Abstract

Interfaith dialogue plays a crucial role in fostering mutual understanding, social harmony, and conflict resolution in multicultural societies. Public relations (PR) serves as a strategic tool in facilitating communication between religious groups, promoting shared values, and mitigating religious tensions. Despite its significance, the role of PR in interfaith dialogue remains underexplored in academic discourse. This study aims to examine how PR strategies contribute to the success of interfaith dialogue initiatives, focusing on communication techniques, stakeholder engagement, and media influence. Employing a qualitative research approach, this study analyzes case studies of PR-driven interfaith programs and conducts in-depth interviews with public relations practitioners, religious leaders, and communication experts. Findings reveal that PR enhances interfaith dialogue by fostering transparent communication, managing religious sensitivities, and leveraging digital platforms to reach broader audiences. Strategic messaging, crisis communication, and media partnerships are identified as key components in shaping public perception and engagement in interfaith initiatives. The study concludes that effective PR practices can strengthen interfaith relations, reduce misconceptions, and build sustainable peace. These findings contribute to the growing body of knowledge on religious communication and highlight the need for further integration of PR strategies in interfaith dialogue efforts.

Abstract

Women have historically played a crucial yet often overlooked role in Islamic political movements, contributing to ideological development, grassroots mobilization, and policy advocacy. While dominant narratives frequently portray Islamic political movements as male-dominated, feminist scholarship highlights the agency of women in shaping political discourse within Islamic frameworks. The intersection of gender, religion, and politics remains a complex area of study, requiring a nuanced understanding of how women navigate and influence Islamic political spaces. This study aims to examine the roles, challenges, and contributions of women in Islamic political movements through a feminist analytical lens. A qualitative research approach was employed, incorporating in-depth interviews with female activists, content analysis of political discourse, and historical case studies from various Islamic political movements. Findings reveal that women engage in diverse roles, ranging from grassroots activism to leadership positions, despite facing structural and ideological barriers. Religious reinterpretation, digital activism, and coalition-building emerge as key strategies employed by women to assert their political agency. The study concludes that while women’s participation in Islamic political movements is expanding, persistent gender hierarchies necessitate continuous efforts toward inclusivity and representation. These findings contribute to feminist and political discourse by providing empirical insights into the evolving role of women in Islamic political spheres

Abstract

Technological advancements have significantly transformed workplace environments across various industries, including those operating within Islamic frameworks. The integration of digital tools, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) in Islamic workplaces has reshaped organizational structures, work ethics, and employee interactions, raising questions about the compatibility of technology with Islamic business principles. Balancing efficiency, ethical considerations, and adherence to Islamic values presents both opportunities and challenges for organizations seeking to maintain Islamic ethical integrity in a rapidly evolving digital era. This study aims to examine the impact of technology on productivity, ethical work practices, and employee engagement in Islamic workplaces. A mixed-methods approach is employed, combining surveys distributed to employees in Islamic organizations and in-depth interviews with business leaders and Islamic scholars. Quantitative data measures changes in productivity and employee satisfaction, while qualitative data explores perceptions of ethical dilemmas, technological dependence, and alignment with Islamic work ethics. Findings indicate that while technology enhances operational efficiency and flexibility, concerns arise regarding digital distractions, ethical challenges in automation, and the erosion of traditional interpersonal workplace values. The study concludes that technology must be strategically implemented to support productivity without compromising Islamic ethical principles.

