Abstract

Abstark: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi tari Ngantar Panompo dalam upacara adat Naik Dango pada suku Dayak Kanayatn. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif, dengan sumber data Agus Frengki, Saena, Laitus dan Adang yang mengetahui tentang tari Ngantar Panompo dan upacara adat Naik Dango. Data tersebut adalah hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa fungsi tari Ngantar Panompo adalah sebagai ritual terakhir atau penutup dalam upacara adat Naik Dango. Tari Ngantar Panompo adalah tari yang bersifat ritual, tujuannya untuk meringankan beban dengan memberikan Panompo atau upeti berupa hasil pertanian dan peternakan untuk tuan rumah yang mengadakan upacara.   Kata Kunci: Fungsi, Tari Ngantar Panompo, Naik Dango. Abstract: The aim of this research is to known the fungtion of Ngantar Panompo Dance in Naik Dango Traditional Ceremonies on Dayak Kanayatn. The method that is used in this research is descriftive in from qualitative, when the source of the data are coming from Agus Frengki, Saena, Laitus and Adang which are known fully about Ngantar Panompo dance in Sungai Ambawang District. Moreover, the writer used interview, observation and documentation as the technique. The result of data analysis showed that the fungtion of Ngantar Panompo dance is the last rites or closing in Naik Dango Traditional Ceremonies. Ngantar Panompo dance is a ritual dance, aims to ease the burden by giving tribute or Panompo in the form of agricultural and livestock for host the ceremony.   Key word: Fungtion, Tari Ngantar Panompo, Naik Dango.

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to determine the skills of reading the students of class V students of State Elementary School 16 Pontianak City. The research method used in this research is descriptive method and the nature of research that is qualitative. The data source is VA class student which amounts to 27 people. The place of study took place at State Elementary School 16 Pontianak City, especially in VA class and the research time of odd semester 2017. Data collection techniques used are observation sheet and document scrutiny sheet with data collection tool that is the assessment sheet of card media planning and observation sheet of card media implementation , as well as test questions. From the data that has been obtained can be concluded that the ability of teachers to design learning (RPP) using the steps of the average media card score for the cycle I of 3.49, cycle II of 3.60, and in the third cycle of 3.86 included category well, the ability of teachers to implement the average on the first cycle of 3.02, in cycle II average score 3.63 and in cycle III average score 3.94 including good media category in advance and use time as well as possible . Improving students' reading comprehension skills, based on the results of the test in the first cycle average score of 55.57, on the second cycle average score of 76.74 and in cycle III the average score of 78.70. This means that the application of card media on reading comprehension material is good and can improve learning result Indonesian Grade V students of Dasra Negeri 16 Pontianak Kota School. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan seberapa baik penampilan berpidato siswa dalam mata kuliah “Speech”, mendeskripsikan masalah masalah berbicara yang paling dominan dalam mata kuliah “Speech”,  dan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana persiapan siswa sebelum menyampaikan pidato mereka dalam mata kuliah pidato yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa semester ketiga Program Bahasa Inggris di Akademi Bahasa Asing Pontianak Tahun Akademik  2012 – 2013. Penelitian ini melibatkan 20 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sebagian besar siswa menghadapi masalah baik linguistik dan non - linguistik ketika berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris . Data menunjukkan masalah yang paling dominan dalam berbicara untuk aspek linguistik adalah kelancaran dan kemampuan memahami sedangkan sebagian besar masalah berbicara dalam aspek non - linguistik adalah kontak mata dan gerakan tubuh . Disamping itu, hasil dari kuisioner menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa telah melakukan persiapan sebelum memberikan pidato , meskipun mereka melakukan persiapan dengan cara yang berbeda . Kata kunci : masalah siswa dalam berbicara Bahasa Inggris, pidato   Abstract: The purpose of this research are to describe how well the students’ speech performance in speech subject is, to describe students’ speaking problem in speech subject, to find out the most dominant speaking problems in speech subject and to describe how the students’ preparation before delivering their speech in speech subject faced by the third semester students of English Program of Akademi Bahasa Asing Pontianak in Academic Year 2012 – 2013. This research involved 20 students of class 2B1. The method of this research was descriptive research. Based on research finding, most of the students faced both linguistic and non-linguistic problems when speaking English. The data showed the most speaking problems in linguistic aspects are fluency and comprehensibility, while the most of speaking problems in non-linguistic aspect are eye contact and gesture. However, the result based on the questionnaire showed that most of the students implemented the preparation before delivering the speech, although they implemented the preparation in different ways. Abstract

