Al-Hashif: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pendidikan Islam is an discusses and raises various issues related to Islamic education both theoretically and practically, while also raises the issue of research in Islamic education such as: technology, curriculum, media and learning model, instruments for evaluation in Islamic education, learning development for Islamic education, and action researches. Articles will be published if they were scientifically valuables, providing new knowledge and useful for the community of Islamic education. This journal is published twice a year, published in March and September. We were inviting scientists, researchers and professionals in the subject of Islamic education to submit their papers in our journal.

Abstract

Ulama are used as spiritual leaders and authorities who serve as references for the people of Aceh on various socio-cultural issues and problems faced by society on a daily basis. During the time of Sultan Iskandar Muda, ulama had a very important position and role, as stated by Adat Bak Po Teumeureuhom, Hukom Bak Syiah Kuala, Resam Bak Laksamana, Qanun Bak Putroe Phang. Meaning, Customs in the Kingdom, Laws in the Syiah Kuala Ulama; Reusam to the Admiral, Qanun to the Queen of the Kingdom. In other words, ulama play the role of giving fatwas, so that every period there are ulama who accompany the government. The aim of this research is to determine the existence of Islamic scholars and educational institutions during the Aceh Sultanate. The type of research used is literature. The data collection technique was carried out through library research, namely by collecting several articles originating from journals and books relating to the existence of Islamic scholars and educational institutions during the Aceh sultanate. The data analysis technique in this research uses content analysis, namely analyzing books, journals and other literature related to research. The results of the research show that the existence of ulama during the Aceh Sultanate as fatwa givers. At the macro level, the ulama during Sultan Iskandar Muda's time received quite high positions, namely as qadhi (qadhi malikul adil at royal level and qadhi uleebalang at naggroe level). In other words, ulama have bargaining power in decision making in the kingdom, both worldly and spiritual matters as well as the development of science and culture which has given birth to Islamic educational institutions during the Aceh sultanate, namely meunasah, frameng, dayah, dayah teungku chik and jami`ah.

Abstract

Religious learning innovations in the era of society 5.0, education providers in general, and providers of Islamic Religious Education in state universities must be more digital, think creatively, and be more imaginative and dynamic because almost all educational activities rely on advances in technology and information. Compete in the use of technology and information in learning activities, including learning Islamic Religious Education in State Universities. Revitalization of the learning system, educational units, elements of students, educators, and educational staff all play a role in the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education learning, such as the idea of ​​Islamic religious education. Descriptive and argumentative analysis was used in this research. The research results show that the Islamic Religious Education learning process is needed to compete in the use of technology and information in learning activities. An educator or lecturer who plays a leadership role in the field of education must be able to utilize digital learning applications such as e-learning. Zoom, Google Meet, Discord, Edmodo, Kahoot, and home learning, as well as the selection and application of Islamic Religious Education learning methodologies in state universities, are more harmonious and capable of producing a generation of superior and capable Muslims. Islamic religious learning innovations in public universities using digital literacy must be able to prepare students who are religiously and scientifically competent. Students will have competitiveness in the world of work if they have the capital to master digitalization in transferring their knowledge to society.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several problems that the authors found in Class VII Pondok Arabi Darul Yamani As-Syarif, especially in the Akidah Akhlak subject. Where in learning there are still students who are classified as active in asking questions, but their learning outcomes are mediocre and there are still students who are classified as passive in their beta, but their grades are very good. This research is a correlational quantitative research. The sampling technique used is total sampling, namely the population size is the same as the sample of 50 students. From the results of the analysis and discussion, it is obtained from the results of hypothesis testing using simple linear regression, then the results of parametric statistical tests then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. While the personalcorrelation value was 0.763, which means that it shows a positive relationship that the more active students ask questions, the higher the learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak. So that it can be concluded that there is a relationship / correlation between the activeness of askingquestions and the learning outcomes of the Aqidah Akhlak in class VII at Pondok Arabi Darul Yamani As-Syarif Kec. Sasak Pasaman Coastal Realm.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1. Planning, 2. Implementation, and 3. Evaluation of the Independent Learning Curriculum in Islamic Education Subjects at Junior High School. The research method is field research (field research) which is descriptive in nature, namely describing the facts as they are from the results the research obtained was in accordance with the problems under study, and the primary data source was the Islamic Education teacher, and the secondary data source was the Madrasah head and 3 class VII students using the Purposive Teacher Islamic Education Technique. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Managing data through data reduction steps, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/data verification. Related research results 1. Planning, 2. Implementation, and 3. Learning evaluation of the independent curriculum learning The objectives of the independent curriculum have been achieved in Islamic Education learning at Junior High School that have been achieved but not so perfectly that it can be said that 75% of the final results are because this curriculum has just been implemented and only implemented learn and there are no guidelines that can be followed, the results are not optimal, so that the maximum goal of the National Education is always to provide training to teachers so they can get maximum results.

