Abstract

The course seeks to enhance educators' competencies in creating customized learning experiences with digital interactive technologies, namely platforms like Wordwall and Quizizz. The event occurred on February 11, 2025, in the Bekasi region, involving high school and vocational school educators. The training materials encompassed the concept of diversified learning, an introduction to the Wordwall and Quizizz platforms, and exercises for developing interactive media that align with suitable teaching methodologies. The activity's outcomes demonstrated a notable enhancement in instructors' competencies in the creative and contextual utilization of digital media, alongside heightened understanding of the need of adaptive learning services tailored to student needs. This initiative enhances the transformation of digital education at the secondary school level.

Abstract

The purpose of this session is to expose participants with technical and vocational educational backgrounds to LabVIEW graphics programming software. In technical and industrial domains like biotechnology, aircraft, and telecommunications, LabVIEW is a commonly used system development tool. Hands-on practice and a demonstrative approach are used in the in-person instruction. LabVIEW's foundations, industrial applications, and hardware and software integration are all covered in the curriculum. The training results show that participants have a better understanding of visual programming and its possible uses in the business. This program is a component of a larger strategy to promote Industry 4.0-aligned technological literacy.

Abstract

This article outlines a systematic training program aimed at introducing and improving participants' comprehension of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), a fundamental element in industrial automation systems. The training employed practical, hands-on workshops concentrating on fundamental PLC principles, hardware types, programming languages, and operational procedures. The participants were vocational school educators, students, and undergraduate engineering majors. The findings indicated substantial enhancements in the understanding and utilization of PLCs in automation activities, effectively connecting theoretical education with practical industry applications. The results further illustrate the efficacy of experiential learning in cultivating practical skills necessary for meeting the requirements of Industry 4.0 settings.

Abstract

This community service initiative was designed to enhance teachers competencies in utilizing Google Workspace tools specifically Google Drive, Google Slides, and Google Forms to support the integration of digital learning. Conducted through an in-person workshop on February 11, 2025, the training targeted high school and vocational school teachers in the Bekasi region. The session emphasized mastery of essential features, including cloud-based file management, creation of engaging presentations, and the development of online surveys and assessments. The outcomes revealed that participants showed a significant improvement in their ability to operate these digital tools and expressed a strong intention to integrate them into their teaching practices. Overall, this activity contributed meaningfully to the advancement of digital transformation in secondary education settings.

Abstract

This community service program was designed to strengthen the capacity of teachers and lecturers in utilizing advanced prompting techniques based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support instructional innovation. The focus of the training was on two effective methods Chain of Thought (CoT) and Role Prompting which enhance human-AI interaction in educational contexts. The activity was conducted through face-to-face workshops involving 25 participants from various educational institutions, combining theoretical explanations, hands-on practice, and case-based discussions. Participants learned how to construct structured and contextual prompts for teaching applications such as lesson planning, explanation of concepts, and simulation-based learning. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding and ability to apply prompt engineering strategies, as reflected in both assessment scores and the quality of practical outputs. The program also contributed to raising awareness about ethical AI usage in education and emphasized the role of digital literacy in enabling educators to adapt to the demands of digital transformation.