Abstract Students' creative thinking ability is one of their abilities that must be developed in Mathematics learning process. In fact, many teachers at school didn't give their attention to this ability. By knowing students' ability and students' creative thinking process, teacher will be able to know students' potential and talent. This research aimed to describe students' ability to think creatively in solving open ended question in grade IX SMP. This research was a descriptive research. Subject of this research was one of class IX which consists of 21 students. Data was collected by some instruments to assess students' ability to think creatively, they are test or open ended questions. The result of this research showed that students' ability in thinking creatively was categorized as good, with the percentage of students' mean score was 60.42%. The percentage of fluency reached 76.19% which categorized as good, the percentage of flexibility reached 80.95% which categorized as very good, the percentage of originality reached 63.09% which categorized as enough, and the percentage of ellaboration reached 21.43% which categorized as less. Flexibility aspect was the most dominant ability to appear, while elaboration aspect was the least dominant ability to appear. Keywords: creative thinking, open-ended problem, problem solving

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik menggunakan metode penugasan pada pembelajaran Matematika pada peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 8 Sungai Pinyuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 8 Sungai Pinyuh sebanyak 15 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi langsung Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sesuai dengan teknik yang telah dipilih yaitu lembar observasi. Kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran siklus I mencapai skor 3,22 dan pada siklus II menjadi 3,69 terjadi peningkatan sebesar 0,47 peningkatan aktivitas belajar Pada siklus I mencapai rata-rata 56,66% dan pada siklus II mencapai 78,33%, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 21,67%. Kata Kunci: aktivitas belajar, metode penugasan, matematika Abstract : This study aims to describe the implementation of learning and increase the learners' learning activities using the assignment method of learning mathematics learner Elementary School Fifth Grade 8 Sungai Pinyuh. The method used is descriptive method. Form of research used in this study was a survey. This study is qualitative and is the subject of this study learners Elementary School Fifth Grade 8 Sungai Pinyuh 15 people. This study uses the technique of direct observation data collection tool used in this study in accordance with the techniques that have been the observation sheet. Ability of teachers to implement the learning cycle I achieved a score of 3.22 and the second cycle to 3.69 an increase of 0.47 increase in the activity of learning the first cycle at an average of 56.66% and the second cycle reached 78.33%, an increase of 21.67%. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengunaan metode demonstrasi berbantuan media torso dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 05 Mareseng Kecamatan Suti Semarang Kabupaten Bengkayang. Metode penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian menggunakan model penelitian tindakan kelas bersifat kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian tindakkan kelas adalah guru sebagai peneliti, siswa kelas IV SDN 05 Mareseng berjumlah 23 orang, 21 orang laki-laki dan 2 orang perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi langsung. Teknik observasi ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pedoman yang sudah tertera dalam indikator yang amati. Berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh terhadap aktivitas siswa dalam belajar IPA adalah metode demonstrasi berbantuan media torso dapat  meningkatkan aktivitas belajar terlihat dari persentase aktivitas siswa pada siklus I  sebesar 39,13% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 65,93%. Jadi persentase peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan media torso sebesar 26,80%. Simpulan:  Pembelajaran IPA terjadi peningkatan sebesar 3,48, peningkatan melaksanakan pembelajaran sebesar 3,39, dan aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat  65,93%. Kata Kunci:  metode demonstrasi,aktivitas belajar, pembelajaran ilmu   pengetahuan alam, media torso.   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the use of methods of demonstration aided torso media can increase the activity of the fourth grade students of SDN 05 Mareseng Suti District of Semarang Bengkayang. The method is a descriptive study. Form of research using the model is collaborative action research. Tindakkan research subjects classroom is the teacher as researcher, fourth grade students of SDN 05 Mareseng were 23 people, 21 men and 2 women. Data collection techniques such as direct observation. This observation is done by using the guidelines that have been set forth in the observed indicators. Based on the analysis of data obtained on the activities of students in learning science is a method of assisted demonstration torso media can enhance learning activity seen from the percentage of student activity on the first cycle of 39.13% and in the second cycle increased to 65.93%. So the percentage increase in student learning activities with media torso of 26.80%. Conclusion: Learning science an increase of 3.48, an increase of 3.39 implementing learning and student learning activity increased 65.93%.   Keywords: demonstration methods, learning activities, learning science, media torso.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine feasibility of practicum instructions based on the local wisdom of the Tekalong hamlet community on sub acidic material sub discussion of acid base indicators. Research on plants used as natural dyes by the people of Tekalong hamlet used a snowball sampling technique. The form of this research is Research and Development, according to Borg & Gall following the research steps, namely: (1) research and information gathering; (2) planning; (3) development of the initial form of the product; (4) initial field test; (5) product revisions; (6) main field test; (7) revision of operational products. This research uses indirect communication techniques with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires consisting of feasibility questionnaires (language, graphics, material) and student response questionnaires to practical instructions. The percentage of linguist scores was 87.12% (very high), graphic experts 85.19% (very high), and material experts 90.75% (very high). The percentage of assessment sheets for students responses to the initial field test and the main field trials were 87.63% (very high) and 90.67% (very high). Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the practicum instructions of the Tekalong hamlet community on the sub-acid acid material sub discussion of acid-base indicators are appropriate to be used and receive good responses (very high criteria) from students. Keywords : Practicum Intructions, Local Wisdom, Natural Dyes

