Abstract

Compost is made from organic waste such as leaves from gardens, straw, grass, and leftover vegetable and fruit originating from household and market activities (domestic waste). Compost is made from market waste, both dry and wet waste. all materials that have a high nutrient content for plants, especially the macro elements N, P, and K. The purpose of this community service is that this activity is to carry out composting activities or make compost conventionally from domestic organic waste so as to be able to create new innovations that can provide added value to society and government. The results of community service, namely conventional composting or composting activities from domestic organic waste are as follows: Material preparation, Crushing or cutting, Setting layers, adding wet ingredients, Adding additional layers, Maintenance of moisture, Turning and mixing, Monitoring and adjustment, Compost ripening and Use of compost. Compost using green waste and brown waste (food scraps, dry leaves, grass, litter, plant clippings, and other organic matter). Keywords: Compost, Organic Waste, conventional.

Abstract

The results of an initial survey conducted by the team found that the Darul Mukhlasin Palas Islamic Boarding School in Pekanbaru is for the continuation of the learning process and to meet their daily consumption needs without charging any fees. This Islamic boarding school has a large land of around ±0.5 ha which has the potential to be developed, through increasing food self-sufficiency. The strategy for realizing food self-sufficiency is the development of food diversification. This problem is needed to solve, including: providing partners with training in plant cultivation skills, processing unproductive land into productive land for crop cultivation. The method of implementation includes the provision of materials and the practice of cultivating agricultural crops, mentoring. For the sustainability of this program the PKM team will carry out: Monitoring and Evaluation of program implementation. The results of the training participants' questionnaire above show that the participants' knowledge about plant cultivation has increased, knowledge about the benefits of plant cultivation which may have been considered not so important for human life has increased their knowledge of the benefits of cultivating plants both economically and environmentally. The results of the questionnaire showed that in terms of the benefits of the activities carried out, it was shown that the results of the pre-test questionnaire showed that 100% of participants stated that the activities carried out were useful. In principle, in terms of supporting factors, related parties, both partners and participants, gave a very good response. Capacity building in the technical aspects of agriculture is one of the principles of economic empowerment, including students at Islamic boarding schools.Keywords: food security, boarding school, plant cultivation

Abstract

The increase in waste is increasing day by day, for this reason it is necessary to utilize waste, both organic and inorganic waste. The purpose of this training is to increase public knowledge about how to manage waste into something useful. The target of this community service activity is housewives. The method of implementing community service activities is in the form of lectures and demonstrations. Lecture activities in the form of explanations about waste, types of waste, waste management, and 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle). For demonstration activities, namely the management of inorganic waste into recycled creations. The implementation of this activity went well, enthusiastic participants who were excited to take part in this training. In carrying out the exercise activities the participants enthusiastically participated in it. Community service activities as a whole can be said to be good and successful, judging from the success of the target number of training participants (100%), 100% of participants present in this activity understand the material presented, and agree with the use of waste through waste recycling. Prior to the training, more than 70% of the participants did not know about waste utilization because they had never participated in waste management socialization, and could not recycle inorganic waste. Service activities can increase the knowledge of housewives about waste management into various recycling creations and empower them in managing organic and inorganic waste. Abstract

Lubuk Benteng Village is one of the villages with the main commodity of rice plants. This community service activity was carried out in Lubuk Benteng Village, Bathin III District, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) activity is to provide counseling and training to farming communities on how to make Local Microorganisms (MOL) which can then be used as liquid organic fertilizer and as decomposer bodies in composting. The method applied in this activity is in the form of direct counseling and training in making MOL. The results of the assistance show that the farmers understand the knowledge about liquid organic fertilizer made from MOL and how to make it. MOL makes it easier for farmers to use organic and inexpensive liquid fertilizers so that the use of chemical fertilizers will be reduced. Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to find out how to do muammalah correctly, which is taught by Islam and add to our insight and knowledge about muammalah in Islam. Community service for the Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Kuantan Singingi (UNIKS), provides results of community service activities that have been carried out for lecturers, staff, and students within the UNIKS environment running smoothly. Buying and selling is the exchange of goods. This has been practiced by primitive people when money has not been used as a medium of exchange for goods, namely the barter system which in Fiqh terminology is called Ba'i Al-Muqayyadah. religion, one of which is buying and selling in which there is an unclear element (gharar), something speculative, or vague. Transactions of this kind are unlawful to do, because they can harm one of the contracted parties, both the seller and the buyer. As devout Muslims there is nothing wrong for us to muammalah, but muammalah in a way that has been recommended in Islam which has taught by Rasulullah and his previous companions.Keywords: Buying and Selling, Agribusiness, Perspective, Islam

Abstract

The purpose of the activity is to hold this community service activity, to foster creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit among the younger generation, especially students, so that they can use their time for creative and productive activities through the business of fresh fruit juices. The selected student participants totaled 30 people, the stages of the activity were lectures delivering material and practice. The community service activities carried out for students of the Agribusiness Study Program went well, the participants were enthusiastic in participating in the training activities. Through this training activity, students become motivated and can make agricultural processed products, especially fruits, into fruit juice drinks whose ingredients are easily available and the manufacturing process is very easy. The results of the evaluation were 80% or 24 student participants in making fruit juice drinks were successful and did not experience difficulties and 20% or 6 student participants who were still not successful in making fruit juices, this was because the fruit had been cooked for too long and the dosage for making the drinks was not appropriate instructions from the supervisor. Abstract

