Abstract

Background: Hypertension has the nickname the Silent Killer because it is deadly but is not accompanied by any previous symptoms. There are two risk factors for hypertension, namely risk factors that can be changed, namely sleep patterns, high sodium consumption, smoking, physical activity, stress, alcohol consumption and coffee consumption. Meanwhile, risk factors cannot be changed, namely age, gender, occupation, family history or heredity. Bengkulu Province Health Profile data for hypertension sufferers in 2018 reached 71,675 people. Meanwhile, data from the Bengkulu City Health Service from 20 community health centers, the fish market health center, is the number two incident of hypertension in men in 2019, reaching 180 cases (17.4%).Objective: This study aims to determine the description of sodium consumption patterns, sleep patterns, smoking habits and the incidence of hypertension in adult men in the Coastal Coastal Work Area of ​​the Bengkulu City Fish Market Health Center. Method : Cross sectional design, the variables studied were sodium consumption patterns, sleep patterns, smoking habits and the incidence of hypertension. The total sample of 46 respondents was taken using simple random sampling technique. Results: The results showed that adult men consumed more than 100.0% sodium category. Some respondents, 21.7%, experienced poor sleep patterns, 23 respondents, 50.0%, almost all were moderate smokers, and almost all 32.6% did not smoke. 43.5% had grade 1 hypertension and 30.4% had pre-hypertension. Conclusion : The incidence of hypertension in the Coastal Coast category is more than 100%.

Abstract

Physical fitness is a person's body's ability to carry out daily tasks without fatigue. Physical fitness is very important, especially in teenagers because they have a lot of activities. After Covid-19, several studies have shown that fitness in teenagers is decreasing. This can be influenced by several factors, including hemoglobin levels in the blood and nutritional status. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between hemoglobin levels and nutritional status and the body fitness of teenagers at public vocational school 47 Jakarta. This research was conducted with a cross sectional research design. Samples were taken by purposive sampling that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection includes gender, age, hemoglobin levels using the For a 6 Plus digital tool, nutritional status, and fitness level using the Shuttle Run Test. Data analysis included frequency and bivariate distribution using Fisher's exact test. The research results showed that most of the respondents, 75.5% were female, 62% were 16 years old, 61.4% had very weak fitness levels, 52.1% had normal Hb levels, and 69.9% had normal nutritional status. There is a significant relationship between hemoglobin levels and physical fitness (p=0.034) and there is a significant relationship between nutritional status and physical fitness (p=0.001).

Abstract

Stunting is a disorder that occurs in a child's nutritional status, where the child's height is relatively short compared to his age. Based on the 2022 Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI), the prevalence of stunted toddlers in South Jakarta is 11.9%. The incidence of stunting is still a concern that must be addressed immediately. South Grogol Community Health Center created a program, namely KPG. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between age, education, employment and exposure to information on the knowledge, attitudes and actions of mothers participating in the KPG program at the South Grogol Community Health Center. This type of research was carried out, namely analytical observational with a cross sectional design. Samples were taken by total sampling. The research results showed that 58.8% were aged 36 – 45 years, 76.5% had higher education, 82.3% had nonworking/domestic status, the level of exposure to good information was 64.7%. The level of knowledge in the good category is 76.5%, attitude in the positive category is 70.6%, and action in the poor category is 58.8%. Obtained significant results on knowledge based on education level with a p - value of 0.022 and significant results on attitudes based on exposure to information with a p - value of 0.028. For health workers, the KPG program can remind respondents to apply the knowledge gained from the KPG program to their daily parenting patterns. This is done to maintain and improve children's nutritional status in a good direction.Keywords : Characteristic, Exposure to Information, Knowledge, Attitudes, Actions

