Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi loyalitas tenaga pendidik dan implikasinya terhadap pengembangan SMPN 4 Satu Atap Karangjambu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap tenaga pendidik dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim organisasi, kepuasan kerja, dan kompensasi merupakan faktor utama yang memengaruhi loyalitas tenaga pendidik. Iklim organisasi yang positif, ditunjang oleh komunikasi yang terbuka dan kolaborasi antara kepala sekolah dan guru, berperan besar dalam meningkatkan loyalitas. Kompensasi sudah memenuhi standar, meskipun demikian masih ada harapan ada peningkatan dari kompensasi. Namun, faktor suasana kerja dan kesempatan pengembangan tetap lebih dominan dalam meningkatkan loyalitas. Kepuasan kerja juga terbukti signifikan, dengan tenaga pendidik merasa dihargai dan diberi ruang untuk berinovasi. Walaupun jarak dan perubahan kebijakan menjadi faktor eksternal yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam pemindahan, hal ini tidak berpengaruh besar terhadap keputusan tenaga pendidik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan loyalitas, manajemen sekolah harus memperhatikan hubungan interpersonal yang baik dan kebijakan pengembangan profesional. Prospek penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi lebih lanjut hubungan antara budaya organisasi dan loyalitas, serta menilai faktor eksternal di sekolah dengan fasilitas terbatas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan kerja yang dimiliki oleh alumni SMK Jurusan Tata Busana di Malang dalam menghadapi tuntutan dan kebutuhan industri fashion. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini berfokus pada jenis keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di industri, kesenjangan antara keterampilan yang diajarkan di sekolah dan yang dibutuhkan di dunia kerja, serta peluang kerja bagi alumni dalam industri fashion. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mendalam tentang keterampilan kerja alumni SMK Tata Busana dan relevansinya dengan kebutuhan industri fashion di Malang. Penelitian dilakukan di tiga lokasi yakni Samsuga, Yece, dan Falasifa di Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa industri fashion di Malang memiliki permintaan tinggi terhadap keterampilan teknis seperti menjahit dan desain, serta keterampilan interpersonal dan kewirausahaan. Kesenjangan keterampilan yang ditemukan memberikan gambaran tentang perlunya peningkatan kurikulum SMK untuk menyiapkan lulusan yang lebih siap kerja. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan bagi institusi pendidikan kejuruan, khususnya dalam menyesuaikan kurikulum dengan kebutuhan industri fashion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis representasi ideologi generasi Z dalam konten TikTok yang diproduksi oleh akun @rianfahardhi menggunakan pendekatan Analisis Wacana Kritis (AWK) Ruth Wodak. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi ideologi yang terkandung dalam konten, memahami pengaruh konteks sosial-budaya terhadap produksi wacana, dan mengeksplorasi interaksi antara kekuasaan dan ideologi di platform TikTok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis, mengandalkan data berupa video TikTok, deskripsi konten, dan interaksi pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ideologi yang ditampilkan mencerminkan nilai inklusivitas, keberanian mengekspresikan identitas, dan kepedulian terhadap isu sosial dan lingkungan. Konteks sosial-budaya, baik lokal maupun global, memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk strategi diskursif seperti nominasi, predikasi, dan argumentasi. Selain itu, algoritma TikTok berperan sebagai gatekeeper dalam mengatur distribusi dan daya jangkau wacana, menunjukkan interaksi antara kekuasaan digital dan produksi ideologi.Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa TikTok bukan hanya platform hiburan, tetapi juga ruang untuk memproduksi dan mereproduksi ideologi generasi Z, yang dipengaruhi oleh dinamika sosial, budaya, dan teknologi. Temuan ini memperkaya kajian tentang media sosial, generasi Z, dan analisis wacana kritis dalam konteks digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji terkait implementasi nilai-nilai filsafat pendidikan dalam mengemban tugas secara profesional pada guru sekolah dasar di Jabodetabek. Profesionalisme guru memiliki peranan penting terhadap keberhasilan belajar siswa. Untuk itu guru dituntut mampu menjunjung tinggi dan mengimplementasikan sikap profesionalismenya sebagai seorang pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik random sampling dalam bentuk angket dengan model skala likert. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara(daring) melalui wadah GoogleForm sejak September-November, Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa dari data angket survei implementasi nilai-nilai filsafat pendidikan terhadap profesionalisme dalam mengemban tugas bagi guru sekolah dasar, dengan sampel penelitian ini 88 guru, dengan dua indikator profesionalisme dan kode etik sebagai acuan menunjukan sikap profesionalisme dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase yang ditunjukan dari masing-masing indikator dengan skala persentase tertinggi adalah 100%, yaitu ditinjau pada aspek profesionalisme menunjukan persentase sikap profesionalitas dengan kategori sedang sebesar 54,7%, ditinjau pada aspek kode etik menunjukan persentase sikap profesionalitas dengan kategori sedang sebesar 57%. Maka dengan demikian berdasarkan data temuan terkait implementasi nilai-nilai filsafat pendidikan terhadap profesionalisme dalam mengemban tugas bagi guru sekolah dasar menunjukan sikap profesionalisme dengan kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukan perlu adanya peningkatan motivasi bagi guru dalam upaya pengimplementasian sikap profesionalisme melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai filsafat pendidikan sebagai pedoman profesionalisme guru, baik dalam bentuk program pembinaan guru dan pelatihan kepemimpinan guru.