Abstract

Character education is an effort to help the development of a child's soul, both physically and mentally, from his nature to a better human civilization. The focus of this research is 1) How to implement character education in early childhood through read-aloud activities in the Sumbar Membacakan Nyaring community? 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in character education in early childhood in the Sumbar. Membacakan Nyaring community? The research method used is a qualitative description, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and study documents. The data analysis techniques carried out are: 1) Data reduction 2) Data display; 3) Verification and 4) conclusion drawing. Results are: 1) The implementation of character education carried out by families through read-aloud activities has four stages, namely: the preparation stage, the initial stage, the stage during the activity and the stage after the activity; 2) Supporting factors are: the presence of story books equipped with interesting pictures for early childhood, as well as story topics that contain character values that are appropriate to early childhood cognitive development; The inhibiting factor is the busyness of parents because of work outside the home and other family members are less supportive in terms of setting an example.

Abstract

Problems of psychology eventually faced in the Islamic education field. This fact makes student have to use counseling to solve their problem, but, actually general counseling can’t overcome this problem, therefore, the comprehension of Islamic educational counseling is based on Al-Qur’an and Sunnah. In this study, the researcher used library research as a method, in which, literature, books, and journals both national and international as a resource of data, this resource is related to the topic, especially the study of general theory as a base in developing Islamic educational counseling in Al-Qur’an and sunnah will be analysis by researcher. The result of this study found that some of the concepts of Islamic educational counseling based on Al-Qur’an and sunnah, some of the indicate of the human inner is: the first, Al-Qur’an and sunnah support us to research human psychological phenomena, the second, Al-Qur’an and sunnah was mentioned psychological potential of human, the third, Al-Qur’an and sunnah has mentioned the effects as a result of action and doing of human, the fourth, Al-Qur’an and sunnah support us to overcome the psychological problems of human with counseling process, the fifth, Al-Qur’an, and sunnah says that Allah is the only one the source of happiness.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Islamic nuanced learning with the Discovery Learning learning model on student learning outcomes in public schools, namely Bukittinggi 3 State Junior High School. This research uses quantitative methods with a Quasi-Experimental approach. The population in this study were all students in class VIII of Bukittinggi 3 State Junior High School which consisted of 6 classes with a total of 185 students. The research design in this study is a nonequivalent control group design which is divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class will be treated using the Discovery Learning learning model integrated with Islamic values, while the control class will use conventional learning. The sample in this study was chosen randomly (Simple Random Sampling) from 6 classes, so class VIII-1 was chosen as the experimental class and class VIII-2 as the control class. The average N-gain score for the experimental class was 33.7% and the N-gain score for the control class was 18.1%, which shows that the N-gain score in the experimental class was higher than the control class. This shows that the experimental class using the Discovery Learning model integrated with Islamic values has a higher N-gain score than the control class using the conventional model with a lower N-gain score. So the Discovery Learning learning model integrated with Islamic values has a significant influence on student learning outcomes. Based on this research, it can be concluded that mathematics learning integrated with Islamic values not only has a positive influence on learning outcomes in Islamic schools but also has a positive influence on learning outcomes in public schools.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about the role of Islamic boarding schools in Islamic education, the multicultural education approach at the Baituridwan Islamic boarding school, multicultural education, and the integration of religious tolerance, as well as contributions to the formation of a tolerant Islamic society. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, document content analysis, and the use of questionnaires. The results of this research show that the role of Islamic boarding schools in Islamic education, namely providing formal education in Islamic religious studies, also promotes values such as noble morals, discipline, and devotion to religion. The multicultural education approach at the Baituridwan Islamic boarding school is based on the principle of respect for cultural diversity and provides a deep understanding of the values of multiculturalism, teaching them to respect the religions that exist in society. Multicultural education and the integration of religious tolerance, namely encouraging students to respect cultural and religious differences, they are taught to respect the practices and beliefs of other religions. The contribution to the formation of a tolerant Islamic society is creating a deep understanding of the values of pluralism and tolerance, overcoming prejudice and stereotypes towards other religions.

Abstract

The public's views and interest in madrasas are still low and competition between madrasas is high, so the head of the madrasah and the administrators of Madrasah Aliyah Padang State consulted to find a way to make the madrasah attractive to many people, and made a policy by holding a superior class program called the class program. Takhashus, which started to be implemented in the 2017/2018 academic year until now, has become a special attraction for the community, causing the number of students to increase every year. This research aims to analyze whether students actually have self-concept and self-awareness in applying discipline in learning. This research uses qualitative methods. The type of research is descriptive, and data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, and document study at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Padang. The results of the analysis show that student recruitment in the implementation of the Takhasus class program has started since the registration of new students by carrying out academic tests, interview tests, verse memorization tests, and filling out permission letters from parents for students to be quarantined for 4 days at the training camp. The methods that can be used in this training are the discussion method, demonstration method, memorizing the Koran, and lecture method. The results of this research can be used as initial data for future researchers in studying this problem in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

Arabic is a subject that must be studied in Islamic High Schools in Indonesia. However, in reality there are still students who have not mastered the rules of learning Arabic, because there are several problems. This research aims to find out what problems students actually experience in learning Arabic. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach (case study design). Data sources were taken from twenty informants consisting of school principals, teachers and students through individual and group interviews. To strengthen the interview data, the author also made direct observations of teachers and students. All interview and observation data were analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model Analysis Interactive. Research findings found that there were five problems in learning to learn Arabic in high school. The five problems are: i) students' previous educational background, ii) inadequate facilities and infrastructure, iii) there is still a culture of teasing, iv) students are lazy about learning and v) the way teachers teach does not attract students' attention. The results of this research can be used as initial data for future researchers to study this problem in different contexts and problems.
