Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of verbal reinforcement in the form of praise on students' learning motivation in the Pancasila Education subject in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Kampung Rakyat in the 2024-2025 Academic Year. The approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that verbal reinforcement in the form of praise has a significant effect on increasing students' learning motivation, the results of a simple linear regression equation are obtained as follows: Y = 43.345 + 0.408X1. Based on these calculations, it can be seen that the linear regression coefficient value of the Verbal Reinforcement (Praise) variable (X) is 0.408 with a positive sign at sig 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05. So, it can be interpreted that Verbal Reinforcement (Praise) (X) has a positive effect on the Pancasila Education Learning Motivation of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Kampung Rakyat (Y). This shows that with every good Verbal Reinforcement (Praise) (X), there will be an increase in the Motivation to Learn Pancasila Education of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Kampung Rakyat 0.408. This finding indicates that the use of verbal reinforcement such as praise can be an effective strategy for teachers in increasing student learning motivation, especially in the subject of Pancasila Education. Therefore, verbal reinforcement is recommended as part of teaching practices to create a positive learning environment and support student development holistically

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the inclusion program in improving the academic and social achievement of students with special needs (SBK) at SDN Ciracas 15 Pagi. The inclusion program is an effort to provide equal access to education for SBK by providing a learning environment that supports their individual needs. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the inclusion program at SDN Ciracas 15 Pagi has had a positive impact on SBK's academic and social development. From an academic perspective, there is an increase in SBK's reading, writing and arithmetic abilities through the application of adaptive learning methods. Meanwhile, from a social aspect, interactions between SBK and regular students show significant development, with SBK's increased self-confidence and communication skills in the school environment. The success of this program is supported by the role of special mentoring teachers (GPK), curriculum adjustments, and support for inclusive learning facilities.

Abstract

The use of the TikTok application has become a very popular phenomenon among teenagers and young people, affecting various aspects of their lives, including social behavior and politeness. TikTok, as a video sharing platform, not only provides entertainment, but also functions as a means of communication that affects the way users interact and behave in everyday life. Based on the results of interviews and observations, it was found that boys claimed that TikTok did not affect their politeness, but observations showed that they often said bad words, made noise in class, and imitated expressions and gestures from TikTok. In contrast, female students admitted that TikTok affected their lives, for example by using bad words when angry. Several students, such as SA, AN, and RA, had imitated the behavior they saw on TikTok, including swearing when provoked. They also showed indifference to calls from parents or older siblings when they were busy watching TikTok content. This study also showed differences in attitudes towards trends on TikTok, where male students did not feel pressured to follow trends, while female students felt excluded if they did not have a TikTok account. The results of this study revealed that the use of TikTok has different impacts on the behavior of male and female students. Although TikTok can be a means of having fun and reducing stress, its impact on politeness and social interaction shows the importance of developing soft skills in children in facing the challenges of this digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the level of achievement of students' developmental tasks in order to be used as a reference in knowing the development that occurs in students, especially in the digital era. The approach used is a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. The population of the study was 23 fourth grade students at an Elementary School in Tasikmalaya Regency. The technique used was a saturated sampling technique, namely all members of the population were used as samples. The instrument for collecting data on the achievement of developmental tasks was the Developmental Task Inventory (ITP) with the help of Developmental Task Analysis (ATP) software as software that makes it easy to process ITP quickly and efficiently. The results of this study indicate that the level of student development is at the self-protection level with an average development level of 2.85, a standard deviation of 0.19, and a coefficient of variance of 6.76%. Based on these results, special attention and assistance are needed for students so that students achieve ideal development, namely at the level of self-aware development.

Abstract

The efficiency of education budget utilization in public schools in Mahakam Ulu is a crucial aspect in ensuring optimal learning quality. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of education budget management, identify existing challenges, and formulate strategies to enhance budget efficiency in public schools in the region. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this research, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that budget planning has been carried out collaboratively, involving various stakeholders. However, challenges persist in terms of data accuracy, delays in fund disbursement, and complex administrative regulations. Additionally, the allocated budget is not always sufficient to meet operational needs, particularly in facility procurement and teacher welfare. Indications of budget inefficiencies were identified, particularly in programs that do not significantly impact education quality. Although most schools have implemented transparent and well-documented financial recording systems, limited administrative capacity and infrastructure remain major obstacles in financial reporting and budget management. To improve budget efficiency, schools have begun implementing strategies such as needs-based budgeting, digital financial management, zero-based budgeting, and exploring alternative funding through partnerships with the private sector and local communities. This study recommends more flexible policy support from local governments and the Education Office, enhanced administrative capacity in school financial management, and the implementation of a performance-based funding model to ensure that every budget allocation directly contributes to improving education quality. With more transparent, flexible, and data-driven budget management, education in Mahakam Ulu is expected to continue developing and providing greater benefits to students and the community

