Abstract

Speaking skills are one of the essential language abilities that students must possess in order to communicate effectively and express their opinions. However, many students still lack confidence when speaking in class. To address this issue, the researcher applied the Talking Stick method in the learning process. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 095550 Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year with 12 students (6 male students and 6 female students) as participants. Data were collected through observation. Initially, students appeared shy and passive in expressing their opinions. However, after the implementation of the Talking Stick method, improvement was observed. In the first cycle, students showed interest and started to participate. In the second cycle, they became more confident. By the third cycle, students were active and fluent in speaking in front of the class. The results of the study indicate that the Talking Stick method effectively enhances students' speaking skills. This method encourages students to be more active, confident, and willing to express their thoughts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Gross Profit, Operating Profit, and Net Profit in predicting future cash flows in manufacturing companies within the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020–2024 period. This sector was chosen due to its crucial role in Indonesia’s economy and its consistent growth, despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, rising raw material costs, and intense market competition. In business operations, a healthy cash flow is vital to support daily activities, investments, and long-term sustainability. Therefore, the ability to predict future cash flows using financial indicators such as profits becomes essential. This research uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the financial reports published on the official IDX website. The results of the analysis show that Gross Profit, Operating Profit, and Net Profit all have a significant influence on future cash flows, both simultaneously and partially. These findings reinforce the role of profit metrics as effective predictive tools that management can use for strategic financial decision-making. This study is expected to contribute to the financial accounting literature and provide practical insights for investors, analysts, and company managers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) assisted by Canva media on students' learning outcomes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject, specifically on the topic "Plants as the Source of Life on Earth" in Grade IV of SDN Cibeber, West Bandung Regency. The background of this research is based on the low learning outcomes in IPAS, which are caused by the lack of variation in learning models and media used during the learning process, an unconducive classroom environment, and limited collaboration among peers. The research method used is a quantitative quasi-experimental method with a control group design. The sample of this study consisted of two classes totaling 56 students: Class IV A as the experimental class received treatment using the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by Canva media, while Class IV B as the control class used the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The instruments used included both tests and non-test methods. The test instruments were in the form of pretests and posttests using multiple-choice questions, while the non-test instruments included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. Based on the results of the independent t-test, the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the posttest results of the two classes. Moreover, the effect size calculation result was 1.399, which falls into the "very large" category. This proves that the implementation of the STAD model assisted by Canva media has a positive and significant effect on improving IPAS learning outcomes for Grade IV A students at SDN Cibeber, West Bandung Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of teachers’ personalities on the character development of fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Tonjong. Personality, derived from the term ‘persona’ in Latin, plays a crucial role in social interactions and learning within the school environment. Through a qualitative approach, this research involves interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and thematic analysis to identify the patterns of interaction that occur. The findings indicate that self-confidence, social support, social interaction, value teaching, and emotional management are key factors in the formation of students’ character. Teachers who can create a supportive and empathetic classroom atmosphere can enhance students’ self-confidence, strengthen social relationships, and teach positive values. These findings emphasize the importance of teachers’ roles in building students’ character and creating a productive learning environment. This research is expected to provide insights for educators and policymakers in efforts to improve the quality of education and the character development of students.

Abstract

This paper discusses communication and negotiation management in Islamic education within the context of a multicultural society. Amid Indonesia’s rich diversity of cultures, ethnicities, and religions, Islamic education faces the challenge of creating an inclusive, fair, and harmonious learning environment. Communication is not merely understood as the transmission of information but also as a medium for building cross-cultural understanding rooted in Islamic values such as ta’aruf (mutual recognition), tasamuh (tolerance), and tawazun (balance). Meanwhile, negotiation serves as a strategic instrument for resolving conflicts, fostering deliberation (musyawarah), and maintaining social justice in educational interactions. Through theoretical perspectives and implementation analysis, this paper highlights the importance of teacher training, the development of responsive educational policies, and the reinforcement of inclusive curricula. With effective communication and negotiation management, Islamic educational institutions are expected to become pioneers in nurturing a generation that is tolerant, dialogical, and appreciative of diversity as a national asset.