Abstract

Nutrition is a factor that influences the health and work productivity of office employees. Optimal nutritional status plays an important role in maintaining endurance, concentration and stamina while working. Several studies show the high incidence of nutritional problems among office employees in Indonesia. These problems include overweight and obesity. According to the 2018 National Riskesdas, there were 13% of employees who were obese, while in the Bamten area itself there were 32.01%. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between energy intake, macro and micro nutrient intake and the nutritional status of employees at the South Tangerang national and political unity office. This research was conducted with a cross sectional research design. Samples were taken by random sampling. The results of the study were that most 45% were aged 21-35 years and the majority 72.5% were male, had normal weight nutritional status, adequate energy intake of 57.5%, sufficient protein of 85%, sufficient fat of 67, 5%, sufficient carbohydrates at 85%, insufficient intake of Vitamin E, namely 95%, insufficient Vitamin C, namely 70%, and insufficient calcium, namely 90%, with the results of nutritional status based on Energy and Fat getting significant results with a p value, namely 0.001 for Energy, and 0.001 for Fat, then get nutritional status results based on intake of Protein, Carbohydrates, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and Calcium which are not significant with p results namely 0.130 for protein, 0.130 for Carbohydrates, 0.884 for Vitamin E, 0.267 for Vitamin C, and 0.832 in Calcium. In this research, the researcher provides suggestions to the Kesbangpol Office to provide education related to nutrition, as well as pay attention to the food intake consumed by employees, increase knowledge, and be able to monitor health in order to obtain maximum work productivity.Keywords: Energy Intake, Nutrients Macro, Micro Nutrients, Nutritional Status, Employess

Abstract

Background: Anemia is a condition in which a person's body experiences a decrease or the number of red blood cells in the body is below normal limits. Several factors that cause anemia experienced by adolescents are lack of knowledge of anemia and nutritional intake which affects the choice of nutritious food consumption, not being used to breakfast, the habit of drinking tea and coffee which inhibits the absorption of iron in the body, and intake of several nutrients that are less than the AKG, iron intake is deficient and adolescent girls are not routinely consuming Fe tablets. Purpose: The study aims to determine the effect of giving mackerel nuggets and moringa leaves on increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Falah. Methods: This study is a quasi-experimental study. With a One Group Pre test-Post test Design research design. The study was conducted from February - May 2024 with a sample of 54 respondents. Results: The results of the dependent T-Test showed that there was a difference in the average increase in hemoglobin levels with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: There is an effect of giving mackerel nuggets and moringa leaves on increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls.

Abstract

Background: Elderly people have a tendency to consume foods that contain little fiber, resulting in less fiber intake. The innovation of burgo with the addition of white oyster mushrooms and seaweed is an alternative high-fiber food. Objective: To find out the acceptance, best formulation, differences in each acceptances, nutritional value, and fiber content of burgo with the addition of white oyster mushrooms and seaweed as a breakfast menu for the elderly. Methods: This study was an experimental study using a non-factorial Completely Randomzed Design (CRD) with 3 formulations off adding white oyster mushrooms and seaweed F1 (75g:150g), F2 (100g:125g), F3 (125g:100g). The subjects of this study was organoleptic with 35 of panelist using the Kruskal Wallis test and continued by Mann-Whitney test. Result: Organoleptic tests (color, aroma, texture, taste, aftertaste, and overall) showed the most preferred that acceptance of burgo with the addition of white oyster mushrooms and seaweed F2 with energy 85,83 kcal, protein 4,40 gram, fat 1,99 gram, carbohydrates 10,34 gram, and fiber 1,56 gram. Kruskal Wallis test showed the significant results on aroma, texture, and aftertaste. Conclusion: Burgo with the addition of white oyster mushrooms and seaweed can be used as an alternative breakfast menu for the elderly with source of high fiber

Abstract

Stunting is a syndrome of several pathological changes characterised by linear growth, and underdevelopment at the beginning of life associated with increased morbidity and mortality, physical decline, neurological development, economic capacity, and an increased risk of metabolic diseases into adulthood. Six million children in Indonesia risk losing their intelligence quotient (IQ) of 10 to 15 points. The prevalence of stunting in children aged five years in West Java Province is 20.2% and in Bogor Regency is 18.7%. This research is an analytical research with a sectional cross-section design. The population is all children under five in Leuwiliang District, Bogor, and a sample of 414 children under five. will be held in May 2022. The data were analysed univariately, bivariate, and multivariate. To develop an equation model using multiple logistic regression tests The results of the multivariate analysis review showed that mothers with a height of <150.0 cm were 2.403 times more likely to have short toddlers after controlling for the variables of birth weight and protein intake. Simultaneously, stunting in children under five is caused by mothers with a height of less than 150.0 cm, a birth weight of less than 2500.0 g, and inadequate protein intake. It is sought that from the moment the baby is given good protein for the physical growth and development of the child's brain, maintaining pregnancy so that the baby is born normally (≥2500.0g) and since the child or adolescent consumes a balanced nutritious food so that the height of the woman is 150.0 cm

