Abstract

Instilling religious and spiritual values ​​in children is a fundamental component in forming their character and social behavior. This article discusses various effective methods used by parents and teachers in educating children, including example, habituation, discussion, and the use of interactive media. By involving parents as the first educators and teachers as formal educators, an environment that supports the process of internalizing religious values ​​can be created. This research also highlights the positive impact of religious education on the development of children's behavior, such as increasing empathy, integrity and cooperative abilities. Even though there are challenges in the digital era, such as the influence of social media and limited parental time, collaboration between families, schools and communities is very necessary to ensure that religious and spiritual values ​​remain relevant and can be implemented in children's daily lives. Thus, it is hoped that holistic and integrated religious education can form a generation with noble and responsible morals.

Abstract

The background of this research is to find out the problems faced by school principals in implementing the independent curriculum in elementary schools. The independent curriculum focuses on developing the character and morals of students, and the independent curriculum is more flexible and gives educators the freedom to develop learning according to the needs of students. Various challenges are faced by principals and educators in implementing the independent curriculum in elementary schools. The research conducted aims to analyze the various problems faced by school principals in implementing the independent curriculum in elementary schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collected using interview techniques using interview sheets. After the research, it was found that SD N 3 Karanganom had successfully implemented the independent curriculum amidst the challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) describe the vocabulary mastery of class IV students at SD Negeri 106812 Bandar Klippa; 2) describe the ability to write narrative essays in fourth grade students at SD Negeri 106812 Bandar Klippa; and 3) examine the relationship between vocabulary mastery and the ability to write narrative essays in class IV students at SD Negeri 106812 Bandar Klippa. This type of research is correlation research. The sample for this research was 56 grade IV students at SD Negeri 106812 Bandar Klippa. The sample in this study used a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques use tests and documentation. Data analysis uses product moment correlation. Based on the research results, it is known that: 1) students' overall vocabulary mastery obtained an average score of 62.2 in the quite good category; 2) students' overall ability to write narrative essays obtained an average score of 64.2 in the quite good category; and 3) there is a relationship between vocabulary mastery and the ability to write narrative essays in fourth grade students at SD Negeri 106812 Bandar Klippa of 0.920 with a very strong correlation category (rcount= 0.920 at the real level α= 0.05 with N= 56, rtable= 0.259 , and rh>rt). Based on the research data, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between vocabulary mastery and the ability to write narrative essays in class IV students at SD Negeri 106812 Bandar Klippa. This shows that the vocabulary mastery variable can be a good predictor of the ability to write narrative essays. So this research indicates that teachers who teach Indonesian language lessons must be able to improve vocabulary mastery to improve the ability to write narrative essays.

Abstract

Character education is an important aspect in children's development, especially at the elementary school (SD) level, which plays a fundamental role in shaping students' personality and morality from an early age. Character education aims to build positive attitudes and values, such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and tolerance needed in social life. The implementation of character education through Citizenship Education (PKn) at the elementary school level is very relevant, considering that Civics focuses on instilling moral, social and nationalist values. The implementation methods used include integrating character material in the curriculum, contextual approaches that are relevant to the student's environment, and extracurricular activities that support the formation of positive character. The results of this study show the effectiveness of character education implemented through Civics in increasing students' understanding of moral and ethical values, as well as strengthening social relationships between students. Thus, character education in elementary schools as a form of implementation of Civics not only provides a scientific basis, but also shapes students into individuals with integrity and social sensitivity.

Abstract

This journal discusses the implementation of learning media on improving student learning outcomes in elementary schools. The purpose of this study is to understand how effective the use of learning media is in supporting students in understanding the material presented. With the development of the modernization era, teachers can now take advantage of learning media to create innovations and improve teaching methods in the classroom. The results of the literature study conducted show that learning media has a significant influence. This is because the media allows students to see firsthand the material being taught, which makes learning easier to understand and more engaging for them.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in increasing the understanding of fourth grade students of SDN 1 Pesu in IPAS subjects. The PBL learning model invites students to learn independently and collaboratively in finding solutions to problems given. In this study using qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results showed that the application of the PBL learning model had improved. The PBL model involves students actively in learning activities. This research contributes to educators in the application of learning strategies that can support academic success and the development of students' understanding. PBL is able to create interactive, relevant, and conducive learning so that it can be an innovative strategy to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

Education is a learning process that always develops with the times. The Independent Curriculum, which was introduced as an effort to improve the quality of education, gives principals the freedom to design learning that suits students' needs. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum has a positive impact. However, challenges in educator training, policies and provision of resources are obstacles in the implementation of this curriculum. The learning process is an activity that is processed through the stages of design, implementation and evaluation. Thus, ongoing support is needed from the government and educational institutions to optimize the implementation of the Independent Curriculum so that it can effectively improve the quality of basic education in Indonesia

Abstract

This research discusses the philosophical, psychological and sociological foundations of education in Indonesia. The philosophical foundation emphasizes the importance of applying Pancasila values to shape student character. Psychological foundations highlight understanding of students' developmental stages and creating an inclusive learning environment. Meanwhile, the sociological basis sees education as an important tool for social mobility and reducing social inequality. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study and education policy analysis. The research results show that the application of this educational foundation is very important to produce a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has noble character.

Abstract

Bullying in elementary schools is a significant issue that can affect the physical, emotional, and social development of students. This research aims to identify the impact of bullying on the development of elementary school students, focusing on psychological, academic, and social relationship aspects. The study finds that students who experience bullying tend to exhibit decreased learning motivation, poor academic performance, and emotional disturbances such as anxiety and depression. Moreover, bullying victims often face difficulties in building healthy peer relationships. Therefore, efforts from schools, teachers, and parents are needed to create a safe and supportive environment to reduce and prevent bullying cases, as well as to facilitate the optimal development of students

Abstract

This research aims to optimize multimedia-based interactive learning media to improve elementary school students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The background to this research is the challenges faced by students in understanding mathematical concepts due to conventional learning methods which are limited to verbal explanations and practice questions in textbooks, especially on the topic of fractions. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research was prepared by collecting interview data at SD N 2 Mlese Gantiwarno Klaten. The research results show that the use of interactive learning media that involves visual and audio elements can foster students' motivation and understanding in learning mathematics. This approach has the potential to create a more interesting learning atmosphere, increase student absorption, and provide learning facilities that are more effective, relevant, and responsive to educational needs in the digital era.
