Abstract

 AbstractCan the Edutainment method improve students' learning outcomes in Thematic Class 1 lesson of North Pontianak 2nd Elementary School. The research method used in this research is descriptive method with form of collaborative class action research. Research subjects of students and teachers of class I with the number of students 27. This research is done III cycle and each cycle consists of 1 meeting. The results obtained are the ability of teachers to plan learning by using Edutainment method with the total score in the first cycle is 14.40 or 2.88 average. In cycle II the total score increased to 15.67 or 3.13 in average. In cycle III the total score increased to 16.00 or 3.20 average. The results obtained by the ability of teachers in implementing learning by using Edutainment method with a total cycle score I 13.21 or 3.30 average. In cycle II the total score 14.46 or 3.61 average. In total cycle III 15.08 or 3.77 average. In this study the student learning outcomes also increased with student learning outcomes, the first cycle of 86.30, the second cycle of 89.26, and the third cycle of 90.00. From the data obtained shows that the use of Edutainment method can improve the ability of teachers in planning, melaksanakandan student learning outcomes in class ICT learningKeywords: Metode Edutainment, Pembelajaran Tematik

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to explain conceptual understanding and procedural fluency in terms of student learning style on linear inequality material one variable. The method that was use in this research is descriptive method with case study form. There were 34 students participated in class VII SMP Darut Tauhid  Kubu Raya as the subject in this research. The instrument of data collecting are written test to reveal the conceptual understanding and procedural fluency, questionnaire to categorize the students based on their learning style and interview as the followup activity. The results of the data analysis show that conceptual understanding in students who have visual learning style and kinesthetic learning style included in medium category, whereas in auditory learning style  include in low category. Procedural fluency in all of students who have visual learning style, auditory learning style and kinesthetic learning style  included in very low categories.Keyword : Conceptual Understanding, Procedural Fluency, Learning Style

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aimed to describe student learning outcomes in learning natural sciences using the demonstration method in class in the fifth grade public elementary school 08 Trans Magamagan Bengkayang. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques and document scrutiny techniques with data collection tools namely observation sheets and document scoping sheets. The subjects in the study were students of class III Public Elementary School 08 Trans Magamagan Bengkayang totaling 12 people.The results of the study showed that the learning implementation plan (RPP) from cycle I was 3.17, cycle II was 3.32. The results of the study of the implementation of learning from the first cycle were 2.37, the second cycle was 3.56. The results of the learning outcomes of the first cycle average value of 63.33, cycle II an average value of 90. Based on the data obtained it can be concluded that there is an increase in each cycle. Thus research on the application of the class III learning method of learning Natural Sciences can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Learning Natural Science, Demonstration Method

Abstract

 AbstractThis reseach aims to determine the student’s conceptual understanding on the material of space build was viewed from the analogy reasoning ability in class IX SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Method used was descriptive in form case study. The subjects were 34 students. Data collector in this research use student answer sheet and interview result. The results showed that students with high, medium and low analogy reasoning ability level tend to had medium conceptual understanding categories. In general it can be concluded that the conceptual understanding of the students of class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya varies for each level of analogy reasoning ability. Students with high analogy reasoning ability level do not always have high conceptual categories of understanding, students with medium analogy reasoning ability levels do not always have medium conceptual understanding categories, and students with low analogy reasoning ability level do not always have low conceptual understanding categories. Keywords: Conceptual Understanding, Analogy reasoning ability, Space Build.

Abstract

AbstractReading the beginning for ages 5-6 years is included in the field of basic development, especially the concept of literacy, namely recognizing letter symbols, mention the letters symbols that are known, recognize the sound of the initial letters of the names of objects around it, mention groups of images that have the same initial sound / letter, understand the relationship between sound and letter form, read their own names and write their own names. The purpose of this study was to describe the efforts of teachers in introducing early reading to children aged 5-6 years at TK Kanaan Kubu Raya. With the number of teacher subject observations totaling 4 people. The efforts of teachers in introducing initial reading to students which have been applied using the spell method show very significant results. In introducing early reading to children, the teacher then combines letters into syllables using the method the child institution is able to combine letters into open words quite well. Children love the initial reading activity with the spelling method through singing activities, they have had enough good development. Strengthening is very important given in the initial reading process so that the development of the child's ability to develop optimally as a provision to proceed to the next stage.Keywords: Reading Beginnings, Spelling Methods, Institutional Word Methods

