Abstract

Students' understanding of the obligatory attributes of Allah in learning aqidah is an important aspect of Islamic education, especially at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) level. The obligatory attributes of Allah are part of the basic study of aqidah and serve as a guideline in understanding the attributes of Allah SWT. However, in practice, many students have difficulty understanding this concept in depth. This difficulty can be caused by less interactive learning methods and lack of student involvement in the learning process. This study aims to improve the understanding of grade VII MTs students of the obligatory attributes of Allah through the application of innovative and effective learning methods. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) with qualitative and quantitative. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, evaluation tests, and student questionnaires. The results of the study show that the application of interactive learning strategies, such as group discussions, the use of audiovisual media, and contextual approaches, can significantly improve students' understanding. This can be seen from the results of learning evaluations that are better than before and the positive responses from students to the learning methods applied. In addition, this learning strategy also increases students' motivation and active participation in the learning process, so that they can easily understand and remember the obligatory attributes of Allah. Thus, this study confirms that innovative learning methods have a positive impact on students' understanding and involvement in the process of learning the creed.

Abstract

Ethics and moral education plays an important role in shaping students' character, especially in facing increasingly complex social challenges. This study discusses the application of the Ethics-Based Learning method in developing the values ​​of honesty, patience, and caring in class X students of SMK Swasta Islam Proyek UISU Siantar. The main focus of this study is the material on avoiding free association and adultery as an effort to protect human dignity. The Ethics-Based Learning method is applied through an interactive learning approach, case discussions, moral reflection, and integration of religious and social values. The results of the study indicate that this method is effective in improving students' understanding and moral awareness, encouraging them to apply ethical principles in everyday life. Thus, the Ethics-Based Learning method can be a relevant strategy in character education, especially in forming a responsible attitude and upholding moral values ​​in social interactions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Card Sort method in improving student learning achievement in the subject of Akidah Akhlak, especially the material Knowing the Attributes of Allah in CLASS 10 MA Modern Skill Al Azkaa Gresik. The Card Sort method is an active learning technique that involves students in grouping cards containing certain concepts or information, so that it can improve their understanding and memory of the material being taught. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 30 students who were selected purposively. Data were collected through learning outcome tests before and after the application of the Card Sort method, as well as observations and interviews to support quantitative results. Data analysis was carried out using statistical tests using the t-test to determine significant differences in learning achievement before and after the method was applied. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after applying the Card Sort method. In addition, students showed increased involvement in learning, better understanding of concepts, and higher motivation in learning Akidah Akhlak. Thus, the Card Sort method can be an alternative effective learning strategy to improve students' learning achievement, especially in understanding abstract concepts such as the attributes of Allah.

Abstract

This article examines the implementation of Akidah Akhlak learning as a method of character education for students at MTs Nurul Hikmah Pasarkemis. The focus of this study is to identify how Akidah Akhlak learning can shape students' character in interactions with parents, teachers, and friends. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involves data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that Akidah Akhlak learning has a positive impact on the formation of students' moral attitudes, such as mutual respect, discipline, and a sense of responsibility towards parents, teachers, and friends. In addition, the implementation of Akidah Akhlak also plays an important role in creating a harmonious school environment and supporting students' personal development. This learning motivates students to care more about the values ​​of goodness taught in religion and strengthens positive social interactions between students and their surroundings. Therefore, this study recommends that Akidah Akhlak learning be strengthened and prioritized in the education curriculum in schools, as an integral part of efforts to build students' character and morality continuously.

Abstract

Based on the results of initial observations at SMP Negeri 3 Kualuh Selatan in class VIII-4, it shows that the learning process is still less effective. There is no two-way interaction between teachers and students. Likewise, the media used in learning are only blackboards and books. One effort that can be used to improve student activity and learning outcomes is through the use of interesting learning models, one of which is the two stay two stray model. The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the activity of teachers in using the two stay two stray model in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education for class VIII-4 students on the material of Faith in the Prophet and Messenger of Allah at SMP Negeri 3 Kualuh Selatan. (2) To determine the learning outcomes of class VIII-4 students on the material of Faith in the Prophet and Messenger of Allah at SMP Negeri 3 Kualuh Selatan after the learning process. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were class VIII-4 students of SMP Negeri 3 Kualuh Selatan. The data collection procedure was through observation of teacher, student and test activities. Data analysis techniques, using the percentage of predetermined success criteria. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) In cycle I, the percentage value of teacher activity was 80.35%, in cycle II it increased to 89.28% (2). Student learning outcomes in cycle I, the percentage value obtained was 60% and in cycle II it increased to 80 students who had completed individually and classically. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the two stay two stray learning model can improve student learning outcomes on the material of Faith in the Prophet and Messenger of Allah in class VIII-4 of SMP Negeri 3 Kualuh Selatan.

