Abstract

The role of parents in educating children is very important, one of which is related to Islamic religious education. However, due to economic changes and high living needs, parents decided to become migrant workers. Leaving children in the care of substitute parents such as grandparents, uncles or aunts. It is known that children experience several periods, one of which is adolescence. Adolescence is a life transition both physically, psychologically and emotionally. This research aims to determine the implementation of Islamic religious education and the problems of Islamic religious education among teenagers from migrant families. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection through observation and interviews. The research results show that Islamic religious education for teenagers from migrant families is carried out in three ways, first through formal education in the form of enrolling teenagers in religion-based schools, second, through informal education, such as instilling basic Islamic values, practicing worship and example. Third, through non-formal education in the form of reciting the Koran at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) and the Koran Study House. The obstacles faced by parents' lack of involvement in religious education can result in children feeling a lack of love and attention, which has a negative impact on their emotional and spiritual development. Parenting is inconsistent and lacks discipline. It comes from the nature of grandparents and aunts who don't have the heart to scold their children and the nature of teenagers who think advice doesn't come from their biological parents.

Abstract

The increasingly competitive textile industry demands companies to optimize performance effectively. PT. MAR, as a textile manufacturing company, faces challenges in optimizing human resource performance, as employee performance remains vulnerable to failing to meet the company’s targets. This study aims to improve employee performance at PT. MAR through proposed improvements based on the Human Resources Scorecard. This study utilizes the four perspectives of the Human Resources Scorecard to design a more comprehensive performance measurement system. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is applied to determine the priority weights of each perspective and key performance indicator (KPI). The results indicate that several indicators significantly influence employee performance and require improvements, such as employee training, performance evaluation systems, and work motivation. The recommendations include enhancing the training system, adjusting incentive policies, and optimizing the KPI-based performance evaluation system. By implementing the HRSC method, the company can adopt a more comprehensive performance measurement tool that not only focuses on financial aspects but also encompasses human resource development, thereby supporting the company's competitiveness in the textile industry.

Abstract

Construction of a Hospital in Surabaya. This hospital consists of 4 buildings, where the front building will be the medical check-up building and the 3 back buildings will be the cancer, brain and heart specialist buildings. In the brain specialist building there are several corewalls that were used during its construction. The re-planning of this building was carried out by changing the location of the corewall so that we could find out which corewall location was more efficient. In designing a corewall structure, there are several aspects that need to be considered, namely base reaction, earthquake period and drift between floors of the building. Analysis of the location of the corewall was carried out using the Excel and Etabs applications based on trial and error by moving the location of the main corewall away from and closer to the center of mass and strength. From the results of the analysis, it was found that there were 2 location modifications whose results were better than the others. In Modification 1 this is done by moving away from the center of mass and stiffness and in Modification 2 the location is changed by bringing the center of mass and stiffness closer. From the results of Modification 1, the base reaction in Direction X = 13011 kN and Direction Y = 10883 kN, the deviation between floors in Direction 58.34mm. From the results of the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the results of modification 1 are with Spectra X = 13011 kN and Spectra Y = 10883 kN.
