The development of the e-commerce business is an opportunity for logistics service providers as third parties who deliver goods sold by the seller to the location intended by the buyer. This study aims to analyze the behavior of fashion e-commerce customers in choosing the best vendor. Data were collected by in-depth interviews with five selected informants for vendor criteria and sub-criteria, then a survey was conducted on 100 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method to determine criteria and sub-criteria in selecting the preferred vendor. The first criterion was reliability of delivery, with the sub-criteria of timeliness, accuracy of delivery destination, and security of the condition of the goods. The second criterion was price. The next criterion was products with regular delivery, express, and same-day sub-criteria. The last criterion was shipping features with its sub-criteria shipping tracking, wide delivery area, and customer service. For the case of Indonesia in this study, the best vendor in delivering products from e-commerce to customers is obtained by Si Cepat in the first place, followed by J&T and JNE in second and third places.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is that there was an import customs settlement process that still requires the results of a surveyor company certified by the government to be attached to the Bonded Logistics Center warehouse outside the port, increasing the waiting time. This research analyzes the import handling process, government policies, and customs compliance in handling heavy equipment spare parts. This research used a qualitative analysis approach with purposive sampling with 10 informants from various companies. The research findings are that there was still a lack of government role in increasing the effectiveness of handling the import process of heavy equipment spare parts at the heavy equipment trading company, due to weaknesses in determining import restrictions.Steel heavy equipment spare parts were invalid because heavy equipment spare parts were made in factories in the home country of the heavy equipment maker. It is difficult to transfer technology to domestic production because the price of fabrication machines requires quite a high investment and high technical specifications. The company also experienced losses in terms of transportation costs

Abstract

Quality Control is a very important activity for the company to increase the market and income due to consumers’ highly consideration of the goods quality when purchasing. The purpose of the research is to determine the causes of rejected products and to provide solutions. The research was using Statistical Quality Control method which included process diagrams, check sheets, histograms, control charts, Pareto diagrams, scatter diagrams, Fishbone diagrams, and 5W+1H. The results show that there are two types of prioritized rejected products that are holes and dirty ones. Based on the data processing and calculation on the control map, there are several points outside the control limits caused by overheat machine used and human error. Based on the data processing carried out using Fishbone diagram, there are some factors causing these types of rejected goods of apparel such as operator negligence, lack of machine maintenance, poor quality of the materials, and insufficient lighting. The proposed improvements to be implemented are arranging supervision schedules, managing shift schedules, conducting daily briefings, scheduling the machine maintenance, selecting material vendors using AHP method, and re-arranging the production layouts. Kata kunci  : Pengendalian Kualitas, Statistical quality control, Produk Reject

Abstract

In 2022, PT XYZ, a shipping company in Indonesia, experienced 42 cases of ship lease termination due to machinery damage, which was related to delays in procuring ship spare parts, however no procurement performance measurement had been conducted in the company. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the procurement performance at PT XYZ and what kind of improvement could be made by the company. The research was conducted using SCOR model with a Fishbone diagram to identify the root causes of the emerging constraints and determine the corrective actions that could be taken. From the research results, it is found that the procurement performance of PT XYZ has not yet met the target, where the gap in RL2.1 On Time Fulfilment is 71.65% from the company’s target, the average gap in RS2.2 Fulfil Cycle is 45.08 days from seven days, and the gap in RS2.3 Deliver Cycle Time is an average of 30.8 days from the target of 14 days. The contributing factors are primarily due to the operational areas of the ships being spread across Indonesia, a limited vendor population, the scarcity of machine parts manufactured in certain countries, and the machinery longevity. PT XYZ could implement optimizing the population of partner suppliers in each ship operational zone, collaborating with foreign suppliers, and optimizing spare parts stock both on the ship and in the warehouse as the performance improvement strategies.

Abstract

Every year, the ferry port counter system, transportation arrangement from the dock to the ship and vice versa, departure schedules, human resources, and dock facilities are undergoing improvements that should in line with the population development, socio-economic and tourism activities, and the flow of urbanization. There are two dissatisfied services in Merak Ferry Port experienced by the passengers; the safety and security services. The aim of the research is to determine the passengers’ satisfaction level of the service performance, the service facilities availability level, and the service performance of Merak Ferry Port. The data was analysed using Customer Satisfaction Index and Importance Performance Analysis with 120 ferry passengers as samples. The results of the research show that the passengers are very satisfied with the service indicators provided, hence, there are primary service indicators need improving. Three aspects that need improvements are the ease of services, the passengers’ comfortability, and the information availability of ships’ departure and arrival.

Abstract

The use of technology to reduce carbon emissions that support green tourism is electric vehicles, one of its advantages is that it does not produce exhaust emissions that can pollute the environment. The purpose of this research is to see the readiness of the Bali Provincial Government in preparing the engineering of the use of electric vehicles, especially infrastructure and technology to support green tourism and green energy. this research method is carried out using literacy study data collection techniques and data sources with secondary data types. The discussion in this study can be described qualitatively based on the results of data processing that has been collected previously. The implementation of the regulation has produced results but does not have a significant impact, because it only focuses on tourism areas in Denpasar City and Badung Regency, the main infrastructure in supporting electric vehicles is the availability of SPKLU in tourism areas, the use of electric buses can be further expanded and the route increased, thus increasing tourist interest in using these services. Further research can be carried out on how much exhaust emissions and air pollution decrease in tourism areas.
