Abstract

Education is an important aspect for instilling moral values in students, one of which is through history lessons. History lessons play a strategic role in instilling moral values in students through historical traces. Historical traces contain stories that contain important values to be taught to students, one of which is Jajaghu Temple. Jajaghu Temple or Jago Temple is a temple site left behind by the 13th-century Singhasari Kingdom, which has narrative reliefs rich in religious and mythological stories. The purpose of this study is to analyse the stories in the reliefs of Jajaghu Temple to identify moral values that can be instilled in students. This study uses a historical method consisting of five stages, namely topic selection, heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the discussion show that Jajaghu Temple is a historical relic from the Hindu-Buddhist Kingdom era, which remains a source of history to this day. It is evident that Jajaghu Temple preserves important stories through its reliefs, namely the story of the crane and the turtle, the story of Ari Dharma, the story of Kunjarakarna (heaven and hell), the story of Partayatna, the story of Arjunawiwaha, and the story of Kresnayana. The story has the potential to instil moral values in students, enriching their character education as part of their cultural and moral heritage and preparing them to face the challenges of the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning Berbasis Nilai-Nilai Kebudayaan Larung Sesaji untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Sejarah Siswa pada kelas X. Pengembangan model pembelajaran ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Dick and Carey (1996) yang dipilih untuk menghasilkan produk sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Penggunaan sejarah lokal digunakan sebagai bahan ajar yang dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran sejarah dan bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah siswa. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode quasi-eksperimental dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design dengan angket sebagai media pengumpulan data untuk mengukur perubahan kesadaran sejarah siswa setelah implementasi produk yang dikembangkan. Siswa yang dipilih sebagai subjek penelitian adalah kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Jember. Penelitian dilakukan pada 6 kelas yang terbagi menjadi kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji N-Gain dan Uji Eta Squared. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Discovery Learning dalam modul ajar sejarah lokal mampu meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah siswa di kelas X. Produk yang dikembangkan mendapat respon positif dari siswa dan guru sebagai perangkat pembelajaran inovatif yang menarik minat belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan model Discovery Learning Berbasis Nilai-Nilai Budaya Larung Sesaji diharapkan mampu menjadi solusi alternatif dan inovatif dalam pembelajaran sejarah.

Abstract

Jamasan Tombak Kyai Manggolo Murti dan Songsong Makutha Dewa dilaksanakan di perbukitan Suroloyo. Tradisi ini mengandung banyak aspek yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah seperti: identitas kubudayaan dan hubungan simbolik masyarakat dengan leluhur. Oleh karena itu urgensi dari penelitian ini adalah upaya mengungkap nilai-nilai yang pada jamasan Tombak Kyai Manggolo Murti dan Songsong Makutha Dewa sebagai sumber pembelajaran sejarah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi upacara jamasan Tombak Kyai Manggolo Murti dan Songsong Makutha Dewa di Perbukitan Suroloyo sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah, serta menjelaskan strategi pemanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Pertanyaan penelitian: bagaimana memanfaatkan kegiatan upacara jamasan Tombak Kyai Manggolo Murti dan Songsong Makutha Dewa di Perbukitan Suroloyo sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah dan mengaplikasikannya dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan wawancara, observasi lapangan dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya, Prosesi jamasan menampilkan ritual penyucian pusaka. Prosesi jamasan memiliki nilai royong, penghormatan terhadap leluhur, serta kesadaran identitas budaya. Dengan strategi yang tepat, tradisi jamasan pusaka di perbukitan suroloyo dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran sejarah dan Proyek Penguatan Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Salah satu strategi pemanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran sejarah adalah penggunaan metode studi kasus. Melalui penerapan metode studi kasus, siswa dapat menganalisis makna historis, sosial, dan budaya dari upacara jamasan di perbukitan suroloyo. Siswa juga dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kolaboratif, dan reflektif. Dengan demikian, dalam konteks pembelajaran sejarah upacara jamasan pusaka di Suroloyo berfungsi sebagai media pembelajaran yang menanamkan nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila serta memperkuat kesadaran sejarah peserta didik.

Abstract

Masyarakat Pulau Bali dikenal secara mayoritas penganut Agama Hindu, namun Agama Hindu ini melebur dengan kepercayaan animisme. Konsep pura kawitan merupakan hasil dari peleburan tersebut, dimana masyarakat memuja dewa dalam konsep Agama Hindu sekaligus nenek moyang mereka. Salah satu pura kawitan yang menarik untuk dikaji adalah Pura Kawitan Arya Wang Bang Pinatih Tebesaya karena terdapat arca unik yang tidak sesuai dengan pakem leluhur dari pemilik pura kawitan ini. Arca tersebut adalah arca perwujudan yang terdapat di depan pintu masuk pura. Kedua arca ini memiliki atribut masing-masing yang dapat digunakan sebagai data analisis. Tepatnya dalam kajian ini menerapkan analisis morfologi sehingga kajian ini akan menitikberatkan kepada bentuk dari beberapa atribut yang melekat di kedua arca tersebut. Diluar itu, analisis kontekstual terhadap data lain juga akan melengkapi data analisis dan dasar interpretasi di dalam kajian ini. Melalui kedua analisis ini dapat diketahui bahwa kedua arca ini bukan sosok sembarangan sehingga dapat menimbulkan analisis lanjutan terkait kenapa kedua arca ini diletakan di pura ini dan sedikit memberikan jalan untuk melihat lebih jauh terkait sejarah sosial-politik di wilayah ini yang berhubungan langsung dengan leluhur dari pemilik pura.

