Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the discussion method in improving learning outcomes of the material on the behavior of people who practice Asma'ul Husna of students at MTs Miftahul Khoirot Cilamaya Kulon, Karawang. The discussion method was chosen because it can encourage students to be more active in critical thinking, communicating, and understanding the values ​​of Asma'ul Husna in more depth through interactions between students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The research sample consisted of grade VIII students who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group using the discussion method and the control group using the lecture method. The results of the study showed that the application of the discussion method had a positive effect on improving students' understanding of the material being taught. Learning outcome data showed a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group, where the experimental group experienced a better increase in understanding. Thus, the discussion method has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially in understanding and applying the values ​​of Asma'ul Husna in everyday life. These findings indicate that the discussion method can be used as an alternative learning strategy that is more interactive and can increase student involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Flash Card dalam meningkatkan hasil beajar siswa pada materi Aku Tahu Huruf Hijaiyah di SD Negeri 0201 Binanga. Flash Card merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran berupa kartu kecil yang berisi gambar, teks, atau tanda simbol yang mengingatkan atau menuntun siswa kepada sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan gambar itu Dalam konteks pembelajaran materi Aku Tahu Huruf Hijaiyah di sekolah dasar, menggunakan media flash card akan lebih mudah melatih anak-anak untuk mengenal huruf hijaiyah, membaca huruf hijaiyah, dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membedakan masing-masing huruf hijaiyah pada siswa sehingga siswa dapat belajar secara bertahap dan lebih efektif. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan wawancara untuk menilai perkembangan pemahaman siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media pembelajaran Flash Card.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Flash Card dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Aku Tahu Huruf Hijaiyah terbukti memiliki dampak positif yang siginifikan. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Flash Card secara berkelanjutan dinilai dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, khususnya dalam materi yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan mengingat siswa. Oleh karena itu, metode ini dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of implementing interfaith dialogue in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) to improve attitudes of religious tolerance and build social harmony in SMA Negeri 1 Barumun. This research was conducted in two cycles, with data collection through pre-test and post-test, observation, interviews, and reflection journals. The results showed that the implementation of interfaith dialogue significantly improved students' understanding of religious tolerance. This initiative also encouraged increased empathy and respect for peers from different religious backgrounds, as students engaged in meaningful and respectful discussions. The role of the teacher as a facilitator is very important in creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for dialogue, so that discussions can be productive and inclusive. In addition, the use of reflection journals helped students to internalize their experiences and encouraged self-reflection. These findings suggest that interfaith dialogue in religious education has an important role in creating a more inclusive and harmonious school environment. This approach has proven to be an effective strategy in promoting religious tolerance and mutual respect within a diverse community. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating inter-religious dialogue into educational programs to foster tolerance and understanding in society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the scaffolding method in improving student learning outcomes on the material of respecting parents at MTs. IBNU ZAIN Purwakarta. Scaffolding is a learning strategy that provides gradual guidance to students until they can understand the material independently. In this study, the method used was classroom action research (CAR) with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and interviews to assess the development of student understanding before and after the implementation of scaffolding. The results showed that the scaffolding method contributed positively to improving students' understanding of the material of respecting parents. The support provided by the teacher, such as guiding questions, concrete examples, and group discussions, helped students build better understanding. In addition, students became more active in the learning process and were able to internalize the moral values ​​taught. In conclusion, the implementation of the scaffolding method systematically and continuously can improve student learning outcomes, especially in material related to moral values. Therefore, this method can be an effective learning alternative at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method in improving learning outcomes on the material of Goodness Teachings in Islam and Non-Islam at SDN 091257 Gunung Hataran, Siantar District, Simalungun Regency. The PBL method was chosen because it emphasizes solving real problems, so that it can improve conceptual understanding and active involvement of students in the learning process. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest design to measure the improvement of student learning outcomes. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews with teachers and students to obtain a more comprehensive picture. The results showed that the application of the PBL method significantly improved students' understanding of the material being taught. In addition, this method also contributed to improving critical thinking skills, problem solving, and students' ability to connect the concept of goodness teachings with everyday life. Teachers also felt the benefits of this method because it was able to increase student interaction and participation during the learning process. Thus, the Problem-Based Learning method is recommended as an effective learning strategy in improving student learning outcomes, especially in religious and moral education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of weaving activities on improving fine motor skills in children at RA Insan Mulia. This study used a classroom action research approach with two cycles, where each cycle consisted of four weeks. The subjects of this study were kindergarten students at RA Insan Mulia. Data were collected through direct observation, initial and final tests of fine motor skills, and feedback from parents. The results of the study showed that weaving activities had a positive impact on the development of students' fine motor skills. Before this activity began, many students had difficulty in performing tasks that required hand-eye coordination, such as drawing and cutting. However, after participating in weaving activities regularly, students showed significant improvements in their motor skills, especially in terms of hand-eye coordination, grip strength, and finger skills. In addition, weaving activities also improved students' concentration, social skills, and self-confidence. Weaving activities involving various materials, such as paper, yarn, and cloth, have been shown to be effective in improving fine motor skills because they provide students with the opportunity to practice controlling objects with various textures and thicknesses. The repetitive weaving process also helps students strengthen their hand muscles and improve their accuracy and attention to detail. Although most students showed significant progress, some students still needed additional support to master the weaving technique well. