Abstract

The Generation of 45 Institution was established by the President of the Republic of Indonesia with Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 50 of 1984 as an institution engaged in the field of moral strength in order to continue to preserve the Spirit and Values ​​of the Struggle of 45 to the younger generation of the nation's successors in filling development after the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 1945. The Regional Daily Council of the Generation of 45 of East Java Province as the Generation of 45 Organization in the framework of its main task of preserving the spirit, Spirit of Values ​​​​of 45 to the components of the younger generation filling independence, has a desire to remind all components of the young generation of the nation as the next generation who will continue development in filling the independence of the Republic of Indonesia to understand the history and culture of their nation by continuing to preserve the values ​​​​of the struggle of the Indonesian nation which at that time was ready to sacrifice body and soul for the realization of an independent, united, just and prosperous Indonesian state as the national ideals of the Indonesian nation are stated in the Preamble to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The Generation of 45 Organization as an organization engaged in the field of Moral Force has an obligation and cares to continue to maintain the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business model of Pentol CW MSMEs with a Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach and SWOT description. The data collection method uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that Pentol CW has advantages in the mass customer segment, a value proposition based on unique flavors and affordable prices, as well as customer relationships that are built directly and personally. Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve the accountability of School Operational Assistance (BOS) fund management through basic financial management training for school principals and treasurers within the Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Foundation in Kolaka. Initial assessments revealed that most participants lacked adequate understanding of systematic budgeting and proper financial recording based on current regulations. Through intensive training and mentoring, participants demonstrated significant improvements in their ability to develop school budgets (RKAS) based on actual needs, manage budget revisions, and operate digital BOS reporting applications (ARKAS and BOP Salur). Beyond technical competencies, the program also fostered greater awareness of the importance of accountability, transparency, and good governance in managing public funds. Institutional impacts included initiatives to establish internal SOPs, improve financial archiving systems, and involve school committees in planning and reporting processes. The foundation responded positively, committing to make similar training an annual agenda and to develop an integrated digital financial monitoring system. Overall, this program successfully laid the groundwork for a culture of professional and responsible school financial management as part of broader efforts to enhance the quality of education.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out at SMPN 4 Panarukan Satap, Situbondo Regency, with the aim of providing environmental education and skills in processing plastic waste into plasbut paving blocks using environmentally friendly technology. The background of this activity is the low level of community awareness around the school in maintaining environmental cleanliness, as well as the habit of drying rengginang (traditional crackers) on piles of garbage. On the other hand, the school has an extracurricular program focusing on environmental awareness, but it faces obstacles in the waste processing activities, particularly due to air pollution caused by the smoke released during the production of paving blocks made from plastic, sand, and coconut fiber (plasbut paving blocks). The implementation methods included socialization, training on paving block production utilizing solar energy and LPG, and mentoring through the Marine Entrepreneur School (MES) extracurricular program. The results showed an increase in students’ knowledge and skills, production efficiency up to 75% faster compared to manual methods, and a reduction in air pollution through the use of smoke-filtering technology. The sustainability of the program is supported by its integration into the school’s co-curricular activities. This program has implications for improving environmental awareness, enhancing students’ entrepreneurial skills, and reducing the volume of plastic waste in coastal areas.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of improving the public speaking skills of students of SMK Negeri 2 Sepatan, Tangerang, especially the Department of Accounting and Institutional Finance. The background of this activity departs from the problem of low confidence and oral communication skills of students which has an impact on their limitations in conveying ideas, making presentations, and facing job interviews. The implementation method uses a socialization, simulation, and hands-on approach for three hours, focusing on mastering basic communication concepts, techniques for overcoming nervousness, and effective messaging strategies. Participants in the activity as many as 152 students showed active involvement throughout the training process. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' courage to speak in public, the ability to use clear intonation, and the preparation of a more coherent message structure. In addition, students also show higher motivation to develop communication skills as a provision to face the world of work. From the partner side, the school appreciates this activity because it supports the development of soft skills that are rarely given in the formal curriculum. Overall, this service activity has been proven to have a positive impact on both students and schools, and can be replicated in other educational institutions to strengthen the work readiness of the younger generation.

