Abstract

Sebuah pembelajaran dapat dikatakan berhasil ketika peserta didik dapat mencapai tujuan yang telah ditentukan. Namun, kondisi psikologis setiap orang tentu akan berdampak pada tindakannya dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari, termasuk dalam proses pembelajaran. Self Efficacy merupakan sebuah kepercayaan diri seseorang dalam menggapai tujuan tersebut. Sedangkan Self Esteem merupakan sebuah pandangan seseorang terhadap dirinya sendiri, baik dari segi kemampuan maupun rasa berharga yang ada dalam dirinya sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas: apakah terdapat pengaruh Self Efficacy terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMA Negeri 2 Lumajang? Dan apakah terdapat pengaruh Self Esteem terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMA Negeri 2 Lumajang? Dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif-asosiatif, penelitian ini dapat mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel atau lebih. Adapun instrumen pengumpulan data adalah melalui penyebaran kuesioner (angket) dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data primer. Sedangkan objek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 2 Lumajang pada kelas X dan kelas XI. Diperoleh model regresi: . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan antara Self Efficacy dan Self Esteem secara simultan (bersama-sama) maupun secara parsial terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik SMA Negeri 2 Lumajang pada Mata pelajaran PAI. Self efficacy berkontribusi sebesar 14% dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik. Sementara Self Esteem berkontribusi sebesar 4,2% dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Meskipun demikian, dapat dipahami bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara Self Efficacy dan Self Esteem terhadap hasil belajar walau sifatnya lemah atau bernilai rendah.A learning process can be considered successful when students achieve the predetermined objectives. However, the psychological condition of each individual will certainly impact their actions in daily life, including in the learning process. Self-efficacy refers to an individual's confidence in achieving these goals, while self-esteem refers to a person's perception of themselves, both in terms of their abilities and the sense of worth they have within themselves. This study aims to examine: whether there is an influence of self-efficacy on student learning outcomes in Religious Education (PAI) at SMA Negeri 2 Lumajang? And whether there is an influence of self-esteem on student learning outcomes in Religious Education at SMA Negeri 2 Lumajang? Using a quantitative-associative method, this research can determine the relationship between two or more variables. The data collection instruments include distributing questionnaires (surveys) and documentation to obtain primary data. The research subjects are students of SMA Negeri 2 Lumajang in the 10th and 11th grades. The regression model obtained is; .  The results of the study indicate that there is a significant positive effect of both self-efficacy and self-esteem, either simultaneously (together) or partially, on student learning outcomes in Religious Education at SMA Negeri 2 Lumajang. Self-efficacy contributes 14% in influencing student learning outcomes, while self-esteem contributes 4.2%. However, it can be understood that there is a significant positive effect between self-efficacy and self-esteem on learning outcomes, even though the effect is relatively weak or of low value.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji aktualisasi teori belajar kognitif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) pada Kurikulum Merdeka secara konseptual dan implikatif. Teori-teori kognitif dari Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, dan Robert M. Gagné dianalisis untuk melihat relevansi dan penerapannya dalam desain instruksional PAI yang adaptif, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ketiga teori tersebut dapat memperkuat pembelajaran PAI yang tidak hanya bersifat informatif, tetapi juga transformatif—menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, reflektif, dan internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam secara bermakna. Dalam kerangka Kurikulum Merdeka, teori belajar kognitif berperan strategis dalam mendukung pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, berbasis proyek, serta penguatan karakter spiritual dan intelektual peserta didik. Artikel ini diharapkan menjadi kontribusi konseptual dalam pengembangan pedagogi PAI yang relevan dengan tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21. This article conceptually and implicatively explores the actualization of cognitive learning theories in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum. Cognitive theories by Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, and Robert M. Gagné are analyzed to examine their relevance and application in designing adaptive, collaborative, and contextual instructional models for PAI. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach through a literature review method. The findings indicate that integrating these theories can enhance PAI learning to be not only informative but also transformative—fostering critical thinking, reflection, and meaningful internalization of Islamic values. Within the Merdeka Curriculum framework, cognitive learning theories play a strategic role in supporting differentiated, project-based learning and in strengthening students’ spiritual and intellectual character. This article aims to contribute conceptually to the development of PAI pedagogy in response to the challenges of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Any educational level needs to share and practice religious moderation. Additionally, there have been several mishaps in this digital age that call for religious moderation and its ideals such as intolerance, radicalism, extremism, and or degrading spirituality. This study examined the most effective methods used by the religious moderation campaign educators after their initial introduction by MoRA from September 2021 up to now to encounter peace, foster nationalism, and improve students’ spirituality at one Madrasah in Malang Regency.  