Abstract

The Bali Bombing I in 2002 was one of the events caused by terrorists in Indonesia. Terror acts carried out in the Bali region with bombings killed 202 people. The incident occurred when the Indonesian government did not yet have laws and regulations governing the handling of explosions. The Bali Bombing I had a wide impact on the world of Bali tourism. The explosion destroyed the Paddy's Pub cafe, Sari Club and the United States Consulate. More than 519people were recorded, consisting of 202 people died and 317 people were outpatient. Abstract

Achyat Chalimy is a student of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari who founded Laskar Hizbullah Mojokerto in 1945 to defend Indonesia's independence. The formation of Laskar Hizbullah was recognized by Japan on December 15, 1944. Laskar Heizbullah was a semi-military force consisting of Muslim youths and students who fought to defend Indonesia's independence against allied forces. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of Achyat Chalimy and Laskar Hizbullah in the Revolution of Independence in 1945-1950. This research uses historical research methods and social psychology approaches. The results of this study indicate that Achyat Chalimy and Laskar Hezbollah during the Independence Revolution played a role in the battle in Surabaya in 1945, the guerrilla battle in Mojokerto in 1945-1947, and the battle in Kutorejo in 1948-1949. The end of Achyat Chalimy's role with Laskar Hizbullah in 1950 was marked by the transfer of sovereignty from the Netherlands to Indonesia. Abstract

This article examines the life of Ex-Tapol in South Blitar and the survival efforts amid the new order government's discriminatory regulations against Ex-Tapol. The Study is discusses (1) what are the supervisions carried out by local governments that affect the social life – Economy of Ex-Tapol, (2) how the dynamics of the social - economic life of Ex Tapol in South Blitar 1968 - 2000. The method used in this study is a historical research method. The method used in this study is a historical research method. Use document sources, interviews, and supporting secondary sources. The results of this study are: Local government supervision of Ex-Tapol including the mandatory reporting policy, disenfranchisement of civil rights and political rights, and provision of a special code (ET) on the ID cards of ex-tapols. Many former Tapol in South Blitar worked as a farmer. The existence of a regulation that Ex-Tapol and his descendants are prohibited from having certain jobs and are prohibited from being civil servants makes Ex-Tapol in South Blitar have no other choice, but to become a farmer. The income as a farmer is uncertain, making some ex-Tapol in South Blitar increase their income by raising livestock such as cows, goats, and chickens. The interaction of Ex-Tapol with the surrounding community is partly closed because of the stigma that the Ex Tapol PKI which is an enemy of the state made some people in South Blitar choose to stay away from Ex Tapol and are reluctant to have a relationship with Ex Tapol. Abstract

This article discusses the Lengger art in Prapah Hamlet, Panti Village, Panting District, Jember Regency. This study discusses (1) How is the background of the formation of Lengger art in Prapah Hamlet, Panti Village, Panti District, Jember Regency. (2) What is the function of Lengger art on social values ​​in Prapah Hamlet, Panti Village, Panti District, Jember Regency in 1980-1990. The method used in this study is a historical research method that uses interviews and secondary sources using sources in the form of documents. The results of this study are Lengger Art is an art that comes from a journey or tirakat from a grandfather named Kek Mo. Lengger dance used to be a fertility ritual. That is, the show is held in relation to the expressions of hope and gratitude of the farmers for the results that have been achieved. Then besides being used as an expression of gratitude, this art is also used as mbarang art or busking which is used as a field to earn a living by the Lengger dancers who have social values ​​in terms of material values, vital values, and spiritual values. Abstract

Megalithic culture is a global phenomenon in the history of human culture. The remains of megalithic culture are almost scattered in various regions in Indonesia, one of which is in Lumajang Regency. Lumajang Regency, almost all of its sub- districts have artifacts or findings in the form of artifacts and texts from prehistoric times to the present. Prehistoric relics are found in Lumajang, one of which is in Kandangan Village. The purpose of this study was to inventory the archaeological remains in Kandangan Village. The method used in this research is the historical method. The results of this study are an inventory of the number, distribution, typology, and the belief system adopted, namely the belief in ancestors, with the social, cultural, and economic life of the megalithic culture supporting community at Kandangan Site which has a conception of being interrelated with one another. Abstract

Learning media that serves as a communication tool used in learning, but learning media ccan be beneficial as a means in education which helps the teaching process so that learning does not seem static, so learning can be effective. 05 Jember, SMAN 02 Tanggul and SMAN Arjasa. (1) 66% of educators have difficulties in teaching history in the application of media learning, 33% in teaching methods; (2) The learning method used by educators has used the 100% Lecture method, 66% Problem Solving, 66% Discussion; (3) 66% educators add teaching media in the form of visual Power Point and 66% Video; (4) Educators have obstacles in the application of media in 66% Difficulty in designing learning media, 33% Difficulty in developing learning media. The facilities and infrastructure in the three schools are adequate, from Wi-Fi to projectors, but they are still lacking in utilization in the learning process Based on the questionnaire analytical of learning styles, it must be said that visual teaching styles are 48.3%, audio learning styles are 20.9% and kinesthetic learning styles are 40.7%. improvement of student teaching outcomes after use Infographics teaching media based on Qr Code. The increase in learning outcomes that increased significantly between the pre-test and post-test scores increased the average learning outcomes of students by 87.47%.
