Abstract

This research is entitled The Role of Youtube Media in the Online Period in Arabic Speaking Learning for Class VII.1 Students of MTsN 2 Bulukumba which aims to determine the role of YouTube media in helping Arabic learning activities online and find out the obstacles and solutions faced by teachers and students in class VII. 1 MTsN Bulukumba. This research includes qualitative research with qualitative descriptive methods. This research approach is a scientific study approach used in discussing research objects according to academic relevance and the author's department/study program which is correlated with the use of technological media as a learning support. The data in this study were obtained through observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation. Based on the results of the research, YouTube is the right solution for learning Arabic during distance learning during a pandemic in class VII.1 MTsN 2 Bulukumba because it explains that learning via YouTube can be accessed anytime and anywhere, learning materials are assisted with media that displays pictures/ animation and sound so as not to bore students. The implications of this research in terms of scientific utilization are expected to be able to contribute to the development of science, especially in learning Arabic language education and getting to know technology.

Abstract

This article was compiled to examine and describe the role of Islamic religious education teachers in dealing with changes in student morale due to the influence of technological advances at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai. This research is a qualitative research. The data collection method in this study is by summarizing the results of interviews, observation and documentation. The source of the data in this study was the PAI teacher at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai, the data used were primary data and secondary data as well as the results of previous studies that were considered relevant. After the data is collected, content analysis is carried out to get precise and accurate conclusions. The focus in this study is moral change and technological progress. The results of this study indicate that changes in student morale due to technological advances at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai experience changes in attitude/moral crisis. So that PAI teachers provide assistance, guidance and coaching by instilling religious values in students so that they have spiritual strength.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the material, learning steps, and evaluation sheets of students in the book K-13 moral creed class V publishers of the Directorate of KSKK Madrasah Directorate General of Islamic Education Ministry of 2020. This research uses a qualitative research type with content analysis techniques and semiotic, sociological, theology, and pedagogy. Using primary and secondary data sources. The research method is documentation in the form of books and other documents. Data processing techniques; coding, classification, analysis and descriptive stages. Data validation technique is source triangulation. The results of the study show that the social character education contained in the moral creed book for class V MI contains social care, friendship/communication and peace-loving values.

Abstract

This research aims to get an overview of (1) the mathematical critical thinking abilities of students who do not apply the RADEC learning model, (2) the mathematical critical thinking abilities of students who apply the RADEC learning model, (3) the influence of the RADEC learning model on participants' mathematical critical thinking abilities educate. This research approach is a quantitative approach with a type of experimental research. The population in this study was all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 24 Bulukumba. The sample was all students in class VIII B and class VIII C, with 22 students each taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument in the form of essay questions. The analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test. (1) The control class pretest results have a percentage of 100% in the very low category, and the control class posttest results have a percentage of 4.5% in the very low category. (2) The experimental class pretest results had a percentage of 100% in the very low category, and the experimental class posttest results obtained were 13.6% in the medium category. (3) The results of the inferential analysis showed that the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) learning model affected the mathematical critical thinking abilities of Class VIII students at SMP Negeri 24 Bulukumba.

Abstract

Rainbow bridge media is a learning media that presents educators' messages in pictures, letters, and numbers, which can help students develop their cognitive aspects. This research aims to determine whether the use of Rainbow Bridge media affects the development of cognitive aspects of early childhood. This research is experimental research with a pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students at Nurul Taqwa Tokombeng Kindergarten and Al-Ikhlas Kindergarten, with a total of 45 students. The sample was 13 class B students at Nurul Taqwa Tokombeng Kindergarten and 13 class B students at Al-Ikhlas Kindergarten. The instruments used were observation sheets on cognitive aspects of children aged 5-6 years and observation sheets of rainbow bridge media. The analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The research results show that using rainbow bridge media influences the development of students' cognitive aspects.

