Abstract

This study aims to improve the effectiveness of the teaching factory partnership program at SMK Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara in improving students' work readiness in the Automotive, Mining Geology, and Merchant Ship Nautical majors. Teaching factory is a production and service-based learning model implemented in an environment that copies the real conditions of the industrial world. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, which was chosen because it allows for in-depth exploration of the dynamics and context of teaching factory implementation in certain educational units. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews with 20 students, productive teachers, and industry partners, direct observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study showed that teaching factory provides contextual learning experiences to students, strengthens technical and soft skills, and increases self-confidence in facing the world of work. Partnerships with industry also strengthen the relevance of open materials and open up job placement opportunities for graduates. However, several challenges such as limited production equipment and practice schedules still need to be overcome to optimize this program. Thus, teaching factory has proven effective as a strategy to strengthen the link and match between SMK and industry.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of driving teachers to improve the quality of education in elementary schools in Sumberejo District, Tanggamus Regency. The sub-focus of this study includes how driving teachers move learning communities in schools and in their areas, how driving teachers accompany fellow teachers regarding learning development, how driving teachers improve student leadership in schools, how driving teachers open discussion spaces or collaboration with stakeholders to improve the quality of learning, how driving teachers as learning leaders who focus on the welfare of the educational ecosystem in schools, how to overcome obstacles or constraints in implementing improvements for driving teachers in improving the quality of education. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the role of driving teachers in improving the quality of education faces various obstacles, such as lack of support from the principal, fellow teachers, and policy makers, as well as limited communication and coordination. This study recommends that to optimize their role, full support from various parties, increased coordination, and responsive policies are needed to optimize the role of driving teachers in improving the quality of education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze bilingual learning media in mathematics subjects for elementary school students. This type of research is qualitative research with a literature study method from various scientific journals that discuss bilingual learning media, especially in mathematics subjects at the elementary school level. Bilingual learning media is learning media that presents material in two languages such as native language and foreign language. The purpose of bilingual learning media is to facilitate students in understanding the material and improving foreign language skills. There are 3 types of bilingual learning media that can be applied to learning mathematics in elementary schools, namely concrete, visual, and audio-visual media. Using bilingual learning media in mathematics learning at the elementary school level can improve foreign language skills and the problem-solving process in the learning process so that it can improve cognitive abilities.

Abstract

The background of this research is to find solutions for how to develop Islamic religious education learning methods with techniques that pay attention to students' personal development and moral values. An alternative that can be done by teachers is to use humanistic learning theory. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach which will describe how the school implements this humanistic education. Data collection by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the learning process that applies humanistic education is going well, through learning designs such as: planning, implementation and evaluation. The supporting factors are teachers at MIS Miftahul Hasanah Binjai who follow current developments, a supportive school environment, adequate facilities and infrastructure. The inhibiting factors are the teacher's monotonous way of teaching, students who are difficult to manage, lack of mastery of the class by the teacher, due to the number of teachers being disproportionate to the number of students in the class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: The Effect of Example Non-Example Learning Model on Pancasila Education Learning Outcomes of Class V Students of UPTD SD Negeri 122384 Pematangsiantar The type of research used in this study is Quantitative Research. The research design that will be used is experimental, with the form of Pre-Experimental Design with "one group pretest posttest design". The sample in this study were 20 class V students of UPTD SD Negeri 122384 Pematangsiantar, where 8 were male and 12 were female. The instrument used in this study was in the form of multiple-choice questions. Hypothesis testing shows that there is a significant influence on this study from the data that has been tested, the data can be seen from the data analysis obtained the average results of the pretest (47.25) and posttest (84.75). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Example Non-Example Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Pancasila Education for Class V Students of UPTD SD Negeri 122384 Pematangsiantar, this is proven by the results of the hypothesis test showing that t count is more than t table (9.59 more than 1.729) this fact shows that the t count obtained is very significant. Thus, it is concluded that there is an influence of the Example Non-Example learning model on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for class V students of UPTD SD Negeri 122384 Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Students at UPTD SD Negeri 125549. The design of this study was pre-Experimental with the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this study was all students of grade IV-B UPTD SD Negeri 125549 totaling 20 students. The hypothesis in this study is, (1) there is an effect of the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of grade IV students at UPTD SD Negeri 125549 (Ha), (2) there is no effect of the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of grade IV students at UPTD SD Negeri 125549 (Ho). Data collection was carried out by giving pretest and posttest questions to students. Data were analyzed using the normality test (Shapiro-Wilk) and the score increase test (N-Gain). The results showed that the average pretest score of students was 43 with a completion rate of 20%, which increased to 83 with a completion rate reaching 90% in the posttest. The results of the normality analysis showed that the pretest data had a significant value of 0.135 more than 0.05 and the posttest data had a significant value of 0.349 more than 0.05 so that the results of the normality analysis had normally distributed data, and an average N-Gain score of 0.7163 showed a high increase category, with learning effectiveness of 71.6262%.