In-depth interviews and documentation were used in this qualitative study to gather information from the researcher's experiences. The findings indicate that: 1) encountering peace through inserting the values of religious moderation in madrasah. Such as daily activities in the madrasah, discussing current issues, or winning numerous prizes to boost students' motivation, performance, and understanding of the values of religious moderation 2) fostering nationalism faced possibilities and obstacles. 3)Additionally, improving spirituality by creating them as the Moderator Agent. Meanwhile, the digital campaign is essential to spread positive news, encounter peace, stop hoaxes and hate speech, and understand the pressing issues. The findings suggest that this campaign has a favorable influence on educators and students, such as increasing nationalism and tolerance. Setiap jenjang pendidikan perlu berbagi dan mempraktikkan moderasi beragama. Terlebih lagi, di era digital ini telah terjadi berbagai insiden yang menuntut pentingnya moderasi beragama dan nilai-nilainya, seperti intoleransi, radikalisme, ekstremisme, dan penurunan spiritualitas. Penelitian ini mengkaji metode paling efektif yang digunakan oleh para pendidik dalam kampanye moderasi beragama setelah diperkenalkan pertama kali oleh Kementerian Agama sejak September 2021 hingga sekarang, dalam rangka menciptakan kedamaian, menumbuhkan nasionalisme, dan meningkatkan spiritualitas siswa di salah satu madrasah di Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data berdasarkan pengalaman peneliti. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa: 1) menciptakan kedamaian dilakukan melalui penyisipan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di madrasah, seperti dalam kegiatan harian, diskusi isu-isu terkini, atau perolehan berbagai penghargaan guna meningkatkan motivasi, kinerja, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai moderasi beragama; 2) upaya menumbuhkan nasionalisme dihadapkan pada berbagai peluang dan tantangan; 3) peningkatan spiritualitas dilakukan dengan menjadikan siswa sebagai Agen Moderator. Sementara itu, kampanye digital sangat penting untuk menyebarkan berita positif, menciptakan kedamaian, menghentikan hoaks dan ujaran kebencian, serta memahami isu-isu aktual. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kampanye ini memberikan pengaruh positif bagi para pendidik dan siswa, seperti meningkatnya nasionalisme dan toleransi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan gamification dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan dampaknya terhadap pola pikir kreatif siswa sekolah dasar. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yang dilakukan di SD Plus Al-Qodiri. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru PAI, serta beberapa siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gamification mampu meningkatkan antusiasme, partisipasi aktif, dan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI. Penggunaan elemen permainan seperti poin, penghargaan, dan tantangan edukatif menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan kompetitif, serta mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kritis dan kolaboratif. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan implementasi meliputi dukungan institusi dan kreativitas guru dalam merancang media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan gamification sebagai strategi pedagogis inovatif yang relevan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI di jenjang pendidikan dasar. This study aims to analyze the implementation of gamification in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and its impact on the creative thinking patterns of elementary school students. A qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method was employed, conducted at SD Plus Al-Qodiri. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the school principal, IRE teacher, and several students. The findings indicate that gamification enhances students’ enthusiasm, active participation, and creativity in PAI learning. The use of game elements such as points, rewards, and educational challenges creates an engaging and competitive learning atmosphere, encouraging students to think critically and collaborate effectively. Supporting factors for successful implementation include institutional support and teachers’ creativity in designing learning media. This study recommends gamification as an innovative pedagogical strategy relevant for improving the quality of IRE learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the financial sustainability of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), which predominantly rely on student fees. To address these challenges, Al-Utsmani Islamic Boarding School in Bondowoso initiated an Islamic edupreneurship-based community service program focused on hydroponic cultivation. This initiative aimed to (1) enhance the skills of students and administrators in hydroponic farming, (2) promote pesantren economic independence, and (3) integrate digital marketing and agro-tourism strategies. Implemented using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, the program leveraged the pesantren’s existing assets, including human resources, infrastructure, and agricultural potential. As a result, students and staff who were previously unfamiliar with hydroponic systems acquired practical farming and marketing skills. The program not only fostered entrepreneurial capacity but also laid the foundation for sustainable economic development within the pesantren environment. Nevertheless, challenges such as limited funding and market access highlight the need for further institutional and governmental support. Pandemi COVID-19 telah berdampak signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan finansial pesantren yang mayoritas bergantung pada dana dari santri. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, Pondok Pesantren Al-Utsmani Bondowoso melaksanakan program pengabdian berbasis edupreneurship Islam yang berfokus pada budidaya tanaman hidroponik. Inisiatif ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan keterampilan santri dan pengelola pesantren dalam bercocok tanam secara hidroponik, (2) mendorong kemandirian ekonomi pesantren, dan (3) mengintegrasikan strategi pemasaran digital serta pengembangan kawasan agrowisata. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) yang memanfaatkan berbagai aset yang telah dimiliki pesantren, termasuk sumber daya manusia, infrastruktur, dan potensi pertanian. Hasilnya, para santri dan pengelola yang sebelumnya belum mengenal sistem hidroponik kini mampu menerapkan keterampilan bercocok tanam dan strategi pemasaran produk. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kapasitas kewirausahaan, tetapi juga menjadi fondasi pengembangan ekonomi berkelanjutan di lingkungan pesantren. Namun demikian, keterbatasan dana dan akses pasar menjadi tantangan yang perlu mendapat dukungan lebih lanjut dari lembaga dan pemerintah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan media pembelajaran digital berbasis Padlet sebagai upaya inovatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis (critical thinking) di kalangan mahasiswa. Di era digital yang menuntut penguasaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, media pembelajaran interaktif seperti Padlet menawarkan solusi untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan partisipatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan mengenai proses pengembangan, kualitas, dan efektivitas media pembelajaran digital Padlet dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa Universitas Islam KH. Achmad Muzakki Syah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran digital Padlet yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran, serta berpotensi memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Pengembangan media ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif dalam pembelajaran berbasis digital yang interaktif, kreatif, dan inovatif. This research focuses on the development of digital learning media based on Padlet as an innovative effort to improve critical thinking skills among university students. In the digital era that demands mastery of information and communication technology, interactive learning media like Padlet offers a solution to create a more engaging and participatory learning experience. The study aims to answer questions regarding the development process, quality, and effectiveness of Padlet-based digital learning media in enhancing the critical thinking abilities of students at Universitas Islam KH. Achmad Muzakki Syah. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The results show that the developed Padlet digital learning media is feasible and effective for use in learning and has the potential to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of education and students' critical thinking skills. This media development is expected to become an alternative in interactive, creative, and innovative digital-based learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran di kelas yang berdampak pada rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar siswa. Media Educandy dipilih sebagai solusi karena mampu menyampaikan materi secara lebih konkret dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media Educandy dan respon siswa terhadap penggunaannya dalam meningkatkan minat belajar fiqih kelas VIII di MTs Al-Azhar Ajung Jember tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest, instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes, observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), menandakan bahwa penggunaan media Educandy efektif meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Selain itu, rata-rata skor respon siswa sebesar 75,90 termasuk dalam kategori baik. This study is motivated by the limited use of learning media in the classroom, which affects students' interest and learning outcomes. Educandy was chosen as a solution, as it can present abstract material in a more concrete and interactive way. The objectives of this research were to examine the effectiveness of Educandy as a learning media and to assess students' responses to its use in improving the interest in learning Fiqh for eighth-grade students at MTs Al-Azhar Ajung Jember in the 2023/2024 academic year. Using a quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design, data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The Wilcoxon test results indicated a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), showing that Educandy media effectively improved students' learning interest. Additionally, the average student response score was 75.90, which falls into the "good" category.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) strategy assisted by Spinning Wheel media in improving Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes among Grade XI students at MA Nurul Islam Lumajang. Using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, the study involved 56 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a multiple-choice test and analyzed with an independent t-test. The results show a significant difference in posttest scores between the experimental and control groups (Sig. = 0.001 < 0.05; t = 3.499 > tₜₐ_bₗₑ = 2.221), indicating a positive effect of the TGT strategy combined with gamified media. The findings suggest that integrating cooperative learning with interactive tools enhances student engagement and achievement in religious education, offering a valuable pedagogical approach in the context of Islamic learning.