Abstract

School financial supervision plays a crucial role in ensuring transparency and accountability in managing education budgets. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the school financial supervision system in Mahakam Ulu in preventing budget misappropriation and to identify the factors influencing its effectiveness. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed in several schools in Mahakam Ulu. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis related to school financial management. The findings reveal that the financial supervision system in Mahakam Ulu schools still faces various challenges, both internal and external. Internal factors affecting the effectiveness of supervision include the limited financial management competencies of school principals and treasurers, as well as a lack of transparency in financial administration. Meanwhile, external factors such as a shortage of auditors, limited periodic supervision by relevant agencies, and geographical constraints also hinder the implementation of effective oversight. Although regulations have established financial supervision mechanisms, their implementation at the school level remains suboptimal, particularly in utilizing technology to enhance transparency and efficiency in financial management. This study recommends several strategies to improve the effectiveness of school financial supervision, including strengthening human resource capacity through more intensive training, optimizing digital systems for financial recording and reporting, and increasing the number of supervisory personnel to ensure more systematic and comprehensive oversight. Additionally, greater involvement of school committees and the community in financial oversight is necessary to enhance transparency and accountability in managing educational funds. By implementing more adaptive and technology-based policies, school financial supervision in Mahakam Ulu is expected to function more effectively and contribute to improving the quality of education in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school leadership in supporting the implementation of differentiated instruction at SMPN 4 Talisayan. Differentiated instruction is an approach that adapts teaching strategies to students' needs, interests, and abilities to enhance learning outcomes and engagement. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis to obtain comprehensive data. The findings indicate that the principal acts as a facilitator, innovator, and motivator in ensuring the successful implementation of differentiated instruction. Key strategies include teacher training and professional development, mentoring and classroom observation, and the provision of policies and resources that support differentiated learning. However, challenges persist, such as resistance to change, limited teacher time for lesson planning, and inadequate supporting facilities. To address these obstacles, the principal fosters a collaborative culture among teachers, provides flexibility in time management, and increases parental and community involvement in supporting student learning. Thus, transformative and adaptive school leadership plays a crucial role in creating an inclusive and responsive learning environment. This study recommends increased support from policymakers in the form of flexible policies, resource provision, and more intensive teacher training programs to ensure the sustainability of differentiated instruction in schools.

Abstract

Various methods and media can be used in learning activities, including memorizing the Koran. This research will focus on improving the tasmi method based on audio-visual media which is utilized in memorizing the Al-Quran. One of the media used is audio visual media. It is believed that the use of media in learning has a very good impact, but in memorizing the Koran it is still rarely used. For this reason, the audio-visual based Tasmi’ method is here to increase students' understanding so that it is easier to memorize the Qur'an. Students perform memorization according to the procedures that have been established during the tasmi' program. The aim of the Tasmi' program is to improve the quality of students' memorization and increase students' self-confidence so they can appear in public. Meanwhile, the supporting factors are students' interests and desires, support and motivation from teachers, support from parents, giving rewards or prizes and encouragement from peers and the school environment.

Abstract

Project Based Learning (Project Based Learning) is a learning model that uses projects or activities as media. In project-based learning, students are involved in real projects that are relevant to Islamic learning material, especially fiqh material. This increases students' understanding of learning, and allows them to apply Islamic religious knowledge in daily life. Project-based learning can improve students' social skills, such as cooperation in groups, communication, and problem solving. Teachers as facilitators give assignments to students to develop their potential. Apart from that, students also develop a deeper understanding of Islamic religious values through direct experience in the projects they work on in teaching and learning activities. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach, collecting data through observation, interviews and document study, qualitative data analysis, as well as interpretation and presentation of findings. The results of the research show that the Project Based Learning model contributes to increasing students' understanding of the concept of Islamic religious education, especially in fiqh material at MTs Al Washliyah Kebun Lada Binjai.

Abstract

This study analyzes the modern singing style in the song Dunia Tipu-Tipu by Yura Yunita. This song uses singing techniques such as belting, falsetto, and vibrato to provide deeper and more emotional expressions. In addition, modern music elements such as music loops and sound effects are also used to enrich the nuances of the song. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach and lyric analysis. The results of the study show that the singing style in this song resembles poetry reading, where the delivery of emotions plays a major role in strengthening the meaning of the song. The vocal technique used is able to increase the appeal of musicality and provide a deep experience for listeners. The strong interpretation of the lyrics makes this song one of the representations of modern music that has succeeded in touching various groups.
