Abstract

The mentoring program for novice independent workers in Pematang Kandis Village aims to increase the entrepreneurial capacity of the community through the understanding and application of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) as a simple and systematic business planning tool. This activity is motivated by the still low competitiveness and managerial capabilities of novice independent workers in developing sustainable business plans, due to limited access to training and business planning or the still low capabilities of Human Resources. Mentoring through this program can be an important instrument in developing local entrepreneurial potential by implementing activity implementation methods including socialization, training, focus group discussions, and individual assistance in preparing the BMC consisting of customer segments, value propositions, distribution channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, main activities, key partners, and cost structures. Participants also showed an increased understanding of the importance of mature and systematic business planning. This activity is expected to be the first step in creating resilient and competitive independent entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The following are the steps he took with one hundred and fifty students at the Institute of Tourism and International Business and Telkom Unversity. The result in this article show that The socialization in this article aims to teach students how to use the Semantic Scholar application to improve the quality of their article. One indicator of quality article can be seen from quality references. Semantic Scholar is an AI that offers a myriad of quality references to improve article quality. Some of the advantages of Semantic Scholar include the following: 1. Article Efficiency: With its unique ability to identify context and relationships, Semantic Scholar can save article time. Auhtors no longer need to sort through hundreds of articles just to find relevant ones. 2. Faster Innovation: With easier access to relevant article, innovation can happen more quickly. This can have a positive impact on various industries and disciplines. 3. Article Empowerment: Semantic Scholar empowers auhtors to explore various disciplines and gain a better understanding of their fields. 4. Open Access: One important aspect of Semantic Scholar is open access. This means that most of the content you find in it is freely accessible. This is a major step in democratizing access to knowledge. Based on this, auhtors believe that this socialization can gradually improve the quality of student article.

Abstract

Adolescents face problems related to imperfect body shape, which is related to physical changes that do not align with their expectations. They believe that the ideal standard should match the characteristics of idols on social media. This often triggers negative perceptions of body image, lowers self-esteem, and leads to social isolation and difficulty adapting. The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between body image and self-esteem in adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 1Kediri Tabanan. This quantitative research uses a correlational research type and a cross-sectional approach. The sample was taken using a non-probability sampling technique, specifically total sampling, with 117 adolescent girls as participants. The data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank test to measure the strength of the correlation between two categorical variables using an ordinal scale. The results showed a coefficient of α=0.05 with a p-value of 0.001, meaning the p-value < α (α=0.05), which indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The Correlation Coefficient value is 0.296, which indicates a weak correlation. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a weak relationship between body image and self-esteem in adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 1 Kediri Tabanan. It is hoped that this study will provide insights to adolescent girls about the importance of a positive body image and high self-esteem.

Abstract

Toxic Relationship terdiri dari dua kata, yaitu toxic yang artinya racun, dan kata relationship yang artinya keterhubungan. penelitian ini menggali dampak Toxic Relationship pada kesehatan psikologis Mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Manado. Toxic Relationship sendiri memberikan rasa tidak aman pada diri sendiri bahkan lingkungan sekitar dan dampak terparahnya dapat memberikan dampak pada fisk maupun mental bagi korban. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi karena hal seperti ini termasuk fenomena yang terjadi di kalangan anak muda usia 18-23 tahun, penulis melakukan wawancara kepada narasumber terkait untuk mendalami mengenai Toxic Relationship. Dalam metode penelitian kualitatif ini, Wawancara dilakukan terhadap 5 orang yang pernah mengalami Toxic Relationship untuk mendengarkan berbagai pendapat dan memahami apa saja yang mereka rasakan dan dampak apa saja yang terjadi pada mereka setelah menjalankan dan berada pada Toxic Relationship, juga bagaimana cara mereka keluar dari situasi itu. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan wawancara dengan lima narasumber, ditemukan tanggapan dari narasumber mengenai Toxic Relationship yaitu : Hubungan Yang Merugikan Diri Sendiri, Menggunakan kata-kata kasar, Membuat Cemas, Stress dan Depresi, Membuat Trauma. Oleh itu Toxic Relationship pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Manado berdampak signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental dan fisik.

