dengan demikian, Ha diterima, sedangkan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan aplikasi Wattpad berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita pendek siswa SMPN 1 Siak Hulu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of economics teachers in improving students' financial literacy, as well as to identify the challenges, constraints, and strategies implemented by schools. The subjects of the study include grade X social science students, economics teachers, and curriculum staff. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, and data collection techniques include structured interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model with the aid of NVivo 15 software. The results show that teachers play a significant role in enhancing financial literacy through teaching, motivation, and training. However, challenges faced include limited time, lack of student interest, and the absence of a specific financial literacy curriculum. The school also implements strategies such as cooperation with Bank Danamon, seminars, workshops, and the P5 Entrepreneurship program to support financial literacy. It is recommended that schools strengthen financial literacy programs to produce financially literate students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) guru kelas II di SD Kristen Petra 10 Surabaya melalui penggunaan Instructional Coaching. TPACK merupakan kerangka kerja yang mengintegrasikan pengetahuan teknologi, pedagogi, dan konten untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Instructional Coaching adalah pendekatan pembinaan yang melibatkan kolaborasi antara guru dan pelatih untuk memperbaiki praktik mengajar dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan desain spiral yang terdiri dari empat tahap: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua guru kelas II sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui proses Instructional Coaching, terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada kompetensi TPACK guru. Para guru menjadi lebih mahir dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam pembelajaran, memahami bagaimana teknologi dapat mendukung pedagogi yang efektif, serta meningkatkan pemahaman konten mata pelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Instructional Coaching merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi TPACK guru kelas II di SD Kristen Petra 10 Surabaya. Rekomendasi diberikan kepada sekolah untuk terus menerapkan dan mengembangkan kompetensi TPACK guru melalui program coaching ini guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.
