Abstract

This study aims to analyse the business feasibility of education through economic, market, legal, technical, and financial aspects, using a literature review methodology. The data sources consist of secondary data obtained from scientific journal articles, previous research findings, policy reports, and academic documents relevant to the management of educational businesses. The literature analysed was selected based on criteria of topic relevance to the business feasibility study of education, source credibility, and a publication span of the last ten years to ensure the findings remain relevant to current conditions. The analysis was conducted by examining and comparing a number of selected articles to identify patterns, dominant factors, and interrelationships between aspects that influence the success of educational enterprises. The results of the analysis indicate that economic aspects influence public purchasing power and the stability of an institution’s income; market aspects determine opportunities for sustainability through demand levels and competition; legal aspects ensure legal compliance and operational certainty; technical aspects relate to the readiness of infrastructure and human resources; whilst financial aspects are the primary determinant through budget planning, cost management, and funding sources. Thus, a business feasibility study for an educational institution serves as the basis for strategic decision-making to minimise risk and ensure the sustainability of the institution.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems found in students with mild autism spectrum disorder in class II at SLB Al-Ikhlas Bukittinggi who do not have the ability to understand the concepts of right and left directions. This study aims to improve the ability to understand spatial concepts using Sensory Path Space media. The research method used is a quantitative experimental method, specifically a Single Subject Research (SSR) design A-B. The subject of this study is a child with mild autism spectrum disorder at SLB Al-Ikhlas Bukittinggi. Data were collected through action tests with visual graph data analysis, which served as the analysis within and between conditions. The research results indicate that the use of Sensory Path Space media can improve the ability to understand spatial concepts in children with autism spectrum disorder, as evidenced by an increase in scores from a stable baseline phase of 33.33% to 83.33% during the intervention phase. Nevertheless, this study has limitations because it involved only one subject, focusing on the concepts of right and left space, and the child's responses were not always consistent throughout the intervention process. Therefore, it is recommended that future research involves more subjects, expands the coverage of spatial concept material, and develops more innovative and adaptive learning media so that the research results can be more optimal and have broader generalizability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the andragogical approach in the religious character development of adult converts at the Centre for the Development of Indigenous Civilisation (PETAMA) in Pahang, Malaysia. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilising data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The data were analysed using thematic analysis through the stages of data reduction, theme grouping, and drawing conclusions to identify patterns of andragogical application in the development process. The results of the analysis indicate that the andragogical approach was applied in a structured manner, positioning participants as active subjects in experience-based learning. Key findings reveal three significant patterns: participatory learning, the integration of religious material with participants’ life experiences, and the role of the facilitator in emphasising spiritual guidance. The impact of this application is evident in the increased religious understanding, changes in religious attitudes and behaviour, and the growth of independence and self-confidence among adult converts. Thus, the andragogical approach has proven effective in supporting the development of religious character in a more meaningful and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This article analyses the integration of global education, cultural diversity, inclusive education and artificial intelligence (AI) in building an open, adaptive and equitable learning ecosystem. The research employs a qualitative approach using a PRISMA-based Systematic Literature Review of 20 reputable scientific articles, which were analysed through thematic synthesis to identify patterns, conceptual contributions, and research gaps. The findings indicate that global education plays a role in fostering cross-cultural awareness and social responsibility, whilst cultural diversity demands learning designs that are responsive to differences in learners’ identities, languages, and experiences. Inclusive education serves as a key principle ensuring access, participation, and learning success for all learners without discrimination. On the other hand, AI contributes to personalised learning, learning analytics, and improved accessibility, yet it also poses challenges such as algorithmic bias, the digital divide, and privacy issues. The novelty of this research lies in a conceptual model that positions AI as an enabler within a humanistic, ethical, and culturally responsive educational framework, rather than as the central focus of learning. Consequently, the integration of these four aspects forms a crucial foundation for the development of a more inclusive, meaningful, and sustainable education system