Abstract

Character education is increasingly recognized as a critical component in developing individuals who are not only academically proficient but also possess strong moral and ethical values. This study examines the integration of social studies, character education, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within Japan's educational system, focusing on how these elements equip students with the skills and values necessary to address contemporary global challenges. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study combines field research and literature analysis. The literature review provided a foundation for analyzing the issues under study, while field research was conducted from November 17 to 24, 2024, in Tokyo City and Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. The findings reveal that 17 SDGs components are embedded within Japan's educational practices, including competency in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Moreover, character education in Japanese schools significantly contributes to nurturing individuals with strong ethical and responsible values, empowering them to act as agents of change in addressing the complexities of a globalized world, particularly in responding to environmental issues. Integrating character education and social studies with the SDGs is identified as a strategic framework for shaping a better future for younger generations. This model offers valuable insights for educational systems worldwide to consider in their efforts to enhance character education.

Abstract

There are still issues with interpretation regarding educators' attitudes regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum in educational units. Therefore, it's critical to understand how prospective teachers interpret the independent curriculum. The research's objective is to gain a thorough understanding of students' opinions regarding school fieldwork by analyzing and applying the autonomous curriculum from a gender perspective. This study employed a quantitative approach. methodologies for gathering data via interviews and questionnaires. Purposive sampling was the sampling strategy employed, taking into account students who attend schools that have adopted the independent curriculum. Thirteen samples total were used, and the practice sites were SMAN 1, SMAN 3, SMAN 5, and SMAN 6 in Semarang City. Statistical data and inferential data from precondition and hypothesis testing are analyzed. The study's findings, which had average scores of 74.58 and 71.02 in the good category, revealed that male and female students had different perspectives about the presence of teaching modules in the independent curriculum. Regarding the profile of strengthening Pancasila, male and female students' opinions are identical, with average scores in the good category being 66.15 and 66.98, respectively. As a result, it's critical to maximize the amount of time spent having in-depth conversations about the independent curriculum with aspiring teachers and current educators.

Abstract

The portrait of our national education can be said to have not run optimally according to its objectives. Compared to achieving the quality of human resources of developed countries, we must admit that we are still far behind. Even compared to neighboring countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam, we are also lagging. This study aims to explore and map four problems for some teachers that are considered a mental burden in carrying out their duties as educators. These four issues are bureaucratic support, the dilemma of curriculum changes, the challenges of the digital era, and the socio-economic welfare system. This study is descriptive and qualitative with more emphasis on the authors' views, assisted by previous studies or research from various journals as a comparative reference or reinforcement of this study, and by utilizing reports from other official sources. The results show that bureaucracy, curriculum, digital transformation, and socio-economic welfare significantly affect teachers' quality. This study concludes that many things need to be addressed, ranging from bureaucratic reform in the education sector, curriculum implementation that does not burden the administrative duties of teachers, the ability of teachers to implement digital transformation, and improving the socio-economic welfare of teachers. It is hoped that the results of this study will also become reference material for further research, become a concern for the government in making decisions, and become one of the references for teachers in improving their competence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the insufficient oral English proficiency of educators and educational staff at SMP Kr. MDC Surabaya which is attributed to embarrassment and fear of making mistakes, the perception that English is difficult, and the previous English training ineffectiveness. This research aims to show that the use of eclectic methods and mentoring can enhance the oral English proficiency of educators and educational staff at that school. The eclectic method used in this research combined the behaviorist, cognitive, and constructivist theories. Additionally, to support these three theories, the researcher employed Communicative Language Teaching and Cooperative Language Learning. The researcher also incorporated mentoring to enhance the motivation and confidence of the subjects. This research utilized the School Action Research (SAR) method following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted over two cycles. The analysis results comparing the research subjects’ scores on the Initial Data Assessment Rubric, End of Cycle 1 and 2 Results demonstrate an improvement in the scores of the research subjects in which the score for Subject DE increased from 40 to 60, Subject NS increased from 40 to 63, Subject FK increased from 70 to 83, and Subject YF increased from 53 to 73. This indicates that the eclectic method and mentoring were effective in enhancing the scores of all four research subjects.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the transformation of the mindset of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at MTs Al-Barokah Robotika with a focus on developing professionalism. The research background is based on the need for in-depth understanding of PAI teacher mindset problems and the urgency of presenting innovative solutions amidst the dynamics of modern education. Qualitative research methods were carried out through case studies at MTs Al-Barokah Robotika by collecting data through in-depth interviews and observations of PAI teachers and school principals. A comprehensive literature review supports the choice of this method, while the research instrument is designed to capture aspects of teaching experience, professionalism, mindset transformation, and application of technology in the context of Islamic religious education. The research results reveal the positive impact of the transformation of PAI teachers' mindsets, manifested in changes to dynamic teaching approaches, inclusive teacher-student interactions, and increased student academic achievement. Teacher and student satisfaction, together with the madrasah's positive reputation, contributes to creating an educational environment that is competitive and relevant in the modern era. The research conclusions confirm that efforts to improve teacher mindsets play a significant role in achieving the goals of quality education at MTs Al-Barokah Robotika. Recommendations involve adopting an open attitude to change, developing openness to lifelong learning, collaboration, and a reflective mindset.

Abstract

This article aims to describe a critical review of social studies in Indonesia and New Zealand. This topic is intended to provide an explanation that focuses on factual integrative approaches, and is influential in social studies learning in two countries. The method used in preparing this article is literature study. The author uses search engines researchgate, scholar, and academia. The results of this research show that the integration of social sciences into one field of social studies was implemented in the 1974 curriculum for 8 pilot school development projects (PPSP). Judging from the scope of social studies in schools, the presentation of social studies learning is different at the elementary and middle school levels. The practice of an integrative approach to social studies learning in Indonesia focuses on students' ability to understand social concepts to solve problems. Meanwhile, in New Zealand the focus is on involving students as citizens so that they become agents of change in society. Based on this statement, the existence of the Social Sciences Curriculum means an integrative approach is intended so that students understand their function as intelligent citizens.
