Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) are important indicators of a country's health. The target for reducing MMR in 2024 is 183 per 100,000 live births, and IMR is 16 per 1,000 live births (Ministry of Health, 2024). To achieve optimal health, the role of midwives is very important in detecting complications during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and newborn care. This study aims to describe the implementation of Continuity of Care for Mrs. N at the Banjardawa Community Health Center, Pemalang, by implementing Varney's 7 steps and SOAP documentation from pregnancy to newborn. The research method uses a qualitative case study with midwifery management based on Varney's 7 steps. The study was conducted at the Banjardawa Community Health Center, Pemalang Regency, on October 17, 2024–June 14, 2025, with Mrs. N, 25 years old, as the subject. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies (medical records, KIA books, ultrasound results, and partographs). The results showed that the midwives carried out all stages of midwifery care according to procedures, from assessment to evaluation during pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and newborn care. Ms. N's ongoing midwifery care went smoothly without any danger signs or complications.

Abstract

Community empowerment through education on local wisdom architecture was carried out at Taman Salma Shofa Samarinda to provide new students and the community of Taman Salma Shofa in Sungai Pinang Rt.17 Samarinda with an understanding of the importance of architecture based on local wisdom and to foster students' awareness of the preservation of local culture through an architectural approach. The methods used in this activity were participatory and interactive, with material on Local Wisdom Architecture covering philosophy, function, and its application in a modern context. Participants gained knowledge and understanding of the importance of preserving cultural diversity in the context of architecture. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge of local wisdom architecture that can be applied in the modern era and fostered collective awareness of the importance of cultural preservation in development. This activity is expected to inspire the use of local wisdom values in contemporary architectural design.

Abstract

Scientific writing is one of the essential competencies that students must possess, yet it is often hindered by difficulties in managing references and proper citations. This community service aims to enhance students’ ability to write scientific papers systematically and efficiently through the utilization of Mendeley as a reference management tool. The activities were conducted in the form of workshops and hands-on practice using Mendeley, covering installation, literature management, and the creation of citations and bibliographies according to academic standards. The methods employed included a combination of demonstration, discussion, and direct practice with student participants at HKBP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar. The results of the community service indicated a significant improvement in students’ skills in managing references, facilitating citation writing, and accelerating the process of preparing scientific papers. Thus, the use of Mendeley can serve as an effective strategy to support students’ academic productivity and enhance the quality of scientific writing

Abstract

The family is a fundamental social unit that plays a vital role in shaping individual well-being in physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects. Family harmony serves as the foundation for developing a healthy personality and a prosperous society. However, in reality, conflicts, violence, and injustice often threaten household integrity. This article aims to analyze the concept of a harmonious and prosperous family from a legal perspective, particularly through the implementation of Law No. 23 of 2004 on the Elimination of Domestic Violence (UU PKDRT). The study applies a normative legal research method with a descriptive qualitative approach based on a literature review, covering primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The findings indicate that a harmonious and prosperous family cannot rely solely on religious teachings and moral values but also requires firm legal instruments to protect family members, especially women and children, from threats of physical, psychological, sexual violence, and neglect. Therefore, synergy among religious values, social norms, and positive law is essential to achieve a harmonious, peaceful, and prosperous household in line with national ideals.

Abstract

The use of gadgets among elementary school children has significantly increased, bringing both positive and negative impacts. While gadgets can serve as effective learning tools through educational applications and digital literacy, excessive use may lead to problems such as reduced social interaction, decreased learning concentration, and eye health risks. This study aims to provide education to students of SD Inpres 6/75 Libureng regarding the impacts of gadget use and to foster awareness of its wise utilization. The research employed an educational approach through counseling, interactive discussions, and Q&A sessions with 40 fifth- and sixth-grade students as research subjects. The findings revealed that prior to the educational program, most students primarily used gadgets for entertainment, such as playing games (45%) and watching videos (35%), while learning-related use was relatively low (15%). After the educational intervention, a significant improvement was observed in students’ understanding: the high-level understanding category increased from 15% to 45%, while the low category decreased from 50% to 15%. These results demonstrate that educational approaches are effective in enhancing children’s digital literacy from an early age. Thus, this study contributes to raising awareness of the importance of parental supervision and teacher guidance to ensure that gadget use supports children’s learning and overall development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan, kelayakan, penilaian guru, serta respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran Games Board pada materi Ikatan Kimia di SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Lee & Owens (2004), yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui uji coba kelompok kecil dengan melibatkan 10 peserta didik di SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah gabungan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dan valid. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh skor rata-rata4,1, sedangkan validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh rata-rata 4,0. Penilaian guru terhadap media ini juga sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata 4,1. Sementara itu, hasil uji coba pada kelompok kecil menunjukkan total skor 551 dengan persentase 91,83%, yang dikategorikan “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut,media pembelajaran games board dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, baik secara teoritis maupun praktis, serta mendapat respon positif dari peserta didik.