Abstract

Conflict is an inevitable dynamic within multicultural educational environments, including Islamic education. The diversity of cultural, religious, and ideological backgrounds in educational institutions creates a space for social interaction that is vulnerable to potential conflict. This study aims to explore effective conflict management strategies within the context of multicultural Islamic education by emphasizing Islamic values such as justice, deliberation (musyawarah), tolerance, and brotherhood (ukhuwah). The research method used is library research by analyzing various academic literatures and relevant documents. The findings indicate that conflict management in Islamic education must be comprehensive, encompassing preventive, interventive, and curative strategies. The approach should not only be technical, but also ethical and spiritual, where school principals and teachers play a central role as peace facilitators and cultivators of an inclusive school culture. This study recommends the integration of Islamic values and multiculturalism principles into educational policies and practices in order to foster a learning environment that is harmonious, just, and humane.

Abstract

This article explores in depth the strategic role of leadership and management in Islamic educational institutions. Islamic education does not merely aim to develop students intellectually, but also seeks to instill spiritual, moral, and social values. Therefore, the success of Islamic educational institutions is highly influenced by leaders who can serve as role models (uswah hasanah), possess strong managerial competencies, and uphold Islamic values such as trustworthiness (amanah), justice (‘adl), and deliberation (musyawarah). The research method employed is library research with a descriptive-analytical approach, reviewing relevant literature including scholarly books, journals, and classical and contemporary Islamic sources. The findings reveal that leadership and management grounded in Islamic values impact not only academic achievement but also significantly contribute to character building and the organizational culture of educational institutions. The implementation of prophetic leadership values and systematic management based on sharia emerges as a solution for building excellent Islamic education—responsive to contemporary developments while preserving the spiritual essence of Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze legal protection for consumers in the practice of online lending based on financial technology (fintech) in Indonesia through normative and empirical juridical approaches. The rise of consumer rights violations—such as misuse of personal data, abusive debt collection, and lack of transparency—reflects the weak enforcement of existing regulations, despite the issuance of several laws, including the Consumer Protection Law, the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE), the Personal Data Protection Law (PDP), and relevant OJK regulations. This research outlines the forms of legal protection provided, including consumers' rights to clear information, data privacy safeguards, and dispute resolution mechanisms. In practice, however, supervision over illegal online lending remains inadequate, public legal literacy is low, and available complaint mechanisms are often ineffective. The study also reveals that although dispute resolution efforts through internal (IDR), external (LAPS), and litigation channels exist, structural and cultural barriers continue to place consumers in a disadvantaged position. Therefore, a reformulation of consumer protection policies that is more progressive, integrated, and justice-oriented is urgently needed. Strengthening inter-agency coordination, enforcing criminal sanctions for serious violations, and enhancing public digital and legal literacy are strategic steps toward realizing effective legal protection in Indonesia's rapidly evolving fintech lending ecosystem.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the export strategy of Molring Sari Rasa Tasikmalaya UMKM in penetrating the Malaysian market. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data was obtained through direct collaboration with business owners and related literature. The export strategy includes cooperation with business owners, utilization of personal networks, and promotion via social media. The results show that this approach is effective in reaching Indonesian consumers in Malaysia, with a simple export process from communication, packaging, to delivery and payment through Wise services. This research confirms the potential of UMKM to penetrate international markets using digital strategies and social networks, and offers a practical export model for start-up UMKM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas pendekatan Situational Crime Prevention (SCP) dalam mencegah korupsi dana rehabilitasi pasca gempa Bantul 2006. Dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif, penelitian mengungkap bahwa 78% kasus korupsi terjadi akibat lemahnya mekanisme pengawasan dan transparansi dalam penyaluran dana bantuan. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi SCP melalui digitalisasi sistem verifikasi dan penguatan partisipasi masyarakat dapat secara signifikan mengurangi peluang terjadinya penyalahgunaan dana. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami aspek kriminologis dari pengelolaan dana bencana sekaligus menawarkan solusi praktis berbasis teori pencegahan kejahatan.
