Abstract

Teknologi berkembang  sangat pesat begitu pula dengan dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan merupakan upaya pengembangan potensi sumber daya manusia melalui proses pembelajaran. Tujuan utama dari proses pembelajaran di sekolah adalah menciptakan suasana belajar yang baik dan menyenangkan, membangkitkan semangat dan mendorong mereka untuk selalu giat belajar, karena proses belajar yang baik dan menyenangkan akan memberikan dampak positif terhadap tercapainya hasil pembelajaran yang optimal. Pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang tepat merupakan salah satu cara menciptakan proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan proses belajar yaitu pemilihan media pembelajaran. Saat ini sudah banyak pilihan teknologi informasi yang dapat digunakan untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah Google Sites. Google Sites merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak produk Google yang digunakan sebagai alat pembuat website secara gratis sehingga siapapun dapat menggunakan atau membuat membuat website dengan memanfaatkan Google Sites. Penggunaan Google Sites dapat dijadikan sebagai solusi  memudahkan akses informasi dengan memanfaatkan jaringan internet. Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah peningkatan softskill Guru SMK Dharma Pancasila untuk membangun sebuah website secara gratis dengan memanfaatkan Google Sites. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini setiap guru mampu menggunakan dan mengembangkan website dengan memanfaatkan Google Site. Melalui kegiatan ini juga telah membantu  pihak sekolah dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran yang lebih variatif yang tersedia secara gratis melalui Google Sites sehingga siswa dan guru dapat mengembangkan pembelajaran yang lebih baik

Abstract

Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan guru SD dalam mengintegrasikan nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P3) dan teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis P3 dan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan tiga kegiatan utama: lokakarya internalisasi nilai P3 dalam pembelajaran matematika, pelatihan pengembangan pembelajaran matematika berorientasi P3, dan pelatihan TPACK. Peserta yang terlibat sebanyak 30 guru SD di Gugus III Kecamatan Padang Timur, Kota Padang. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta memperoleh skor di atas 75,00, yang menandakan pencapaian indikator keberhasilan. Guru mampu menyusun dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran matematika yang berbasis nilai Pancasila dan teknologi, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih interaktif dan mendukung perkembangan holistik siswa. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai Pancasila dan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, dan dapat menjadi model bagi program pelatihan serupa di wilayah lain. Implikasi dari pelatihan ini adalah pentingnya pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun konsep STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) dalam proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar (SD), serta kurangnya kemampuan guru SD dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran kelas digital berbasis STEM sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka, menjadi latar belakang utama kegiatan ini. Rendahnya pemahaman guru terhadap integrasi STEM dalam pendidikan berdampak pada kualitas pembelajaran yang belum optimal dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan era digital. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru SD di Kecamatan IV Koto, Kabupaten Agam, dalam menyusun dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis STEM serta kelas digital berbasis STEM sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Program ini dirancang secara komprehensif dan mencakup dua metode utama, yaitu pelatihan penyusunan konsep STEM dan pelatihan implementasi pembelajaran digital berbasis STEM. Proses pelatihan melibatkan metode kolaboratif, simulasi, diskusi kelompok, dan praktik langsung untuk memastikan bahwa guru dapat mengaplikasikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperoleh dalam kelas mereka. Evaluasi kemampuan dilakukan melalui tes sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, dan hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan para peserta. Rata-rata nilai evaluasi akhir mencapai di atas 85 untuk semua materi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menggabungkan konsep STEM dan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran. Rekomendasi dari kegiatan ini mencakup evaluasi jangka panjang atas dampak implementasi STEM terhadap hasil belajar siswa serta pengembangan pelatihan lanjutan guna memperkuat keterampilan guru secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) merupakan inisiatif strategis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi peserta didik sejak dini, yang bertujuan menciptakan budaya membaca dan menulis yang berkelanjutan. Untukmendukung GLS, perguruan tinggi dapat memainkan peran penting melalui pengabdian kepada masyarakat . Artikel ini menguraikan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh Universitas Dharma Andalas dengan fokus pada pelatihan guru-guru MGMP TIK SMA Kota Padang untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang aplikasi game edukasi berbasis Android menggunakan Quick App Ninja. Dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 September 2024 di Universitas Dharma Andalas, terdiri dari empat metode utama: (1) Metode Sosialisasi, mencakup pemaparan tentang pentingnya literasi dan potensi game edukasi; (2) Metode Rancangan Bangun Aplikasi yang melibatkan perancangan dan pembuatan prototipe aplikasi game edukasi; (3) Metode Pelatihan dan Pendampingan yang memberikan pelatihan teknis kepada para guru; dan (4) Metode Simulasi dan Evaluasi untuk menguji efektivitas aplikasi dan mengumpulkan umpan balik. Dengan pelatihan ini, diharapkan guru-guru dapat memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menarik, sekaligus memperkuat keterampilan literasi siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bagaimana perguruan tinggi berkolaborasi dengan kelompok pendidikan untuk mendukung GLS dan mewujudkan insan literat sepanjang hidup