Abstract

Understanding the concept of length measurement is one of the basic competencies in learning mathematics in elementary schools. However, many students still have difficulty in understanding this concept, especially in connecting it to everyday life. This study aims to analyze the application of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) approach in improving the understanding of the concept of length measurement of grade 4 students of MIN 14 Nagan Raya. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two learning cycles. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and interviews to determine the development of students' understanding before and after the application of CPS. The results of the study showed that the application of the CPS approach can significantly improve students' understanding. Students become more active in thinking critically and creatively in solving problems of length measurement. In addition, this strategy encourages them to be more involved in discussions and exploration of concepts, thereby increasing their motivation and interest in learning. From the results of data analysis, there was an increase in the average value of students' understanding from the first cycle to the second cycle. Thus, the CPS approach can be used as an effective alternative learning strategy in improving the understanding of the concept of length measurement for elementary school students.

Abstract

Learning motivation is an important factor in improving student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze efforts to improve student learning motivation in Social Sciences (IPS) learning with Community Economic Activities material through lecture and question and answer methods for 5th grade students of MIS Hidayatusshalihin NW Lanji. The lecture method is used to convey basic concepts systematically, while the question and answer method is applied to improve student interaction and understanding of the material. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interview, and questionnaire techniques as data collection instruments. The results of the study indicate that the application of the lecture method accompanied by interactive questions and answers can increase student involvement in learning, strengthen conceptual understanding, and encourage students to be more active in asking and answering questions. In addition, the existence of positive rewards and feedback from teachers contributes to increasing student learning motivation. Thus, the lecture and question and answer method can be an effective strategy in increasing student learning motivation in IPS learning, especially in understanding community economic activities

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) cooperative learning model in improving student learning outcomes on compulsory fasting material at SDS No.101820 Bina Karya. TGT is a learning model that will provide new experiences in learning so that they can understand the material more easily. In this study, the method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests and interviews to assess the development of students' understanding of compulsory fasting material before and after the implementation of TGT. The support provided by teachers in implementing TGT can also increase student activity in learning and understanding the material taught with methods that can attract students' interest in learning so that it can improve student learning outcomes on compulsory fasting material in class VI.

Abstract

This study aims to improve children's cognitive abilities in conveying addition results through the use of natural materials as learning media at RA Darussalam Wedelan Bangsri. Cognitive skills, particularly in understanding addition concepts, are crucial for early childhood development. This research employs a classroom action research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles, involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study are Group A children at RA Darussalam. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results indicate that utilizing natural materials, such as stones, leaves, and seeds, enhances children's comprehension of addition concepts and their ability to verbally express their calculations. This improvement is evident from the children's active participation in learning activities and the increased evaluation scores in each cycle. Therefore, the use of natural materials has been proven effective in enhancing children's cognitive abilities in basic mathematics learning at RA Darussalam Wedelan Bangsri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using interactive learning media in improving the learning interest of 3rd grade students of SD Negeri 0406 Aek Tinga, Sosa District on ablution worship material. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach consisting of two cycles, with each cycle involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 30 3rd grade students consisting of 15 boys and 15 girls. Data collection was carried out through observation, questionnaires, and written tests related to students' learning interest and understanding of ablution material. The results of the study indicate that the use of interactive learning media, such as video tutorials and technology-based learning applications, can improve students' learning interest. In the first cycle, the average value of students' learning interest reached 70%, and after the use of interactive media in the second cycle, the value increased to 85%. In addition, students also showed an increase in understanding of ablution procedures, which was reflected in better test results. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of interactive learning media is effective in increasing students' learning interest in ablution worship material at SD Negeri 0406 Aek Tinga, Sosa District.
