Abstract

Game Based Learning merupakan salah satu model yang memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa sekolah dasar, adapun salah satu komponen penting dalam proses pembelajaran harus ada minat belajar dalam diri tiap siswa, dengan adanya minat siswa dapat memunculkan rasa semangat belajar yang akan membuat siswa menunjukkan kemudahan dalam menerima arahan lalu mampu menyelesaikan tugas dengan baik dan cenderung memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model Game- Based Learning dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa SD dengan metode penilitian yang dipilih yaitu studi liteatur. Berdasarkan artikel yang pilih dibatasi terbitan tahun 2021 sampai dengan 2025  sebagai sumber utama yang akan dianalisis. Hasil penelitian yang didapat yaitu menunjukkan bahwa Game-Based Learning memiliki kemampuan besar untuk digunakan sebagai strategi pembelajaran alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This literature review aims to explore the spectrum of visual sensory disorders in humans, focusing on major disorders such as cataracts, glaucoma, and anisometropia. This condition is one of the leading causes of vision impairment and blindness globally, especially in developing countries. The study synthesizes findings from recent national and international scientific publications to identify the causes of preventable and unpreventable visual dysfunction. Cataracts, often associated with aging and systemic diseases, remain the most common cause of blindness but can be treated through surgical interventions such as phacoemulsification. Glaucoma, known for its asymptomatic progression, causes irreversible damage to the optic nerve and requires early detection and ongoing treatment. Anisometropia, a refractive disorder that results in different visual inputs between the eyes, poses a risk of amblyopia if not treated early. In addition, the study highlights the increasing incidence of visual impairment due to excessive use of digital devices, especially among children, emphasizing the importance of precautions such as regulated screen time and regular eye check-ups. These findings emphasize the important role of early intervention, public awareness, and access to quality eye care in reducing the burden of visual impairment. The review also underscores the need for policy and research support to improve treatment strategies and maintain visual health in the digital age.

Abstract

Sistem ekskresi manusia memainkan peran krusial dalam detoksifikasi tubuh melalui mekanisme kompleks yang melibatkan organ-organ seperti ginjal, hati, dan kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses detoksifikasi sistem ekskresi melalui metode studi literatur sistematis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ginjal menyaring sekitar 180 liter darah per hari untuk mengeliminasi senyawa toksik seperti urea dan kreatinin, sementara hati melakukan detoksifikasi kimiawi melalui dua fase utama yang melibatkan enzim sitokrom P450 dan konjugasi molekul. Kulit juga berkontribusi melalui ekskresi keringat, terutama untuk logam berat. Faktor nutrisi, hidrasi, dan paparan toksin kronis secara signifikan memengaruhi efisiensi detoksifikasi. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi klinis penting, termasuk rekomendasi pemantauan rutin kadar kreatinin dan enzim hati, serta intervensi nutrisi untuk meningkatkan glutation intrahepatik. Studi ini menyoroti perlunya penelitian lebih lanjut tentang peran mikrobiota usus dan dampak penuaan pada kapasitas detoksifikasi.

Abstract

Central nervous system (CNS) injuries such as stroke are a leading cause of global disability (51 million DALYs), with a prevalence in Indonesia reaching 10.9% (GBD, 2019; Riskesdas, 2018). Neuroplasticity through BDNF-dependent synaptic plasticity mechanisms (Kowianski et al., 2018) and tDCS-mediated cortical reorganization (Lefaucheur et al., 2022) offers rehabilitation solutions, but their implementation faces challenges due to genetic variability (BDNF Val66Met) and technological access disparities (Siregar et al., 2023). This article aims to: Analyze BDNF-tDCS interactions at molecular and clinical levels.Evaluate the effectiveness of tDCS based on recent evidence (2019–2024).Formulate low-cost implementation strategies for Indonesia.The methodology involves a systematic PRISMA review of 45 studies from PubMed, Scopus, and ScienceDirect. The analysis includes:  Meta-analysis of tDCS effects on motor recovery (RevMan 5.4). Policy analysis using the WHO framework for essential health technologies. Key findings indicate: BDNF levels >35 ng/mL enhance motor recovery by 2.3x (95% CI: 1.8–3.1; p<0.001). tDCS significantly improves motor function (23.5%, p<0.01), but only in BDNF Val/Val genotypes.Implementation cost: Portable tDCS protocols (Rp500,000/unit) are 90% cheaper than TMS.Integration of BDNF genotype screening, standardized tDCS protocols, and policy advocacy can optimize CNS rehabilitation in Indonesia. This study provides the first evidence-based guide combining neuroscience and health policy.

Abstract

Currently, there are so many students who do not have the awareness to be responsible according to their age. This often happens to students who are teenagers. The low awareness of responsibility in students certainly greatly interferes with the effectiveness of their lives so that appropriate efforts are needed in this case, namely group guidance. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in awareness of responsibility as teenagers in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Medan. The research method used was guidance and counseling action research (PTBK) which was carried out through 2 cycles. The research subjects used were 8 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results of this study were that in the pre-cycle, students were at a low awareness of responsibility with an average score of 38.6. In cycle I, there was an increase so that students' awareness of responsibility was in the low category with an average score of 61.25. After cycle II was implemented, students experienced a significant increase in awareness with an average score of 84.75. Thus, group guidance services are stated to be able to increase awareness of responsibility as teenagers in students.