Abstract

Information technology has developed into a necessity in various aspects, including the government. Proper use of technology will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations, especially in public services. Currently, the Nagari Ranah Pasisie government is facing challenges in providing services to the community, especially in managing village data. This service research aims to assist village officials in using Microsoft Excel within digital administration systems. Microsoft Excel can help village administrators manage, store, and administer data. Participatory action research (PAR) divides this service research method into three stages: mapping, which includes the precondition stage and needs assessment through direct communication and focus group discussion (FGD); implementation, which includes the program planning and training implementation stages; and monitoring, which includes the evaluation and reflection stages. Village officials who are training participants receive questionnaires as part of the evaluation process. The questionnaire was calculated and analyzed using a Likert scale and scale range equations. The results of the questionnaire showed that the village officials gave a positive response to the implementation of service activities. However, there were still notes, such as the duration of training needing to be increased. The training will enable village officials to provide data management and administrative services more effectively and efficiently

Abstract

Education and development is one of the efforts that can be made by organizations in order to improve the education, skills, competencies and performance of their employees, therefore education and training (training) for an organization must be seen as a long-term investment in the field of human resources. Civil servants as state apparatus are required to provide good service to the community, to maintain the survival of an agency it needs to be supported by human resources who have a leadership spirit, have skills, have high creativity. The quality of work of civil servants (PNS) is considered inadequate and is below the expected quality standards, such as slow service delivery to the general public, lack of coordination of several jobs, lack of respect for working hours, discipline and working time, all of which indicate that the quality of civil servants (PNS) needs to be addressed. Qualified, highly motivated human resources who are willing to work together in teams will be the key to organizational success. The objectives of this community service activity are to provide education, training and employee development to improve the quality of public services, develop managerial capacity, strengthen ethics and morality, and improve employee leadership. Participants who participated in this community service activity amounted to 50 people. The material presented is about education, training (DIKLAT) and employee development to improve employee performance. The results of the training show that employees have an understanding of education, training and development to improve employee performance. This activity is expected to be able to improve employee performance so that services to the community also improve.

Abstract

Digital image processing is one of the important branches of computer science that plays a major role in supporting accurate and efficient object identification. This service aims to analyze the extent to which understanding the concepts and techniques of digital image processing can contribute to the progress of object identification, especially in the context of the increasingly rapid development of information technology. By using a descriptive-qualitative approach and literature study, this service uses various image processing methods such as segmentation, edge detection, and machine learning-based classification and others. The data used in this service is secondary data as an implementation of the object process in digital image processing for students' understanding of object detection. The results show that a deep understanding of image processing not only improves the accuracy of object identification, but also opens up opportunities for application development in various fields such as security, health, agriculture, and the manufacturing industry and this service can provide education for students to learn about the development of information technology in digital images. Thus, digital image processing is an important component in supporting digital transformation and information technology innovation in the future.

Abstract

This community service was carried out at the Harapan Farmers Group in Jorong Baruah Gunuang, Bukit Barisan District, which faces the problem of low income and lack of utilization of orange peel waste. This activity aims to increase people's income through: 1) innovation in processing orange peel into products of economic value, such as candied orange peel, orange jam, orange jelly, and natural pesticides. Next 2) knowledge of processing management and the results of innovation. The methods used include counseling, training, and direct assistance to members of farmer groups. The results of the activity showed an increase in knowledge from 42% to 91% and members had skills in processing orange peels, as well as orange juice, from the leftover oranges selected from sales to middlemen. So the formation of several innovative orange-based products, as well as the emergence of new business opportunities that have the potential to increase group income. Likewise, there is already a brand of the product and is in the process of obtaining a PIRT permit from the Health Office. This service activity proves that the use of orange peel waste not only reduces environmental problems, but is also able to provide economic added value for the community.often presented separate from the article, so it must be able to stand alone.

Abstract

The partner of the Beginner Community Empowerment Program (PMP) is the ITQ AR-Rahamn Elementary School in Bima City, which is committed to its vision of producing a generation that not only excels in science and technology to increase economic competitiveness but also has noble morals and a strong understanding of religion. Because the school's main focus is on strengthening religious and Qur'anic learning for students, the Principal hopes that students can have social knowledge and skills such as entrepreneurship so that they can have independence in society in the future. Through this grant program (PMP), together with partners, they carry out edupreneurship activities through motivational classes, coaching classes and creative classes as well as mentoring and program evaluation. Based on the evaluation results, it shows that 95.45% are happy with the product design activities with canvas and presenting in front of teachers and friends, 93% know how to prepare a simple business plan and 94% of participants are enthusiastic about becoming kidspreneurs. From the activities carried out by the PMP team, the E-module “Entrepreneurship Inspiration Project”, the E-Module “Successful Entrepreneurship Project”, the E-Module “My Business Mini Plan”, The E-Modul “Edupreneurship” and the “Kidsprenuer” Video were produced.

Abstract

Vocational high school (SMK) students, as future skilled workers, still face challenges in global communication skills, particularly in Business Mandarin. This limitation hinders their ability to meet the demands of industries increasingly engaged in cooperation with Chinese companies. The urgency of Business Mandarin training lies in the growing need for a workforce that not only possesses technical expertise but can also communicate effectively in multicultural environments. Proficiency in Business Mandarin serves as a significant competitive advantage for SMK graduates, enhancing their employability in the global labor market. The Business Mandarin and CV Writing Training Program aims to equip students with practical business communication skills and professional CV writing abilities. This program is expected to strengthen the competitiveness of SMK graduates while bridging the gap between education and industry needs in the Industry 5.0 era.