Abstract

 AbstractThis is a study on increasing students? skill of writing recount text through the use of WhatsApp on the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak in academic year 2018/2019. The method implemented in this research was Pre-Experimental research with single group pre-test and post-test design. The subjects of the research were 35 students of class X IPA 1, the writer took the sample by using cluster random sampling. The data were collected through written test. Referring to the research findings, it was showed that the use of WhatsApp gave a positive contribution to the students? writing achievement of recount text. The use of WhatsApp to teach writing of recount text is succeeded in increasing students? writing achievement of recount text. Thus, the writer recommends the teacher to use WhatsApp in teaching learning process, to not only teach writing but also speaking, reading, and listening.Key Words: Writing, Recount Text, WhatsApp.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini mendiskripsikan tentang Penerapan metode inkuiri dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 02 Sungai Duri. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk Penelitian Tindakan  Kelas. subjek penelitian ini  adalah guru sebagai peneliti dan 21 siswa kelas IV. Berdasarkan analisis data kemampuan guru menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran siklus I rata- rata   3.01   menjadi   rata-rata   3.36   pada   siklus   II.   Kemampuan   guru melaksanakan pembelajaran Siklus I rata-rata 2.58 menjadi rata-rata 3.02 pada siklus II. Hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I rata-rata 45.71 dengan persentase ketuntasan 42.85%, meningkat menjadi rata-rata 66.66 dengan persentase  ketuntasan  80.95 %  pada  siklus  II.  Berdasarkan  pembahasan tersebut diambil kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran melalui metode inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 02 Sungai Duri.   Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, IPA, Metode Inkuiri   Abstract: This study describes the purpose of the Application of the method of inquiry in improving learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students of SDN 02 Sungai Duri. The method used is descriptive method with the form of classroom action research. The research subjects were teachers as researchers and 21 students of class IV. Based on the data analysis capabilities of teachers prepare lesson planning cycle I mean 3:01 to an average of 3:36 in the second cycle. The ability of teachers to implement learning cycle I mean 2:58 to an average of 3:02 in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes of the first cycle an average of 45.71 with the percentage of completeness 42.85%, increasing to an average of 66.66 with 80.95% the percentage of completeness in the second cycle. Based on these discussions be concluded that learning through inquiry method can improve learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students of SDN 02 Sungai Duri.   Keywords: Results Learning, Natural Sciences, Methods of Inquiry

Abstract

AbstractThis study is aimed to develop Student Worksheet based on discovery learning on the sub-lesson about heart and human circulatory process, as well as to discover students’ responses to the product developed. Research and Development (R&D) conducted consists of 7 stages: research and data collection, planning, product draft development, limited product testing, revision, main field test, and revision to the operational product. The product was approved by 2 validators to measure the feasibility by evaluating the contents, language, course, and graphic aspects. The test was done to determine the students’ responses in the cognitive, affective, and conative aspects. The subjects in this study are the 11th-grade Mathematics and Natural Sciences students of SMAN 7 Pontianak, MAN 1 Pontianak, and SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. The validation of each aspect showed a value of 1.00, categorized as very high. Limited trials showed that the averages of cognitive, affective, and conative dimensions were respectively 83.33%, 80.86%, and 84.44%, as well as the main field test averaged respectively 83,71%, 81,17%, and 84,16%. Therefore, the Student Worksheet based on discovery learning is feasible to be used as the teaching material. With very strong responses, determined that the response given by the learners is highly positive. Keywords: Discovery Learning, Heart and Human Circulatory Process, Response, Student Worksheet.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to review the role of teachers in provide the motivation to learn students in SMAN 2 sengah temila Landak. The methodology used is descriptive of the qualitative study. Data source of this research is teachers and students class XII ips1, ips2, ips3 and The data is how teachers give attention, gift, reward, The consequent punishment of the in motivating of students to study the results of interviews with teachers and students. The Research shows that the teacher is done by teachers in providing student learning /increase the motivation is good, Gifts to by teachers to students is not optimal, This is only done for gifts  on each semester and every increase class only, While the award by the teacher to student has been good enough, It was because the award by teachers for students and get a good appreciation, While the penalty to students done by teachers with right, Teachers give that penalty to students with advise, Scold and punish students in accordance with the students what it can be overcome by teachers.Keywords : The teacher motivate, student learning

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 12 Nyonak. Metode penelitiannya deskriptif, bentuk penelitiannya penelitian tindakan kelas dan sifat penelitiannya kolaboratif. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan rata-rata. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus. 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif pada siklus I rata-rata 2,92. Siklus II memiliki rata-rata 3,53, meningkat 0,61, dikategoriakan baik sekali. 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I rata-rata 3,11. Siklus II memiliki rata-rata 3,48, meningkat 0,37, dikategorigan baik. 3) Hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial menggunakan model kooperatif pada siklus I memiliki rata-rata 53,68. Siklus II memiliki rata-rata 71,58, meningkat 17,9.
