Abstract

Background. AI-based mobile applications are revolutionizing language learning by offering personalized, adaptable tools. Their impact differs across various learning environments, prompting the necessity for a comparative study to understand these variances better. Purpose. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of AI-based mobile applications for English language learning in formal classroom settings versus informal self-study environments. The goal is to determine how these tools perform across different contexts and identify the optimal conditions for their use. Method. A comparative study was conducted involving high school and university students in formal educational settings and adult learners in informal self-study settings. Over three months, participants utilized AI-based language learning applications. Data collection involved pre- and post-tests to measure learning outcomes, alongside surveys and interviews to gauge user experiences and preferences. Results. Analysis revealed significant improvements in both learning environments, with formal settings showing a 12% increase in test scores and informal settings an 8% increase. Students in formal settings more frequently engaged with interactive features, whereas informal learners gravitated towards self-study tools. Engagement and interaction levels were notably higher in formal educational settings compared to informal ones. Conclusion. AI-based mobile applications significantly enhance English language learning, particularly in structured, formal environments. The findings underscore the importance of tailoring these tools to fit different learning contexts. While both formal and informal settings benefit from these applications, formal education environments seem to leverage their interactive features more effectively, resulting in higher engagement and better learning outcomes. This study highlights the need for educators and developers to consider context-specific strategies to maximize the benefits of AI-based language learning tools.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a philosophical analysis of the future of education in Indonesian-Malaysian universities in facing the challenges of the 2045 Megatrend era. The main focus of this research is to explore philosophical concepts that can guide the transformation of higher education in both countries to be relevant and adaptive to global developments, technology, and anticipated social demands by 2045. A literature approach is used in this study, by analyzing the literature on educational philosophy, social theory, and future developments related to higher education. Through philosophical analysis, it was found that higher education in Indonesia-Malaysia needs to adapt to the major changes faced in the 2045 Megatrend era. Concepts such as value-based education, continuous learning, technological adaptation, and social inclusion are key in preparing graduates who are ready to face the challenges of the future. In addition, cross-disciplinary and international collaboration, strengthening the capacity of lecturers, and integrating local values in the curriculum are also important factors to ensure the relevance and quality of higher education in the future

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed the landscape of Islamic preaching (da’wah), particularly in engaging Generation Alpha, a demographic deeply immersed in digital platforms. Traditional da’wah methods, which rely on face-to-face interactions and textual resources, are less effective in reaching this tech-savvy generation. Digital da’wah strategies must be adapted to align with the media consumption habits, cognitive preferences, and interactive engagement styles of Generation Alpha. Understanding the effectiveness of digital platforms in delivering Islamic teachings is crucial for optimizing contemporary da’wah efforts. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital da’wah strategies in engaging Generation Alpha by examining content formats, platform choices, and interaction models. A qualitative case study approach is employed, incorporating in-depth interviews with digital da’wah practitioners, content analysis of online Islamic educational materials, and audience engagement metrics. Findings reveal that short-form videos, gamification, and interactive storytelling significantly enhance engagement and message retention among Generation Alpha. Social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and interactive learning apps emerge as the most effective channels for digital da’wah. The study concludes that Islamic content must be visually engaging, concise, and interactive to maintain relevance in the digital era. Recommendations for optimizing digital da’wah strategies for Generation Alpha are discussed.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the values of moral education in the Qur'an. Considering the phenomenon today, many people are behaving who do not reflect good morals. This research uses a qualitative approach by relying on literature studies. The collected literature data were analyzed descriptively. The research found that in the Qur'an, there are verses that explain the concept and procedures of ethics/morals in everyday life. For example, Q.S. At-Taubah [9]: 119, which teaches to behave honestly. Q.S. Al-Baqarah [2]: 195) and Q.S. Al-A'raf [7]: 199 which teaches to be kind and compassionate. Q.S. Al-Baqarah [2]: 153 teaches to be patient. Q.S. Al-Ma'un [107]: 1-7 teaches to care about the environment. When referring to Q.S. Luqman [31]: 12-19, moral formation can be done early in the form of education from parents for their children. Among them are providing children's needs according to their portions, learning quietly and playing so that children grow, providing a conducive and positive environment, and integrated and istiqamah learning.

Abstract

Inclusive education has become a global priority, aiming to provide equitable learning opportunities for all students, including those with disabilities. However, despite the increasing emphasis on inclusion, many schools face challenges in fully preparing to support students with diverse needs. This study identifies strategies to improve school readiness to welcome students with disabilities through inclusive education. The research used a qualitative case study approach; data were collected from semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis conducted in three inclusive schools. The study findings indicate that leadership commitment, teacher training, collaborative support systems, and family involvement strongly influence school readiness. Schools with visionary leadership, ongoing professional development for teachers, and strong community engagement demonstrated higher readiness levels for inclusion. However, challenges such as inadequate resources and persistent community stigma against disability were identified as barriers. The study concludes that school readiness for inclusion is an ongoing process that requires a whole-school approach that integrates leadership, instructional practices, and community engagement