Abstract

Cultural differences play a significant role in shaping public relations (PR) practices, particularly in Islamic contexts where religious values intersect with communication strategies. Islamic public relations (IPR) operates within ethical frameworks derived from Shariah principles, emphasizing honesty, social responsibility, and mutual respect. However, in multicultural and globalized environments, cultural diversity influences message construction, audience reception, and stakeholder engagement. Understanding how cultural variations impact Islamic PR strategies is essential for developing communication models that align with both religious and cultural expectations. This study aims to examine the influence of cultural differences on Islamic PR practices and how organizations adapt communication strategies in diverse socio-cultural contexts. A qualitative research design is employed, combining in-depth interviews with PR professionals from Islamic organizations and content analysis of PR campaigns conducted across different cultural settings. Findings reveal that while Islamic PR maintains ethical consistency, cultural diversity affects messaging, media selection, and engagement approaches. Organizations operating in culturally diverse regions implement localized communication strategies to balance Islamic values with cultural sensitivities. The study concludes that effective Islamic PR requires adaptability, cultural awareness, and ethical alignment to ensure meaningful audience engagement.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed the landscape of Islamic preaching (da’wah), particularly in engaging Generation Alpha, a demographic deeply immersed in digital platforms. Traditional da’wah methods, which rely on face-to-face interactions and textual resources, are less effective in reaching this tech-savvy generation. Digital da’wah strategies must be adapted to align with the media consumption habits, cognitive preferences, and interactive engagement styles of Generation Alpha. Understanding the effectiveness of digital platforms in delivering Islamic teachings is crucial for optimizing contemporary da’wah efforts. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital da’wah strategies in engaging Generation Alpha by examining content formats, platform choices, and interaction models. A qualitative case study approach is employed, incorporating in-depth interviews with digital da’wah practitioners, content analysis of online Islamic educational materials, and audience engagement metrics. Findings reveal that short-form videos, gamification, and interactive storytelling significantly enhance engagement and message retention among Generation Alpha. Social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and interactive learning apps emerge as the most effective channels for digital da’wah. The study concludes that Islamic content must be visually engaging, concise, and interactive to maintain relevance in the digital era. Recommendations for optimizing digital da’wah strategies for Generation Alpha are discussed.

Abstract

Anxiety disorders among adolescents have become a growing concern, with increasing cases linked to academic pressure, social expectations, and digital media exposure. Conventional treatments often rely on pharmacological and psychological interventions; however, alternative therapies such as dhikr (Islamic remembrance of God) are gaining attention for their potential psychological benefits. Rooted in Islamic spiritual practices, dhikr therapy is believed to induce a calming effect, promote mindfulness, and enhance emotional regulation. Understanding its effectiveness in alleviating anxiety among adolescents can contribute to integrative mental health approaches. This study aims to evaluate the impact of dhikr therapy on reducing anxiety symptoms in adolescent patients through a structured intervention program. A quasi-experimental research design was employed, involving 60 adolescent patients diagnosed with anxiety disorders. Participants were divided into an intervention group receiving guided dhikr therapy and a control group undergoing standard anxiety management. Anxiety levels were measured using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7) before and after the intervention. Findings indicate a significant reduction in anxiety scores among participants in the dhikr therapy group compared to the control group. The study concludes that dhikr therapy serves as an effective complementary approach in managing adolescent anxiety. Recommendations for integrating dhikr therapy into holistic mental health programs are discussed.

Abstract

The millennial generation’s engagement with social media has significantly influenced the dissemination of religious content, including Islamic da’wah. Traditional da’wah methods relying on in-person gatherings and textual resources face challenges in reaching a digitally connected audience. Social media platforms provide an opportunity for da’wah practitioners to engage millennials through interactive, visually appealing, and accessible content. Understanding effective da’wah management strategies on social media is crucial for optimizing digital Islamic outreach. This study aims to explore effective strategies for managing da’wah content on social media to attract and engage the millennial generation. A qualitative research design is employed, incorporating content analysis of social media da’wah campaigns, interviews with digital da’wah practitioners, and audience engagement metrics. Findings reveal that short-form video content, storytelling techniques, and interactive discussions significantly enhance engagement among millennials. Social media algorithms prioritize content that encourages interaction, requiring da’wah initiatives to integrate consistent posting schedules, audience feedback mechanisms, and visually engaging formats. The study concludes that effective da’wah management on social media necessitates a balance between religious authenticity and digital communication trends.

Abstract

Community development in Islamic societies requires an approach that integrates religious values and local wisdom to ensure sustainability and social cohesion. Conventional top-down development models often fail to capture the unique cultural and spiritual dynamics that shape community participation. A participatory approach, which actively involves local stakeholders in decision-making processes, is essential for fostering self-reliance, cultural preservation, and community-driven development. Understanding how participatory strategies contribute to building Islamic communities grounded in local traditions is crucial for developing inclusive and effective community empowerment programs. This study aims to examine the role of participatory approaches in developing Islamic communities while incorporating local wisdom as a foundational element of social engagement. A qualitative research design is employed, utilizing ethnographic fieldwork, in-depth interviews, and participatory observation in selected Islamic communities. Findings reveal that community-led initiatives, collaboration with religious leaders, and integration of traditional customs strengthen collective identity and social trust. Participatory approaches facilitate knowledge-sharing, conflict resolution, and resource management, leading to a more resilient and self-sustaining Islamic community structure. The study concludes that Islamic community development must balance religious teachings with localized cultural practices to foster social harmony and sustainability. Recommendations for integrating participatory frameworks into Islamic community development policies are discussed.