Abstract

Improving the quality of mathematics learning is an urgent need in education. One factor that plays a crucial role in the learning process is the use of learning media. This research aims to find out (1) the type of media that influences overall mathematics learning, (2) the summary effect size of the application of learning media that influences students' mathematics learning outcomes, and (3) whether the application of learning media influences students' mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is meta-analysis, which is a study that uses data from previous research to be analyzed systematically and quantitatively in order to obtain comprehensive conclusions regarding the results of the research being studied. Data collection was carried out by searching for articles that were relevant to the topic being studied on internet network sites such as Google Scholar, Research Gate, One Search, Open Knowledge Map, Eric, IPI Search, and Microsoft Academic, using the keywords the influence of learning media on student learning outcomes. The samples analyzed are research reports that meet the predetermined sample criteria. The instruments used are data collection sheets, screening sheets, and feasibility sheets. Data analysis techniques use descriptive and inferential statistics. This research found that the most influential media was print media; the summary effect size was 0.636, which is within the criteria for a large high effect size, and the hypothesis test results showed that learning media had a significant effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research explores students' creativity in solving problems using the TIMSS cognitive domain. This qualitative study employs a descriptive method with two eighth-grade students in Gowa as the research subjects. The selection of subjects is based on their initial mathematical abilities in the eighth grade, and students with high capabilities are grouped accordingly. The instruments used for data collection include a mathematics creativity test and interview guidelines. The study focuses on three aspects of creative thinking abilities: fluency, flexibility, and originality. The result of this study indicates that (1) the subject in the cognitive domain of applying algebraic content, high initial abilities meet the aspects of fluency and flexibility. This meant that obtained creative thinking ability level 3 (creative); (2) in the cognitive domain of reasoning, the subject's algebraic content fulfills the flexibility aspect. This means obtaining creative thinking ability level 2 (creative enough).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using picture word card media on the beginning reading abilities of class B students at Nurfalah Tattakang Kindergarten, Gowa Regency. This research is pre-experimental with a research design, namely one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were early childhood children aged 5-6 years, with a total of 15 people in Nurfalah Tattakang Kindergarten. The research sample involved Class B of Nurfalah Tattakang Kindergarten, Gowa Regency, which was selected through saturated sampling. This research uses instruments in the form of observation and documentation sheets. The data obtained was then analyzed using descriptive statistics. This research showed increased initial reading ability through picture word cards in class B students at Nurfalah Tattakang Kindergarten, Gowa Regency. Thus, picture word cartoon media can be used to improve students' initial reading skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model with the Two Stay Two Stray method on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This research is a quasi-experiment with a research design, namely Quasi Experiment Design. The research population involved all class VII students at MTs Madani Alauddin. The research sample was class VII A as the experimental class and VII B as the control class, selected using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is a test instrument in the form of a description test. Descriptive and inferential statistical analysis are the methods used for data analysis. This research showed that using the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model with the Two Stay Two Stray method effectively improved the mathematical problem-solving abilities of class VII students at MTs Madani Alauddin Pao-Pao.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process and analyze the quality of the HOTS-type test instrument development on flat side space and measure students' higher-order thinking skills. This type of research is research and development with the Formative Research (Tessmeer) model. The test subjects in this study were class XI.3 students at SMP Negeri 30 Makassar, totaling 30 students. Based on the research results, it is known that 1) the development process using the Formative Research (Tessmeer) model through 4 stages, namely the preliminary stage, the self-evaluation stage, the prototyping stage, and the field test stage. 2) the quality of test development is declared valid with a CVR (Content Validity Index) value, the average total score is 1 with a very appropriate category or is in the interval 0.68-1.00, practically based on the results of the questionnaire analysis of student responses 89.07% with the response category "Very Positiveā€, reliable with an average of 0.752 and 0.866 in the high category (reliable), the average difficulty level of the total score is 0.69 and 0.49 in the medium category, and the different power of the average total score is 0.42 and 0.49 in the good category. 3) students' critical thinking ability averaged 67.61, which was in the good category. Thus, this HOTS-type test instrument can be used to measure students' high-order thinking skills.