Abstract

This study explores the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in preventing sexual violence within educational institutions. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research draws upon interviews with educators, students, and school leaders, supported by analysis of relevant legal and religious documents. Findings indicate that IRE contributes significantly to shaping students' moral consciousness, emphasizing values such as self-respect, social boundaries, and mutual care as taught in Islamic ethics. These values are in line with Indonesia’s Law No. 12 of 2022 on the Crime of Sexual Violence (UU TPKS), highlighting IRE's potential as a legal and moral safeguard. The integration of IRE with a child-protection framework, along with teacher training and the development of context-sensitive learning materials, strengthens its preventive capacity. Moreover, effective prevention demands collaboration between schools, families, communities, and government stakeholders to ensure a safe learning environment. The study concludes that optimizing IRE’s preventive role requires a holistic educational model that is responsive to social issues, grounded in Islamic ethical teachings, and embedded in inclusive curriculum policies. This research contributes to the discourse on value-based education and offers actionable insights for educators and policymakers aiming to combat sexual violence through religious pedagogy. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran strategis Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam pencegahan kekerasan seksual di lembaga pendidikan. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini didasarkan pada wawancara dengan pendidik, peserta didik, dan pimpinan sekolah, serta analisis dokumen hukum dan keagamaan yang relevan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa PAI berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam membentuk kesadaran moral peserta didik, dengan menekankan nilai-nilai seperti penghormatan terhadap diri sendiri, batasan sosial, dan kepedulian terhadap sesama sebagaimana diajarkan dalam etika Islam. Nilai-nilai ini sejalan dengan Undang-Undang No. 12 Tahun 2022 tentang Tindak Pidana Kekerasan Seksual (UU TPKS), yang menegaskan potensi PAI sebagai perangkat perlindungan moral dan hukum. Integrasi PAI dengan kerangka perlindungan anak, pelatihan guru, serta pengembangan materi ajar yang kontekstual memperkuat kapasitas preventifnya. Lebih lanjut, pencegahan yang efektif membutuhkan kolaborasi antara sekolah, keluarga, masyarakat, dan pemerintah untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa optimalisasi peran PAI dalam pencegahan kekerasan seksual memerlukan model pendidikan yang holistik, responsif terhadap isu sosial, berlandaskan pada ajaran etika Islam, dan tertuang dalam kebijakan kurikulum yang inklusif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap diskursus pendidikan berbasis nilai dan menawarkan wawasan aplikatif bagi pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan dalam upaya menanggulangi kekerasan seksual melalui pedagogi keagamaan.

Abstract

Reward and punishment are part of the learning process, both of which are often used as alternatives to motivate learning. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with research subjects 3 English lecturers and 15 students from three different classes. Data collection was carried out by interviews. The results of the research show that the application of the reward and punishment method to increase students' English vocabulary is very enthusiastic in learning. The reward and punishment method is combined with several games and movements to motivate students to master English vocabulary. Rewards given include scores, praise, applause and handicraft prizes. Meanwhile, punishment repeats what has been learned, doesn't get a score, or doesn't even get a handicraft prize. The advantage of this method is that it fosters a sense of competitiveness and motivates students to learn optimally. Meanwhile, the disadvantage of this method is that it requires more money as a gift, sometimes it becomes a burden for students who are less active and mentally weak, and focuses on active students. Reward dan punishment menjadi bagian dari proses pembelajaran, keduanya sering dijadikan sebagai alternatif untuk memotivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dangan subjek penelitian 3 dosen bahasa Inggris dan 15 mahasiswa dari tiga kelas yang berbeda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, penerapan metode reward dan punishment terhadap peningkatan kosa kata bahasa Inggris mahasiswa sangat antusias dalam pembelajaran. Metode reward dan punishment yang dikombinasikan dengan beberapa permainan dan gerakan untuk memotivasi mahasiswa untuk menguasai kosa kata bahasa Inggris. Reward yang diberikan berupa skor, pujian, tepuk tangan, dan hadiah kerajinan tangan. Sedangkan punishment mengulang yang sudah dipelajari, tidak mendapatkan skor, atau bahkan tidak mendapatkan hadiah kerajinan tangan. Kelebihan dari metode ini adalah menumbuhkan rasa kompetitif, dan memotivasi belajar peserta didik secara maksimal. Sedangkan kekurangan dari metode ini adalah membutuhkan biaya lebih sebagai hadiah, terkadang menjadi beban bagi mahasiswa yang kurang aktif dan mental lemah, dan terfokuskan pada mahasiswa yang aktif.
