Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the scaffolding method in improving learning outcomes on the material "Respecting and Appreciating Other People's Beliefs in the School Environment" at SD Negeri 095253 Talun Madear. The scaffolding method is a learning strategy that provides gradual guidance to students until they are able to achieve understanding and independence in learning. This approach is considered effective in building an attitude of tolerance and improving students' understanding of the importance of mutual respect in social life at school. This study uses a quantitative method with a classroom action research (CAR) design. Data were obtained through observation, learning outcome tests, and interviews with students and teachers. The results showed that the gradual implementation of the scaffolding method was able to improve students' understanding of the material being taught. This can be seen from the increase in students' average scores in each learning cycle, as well as a change in attitudes that are more positive in appreciating differences in beliefs in the school environment. In addition, students become more active in discussions and more confident in expressing their opinions regarding the values ​​of tolerance. Thus, it can be concluded that the scaffolding method is an effective strategy in improving student learning outcomes, especially in learning that emphasizes social aspects and values ​​of togetherness. The application of this method is recommended for teachers to create a more interactive and meaningful learning atmosphere for students

Abstract

Learning about the signs of puberty plays an important role in equipping students with an understanding of the physical and psychological changes that occur during puberty. However, there are still obstacles in students' understanding due to the lack of the right approach in delivering the material. This study aims to apply the scaffolding method to improve students' learning outcomes in understanding the signs of puberty. The scaffolding method is applied through several stages, namely modeling (giving examples), bridging (bridging initial knowledge), contextualizing (connecting with everyday life), questioning (guiding with questions), scaffolding feedback (providing gradual feedback), independent practice (independent practice), and reflection & review (reflection and reinforcement). The application of this method allows students to gain a deeper understanding gradually, with assistance provided as needed until they can learn independently. The results of the study showed that the scaffolding approach was able to increase student involvement in the learning process, clarify the concepts taught, and significantly improve their learning outcomes. Thus, the scaffolding method can be an effective strategy in teaching the material on the signs of puberty and can be adapted in learning other materials.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the Pop Up method in learning Indonesian language on illustration material at MI Tarbiyatul Hidayah Boteng Menganti Gresik. The Pop Up method was chosen because it can create a more interesting and interactive learning atmosphere for students, and make it easier for them to understand the concept of illustration. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to observe the implementation of learning, and analyze the results achieved by students after the application of the method. In its implementation, the Pop Up method allows students to draw illustrations based on the story text given, and fosters their creativity and imagination in interpreting stories through pictures. The results of the study showed that the application of the Pop Up method can increase students' interest and involvement in learning Indonesian. Students are more enthusiastic and active in drawing illustrations, and are able to connect images with the contents of the text in more depth. In addition, students can also understand the message contained in the story better through drawing activities. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Pop Up method is effective in improving students' understanding of illustration material, and can be used as an alternative in developing creative and enjoyable learning at MI Tarbiyatul Hidayah Boteng Menganti Gresik

Abstract

This study aims to improve the understanding of fourth grade students of SDN 102092 Sibulan, Tebing Syahbandar District, Serdang Bedagai Regency about ablution practices through demonstration methods. The problem faced is the lack of students' understanding of the correct sequence and procedures for ablution. Based on the results of initial observations, most students only know the theory of ablution without being able to practice it properly. This causes many students to make mistakes when performing ablution, such as not washing body parts in sequence or not paying attention to the pillars of ablution properly. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and practical assessments. Observation sheets were used to record student activities during learning, while interviews were used to determine students' understanding before and after learning. In addition to increasing understanding, the demonstration method also had a positive effect on students' attitudes in maintaining cleanliness and discipline. Students were more active, confident, and enthusiastic in practicing ablution because they gained direct experience. Teachers provided individual guidance to students who were still experiencing difficulties, so that each student got optimal learning opportunities. The interaction between teachers and students became more intensive, making learning more meaningful and effective. Thus, the demonstration method has proven to be effective in increasing students' understanding of ablution practices and forming positive habits in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the scaffolding method in improving learning outcomes of zakat material for grade VI students of SD 091265 Dolok Malela. The scaffolding method is a learning strategy that provides gradual support to students according to their needs until they are able to understand and master the material independently. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method, involving two groups of students: an experimental group that is given learning using the scaffolding method and a control group that uses conventional methods. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests before and after treatment and observations during the learning process. Data analysis showed that students in the experimental group experienced a more significant increase in understanding compared to the control group. The results of this study confirm that the application of the scaffolding method can help students understand the concept of zakat better, increase their involvement in the learning process, and motivate them to be more active in exploring the material. Thus, the scaffolding method has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes and can be used as an alternative to a more interactive learning strategy in elementary schools, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The recommendation from this study is for teachers to apply the scaffolding method more widely in learning to improve the quality of student understanding and provide support that is appropriate to their level of cognitive development