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang pesat telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran abad 21. Manajemen pendidikan berbasis teknologi menjadi pendekatan strategis untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran, efisiensi administrasi, serta keterlibatan seluruh pemangku kepentingan dalam proses pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi konsep manajemen pendidikan berbasis teknologi, strategi implementasi yang efektif, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapannya. Metode kajian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis melalui studi literatur. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa strategi efektif meliputi penguatan infrastruktur digital, pelatihan guru, integrasi platform pembelajaran daring, serta pemanfaatan data untuk pengambilan keputusan. Tantangan seperti kesenjangan digital, rendahnya literasi teknologi, dan isu keamanan data dapat diatasi melalui kolaborasi multi-pihak, penyusunan regulasi, dan kebijakan pendidikan yang adaptif. Dengan pengelolaan yang tepat, teknologi dapat menjadi katalisator transformasi pendidikan yang relevan dan berkelanjutan di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) in supporting the sustainability of Islamic da’wah through the digitalization of charity boxes. The transformation of digital philanthropy has brought significant changes to donation practices, including the management of QRIS-based charity boxes. This innovation enables the community to contribute to Islamic da’wah in a simpler, more efficient, and transparent manner. Using a qualitative approach based on literature review, this research highlights aspects of accessibility, transparency, efficiency in fund distribution, and technology-based da’wah innovation. The findings show that the use of QRIS not only improves the efficiency of fund management but also strengthens the accountability of da’wah institutions through real-time transaction recording. Furthermore, the integration of QRIS with other technologies such as blockchain and Sharia fintech has the potential to expand the reach of da’wah and create a more sustainable philanthropic ecosystem. These findings suggest that digital technology is not merely a tool but a new foundation in contemporary da’wah strategies. Therefore, the adoption of this technology becomes a strategic step in addressing the challenges of da’wah in the digital era, while simultaneously enhancing awareness and community involvement in sharing for the common good. This study recommends strengthening digital literacy and technology governance as follow-up measures to enhance the impact of digital philanthropy for Islamic da’wah. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) dalam mendukung keberlanjutan dakwah melalui digitalisasi kotak amal. Transformasi filantropi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam praktik donasi, termasuk dalam pengelolaan kotak amal berbasis QRIS. Inovasi ini memungkinkan masyarakat untuk berkontribusi dalam dakwah Islam dengan cara yang lebih mudah, efisien, dan transparan. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, penelitian ini menyoroti aspek kemudahan akses, transparansi, efisiensi distribusi dana, serta inovasi dakwah berbasis teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan QRIS tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan dana, tetapi juga memperkuat akuntabilitas lembaga dakwah melalui pencatatan transaksi secara real-time. Selain itu, integrasi QRIS dengan teknologi lain seperti blockchain dan fintech syariah berpotensi memperluas cakupan dakwah dan menciptakan ekosistem filantropi yang lebih berkelanjutan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa teknologi digital tidak hanya menjadi alat bantu, tetapi fondasi baru dalam strategi dakwah kontemporer. Oleh karena itu, adopsi teknologi ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam menjawab tantangan dakwah di era digital, sekaligus meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterlibatan umat dalam berbagi untuk kemaslahatan bersama. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan literasi digital dan tata kelola teknologi sebagai langkah lanjut dalam memperkuat dampak filantropi digital bagi dakwah Islam.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital, khususnya deep learning, telah membawa dampak signifikan pada dunia pendidikan tinggi. Integrasi deep learning dalam kurikulum berdampak bukan hanya berfokus pada penguasaan teknologi, tetapi juga mendorong transformasi pedagogi, personalisasi pembelajaran, dan pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21. Penelitian ini membahas pendekatan strategis untuk mengintegrasikan deep learning ke dalam kurikulum yang berorientasi pada dampak sosial, ekonomi, dan teknologi. Dengan metode studi literatur dan analisis kasus penerapan pada beberapa perguruan tinggi, ditemukan bahwa penerapan deep learning dalam kurikulum mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan keterampilan kolaboratif mahasiswa. Selain itu, integrasi ini mempersiapkan lulusan untuk menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja di era digital dengan bekal kompetensi adaptif dan inovatif. Artikel ini merekomendasikan desain kurikulum yang holistik, kolaborasi lintas disiplin, dan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi dosen untuk memastikan keberlanjutan transformasi pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan teori legitimasi Max Weber dalam kanal YouTube Kajian Tafsir Al-Qur’an Al-Ma’rifah Ustadz Musthafa Umar. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis, mengumpulkan data melalui observasi video, analisis komentar audiens, serta kajian literatur terkait legitimasi keagamaan dan digitalisasi dakwah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penelusuran terhadap Ustadz Mustafa Umar memperoleh legitimasi melalui kombinasi tiga otoritas Weberian: tradisional, karismatik, dan legal-rasional. Otoritas tradisionalnya berasal dari latar belakang keluarga dan pendidikan keagamaan, otoritas karismatiknya dibangun melalui gaya dakwah yang santun dan mudah dipahami, sementara otoritas legal-rasional diperkuat oleh jabatan keagamaan serta karyanya dalam bidang tafsir. Kehadiran kanal YouTube tidak hanya mempertahankan legitimasi tersebut tetapi juga memperluas jangkauan dakwah tafsir al-Qur’an kepada audiens yang lebih luas. Kesimpulannya, media digital bukanlah ancaman bagi otoritas keagamaan tradisional, melainkan alat yang memperkuatnya melalui adaptasi komunikasi yang lebih interaktif dan luas. Serta implikasinya terhadap jamaah adalah pemahaman terhadap al-Qur’an yang lebih luas serta semakin kokohnya akidah ahlussunah wal jamaah.
