PREMIERE : Journal of Islamic Elementary Education
Penerbitan jurnal ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan pembaca serta sebagai sumber literasi pada teori dan praktik pendidikan dasar keislaman. Jurnal ini menerbitkan artikel orisinil pada tren dan isu-isu terkini terkait dengan pendidikan dasar keislaman khususnya di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/sederajat yang meliputi : Pembelajaran Berisikan hasil penelitian mengenai pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di pendidikan dasar keislaman. Kami merekomendasikan kajian yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembalajaran yang dikaji dari beberapa sudut pandang meliputi psikologis, sosial, kognitif, afektif, dan kultural. Isu dan tren terkini Berisikan hasil penelitian yang membahas mengenai isu dan tren global terkini yang mengimplikasi dunia pendidikan dasar keislaman khususnya tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/sederajat. Tenaga pendidik pendidikan dasar Berisikan hasil penelitian yang membahas tentang profesionalisme seorang tenaga pendidik yang meliputi : persiapan, kinerja, pengembangan, karir, dan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh tenaga pendidik pada pendidikan dasar keislaman. Kebijakan dan kurikulum pendidikan dasar Berisikan hasil penelitian yang membahas tentang penerapan, efek dan pengaruh, pro dan kontra, serta evaluasi dari kebijakan dan kurikulum pendidikan dasar yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah dan mengimplikasi pendidikan dasar keislaman khususnya di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/sederajat. Manajemen pendidikan dasar Berisikan hasil penelitian yang membahas tentang manajemen pendidikan dasar keislaman. Kajian tentang ruang lingkup ini cukup luas, meliputi : manajemen institusi berbasis sekolah, manajemen kurikulum pendidikan, manajemen kesiswaan, manajemen sdm dan kepegawaian, manajemen keuangan sekolah, manajemen sarpras sekolah, kepemimpinan, serta manajemen input/output peserta didik.

<![CDATA[This research explores the use of the Quizizz Application Paper Mode as a strategy to increase enthusiasm for learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in class V students at SDN GERBO II. The main focus of this research is Paper Mode Quizizz, a platform that attracts students' interest and has the potential to increase their focus. The main aim of this research is to raise students' enthusiasm for learning through the application of innovative learning methods. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, where this research aims to provide an overview of the condition of students' enthusiasm for learning by focusing on indicators of interest and concentration in class V students at SDN GERBO II. Various data collection instruments were used, including observation sheets, student questionnaires, and interview guides. Data obtained from the results of student questionnaires and interviews were then analyzed to gain an in-depth understanding of the impact of using the Quizizz Application on students' enthusiasm for learning. The research results show that implementing the Quizizz application as an effective learning tool not only increases student enthusiasm in general, but also specifically has a positive impact on students who were previously less active. These findings underline the great potential of innovative approaches in motivating students and improving the quality of PAI learning at SDN GERBO II]]>

<![CDATA[The 1945 Constitution and Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003 which regulate the National Education System since August 17, 1945 became the legal basis for the curriculum developed by the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia. The Juridical Education Foundation is required by Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution to organize the state education system, prioritizing the advancement of science and technology, and 20% of the APBN and APBD budgets. This type of research is known as research and development (R&D), and modifies the early stages of development research using the ADDIE paradigm (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Teacher interviews, curriculum analysis, and small-scale SBdP KIT trials were used to collect data. This development research is a field test carried out in grade IV SD Negeri Tambak Boyo 02. The findings of this study show the great potential of SBdP KIT as a teaching tool that can deepen students' understanding of decoration. SBdP Kit media development can be well validated and is very feasible to use. The media trial was also very good and the response of students showed that this media was able to increase interest in learning and was able to explore student creativity.]]>

<![CDATA[Parental support plays a crucial role in facilitating children's development. However, some parents do not support their children's cognitive development enough, which impacts their learning outcomes. This study aims to examine how parental support fits with Piaget's developmental psychology theory as it relates to children in elementary school. This research uses a qualitative research methodology with literature study techniques using content analysis. Based on research findings, (1) Piaget's theory about the cognitive development of elementary school-aged children. This process requires the involvement of parents and teachers, both of whom need to realize that children learn in different ways, at different times, and with different levels of interest. -different. This must be paid attention to in order to achieve a perfect cycle. (2) Parental support plays an important role in fostering learning motivation in elementary school students, including emotional, appreciative, instrumental and informative aspects. (3) So that children can reach their maximum cognitive potential, forms of parental support should be adapted to Piaget's 4 stages of development theory.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this research is to analyze the level of satisfaction of school principals towards alumni of the PGMI Study Program in Islamic minority areas, namely in Sorong City. The principal's satisfaction with alumni's performance in the field can provide an important picture regarding the relevance and quality of education provided by the study program. Through a quantitative approach, data will be collected from school principals in Sorong City through questionnaires and interviews. Data will be analyzed to identify factors that influence principal satisfaction and its impact on the study program. It is hoped that the findings of this research can provide valuable input for curriculum development, learning strategies, and improving the quality of graduates in the context of Islamic minority areas.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract English is an international language used by most people in the world, so being able to speak English is a mandatory skill. Responding to this urgency, the Indonesian government has set a policy so that English is taught since Elementary School as local content. Learning English at the elementary school level is considered difficult and demands teacher competence and requires innovative strategies, methods, and media. Interesting media such as animated videos are still quite rarely used in elementary schools, especially in rural areas. SDN Sendanghaji is one of the schools that tries to apply this method despite the limited facilities owned by the school. In this case, this study aims to describe how teachers teach, what approaches, strategies, methods and media they use during the teaching and learning process. This research is a qualitative research in the form of a case study. The approach in this study is a phenomenological approach where researchers observe phenomena and facts during English learning and then describe them. The data in this study are in the form of lesson plans and facts that occur in the classroom and data sources are taken from facts and phenomena in the classroom and from the books used. The results of the study indicate that teachers have taught students well and successfully. Teachers use lecture, Q&A or discussion methods and role-playing; teachers apply scientific approaches and learning models to explore potential; teachers use animated video media supported by textbooks such as Student's Book My Next Words, Smart English Book and Grow with English; teachers use supporting equipment such as LCD Projectors and others, and are able to manage classes and learning time well. Students are enthusiastic about following lessons; they are motivated to practice and do homework and are able to understand the lessons very well.]]>