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Kanker penyebab utama hampir 10 juta kematian di seluruh dunia. Sekitar dua pertiga pasien kanker memiliki keragaman makanan yang rendah. Seiring naiknya masalah gizi seperti obesitas, kurang gizi, dan penyakit terkait gizi salah satunya kanker, pemahaman tentang nilai gizi makanan yang dikonsumsi sangat penting. Tujuan Penelitian : membahas paparan literasi digital dapat memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran gizi dan keberagaman pangan serta potensi dampak positifnya pada individu dan masyarakat dalam pencegahan kanker. Metode : Systematic Literatur Review (SLR) dengan database tinjauan sistematis yang digunakan yaitu Consensus App, semantic scholar,dan Pubmed. Terpilih 9 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil : Literasi pola makan dan diterapkan dapat berdampak pada terjadinya pencegahan kanker pada individu. Karena itu peran literasi keberagaman pangan sangat penting dalam upaya pencegahan kanker. Namun, di Indonesia penelitian tentang keberagaman pangan terhadap pencegahan kanker masih jarang ditemukan. Terbukti dengan hasil pencarian artikel yang relevan dengan tema ini masih sedikit ditemukan yang berasal dari Indonesia. Kesimpulan : Literasi keberagaman pangan yang diterapkan sangat berdampak pada pencegahan terjadinya kanker, kepatuhan yang lebih tinggi terhadap pola makan dengan skor keanekaragaman makanan yang lebih tinggi, terutama buah-buahan dan sayuran, serta asupan daging yang lebih rendah, dapat menurunkan risiko kanker.

Abstract

Diarrhea is an infectious disease in children caused by the consumption of unsafe snacks. Based on the results of supervision conducted by BPOM RI found that 4% of food sold in the school environment contained hazardous materials. Low knowledge is one of the causes of unsafe snacks consumption in school children, providing nutrition education is one solution in increasing children's knowledge about safe snacks consumption. This study used an experimental method with a quasi-experiment research design with two groups pretest and posttest to determine the effect of nutrition education through puppet show media and flashcards on knowledge about safe snacks in elementary school children at SDN Wanasari 12 Cibitung. In statistical analysis, the Wilcoxon test was conducted to determine the increase in knowledge about safe snacks in the experimental group and the control group p-value = 0.0001

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Gizi kurang merupakan suatu masalah gizi dimana kebutuhan nutrisi dalam tubuh tidak dapat terpenuhi. Klasifikasi gizi kurang berdasarkan Indeks Massa Tubuh menurut Umur (IMT/U) usia 5-18 tahun jika berada pada Z-Score antara -3 standar deviasi sampai dengan <-2 standar deviasi. Tujuan : Diketahui gambaran penyuluhan gizi menggunakan media video animasi terhadap perubahan pengetahuan, sikap, asupan energi, dan asupan zat gizi makro pada remaja gizi kurang di SMP Negeri 27 Palembang. Metode : Desan penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan quasi eksperimen, dengan one group pre test-post test. Jumlah sampel 36 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel systematik random sampling. Hasil : Dari hasil analisis data, menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan sebelum perlakuan 53,67 setelah perlakuan yaitu 78,44. Sikap sebelum perlakuan 80,85 setelah perlakuan 87,62. Asupan energi sebelum perlakuan 1943,22 kkal setelah perlakuan 2153,54 kkal. Asupan protein sebelum perlakuan 52,88 gram setelah perlakuan 66,81 gram. Asupan lemak sebelum perlakuan 60,60 gram setelah perlakuan 73,50 gram. Asupan karbohidrat sebelum perlakuan 227,64 gram setelah perlakuan 309,40 gram. Kesimpulan : Terjadi peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan, sikap, asupan energi, dan asupan zat gizi makro pada remaja gizi kurang di SMP Negeri 27 Palembang.
