Abstract

Optimizing the Elderly Posyandu (Integrated Healthcare Post) Program in Ngepung Village, Kedamean District, Gresik Regency, is a strategic step to improve the health and well-being of the elderly amidst the surging number of older adults in Indonesia. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through purposive sampling involving Posyandu cadres, village officials, community health center staff, active elderly participants, and their accompanying family members. The findings reveal that program implementation faces challenges such as low elderly participation, limited facilities and healthcare personnel, and a lack of awareness among the community and families. Mobility constraints and geographical access further exacerbate the suboptimal participation of the elderly. To overcome these obstacles, proactive strategies have been implemented, including door-to-door outreach, the formation of RT/RW (neighborhood/community unit)-based groups, and capacity building for cadres through training. This approach has been effective in increasing participation and expanding health services. The program's success is also supported by cross-sectoral collaboration and the active involvement of the village government, community leaders, religious organizations, and universities. Sound village policies and appropriate budget allocation are crucial for the sustainability of these activities, as is cooperation with community organizations and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives from nearby companies. Furthermore, diversifying activities such as routine check-ups, health education, elderly exercise, and supplementary feeding has been able to boost the motivation of older adults. Strengthening the role of cadres and educating families on assisting the elderly are also key to success. Data and case studies demonstrate that optimization success depends not only on physical aspects and resources but also on social aspects, such as community awareness and family involvement. Overall, the collaboration of all community components and the village government, along with appropriate strategies and improved facilities, are the main factors in enhancing the health and quality of life of the elderly in Ngepung Village.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the content of life skills in life skills training activities at LKP Karya Prima. The method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection through closed questionnaires given to 20 active training participants. Data analysis was carried out using percentage techniques to identify the proportion of each life skills indicator. The results showed that vocational skills were the most dominant aspect with a percentage of 31%, followed by personal skills at 24%, academic skills at 23%, and social skills at 22%. This finding shows that the development of life skills at LKP Karya Prima emphasizes vocational skills, but still pays attention to personal, academic, and social aspects in a balanced manner. The four indicators complement each other in forming the participants' life skills as a whole

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Village Fund program (Dana Desa) in enhancing community welfare in Lebeteng Village, Tarub district, Tegal Regency. Employing a qualitative approach, the research explores the implementation process, supporting factors, constraints, and its impact on local development comprehensively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis involving various stakeholders such as the village head, village apparatus, community members, and local leaders. The findings reveal that the Village Fund positively influences infrastructure development, access to basic services, local economic growth, and community empowerment. Active participation of residents in planning, implementation, and monitoring significantly boosts accountability and program sustainability. Cross-sector collaboration also plays a crucial role in expanding resource mobilization, accelerating target achievement, and strengthening synergy among actors involved. Nonetheless, challenges remain, including limited human resource capacity, transparency and accountability issues, and restricted access to technology and information. Therefore, efforts to enhance village officials' capacity, strengthen oversight mechanisms, and promote broader community participation are necessary to maximize and sustain the benefits of the Village Fund. The study concludes that the Village Fund has substantial potential as an effective development instrument when managed transparently, accountably, and inclusively. Successful implementation not only improves community socio-economic well-being but also fosters village independence and competitiveness, progressing toward a more developed, autonomous, and prosperous village. Overall, this program underscores the importance of participatory, transparent, and accountable governance in local development and highlights its role in realizing sustainable community progress, contributing to national policy refinement and village-level empowerment.