Abstract

Petani semangka di Dusun Pelambik, Desa Jerowaru, Lombok Timur merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan dan memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor pertanian, namun dari hasil survei menunjukkan para petani masih menghadapi kendala dalam promosi dan pemasaran hasil panen. Ketergantungan pada tengkulak atau pengepul menyebabkan petani tidak memiliki kendali terhadap harga jual, dan pemahaman mereka terkait strategi branding serta pemasaran digital masih rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan petani melalui sosialisasi dan edukasi marketing serta branding digital guna membentuk petani semangka yang cerdas dan mandiri. Pendekatan dari kegiatan ini bersifat partisipatif, dengan tahapan kegiatan meliputi observasi lapangan, identifikasi kebutuhan para petani semangka, pembuatan konten visual, serta pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan edukasi strategi pemasaran dan branding digital. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan keterlibatan langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas petani dalam memahami pentingnya citra produk,marketing dan promosi digital. 1 (satu) video berhasil diproduksi, menampilkan proses budidaya, keunggulan lokal, serta nilai-nilai kearifan petani setempat. Penerapan media digital terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat citra, meningkatkan daya saing produk, serta membangun kepercayaan diri dan kemandirian petani. Kegiatan ini dapat direplikasi sebagai model pemberdayaan kreatif di bidang sektor pertanian lainnya

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model oriented towards fun learning with the One Stay Another Stray (OSAS) technique on students' communication skills in the reproductive system material. This research was a pre-experimental study with a quantitative approach. The sample was class XI.F1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Kapur IX in the 2024/2025 academic year, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using essay tests on communication skills administered through pretest and posttest. The results showed that the average posttest score was higher than the pretest score, increasing from 38.79 to 84.39. Normality and homogeneity tests indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The paired sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of the PBL model with OSAS on students’ communication skills. These findings suggest that implementing PBL combined with a fun learning approach and OSAS technique effectively enhances students’ communication abilities.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum gives schools and teachers the freedom to adjust the curriculum to current developments. Given the importance of the role of teaching modules, the modules must be compiled completely, systematically, and operationally in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to review several literature studies related to the implementation of Biology teaching modules in the Merdeka Curriculum. This research method uses PRISMA through the Publish or Perish software version 8 as a medium for collecting data and information relevant to the writing of this journal. The findings indicate that the characteristics and suitability of the implementation of teaching modules are in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum and there are several obstacles or challenges in the implementation of biology teaching modules, one of which is the lack of teacher training and understanding of the concept and technical preparation of teaching modules.

Abstract

The power of social media in society influences new forms and ways of being. The use of social media brings changes and shifts in the life of the new world. The main objective of this activity is to provide assistance in increasing the capacity of the Bunga Village Government of North Luwuk Sub-district through social media management in order to form new work patterns in the management of system-based and visual public service information. This service is expected to contribute theoretically and practically in efforts to assist in increasing the capacity of village governments through social media management. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a participatory method. Village governments are directly involved, especially in social media management, and are encouraged to implement the results of the assistance on an ongoing basis. The results of the service activities show that the assistance carried out in the Bunga village government, North Luwuk sub-district, can have a positive impact on the understanding of the village government in increasing the capacity of the village government through social media management, which in turn contributes to improving the quality of social media management.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) serve not only as centers for religious and academic development but also play a crucial role in shaping students' character, particularly their self-confidence. This study aims to explore the mentoring methods implemented at Pesantren Tebuireng to enhance students’ self-confidence, enabling them to adapt and actively contribute within society. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation for data collection. Findings reveal that mentors at Pesantren Tebuireng use methods such as role modeling, personal approach, organizational involvement, and training in public speaking and leadership. These approaches effectively foster students’ confidence, independence, and readiness to engage in social life. A supportive and collaborative environment within the pesantren also strengthens the mentoring process. This study recommends consistent and innovative mentoring practices to nurture students who are not only spiritually grounded but also confident and competent in societal settings.

Abstract

Contemporary Islamic education faces serious challenges in responding to the diversity of schools of thought and the potential for intolerance in learning environments. This article aims to critically reflect on QS. al-Hujurat:10 as a theological foundation for developing an inclusive religious moderation education. Using a thematic interpretation approach and literature study, the author examines the exegesis of the verse from classical and contemporary scholars' perspectives and relates it to the current context of Islamic education. The study reveals that the values of Islamic brotherhood, peaceful conflict resolution, and piety as a prerequisite for God's mercy are core principles that can be integrated into Islamic religious learning in schools and pesantrens. Moreover, this article proposes learning strategies based on dialogue, collaborative work, and social reflection as practical implementations of moderation values in education. The findings reaffirm the relevance of QS. al-Hujurat:10 in shaping a tolerant, inclusive generation of Muslims who are ready to become agents of peace in a pluralistic society.