Abstract

Setiap Perguruan Tinggi diwajibkan melaksanakan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. Tridharma perguruan tinggi ini adalah Pendidikan, Penelitian, dan Pengabdian Masyarakat. Pengabdian Masyarakat merupakan kewajiban yang harus dilaksanakan per semester, hal ini dilaksanakan berkaitan dengan kepedulian yang bergerak di bidang Pendidikan khususnya Pendidikan Tinggi dengan mengikuti perkembangan dan kemajuan teknologi. Keterampilan komputer merupakan keterampilan yang sangat diperlukan dalam berbagai pekerjaan khususnya dibidang multimedia. Bidang multimedia yang disampaikan pada pengabdian masyarakat ini antara lain: video editing dengan filmora, penggunaan whiteboard animation kontent kreatif, mengelola presentasi dengan power point, tools untuk pengajaran. Bidang keterampilan ini dibutuhkan untuk peningkatan kualitas bahan ajar online bagi guru-guru MI/MTs Al-Watoniyah. Adanya pelatihan multimedia ini diharapkan bertambahnya variasi keterampilan untuk menyampaikan materi pengajaran kepada siswa-siswa MI/MTs Al-Watoniyah.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat (PKM) membahas inisiatif pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga pengajar di tingkat sekolah dan universitas melalui pelatihan penggunaan berbagai tools AI. Fokus utama adalah pada platform AI seperti ChatGPT, PerplexAI, Humata AI, ChatPDF, dan sejenisnya. Metodologi pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan menyelenggarakan serangkaian pelatihan intensif yang mencakup pengenalan, pemahaman, dan penerapan praktis tools AI dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Beberapa tools praktek yang digunakan diharapkan mampu membantu para peneliti untuk mudah dan cepat dalam menyusun laporan penelitian.

Abstract

Besarnya peluang  menjadi peneliti di Indonesia harus diimbangi dengan pemahaman yang baik bagi para calon peneliti, maupun dosen. Pendidikan tinggi merupakan  pusat pengembangan intelektual. Hal ini didukung oleh tiga dharma perguruan tinggi: pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Salah satu permasalahan penelitian di Indonesia adalah jumlah mahasiswa dan dosen yang tidak sebanding dengan jumlah publikasi yang diterbitkan. Hingga tahun 2019, Indonesia hanya menerbitkan 34.007 jurnal yang terindeks Scopus, dari 4.607 perguruan tinggi dan 177.000 dosen dan peneliti yang terdaftar dalam Indeks Sains dan Teknologi (Sinta). Salah satu penyebab rendahnya publikasi ilmiah para peneliti Indonesia adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan minat terhadap penelitian, khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa.Disamping itu pemahaman dosen tentang alat bantu untuk meneliti belum maksimal. Oleh karena itu diadakan kegiatan Pelatihan penggunaan VosViewer untuk meningkatkan kualitas penelitian dosen. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan lancar.

Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran dapat membangkitkan keinginan dan minat baru,menciptakan motivasi dan rangsangan, melaksanakan kegiatan belajar, serta memberikan dampak psikologis pada siswa. Penggunaan media pembelajaran secara signifikan meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran dan penyampaian pesan serta isi pelajaran sesuai kebutuhan kurikulum. Penggunaan alat bantu/tool berbasis multimedia untuk pembelajaran jarak jauh secara daring sangat diperlukan manakala terjadi kondisi yang mengharuskan dilakukan pertemuan secara daring/online. oleh karena itu diperlukan pelatihan penggunaan tool multimedia untuk perkuliahan secara daring agar proses belajar mengajar tetap dapat dilakukan.

Abstract

Manusia memililki kemampuan komputasi alami seperti halnya mesin komputer. Hal ini diperlukan untuk menghadapi dan mengatasi masalah yang terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Cara berpikir yag dimiliki ini dapat dioptimalkan dengan menerapkan metode yang disebut Computational Thinking atau berpikir komputasional. Berpikir Computational Thinking metode dalam menyelesaikan persoalan dengan menerapkan teknik dalam ilmu komputer. Pendekatan Computational Thinking ini apabila diterapkan pada siswa dalam proses pembelajaran maka akan membantu siswa untuk dapat melihat hubungan antara mata pelajaran dan kehidupan di luar kelas. Tujuan yang diharapkan adalah metode Computational Thinking ini dapat diimplementasi dalam proses belajar di sekolah yang nantinya akan membantu siswa untuk lebih berpikir secara komputatif dan kreatif serta merangsang daya pikir logis. Pada pelatihan ini digunakan Bahasa Pemrograman Phyton sebagai alat/tool untuk melatih daya pikir komputasional