Abstract

Instilling Pancasila values from an early age serves as a crucial foundation in shaping the character of elementary school students, particularly amidst the challenges posed by digitalization and globalization. This study employs a literature review approach to explore strategies for implementing character education based on Pancasila principles. The analysis encompasses relevant academic sources published between 2020 and 2025. Findings indicate that core values such as tolerance, cooperation, and social justice can be effectively integrated through project-based learning, interactive digital media, and active collaboration between schools and families. Nonetheless, challenges persist, including the influence of unfiltered digital content and discrepancies between home and school environments. This study underscores the need for a holistic approach that incorporates cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions, along with the development of innovative and context-sensitive strategies. The results are expected to contribute to strengthening character education rooted in Pancasila within primary education settings.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are a benchmark for achieving learning objectives in schools, but it is not uncommon for learning outcomes to be one of the problems that are often experienced in various school institutions. Learning problems and school demands cause anxiety, such as difficulty managing study time, anxiety of failing exams and grades below the standard are considered to be problems that are often found in schools. This study aims to determine how junior high school students' learning outcomes are influenced by the school environment and their learning motivation. This study combines literature study methodology with a qualitative approach. Books, journals, and articles relevant to the research topic are examples of research sources. The findings of the study indicate that learning motivation and the school environment have a significant impact on junior high school students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research provides an in-depth analysis of the various efforts made by teachers at SLB Karya Murni B Medan to increase deaf students' active participation through the implementation of spoken language adaptation measures. The researcher adopted a descriptive qualitative approach to collect data through a series of direct observations, in-depth interviews, and comprehensive notes to describe the learning process and the dynamics of teacher-student interaction. The research findings show that teachers have implemented various spoken language adaptation strategies in a consistent and structured manner, supported by close collaboration with families and provision of adequate facilities. However, educators still face many key challenges, such as the different abilities of individual students and the limitations of learning media, which need to be addressed systematically. The implementation of oral adaptation is proven to have a significant impact on increasing students' active engagement in the learning process, not only academically but also in terms of their socio-emotional development. This study makes an important contribution to the development of inclusive education and provides concrete recommendations to improve the quality of learning for deaf students in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines the role of teachers as counseling agents in managing academic stress among students at SMAN 1 Palangka Raya. In the context of increasing academic demands, students often experience psychological pressure that negatively impacts their mental health and performance. This study employs qualitative methods, including observations and in-depth interviews, to identify teachers' roles in detecting stress symptoms and providing emotional support. The findings reveal that teachers can implement adaptive teaching methods and create a comfortable classroom atmosphere, helping students cope with stress. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of collaboration among teachers, parents, and school counselors in creating a healthy learning environment that supports both academic and psychosocial development of students comprehensively.

Abstract

The phenomenon of dual citizenship has become increasingly relevant in the context of globalization and high human mobility. This article examines the dynamics of dual citizenship from the perspectives of law and state sovereignty, which often give rise to challenges such as jurisdictional conflicts, double taxation, and uncertainty regarding individuals’ legal status. From the standpoint of sovereignty, dual citizenship presents dilemmas of loyalty, potential foreign intervention, and difficulties for the state in monitoring and protecting its citizens. This study employs a normative juridical approach supported by empirical data, analyzing statutory regulations and literature from books, journals, and relevant articles. The findings show that dual citizenship policies vary across countries, influenced by their respective national interests in terms of security, politics, and economics. In conclusion, to address the complexity of this phenomenon, dual citizenship policies should be designed to balance the protection of individual rights with national interests, supported by adaptive regulations that preserve legal stability and national sovereignty.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of local wisdom-based Sociology learning in strengthening students' understanding of regional culture at SMAN 1 Boyolangu. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were teachers and 12th-grade students. The results indicate that the learning process integrates elements of local culture into Sociology materials through discussions, cultural site visits, and local case studies. This implementation positively impacts students by increasing their learning interest, cultural understanding, and sense of pride in local heritage. Challenges include limited local-based learning resources and insufficient teacher training. These findings suggest that a local wisdom-based approach is effective in supporting contextual and meaningful learning.

Abstract

This study analyzes the strategies used by educators to improve learning motivation of mentally retarded students at SLB Negeri North Sumatra. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study consisted of mentally retarded class teachers and seven students with varying levels of difficulty. The results showed that students' learning motivation varied, with some students showing enthusiasm for fun and relevant activities. The five main strategies applied by teachers include: (1) individual and contextual learning strategies with an emphasis on the learning by doing method, (2) the use of varied learning media such as visual media, flashcards, learning videos, and interactive applications, (3) giving rewards in the form of verbal praise and small prizes and proportional educational punishments, (4) creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive learning environment with positive communication, and (5) active cooperation with parents through communication. The main supporting factors are teachers, a school environment, and good relationships with parents, while inhibiting factors include low parental awareness and students' socio-economic conditions. The success of the strategy can be seen from the increase in more active student behavior. This study concludes that the learning motivation of mentally retarded students can be increased through an adaptive approach that involves all parties.