Tujuan  diadakannya kegiatan PKM ini, untukmembuat  diversifikasi  ubi jalar kuning menjadi kue kaktus pada ibu-ibu rumah tangga di RT 01 Kelurahan Wawonggole Kecamatan Unaaha. Peserta  yang dipilih berjumlah 12 orang, tahapan kegiatan adalah penyuluhan dan praktek. Kegiatan PKM yang dilaksanakan  berjalan dengan baik, peserta sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan PKM. Hasil Monitoring, besarnya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta  dari  25 % atau 3 orang dari 12 orang peserta menjawab tahu sebelum kegiatan penyuluhan dan pembuatan kue kaktus  dan 75 % atau 9 orang menjawab tidak tahu sebelum kegiatan penyuluhan dan pembuatan kue kaktus  meningkat menjadi  100 %  atau 12 orang dari 12 orang peserta menjawab tahu setelah penyuluhan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan penyuluhan dapat dikatakan berhasil karena adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan dan praktek.

Abstract

Grapes are one of the prima donna plants in tropical climates, but the cultivation techniques are not widely known by the general public, especially when cultivated in the yard. Teratai Village, Muara Bulian District, has a tropical climate which is quite supportive of grape cultivation. Many people's home gardens have potential but are not utilized optimally for cultivating useful fruit plants. Because of this, we are holding community empowerment activities through the use of house yards by applying science and technology for cultivating Ninel and Academic grape varieties to the residents. The implementation of this dedication will later be very beneficial for the knowledge, creativity of residents in utilizing the yard of the house and the realization of the wine village area. The method of implementing the service is carried out by providing counseling and direct demonstrations on making planting media, making organic fertilizer specifically for grapes, cultivation techniques, and grapevine care techniques. The results of the implementation of the service are the adoption, interest, knowledge, innovation, and creativity of the residents in utilizing the yard of the house with grape cultivation techniques, and the achievement of efforts to increase the income of the residents' households. This community service activity was successful, as evidenced by the fact that dozens of residents and the Teratai Village administration who were invited were fully present at each stage of the activity, resulting in an increase in the knowledge, innovation and creativity of the residents regarding the cultivation of ninel grapes and academic grapes in their yards.

Abstract

Yayasan Alumni SMU 3 Semarang angkatan tahun duaribu bergerak di bidang sosial, pendidikan dan kesejahtr=eraan memiliki jaringan alumni yang luas dan beragam. Ini dapat memberikan akses ke sumber daya manusia yang beragam dalam berbagai bidang pengetahuan dan keahlian. Dengan bekerja sama dengan yayasan alumni, dapat memanfaatkan kekayaan pengalaman dan pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh para alumni untuk mendukung kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Namun permasalahan yang dihadapi Alfo Duaribu saat ini adalah belum adanya website untuk mendukung keberhasilan peningkatan donasi untuk mendukung operasional semua program kegiatan Alfo Duaribu. Oleh karena itu, Alfi Duaribu bekerjasama dengan tim dosen dari Universitas Dian Nuswantoro untuk membantu membuat prototipe website yang bisa memperluas pemasaran Alfo Duaribu. Metode pelaksaan kegiatan dilakukan yaitu identifikais masalah, pengumpulan data menggunakan studi literatur dan penyebaran kuesioner, Analisis perencanaan, implementasi, kesimpulan dan saran. Melelui kemitraan ini dihaislkan prototipe website Alfo Duaribu yang berisi semua campaign  dan kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan Alfo Duaribu, yang diharapkan bisa meningkatkan akuntabilitas dan informasi kepada sleuruh Alumni dan masyarakat luas, sehingga diharpakan akan bisa meningkatan jumlah donasi yang diperoleh

Abstract

Ibu-ibu Rumah Tangga di RT 01 RW 13 Kelurahan Sidomulyo Timur Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai pada umumnya kerja utama nya adalah mengerjakan pekerjaan rutin rumah tangga,  yang mempunyai waktu luang yang cukup untuk dimanfaatkan dengan kerja-kerja produktif yang dapat menghasilkan pendapatan. Tim P2M dari Fakultas Pertanian menawarkan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kewirausahaan dengan meningkatkan motivasi ibu-ibu untuk memanfaatkan waktu luang dengan kerja produktif, yaitu membuat pelatihan pembuatan minuman segar bergizi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan cairan tubuh, berkaitan dengan cuaca yang panas akhir-akhir ini Pekanbaru. Pelatihan ini diberikan karena bahan baku yang mudah diperoleh dan dikerjakan. Target luaran yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan motivas kelompok Mitra; artikel ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan adalah dengan cara: penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan evaluasi.  Kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dan motivasi ibu-ibu rumah tangga tentang memanfaatkan waktu luang dengan kegiatan produktif.  Kegiatan produktif yang dilakukan pada saat pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah membuat minuman segar bergizi yang berpeluang untuk dijadikan usaha menambah pendapatan keluarga