Abstract

This study focuses on the depiction of the character of Moana 2 in the context of liberal feminism, particularly in relation to the issue of women's equality and autonomy in the public sphere. The purpose of this study is to identify the form of representation of liberal feminism shown through Moana's character and actions in the film. This study uses a qualitative approach with thematic analysis method. The research data consists of dialogues, images, words, phrases, and sentences contained in the film, which were collected through documentation techniques and repeated observations. Data analysis was carried out through initial coding stages, grouping themes, and thematic interpretation with reference to the framework of the seven main principles of liberal feminism, and supported by secondary sources in the form of relevant books and scientific articles. The results of the study indicate that of the seven main principles of liberal feminism, six principles are clearly represented in Moana's character and actions. These principles include individual autonomy, freedom of choice, moral and rational equality, participation in the public sphere and citizenship, achievement based on merit, and efforts to reform discriminatory practices. These findings confirm that Moana is depicted as an independent, rational female character with leadership capacity equal to that of men, thus this film represents the values of liberal feminism consistently and meaningfully.

Abstract

This study examines the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education, focusing on its implications for students’ critical thinking skills and academic integrity. Although the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Grammarly is becoming increasingly common in the completion of academic assignments, understanding of how lecturers monitor and respond to their use remains limited. This study aims to uncover the strategies, challenges, and experiences of lecturers in monitoring students’ use of AI. The study employs a phenomenological qualitative approach, involving six lecturers from various universities in Indonesia. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews and analysed using thematic analysis, which includes the stages of transcription, repeated reading, data coding, grouping codes into themes, and interpretation of meaning. The results indicate that lecturers identify AI use through discrepancies between students’ oral and written abilities, rigid and repetitive language patterns, and inconsistencies in the academic writing process. The findings also suggest that over-reliance on AI has the potential to weaken critical thinking skills and threaten the authenticity of academic work. The main challenges faced by lecturers include limited detection tools, the absence of clear institutional policies, and ethical dilemmas in balancing technological innovation and academic integrity. This study highlights the importance of strengthening AI literacy, robust policies, and process-based assessment

Abstract

This study aims to reconstruct Islamic education based on religious moderation as an effort to strengthen deradicalisation in post-conflict society in Poso. This study employs a qualitative approach, emphasising the social experiences and religious practices of the community. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with religious leaders, educators and community members, as well as through observation of Islamic educational practices and daily religious life. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis, conducted through the stages of data reduction, coding, theme grouping, interpretation of meaning, and drawing contextual conclusions. The results of the study indicate that religious moderation is understood in diverse ways, not merely as a normative concept, but also as the result of shared life experiences within socially vulnerable, conflict-prone situations. The reconstruction of Islamic education occurs not only in the curriculum but also in teaching methods and religious social practices. The values of tolerance (tasamuh), balance (tawazun), justice (i‘tidal), and moderation (wasathiyah) are internalised through daily social interactions. Deradicalisation in this context develops as a cultural process that unfolds gradually through dialogue and setting a good example. Although the region still faces challenges in the form of lingering conflict and exclusive religious views, there are local initiatives that are helping to strengthen social cohesion and build a more inclusive and sustainable community

Abstract

The transformation of education in the digital age demands fundamental changes to the role of history teachers to align with the Society 5.0 paradigm, which positions technology as a means of enhancing the quality of learning. This study aims to analyse the transformation of the history teacher’s role, the challenges faced, and adaptation strategies in 21st-century learning. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through case studies. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, whilst data analysis utilises an interactive analysis model comprising data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that history teachers no longer act merely as conveyors of subject matter, but have evolved into learning facilitators, curators of digital historical sources, innovators of learning media, and mentors in digital literacy and character development for students. The use of technologies such as Learning Management Systems, interactive multimedia, digital archives, virtual tours of historical sites, and artificial intelligence is capable of increasing student participation and strengthening a more critical and contextual understanding of history. However, this transformation still faces obstacles in the form of limited digital competence among teachers, infrastructure gaps, and a lack of continuous training. The limitation of this study lies in the research focus, which is still limited to a certain context and uses a qualitative approach. Future research is recommended to expand the scope of the study and combine a quantitative approach in order to obtain more comprehensive results