Abstract

The development of technology and social media has a major influence on student behavior in interacting in the digital world. Ease of access to information is often not balanced with a good understanding of ethics, resulting in various problems, such as the spread of hoaxes, hate speech, and online bullying. Therefore, the role of Akidah Akhlak teachers is very important in guiding students to use social media in accordance with Islamic teachings. This study aims to analyze the role of Akidah Akhlak teachers in improving social media morals at MTsS Plus Al-Amin Lembang. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that Akidah Akhlak teachers play a role in instilling Islamic values ​​through character education, ethical habits in the use of social media, and providing role models in attitudes and behavior. Teachers apply lecture methods, discussions, and personal guidance as the main strategies in improving students' understanding of social media ethics. With guidance from Akidah Akhlak teachers, students are expected to be able to use social media more wisely, responsibly, and make it a useful tool in accordance with Islamic principles

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using interactive media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning on students' learning interest at SMP Negeri 2 Sipispis. The background of this study is based on the low interest in learning of students as reflected in the lack of active participation and enthusiasm in participating in PAI learning. The use of interactive media is expected to be a solution to overcome this challenge and create a more interesting learning atmosphere. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental approach. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews to measure the level of students' learning interest before and after the use of interactive media. The research sample involved grade VIII students who were selected randomly. Data analysis was carried out using statistical tests to see significant differences between conditions before and after the intervention. The results showed that the use of interactive media, such as learning videos, online quizzes, and material simulations, significantly increased students' learning interest. This increase can be seen from the increasing activity of students in discussions, increasing curiosity, and the ease of students in understanding teaching materials. These findings indicate that the integration of technology in PAI learning can strengthen students' intrinsic motivation and support a more meaningful learning process. Therefore, it is recommended for teachers to continue to develop technology-based learning innovations in order to create a conducive learning environment that is in accordance with the characteristics of the current digital generation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the method of giving learning assignments and recitations in improving the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in students at SD Negeri 100609 Hurase. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a cycle approach consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 30 fifth grade students consisting of 15 male students and 15 female students. The results showed that the implementation of the method of giving learning assignments and recitations had a significant impact on improving PAI learning outcomes. The average score of students in the pre-test was 60%, while in the post-test after the second cycle it increased to 85%. In addition, there was a significant increase in student participation and involvement during the learning process. Initially, many students were passive, but after this method was implemented, almost all students actively participated in group discussions, completing assignments, and doing recitations. Improvement in recitation skills is also clearly visible, where students who were initially hesitant in reading the verses of the Qur'an and Hadith become more confident and fluent in doing so. In addition, students are also better able to apply Islamic moral values ​​in everyday life situations. Based on student feedback and teacher reflection, it can be concluded that this method has succeeded in creating a more interactive and collaborative learning environment. This study concludes that the method of giving learning assignments and recitation is effective in improving Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes, recitation skills, student participation, and students' ability to apply Islamic moral values. Therefore, it is recommended that this method be applied more widely in Islamic Religious Education learning to improve the quality of learning and moral development of students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' understanding of the material on Commendable Morals, which includes husnuzzan (having good thoughts), tawadhu' (humble), tasamuh (tolerance), and ta'awun (helping each other), through the application of the Learning Together (LT) learning model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with subjects of class VIII students of MTs An Najah Petaling, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This study involved teachers and students as the main data sources. Data collection techniques were carried out through two approaches, namely tests and non-tests. The test approach was used to measure students' understanding before and after the application of the LT learning model, while non-test techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain supporting data related to the learning process. The results of the study are expected to show the effectiveness of the LT learning model in improving students' understanding of the material on Commendable Morals. Thus, this study contributes to the development of more interactive and collaborative learning methods in the Akidah Akhlak subject. In addition, the results of this study can be a reference for educators in implementing learning strategies that can improve students' understanding of commendable moral values ​​more effectively and comprehensively..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the Crossword Puzzle method in improving students' understanding of the material on the story of the prophet in the lesson of Akidah Akhlak in class 4 MIS As Syarifiyah in the 2024/2025 academic year. The Crossword Puzzle method was chosen because it can provide a more enjoyable learning experience, increase student involvement, and help strengthen their memory of the material being studied. This study uses a classroom action research (CAR) method consisting of several cycles, including the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 11 students of class 4 MIS As Syarifiyah. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and material understanding tests before and after the application of this method. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the material on the story of the prophet after the application of the Crossword Puzzle method. This is evidenced by the increase in the comprehension test scores from each cycle carried out. In addition, students become more active, motivated, and enthusiastic in the learning process. Thus, the Crossword Puzzle method can be used as an innovative and effective learning strategy in improving students' understanding of the material on Akidah Akhlak.
