Abstract

The Modern Annida Islamic Boarding School is one of the pesantren located in South Lampung Regency. The teaching and learning process in this pesantren integrates the national curriculum with additional religious studies. However, at the Modern Annida Islamic Boarding School, the interest of students at the senior high school (SMA) level remains lower than that of students at the junior high school (SMP) level. Senior high school students are perceived as lacking sufficient competencies to be workforce-ready. Digital Graphic Design is a form of visual communication that presents information, products, or services through digital interfaces. Simply put, digital graphic design is specifically created for use on computers. Several methods can be applied to train students in digital graphic design at schools, including discussions, demonstrations, experiments, problem-solving, and lectures. By utilizing a Digital Graphic Design approach, the aim is to make education at the senior high school level in the Modern Annida Islamic Boarding School more engaging and less monotonous, with the hope that junior high school students will be encouraged to continue their education at the senior high school level within the institution. In this training, students are not only introduced to basic photo editing techniques using Adobe Photoshop but are also encouraged to develop creativity, which is highly essential in today's digital era. This program successfully sparked the students' interest in exploring their talents in graphic design, which could potentially become a source of income in the future.

Abstract

Pusat Penelitian Teh dan Kina (PPTK) Gambung is a research institution that focuses on tea and quinine commodities. PPTK Gambung intends to create a blockchain-based traceability system for the tea supply chain to improve transparency and product quality. Blockchain technology enables secure, immutable, and transparent data recording so consumers can easily trace the origin of products. There has previously been development of a traceability system for green tea that helps ensure that tea products meet ethical and environmental standards. However, to expand the reach and meet partner demand, developing a similar traceability system for white tea is important. White tea is one of the leading products due to its high polyphenol content, which has various health benefits. With this system in place, the white tea supply chain process is expected to be managed with the same transparency, ensuring that the product is not only high quality but also ethically and sustainably produced. This problem will be solved through the proposed community service activity. Through this community service activity, PPTK Gambung can have a smart contract prototype that can be used as a pilot to be submitted to the national level.

Abstract

Land and Building Tax (PBB) has an important role in supporting Surabaya City's Local Revenue (PAD). However, the low level of taxpayer compliance is a major challenge in local tax management. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the door-to-door approach implemented by the Surabaya City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) in increasing the awareness and compliance of PBB taxpayers. Through direct socialization, tax officers provide education and resolve administrative issues, such as arrears and data discrepancies with field results. The results showed that this method succeeded in increasing PBB revenue by 8.74% and helped boost PAD. The door-to-door approach proved effective in raising taxpayers' awareness and improving their compliance levels. This success contributed positively to the achievement of Surabaya City's PAD target. This approach can be adapted to improve public understanding of tax obligations and is expected to become a broader model in local tax management

Abstract

Stunting is not only a problem of malnutrition, but has a major impact on the quality of future human resources. To overcome this, a comprehensive approach involving various sectors is needed, one of which is a community-based convergence approach. The implementation of a community-based convergence strategy in Pamekasan Regency aims to reduce the stunting rate to achieve the Zero Stunting target. This strategy will strengthen cross-sector collaboration, actively involve the community, and pay attention to health, nutrition, sanitation and education interventions for families at risk of stunting. This strategy is in line with the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) target of “Zero Hunger”, namely eliminating all forms of malnutrition by 2030, Presidential Regulation No. 72 of 2021 concerning the acceleration of stunting reduction. East Java Province ranks 25th with the highest prevalence of stunting, while Pamekasan Regency has reached 6% by 2023.  The achievement of reducing the prevalence of stunted children has not been evenly distributed to areas in Pamekasan Regency. Therefore, a holistic and multisectoral approach is needed, including the government, academics, industry, society and the media. Collaboration from the five parties can be optimally beneficial if all parties understand their roles and contributions in efforts to accelerate stunting reduction. That way the Zero Stunting target can be achieved. In addition, some of the policies and implementation strategies in this policy brief can be used as a basis for determining future policies.

Abstract

The mandate of Law No. 1 of 2011 concerning Housing and Residential Areas states that the State is responsible for protecting all Indonesian people through the provision of housing and residential areas so that people are able to live and occupy decent and affordable homes in healthy, safe, harmonious and sustainable housing throughout Indonesia. Furthermore, the law also states that the definition of a house is one of the basic human needs that has a strategic function as a habitable place to live, a means of family development, a reflection of the dignity of its occupants, and an asset for its owner. To implement this policy, the regional government through the Public Housing and Residential Area and Land Service of Lebak Regency, provides assistance to improve the quality of uninhabitable houses for Low-Income Communities in Lebak Regency through Self-Help Housing Stimulus Assistance (BSRS) in the Arrangement and Improvement of the Quality of Slum Areas with an area of less than 10 Ha sourced from the 2024 Regional Budget and Revenue and Expenditure with a program target of 300 housing units

Abstract

According to the SNI 01-2721-1992 standard, the permissible moisture content for fish is around 40%. However, fresh fish naturally contains more than 40% water. To meet this standard, fish must undergo a drying process. In Indonesia, salted fish is commonly prepared by sun-drying the fish on bamboo mats. However, this method has several drawbacks, such as requiring large areas of land, heavy dependence on weather conditions, long drying times, and the risk of contamination by dust and dirt. One solution that has been developed is an artificial drying method using a greenhouse effect. In this activity, a drying tool shaped like a rectangular prism was designed and equipped with stones at the bottom to store heat and exhaust at the top. This tool was tested by comparing the mass of the fish before and after drying. The results showed that the fish's initial mass of 24.22 grams decreased to 21.28 grams after being dried for 2 days at an average temperature of 36.7°C.