Abstract

This study aims to reduce insecurity levels among adolescents through the application of group counseling using the Cognitive Restructuring technique. The research employed a Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) method across two cycles, involving six eighth-grade students from SMPN 10 Medan identified as having high levels of insecurity. The Cognitive Restructuring technique is designed to help individuals shift negative thinking patterns into more rational and adaptive ones. The results showed a decrease in the average insecurity score from 44.83 (pre-test) to 37.17 (post-test), with a significance value of 0.026 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of the intervention. Normality tests and paired t-tests confirmed the effectiveness of the counseling approach. Thus, group counseling using the Cognitive Restructuring technique has been proven effective in helping adolescents overcome feelings of insecurity and improve their self-confidence.

Abstract

Difficulty in socializing in adolescents is still a common problem from the past until now. Students who have difficulty socializing will certainly feel some negative impacts that can hinder the effectiveness of life and the optimization of their potential. Therefore, an effort needs to be made to overcome this problem. One effort that can be made is to implement group guidance services. The purpose of this study is to examine in more depth the success of implementing group guidance services in overcoming difficulties in socializing in class VIII students of UPT SPF SMP N 1 Patumbak  Deli Serdang. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. This study involved a sample of 8 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments used were observation and interview guides. After group guidance was given, it was known that there was a change in a more positive direction related to students' socializing abilities. so that it can be understood that the implementation of group guidance was successful in overcoming difficulties in socializing in students.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan siswa di jenjang pendidikan menengah. Namun, pada kenyataannya, siswa kelas XI sering mengalami penurunan motivasi akibat tekanan akademik yang tinggi, ketidakseimbangan waktu, serta pengaruh sosial dari lingkungan pertemanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran layanan bimbingan kelompok dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI di SMAN 15 Medan. Kajian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, memanfaatkan metode studi pustaka dan wawancara sebagai sumber data utama. Subjek penelitian adalah lima siswa yang mengikuti layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan pendekatan Person-Centered, yang memungkinkan peserta secara bebas dan terbuka mengungkapkan perasaan serta menemukan solusi dari dalam diri mereka sendiri dengan dukungan lingkungan kelompok. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa sebelum mengikuti layanan, siswa menunjukkan gejala seperti kehilangan semangat, kurangnya kejelasan tujuan akademik, serta rendahnya kepercayaan diri. Namun setelah sesi bimbingan kelompok, terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar, terbentuknya komitmen akademik yang lebih kuat, dan tumbuhnya kepercayaan diri dalam menghadapi tantangan belajar. Suasana kelompok yang suportif dan interaktif menjadi faktor pendukung utama keberhasilan layanan ini. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok tidak hanya efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar, tetapi juga perlu dijadikan bagian integral dari program bimbingan dan konseling secara berkelanjutan di sekolah.

Abstract

Learning becomes more impactful when students can identify and understand core scientific ideas, and one effective way to support this is by assessing their KPS during learning. To achieve this, educators can use assessment tools that are aligned with specific KPS indicators. In addition, there is currently no specific assessment tool that targets KPS in the context of the topic of plant regulatory systems. This study aims to produce a product in the form of a valid science process skills (KPS) instrument in biology learning on plant regulatory system material in class XI SMA. This type of research is research and development that adopts Plomp's development model which consists of three main stages, where this research is limited to two stages, namely preliminary research and prototyping phase. This research used Tessemer's formative approach which includes the stages of self evaluation and expert review. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Data collection instruments used interview sheets and expert validity questionnaires (expert review). Produk yang dikembangkan divalidasi dalam lima aspek penilaian, yaitu aspek materi, aspek konstruksi, aspek bahasa,aspek  kegrafikaan, dan aspek Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) oleh 2 validator dosen biologi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai validitas instrumen yaitu validasi ahli aspek materi 90%, aspek konstruksi 95%, aspek bahasa 91,6%, aspek kegrafikaan 87,5%, dan validasi aspek KPS 75%. Kesimpulan: instrumen tes keterampilan proses sains pada materi sistem regulasi tumbuhan dinyatakan valid.

Abstract

Manajemen waktu merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting yang berperan besar dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pekerjaan di lingkungan kantor. Pengelolaan waktu yang baik memungkinkan pegawai untuk menyelesaikan tugas secara tepat waktu, meminimalisir stres kerja, dan meningkatkan produktivitas secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana penerapan strategi manajemen waktu berdampak pada efisiensi dan kualitas hasil kerja karyawan kantor. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah studi literatur dan observasi terhadap praktik manajemen waktu di beberapa instansi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa karyawan yang menerapkan teknik perencanaan, penetapan prioritas, dan pengendalian waktu kerja secara konsisten cenderung lebih efektif dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugasnya. Selain itu, penerapan manajemen waktu juga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kepuasan kerja dan pengurangan beban kerja berlebih. Dengan demikian, manajemen waktu yang optimal menjadi salah satu faktor kunci dalam mendukung pencapaian tujuan organisasi secara efisien dan berkelanjutan.