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of an individualized learning approach that is responsive to the needs of each student. Overall, the results of this study indicate that weaving activities are an effective method for improving fine motor skills in early childhood, and can support their cognitive, social, and emotional development. This activity can be used as an alternative in the early childhood education curriculum to optimize motor development and other aspects.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education learning aims to shape the character of students to have a tolerant, peaceful attitude, and be able to forgive each other in everyday life. However, in practice, students' understanding of the material Living in Peace and Forgiving Each Other still often experiences obstacles, both in terms of concept and its application in social life. This study aims to improve students' understanding by implementing a scaffolding strategy, a learning approach that provides gradual guidance according to students' needs until they are able to understand the concept independently. The research method used is classroom action with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed that the application of scaffolding can improve students' understanding of the concept of living in peace and forgiving each other. Students become more active in discussions, understand the material more easily, and are able to relate the concepts learned to everyday life. Thus, the use of scaffolding as a learning strategy can be an effective alternative in improving students' understanding of moral and social values ​​in Islamic Religious Education. The research method used is classroom action with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed that the application of scaffolding can improve students' understanding of the concept of living in peace and forgiving each other. Students become more enthusiastic about learning, understand the material more easily, and are able to connect the values ​​they learn with their personal experiences.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve cognitive abilities through puzzle playing activities in group B at RA Kahdijah Aisyah, Jakarta, 2021. The research was carried out from 1-12 November 2021 in the 2021/2022 academic year in semester I. The subjects of the study were 8 children in group B consisting of 5 boys and 3 girls. The study was carried out for 2 cycles with the following stages: implementing, doing, acting, observing and reflecting, during the activities the researcher took the theme of fruit plants and insects. The results of the study showed the following advantages: media or materials can use materials from used goods, used children's magazines. Providing stimulus in problem solving, training eye and hand coordination, introducing the concept of shape, size and color, training children's reasoning. While the weakness is the lack of attention to the level of difficulty in assembling puzzles which must be adjusted to the child's age group. From observations made by researchers at the end of cycle II, it was found that there was an increase in children's cognitive abilities in playing puzzles. This can be seen from the percentage at the beginning of the cycle experiencing an increase, in the category not yet developing from 25% to 0% there are no more children in that category, the category starting to develop experienced an increase from 62.5% changing to 25% in this category children have experienced a reduction and changed to the category developing according to expectations from 12.5% ​​to 37.5% experiencing an increase, in the category developing very well which initially there were no children in this category in cycle II there was an increase from 0% to 37.5%. The conclusion of this study is that through puzzle playing activities can improve the cognitive abilities of children in group B at RA Khadijah Aisyah.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of class VII-1 students in the Islamic Religious Education and Character Education Subject, especially the Asmaul Husna material, through the use of the Wordwall application at SMP Negeri 1 Sosa Timur, Padang Lawas Regency. The Wordwall application was chosen because it can present interactive and interesting learning, so it is expected to increase student motivation and understanding. This study uses a classroom action research (CAR) method with two cycles including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were obtained through student learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after using the Wordwall application. This is reflected in the increase in the average score of student learning outcome tests and the increase in active student participation in the learning process. In addition, students gave a positive response to the use of this application, which was considered fun and made it easier for them to understand the material. Thus, it can be concluded that the Wordwall application is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the Asmaul Husna material at SMP Negeri 1 Sosa Timur, Padang Lawas Regency, and can be an alternative interesting and innovative learning method.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Card Sort method in improving learning of Akidah Akhlak, especially on the material of Kalimat Tayyibah Ta'awudz, through the demonstration method on grade 2 students of MIS Nurul Iman. The background of this study is the low understanding of students on the material of Kalimat Tayyibah Ta'awudz due to less interactive learning methods. The Card Sort method is applied to increase student involvement in learning and help them understand and memorize the material more effectively. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The subjects of the study were grade 2 students of MIS Nurul Iman. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively by comparing the results before and after the application of the Card Sort method. The results showed that the Card Sort method was able to significantly improve students' understanding of the material of Kalimat Tayyibah Ta'awudz. Students were more active and enthusiastic in learning, and showed an increase in learning outcomes. In addition, this method also helps teachers in creating a more interesting and effective learning atmosphere. The obstacles found in the implementation of this method can be overcome with careful planning and intensive guidance to students. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in student engagement and their learning outcomes after the implementation of this method. Thus, the Card Sort method has proven effective in improving the learning of Akidah Akhlak on the material of Kalimat Tayyibah Ta'awudz. It is recommended for educators to adopt this method as an alternative learning strategy that is more interactive and innovative. The implementation of this method can also be combined with other learning strategies to improve the effectiveness of teaching.