Abstract

English proficiency at the elementary school level is often still low due to monotonous teaching methods that do not fully engage students in the learning process. This condition highlights the need for innovative teaching strategies that can encourage greater student participation. This community service activity aimed to strengthen the English competence of fifth-grade students through the implementation of the Active Learning method at SDIT Al-Muthmainnah, Jambi City. The program was carried out using a participatory approach through three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Activities included assisting teachers in designing lesson plans, conducting classroom learning based on Active Learning, and evaluating the outcomes of the program. The results showed that the application of Active Learning successfully enhanced student engagement, improved vocabulary mastery, and fostered students’ confidence in using basic English for communication. Moreover, teachers gained valuable experience in creating a more interactive, creative, and enjoyable learning environment. The implication of this activity is that the Active Learning method can serve as an alternative strategy for teaching English at the elementary level, as it has proven effective in strengthening students’ competencies while supporting a more participatory and meaningful learning process.

Abstract

Urban villages hold crucial and strategic function in national development. Urban village is recognized as the smallest entity equivalent to a village. According to Government Regulation Number 73 of 2005 about Urban Village explains that urban village is led by “Lurah”. The leader of urban village has responsibility to manage the local resources, aiming to empower local community service, welfare, and foster self-sufficiency. To accomplish these goals, it requires professional local governance. However, there are still urban villages that indicate lack of adequate capacity to implement good governance in line with established standards. This research presents a community service program conducted by lecturers at accounting department, economic and business faculty in Jambi University, focusing local governance enhancement in Olak Kemang Urban Village, Jambi City. The main activities highlighted strengthening financial management and optimized digital tools to improve quality and effective communication with local community in Olak Kemang. According to the activities conducted showed that the urban village officials in Olak Kemang should enhance ability and skill in financial management and technology utilization, particularly optimize social media use. These initiatives are expected to foster greater accountability and transparency in financial management and public service within the urban village.

Abstract

Technological advancement has significantly influenced parenting patterns, including in Sirnaresmi Village, Gunung Guruh District, Sukabumi Regency. Many children use gadgets primarily for entertainment without adequate supervision, making them vulnerable to addiction and exposure to inappropriate content. This community service program aimed to improve mothers’ understanding of how to guide their children in using gadgets safely and productively. The activity employed a participatory socialization method through interactive lectures, group discussions, Q&A sessions, and simple simulations. An evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test assessments to measure changes in participants’ knowledge.The results indicated a considerable improvement in three key aspects: parental guidance, internet ethics and safety, and strategies for managing screen time and selecting appropriate content. The average score for parental guidance increased from 48 to 82 (70%), internet ethics and safety from 46 to 72 (56%), and screen-time and content-management strategies from 44 to 75 (70%). This program was considered moderately successful because the concise, practical material encouraged active participation, despite time constraints and minor technical issues.

Abstract

Blimbing Village, located in Mojo District, Kediri Regency, possesses superior horticultural potential in the form of durian. However, its utilization is still limited, which prevents it from generating a significant economic impact for the community. One of the main problems is the suboptimal management of the abundant durian peel waste after harvest, which leads to environmental issues. In reality, this waste has economic potential to be processed into environmentally friendly charcoal briquettes with broad market prospects. On the other hand, the limited use of digital technology prevents the marketing of local products from reaching a wider consumer base.This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of the Blimbing Village Youth Organization (Karang Taruna) in two main aspects: (1) production of charcoal briquettes based on durian peel waste, and (2) product marketing through a digital marketing strategy.The methods used include socialization, technical training on briquette production, entrepreneurship and digital marketing training (Instagram, TikTok, and Shopee), and implementation assistance in the field. The results of the activity show a significant increase in production skills, evidenced by the briquette quality being denser, more uniform, and having a longer burn time compared to wood charcoal. From a marketing perspective, the Youth Organization successfully created digital business accounts, uploaded educational content, and began marketing the product via Shopee.Overall, this program successfully integrated innovation based on local potential with a digital marketing strategy, thereby increasing the community's knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Abstract

The title of this activity is "Implementation of the Students Facilitator and Explaining Learning Method Using Vlog Media in Social Studies Learning at State Senior High School 1 Bojong Gede, Bogor Regency." This activity aims to improve teacher teaching skills and student activeness in Social Studies (IPS) learning through the application of the Students Facilitator and Explaining method combined with digital media in the form of vlogs. This method encourages students to actively explain the material to their classmates with teacher guidance, while vlog media is used as a means to document and convey their understanding creatively. In addition to improving material understanding, this approach is also expected to develop students' communication, collaboration, and digital literacy skills. The activity will be implemented through training for Social Studies teachers at State Senior High School 1 Bojong Gede, mentoring in implementing the method in the classroom, and evaluating the results of the implementation. It is hoped that this activity can be an innovative alternative in the learning process that is more fun, interactive, and relevant to technological developments.
