There is a partial influence between the social environment (X1) on consumptive behavior (Y) with a sig value of 0.008 0.05: 2). There is no partial influence between social media (X2) on consumptive behavior (Y) with a sig value of 0.640 0.05. The results of the F test simultaneously obtained a sig value of 0.003 0.05, this indicates that the social environment (X1) and social media (X2) simultaneously affect consumptive behavior (Y). The test results of the coefficient of determination R Square (R ²) obtained a value of 0.169, which means that the social environment (X1) and social media (X2) have a low influence on consumptive behavior (Y), which is 16.9%.

Abstract

This study aims to inventory the lexicon, describe its forms, analyze its lexical meanings, explore its cultural significance, and develop an implementation model for Indonesian language learning based on the rice farming lexicon in the Bekidoh language of the Dayak Jungur community in Sanggau Regency. A descriptive method with a qualitative approach was employed in this research. Data were obtained from Bekidoh language utterances related to the agricultural lexicon in the Dayak Jungur Tonyok community, collected through participant observation, interviews, audio recording, and documentation techniques. The study identified 79 agricultural lexicons in the Bekidoh language, classified into four stages: preplanting (26 lexemes), planting (32 lexemes), harvesting (11 lexemes), and post-harvest (10 lexemes). In terms of linguistic form, 59 lexicons appear as words, further categorized into monomorphemic (53 lexemes) and polymorphemic (6 lexemes). Additionally, 20 lexicons take the form of phrases, classified as endocentric (19 lexemes) and exocentric (1 lexeme). The lexical meanings of all 79 lexicons were analyzed, while cultural meanings were identified in 13 lexicons. Beyond contributing to the documentation of indigenous languages, this study also resulted in the development of an independent curriculum-based teaching module for Grade VII Indonesian language instruction in junior high schools. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for language revitalization efforts and the integration of cultural values into Indonesian language education, particularly in the fields of lexicography and ethnolinguistics.

Proverbs have long been used as a means of expressing thoughts and ideas. Animal play an essential role in human life, making them a common elemnt in many proverbs. Both China and Indonesia ar rich in animal species, and this is reflected in their proverbs, which often include animal-related terms. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of dynamic balance on 400- meter running performance. The experimental method with a Pre-Test and Post-Test design was applied to 20 students from the Sports Coaching Education Program at Tanjungpura University. Participants underwent three types of treatments: zig-zag hopping with one foot, walking straight with a bottle on the head, and heel walking. The results showed a significant improvement in running speed after the treatments. The average running time before treatment was 1 minute and 21 seconds, which decreased to 53 seconds after the treatment. Statistical tests confirmed a significant effect of dynamic balance exercises on running performance. This study concludes that dynamic balance training effectively enhances speed, agility, and neuromuscular coordination, which are crucial for athletic performance. Additionally, incorporating these exercises in routine training may help prevent injuries by improving postural stability and movement efficiency. Coaches and athletes should prioritize balance exercises as a fundamental component of sports training to optimize endurance, strength, and overall performance in competitive running.

Abstract

This research aims to describe anxiety and defense mechanisms in the novel Namaku Alam 1 by Leila S. Chudori and its implementation in Indonesian language teaching. The study employs a descriptive method with a qualitative research approach. The approach used is literary psychology based on Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The research data consist of excerpts, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs. Data collection techniques involve documentary study. The data collection tool is the researcher themself, who serves as the key instrument in this research, along with the use of books, note cards, writing tools, and markers. The results of the study show that objective anxiety in this novel is experienced by the characters Yu Kenanga, Alam, Bu Warsih, and Bimo, while neurotic anxiety is found in the characters Ibu and Alam. The defense mechanism of rationalization occurs with a substitute motive to cover up the real motive, while the defense mechanism is employed to protect oneself, ultimately leading to self-destruction. The teaching module is prepared for the Indonesian language subject, phase F, grade XII in senior high school.

Abstract

Signboards are a type of visual communication that we use on a daily basis as general markers to transmit information for specialized reasons. The geosemiotic theory technique is used in this study. The goal of the study is to thoroughly examine how signboards and the physical world interact. The Gaia Bumi Raya Shopping Center in Kubu Raya is the site of the study. The research design is qualitative and employs a descriptive method. Techniques for gathering data include interviews and documentation. The field's findings show 21 directional signboards with a white background and monolingual English, together with font selections and sign placement that are strongly tied to the physical environment. In this study, the method used is the descriptive method. The descriptive method is used by researchers to represent field data in the form of nameplates, reflecting the identity of Gaia Bumi Raya. This method is also very flexible and easy to use in field research, especially in recording observation results directly without data manipulation. The form of research used in this study is qualitative.