Abstract

The low creative thinking ability of students is caused by several factors including inadequate teaching materials and learning media that do not involve students because they use less varied learning models. This study aims to determine the Effect of Canva Media on Creative Thinking Ability in Science Learning Materials for Grade IV Students of UPTD SD Negeri 122399. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research. The research design used is experimental, with a pre-experimental design form that uses a "one group pretest posttest design" design, the sample in this study were 20 grade IV students of UPTD SD Negeri 122399. The instrument used in this study was a test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, there is an influence of Canva media on creative thinking skills in the science learning material of grade IV students of UPTD SD Negeri 122399. This is proven by the N-Gain Test showing that the average Pretest is 50.4 and the average Posttest is 85.8 where the lowest N-Gain Score is 0.39 and the highest N-Gain Score is 0.94, thus obtaining a gain of 0.78. This means that the class experienced an increase in critical thinking skills with a high category because (g) is more than or equal to 0.70. Based on these data, it is concluded that the application or use of Canva learning media has succeeded in increasing students' creative thinking skills compared to before.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, success rate, and challenges in applying the Tikrar method to Qur'an memorization learning at the Tahfidzul Quran Raudhatul Hasanah Foundation. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results indicate that: (1) learning planning is systematically carried out through the preparation of memorization schedules, achievement targets, and supporting facilities; (2) the implementation of the Tikrar method involves intensive repetition of verses, regular memorization submissions, and close guidance from tahfidz teachers; (3) the application of this method shows a high level of success in improving fluency, memory retention, and building students' confidence in recitation; and (4) challenges such as student fatigue, varying levels of memorization ability, limited time, and low parental involvement still persist but can be addressed through motivation reinforcement strategies and supportive learning environments. Thus, the Tikrar method remains an effective and relevant approach to sustainably improving the quality of Qur'anic memorization among students.

Abstract

This article analyzes the values ??of tolerance education in Surah Al-Hujurat verse 13 based on Ibn Kathir's interpretation. The verse contains the principles of equality, brotherhood, and respect for diversity, which are very relevant in building a peaceful society amidst cultural and religious plurality. This study uses a qualitative approach through literature study with the thematic interpretation method (maudhu'i). The results of the study show three main values ??in this verse: recognition of diversity as the wisdom of Allah, the importance of social harmony, and an emphasis on moral-spiritual over ethnic identity. These values ??are very relevant in education to instill an attitude of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence. This study emphasizes that the integration of Islamic teachings into everyday life can be a solution to global challenges such as discrimination and social conflict. Thus, Surah Al-Hujurat verse 13 becomes a strong ethical foundation in instilling the values ??of tolerance both in local and global contexts.

Abstract

Literary works are a medium that utilizes language to express human life. The meaning of literary works (poetry, short stories, novels) is not only determined by the structure itself but also the author's background, environment, socio-cultural, political, economic and psychological background. This study aims to analyze the structure of the novel Kita Juga Muda untuk Jatuh Cinta by Aiu Ahra and its implications for learning in schools. This study uses a qualitative approach method. This study carried out 4 stages in analyzing data, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or data verification. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the theme contained in the novel Kita Juga Muda untuk Jatuh Cinta by Aiu is Islamic teenagers.