Abstract

Pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital menjadi kebutuhan strategis dalam menghadapi persaingan pasar global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas pelatihan pengembangan UMKM di Desa Lamuru dengan fokus pada pemanfaatan platform E-commerce dan Google Maps sebagai media pemasaran dan promosi usaha. Berdasarkan teori transformasi digital UMKM oleh Muliati (2024) dan konsep integrasi teknologi geolokasi dalam pemasaran oleh Wahyudi, Marbun & Sianturi (2024), penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan implementasi digitalisasi usaha UMKM, yang berdampak positif pada peningkatan visibilitas usaha dan penjualan. Kendala utama yang ditemukan adalah keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan adaptasi pengguna. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk penguatan dukungan teknologi dan pelatihan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif efektivitas plang edukasi yang berisi informasi tentang lamanya waktu sampah terurai dalam mendorong perilaku ramah lingkungan pada masyarakat kelurahan Pancaitana, Kecamatan Salomekko. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini memanfaatkan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemasangan plang edukasi pada lokasi strategis secara signifikan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap bahaya jangka panjang dari sampah anorganik. Selain itu, plang tersebut turut mendorong perubahan perilaku, seperti meningkatnya kedisiplinan dalam membuang sampah, adanya upaya awal dalam pemilahan sampah, serta berkurangnya ketergantungan pada plastik sekali pakai. Dengan demikian, plang edukasi dapat dipandang sebagai media komunikasi lingkungan yang efektif, murah, dan relevan dengan konteks sosial masyarakat dalam memengaruhi pola perilaku kolektif menuju keberlanjutan.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan mengembangkan Desa Belangwetan, Klaten, sebagai Desa Layak Bahasa Indonesia melalui penerapan inovasi teknologi literasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Pemerintah Desa Belangwetan dan masyarakat setempat sebagai sasaran utama. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi desa yaitu rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar dalam ruang publik serta keterbatasan media pembelajaran bahasa di tingkat desa. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui lima tahap yakni sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan meliputi terciptanya produk inovatif berupa KIB (Kamus Interaktif Belangwetan), PPB (Papan Pintar Bahasa) berbasis QR Code, serta konten Videotron terkait kriteria desa layak Bahasa Indonesia. Produk-produk ini telah diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan masyarakat, sekolah, dan ruang publik desa. Dampak yang dicapai antara lain peningkatan literasi bahasa, kesadaran masyarakat terhadap penggunaan bahasa Indonesia, serta penguatan identitas desa sebagai percontohan Desa Layak Bahasa Indonesia. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan luaran berupa artikel pada jurnal terakreditasi Sinta, publikasi media massa, poster, dan video kegiatan.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve teachers' knowledge about the use of social media as a learning tool in the digital era. Social media is an online platform that allows interaction, information sharing, and independent content creation, such as blogs, social networks, wikis, forums, and even virtual worlds. Many individuals utilize open social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Line, and Twitter to expand their reach and increase interaction. This activity uses training methods or direct mentoring for teachers in Gunung Sugih District, Central Lampung Regency. It is hoped that this activity will improve teachers' ability to utilize social media as a learning tool in the classroom, so that students become more enthusiastic and easily understand the material. The results of the activity showed high enthusiasm from the participants from beginning to end. This is evidenced by an increase in the average score from 67.0 in the pre-test to 78.8 in the post-test, an increase of approximately 17.6%. These findings indicate that the training went smoothly and was effective in improving teachers' understanding of the use of social media in learning in the digital era.