<![CDATA[Character Education for the next generation is a mandatory thing that must be considered seriously. It has become our responsibility to instilled nationalism character on young generation since elementary school age. The development of technology that influences lifestyle and family parenting models also contributes to the growth and development of nationalism construction in children which is increasingly eroded. Responding to this phenomenon, educational institutions become the second pillar after the family to design and construct children's nationalism. In this case, the Ma'arif NU educational institution designed a character education program to construct nationalism and a sense of love for the country through a mandatory program, namely singing the song “Yaa lal wathon” at every activity, both official and ceremonial, and making this song the second mandatory song after the song Indonesia Raya. In practice, this song has become a routine that makes students continue to sing the song. In this study, the researcher aims to reveal: (1) How is the interpretation of the meaning of the song "Yaa Lal Wathan" according to students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah NU Hidayatun Najah Tuban? (2) How is the impact of the song "Yaa Lal Wathan" in shaping the nationalism of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah NU Hidayatun Najah Tuban Tuban? By using a phenomenological study approach, this study found that students interpreted the song as an inspiring song to protect the nation. This song is an indicator of the instillation of nationalism in students. The song "Yaa Lal Wathan" plays a role as an effective media in building students' nationalism, in accordance with Jean Piaget's cognitive development theory at the formal operational stage, where students begin to be able to think abstractly and hypothetically.]]>

<![CDATA[Good quality education is essential to produce competent human resources who are able to compete in the global arena. However, challenges in education often hinder effective learning processes so that optimization in the use of learning media is needed to overcome challenges in education and improve learner competence. This study aims to identify and analyze various learning media used in the learning process and their influence on student learning outcomes. The research method used, namely a qualitative approach with a literature study. The research stages include article collection, article reduction, article display, discussion, and conclusion, with data sources in the form of national journal articles in the last five years (2019-2024). The results show that learning media can enrich learners' learning experiences and contribute significantly to improving their learning outcomes. With better understanding, increased brain absorption and stronger memory, learners are able to achieve higher and have a deeper understanding of the material studied. These findings emphasize the importance of optimizing the use of learning media in addressing educational challenges and improving student competencies.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to describe the program of plastic and non-plastic waste management implemented at SDN 13 Muaro to build environmental care character on students. This study using descriptive qualitative, Informants involved in this study include the principal, educators, students, and parents. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. Meanwhile, the Miles and Huberman model was used as a data analysis technique. The results of the study showed that students' caring character for the environment was already visible in their daily habits at school. On the other hand, the school strengthened the program through teacher training, school campaigns, program integration in the curriculum, supporting facilities, and collaboration with stakeholders. This article is expected to provide insight into the plastic and non-plastic waste management program in elementary schools to increase environmental awareness.]]>

<![CDATA[Religious moderation is a crucial concept in fostering tolerance and respect for diversity in multicultural societies. In Indonesia, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic elementary schools) play a significant role in instilling the values of religious moderation as faith-based educational institutions. This article explores how mathematics learning can serve as a tool for teaching religious moderation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method, conducting thematic analysis of various scholarly journals. The findings indicate that mathematics education not only enhances cognitive skills but also helps shape students' character, promoting inclusivity and tolerance. By integrating religious moderation values—such as justice (al-'adl), balance (tawazun), and tolerance (tasamuh)—into math lessons (e.g., through contextual word problems or group discussions), Madrasah Ibtidaiyah can strengthen students' ethical and social awareness alongside their academic abilities. This research highlights the potential of mathematics as an interdisciplinary medium for nurturing moderate, pluralism-friendly attitudes in young learners.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to explore the improvement of English language competence, especially for teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Al-Fatah Banjarnegara through a basic English training program that includes Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing. The method used is descriptive qualitative, namely by interview and observation approaches to ten (10) MI Al Fatah Banjarnegara Class teachers who participated in the training. This study measures the level of English language ability before and after training. This measurement is carried out through tests before and after training or pre and post tests. Observation data during training, interviews and scores before and after training were then analyzed and their meanings sought. The results of the study indicate that basic English training helps improve teachers' English skills, especially in these four basic English which are able to improve speaking, reading, listening and writing skills in teaching English. Factors such as teacher motivation and institutional support influence the success of the training. This study recommends the implementation of ongoing training programs and the provision of training modules according to needs.]]>