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine effect of Jigsaw type cooperative learning models on learning outcomes in learning geography in class XI IPS Senior High School 1 Pontianak. The Research Method is an experimental method in the form of a Quasi Experimental Design Research with a Nonquivalent Control Group Design. The research population was all students of class XI IPS Senior High School 1 Pontianak with a sample of 64 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Research instruments in the form of a final test in the form of multiple choice questions amounted to 40. The final test calculation results obtained an average of 85.400 experimental class and an average of 79.735 control class with a tcount of 4.172 and a table of 1.999. Through on tcount> ttable, means Ha is rejected then,there is differences in student learning outcomes in geography learning that applies the Jigsaw cooperative model with those that apply the group discussion learning method in class XI IPS Senior High School 1 Pontianak. Based on the results of the calculation of the effect size obtained d value of 0.934. This proves that the Jigsaw type cooperative model has a high influence on student learning outcomes in class XI IPS of Senior High School 1 Pontianak.Keyword: Cooperatif Jigsaw Model, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the influence of remediation using make a match learning model to decrease in the number of students mistakes in solving problems of the static fluid on grade XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The research method is a pre-experimental design with the one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this research is 26 students. The results of this research are the average of students physical mistakes before remediation by 49,04%, whereas after remediation amounted to 18,96%. The average of students' mathematical mistakes before remediation by 53,02%, whereas after remediation amounted to 11,26%. The average decrease in the number of students physical mistakes after remediation by 61,34%, while the average decrease in the number of students' mathematical mistakes after remediation of 78,76%. Wilcoxon test analysis results indicate that the remediation using make a match learning model influences significantly to decrease in the number of students physical and mathematical mistakes in solving problems of the static fluid. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan rancangan one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 26 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu rata-rata kesalahan fisis siswa sebelum diremediasi sebesar 49,04%, sedangkan setelah diremediasi menjadi sebesar 18,96%. Rata-rata kesalahan matematis siswa sebelum diremediasi sebesar 53,02%, sedangkan setelah diremediasi menjadi sebesar 11,26%. Rata-rata penurunan jumlah kesalahan fisis siswa setelah diremediasi sebesar 61,34%, sedangkan rata-rata penurunan jumlah kesalahan matematis siswa setelah diremediasi sebesar 78,76%. Hasil analisis uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa remediasi menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penurunan jumlah kesalahan fisis dan matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal fluida statis. Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to improve students’ ability to comprehend spoof text using reciprocal technique. The writer applied classroom action research in three cycles. The subjects of this research were the eleventh grade students, science 2 class, in SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak, academic year 2013/2014. There were 36 students in that class, yet only 35 who came in the whole cycles were analyzed. The data was collected using observation checklist, field notes and written test. The technique applied in this research is the reciprocal technique which is consisted of predicting, questioning, clarifying and summarizing. It revealed that the students improved their score of the test. Students’ average score in the first cycle was 64 which then improved in the second (77) and third cycles (83.1). There are three main features of the spoof text analyzed; main idea and detailed information, language features identification and the twist. Key words: Reciprocal, Spoof text, Reading Comprehension Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa untuk memahami teks spoof menggunakan teknik resiprokal. Peneliti menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dalam tiga siklus. Subyek Penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 11 Ipa 2 SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak TA 2013/2014. Ada 36 siswa, namun hanya 35 siswa yang mengikuti keseluruhan siklus yang akan dianalisis. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan ceklis observasi, catatan lapangan dan tes tertulis. Teknik yang diaplikasikan di penelitian ini adalah teknik resiprokal, yang terdiri atas memprediksi, bertanya, klarifikasi dan menyimpulkan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai siswa meningkat di tiap siklus. Rerata nilai siswa di tiap siklus adalah 64, 77, dan 83.1. Ada tiga hal utama dari teks spoof yang menjadi poin penelitian, yaitu ide pokok dan informasi detail, identifikasi fitur bahasa, dan twist dari teks spoof.
