Abstract

Understanding sorrof is very important, because sorrof is one of the most important sciences in the Arabic language. shorrof discusses how to build sentences from one origin to another form that varies according to the speaker's intentions. Shorrof cannot be separated from the Arabic language, shorrof plays a role in selecting sentences or words in Arabic sentence structure, especially those related to word formation. Likewise, in creating the structure of Arabic sentences so that there are no mistakes and the wording is correct, beautiful and easy to understand, as is the case in the verses of Imam Abu Siri's qosidah burdah. This qasidah still exists today, the qasidah burdah is a literary work that has a special place in Indonesia so that the qasidah is famous and is still read today, this cannot be separated from the beauty of the sentences and the choice of words. So it becomes interesting to research the use of words, especially from the perspective of shorrof science on words that contain i'lal with disposal, making it easier for readers to know the origin of these words and how the i'lal process occurs. The research method used by researchers regarding the analysis of i'lal with the removal of several verses of the burdah kosidah is a qualitative approach with a literature review that examines and analyzes the verses of the burdah qasidah from Imam Abu Siri, data collection techniques with documentation on the words that have been experienced. i'lal bil hazfi. As for the results of the research, there are seventeen sentences that experience the process of disposal or i'lal bilhazfi, including stanzas 3, 5, 6, 18, 19,25, 135, 138,139. The cause of i'lal bil hazfi is due to the meeting of two breadfruit and because of the difficulty of pronouncing the teeut sentence if it is not di'ilal with the removal of the letters, whether the letter is the ashli letter or the zaid letter

The research method used is library research with a descriptive approach, focusing on the analysis of narrative texts. The data source for this research is a collection of stories from the Bestie Life – Ḥayātun Afḍal channel, namely "Kisah Nilai Hidupmu_ Qiṣṣatu Qīmat Ḥayātik", "Kisah yang Menenangkan Pikiranmu_ Qiṣṣatu Tahdi’u Dhihnak", and "Kisah yang Akan Membangkitkan Semangatmu_ Qiṣṣatu Satarfa‘u Ma‘nawiyyātak". The data collection technique was carried out using the note-taking method on data in the form of dialogue and situations. Data were collected through the note-taking method on dialogues and situations in the story. The research results show that the destinator (parents) actively play the role of life lesson givers, while the child as the receiver accepts the values of life. The presence of adjuvants (supporters) and traitors (obstacles) clarifies that the learning process in real life is not always easy. Thus, this channel not only serves as a medium of entertainment but also as an inspiring source of learning for parents and children in understanding and internalizing life values

Abstract

The tourism industry in Indonesia holds significant potential for attracting tourists from the Middle East. However, the limited Arabic language proficiency among tourism personnel remains a key barrier to delivering high-quality services. As Arabic is an international language widely used by Middle Eastern travelers, mastering it is essential for tour guides and other stakeholders to enhance communication and service delivery. The main problems identified include the lack of relevant Arabic teaching materials tailored to tourism, insufficiently trained instructors with tourism-specific knowledge, and learning methods that are disconnected from real-world contexts. This study employs a qualitative literature review approach to examine strategies for improving Arabic language competence within the tourism sector. Specifically, it explores the use of image-based and online media as effective tools in language acquisition. Image media aids in reinforcing vocabulary retention and conceptual understanding, while online platforms such as Aljazeera and BBC Arabic provide access to up-to-date, tourism-relevant vocabulary and authentic language use. The study suggests integrating these media types into Arabic language instruction and curriculum design to align with the practical needs of the tourism industry. Findings indicate that the use of visual and online media significantly enhances learners’ vocabulary acquisition, motivation, and communicative competence. Consequently, this approach prepares tourism personnel more effectively to engage with Arabic-speaking tourists, thereby supporting the broader goals of the tourism sector. The study contributes to the field of Arabic language education by offering pedagogical insights that bridge language learning with vocational and industry-specific applications.

Abstract

The development of digital technology, although encouraging the adoption of gamification-based platforms in education, has not yet seen much research conducted to determine their effectiveness and challenges in Arabic language learning. Quizzes are one of the more popular platforms, currently offering real-time scoring and leaderboards as part of the learning experience. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the motivation, effectiveness, and challenges in using Quizizz for Arabic language learning at MAN 1 Cirebon. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method involving five students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The research results show that the use of Quizizz can enhance student motivation through competitive elements, enrich subject understanding in a more enjoyable way, and create activity in the classroom environment. However, there are serious challenges such as limited internet access, data quotas, imperfect devices, and time constraints as obstacles in its implementation. The implication of this research is that the integration of gamification platforms must also consider the readiness in terms of technological infrastructure and the psychological factors of learners to achieve the best results in education. Recommendations in this study include enhancing flexible features and exploring more interactive platforms to adapt to the needs and characteristics of students in different learning contexts.

Abstract

Tolerance is an urgent necessity in a pluralistic society such as Indonesia. As a country rich in cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, Indonesia faces potential threats of social conflict if harmony is not maintained. The unity and integrity of the nation are strongly influenced by how well its people can uphold peaceful coexistence, especially in matters of religious difference. In this context, the interpretations of Qur’anic exegetes (mufassir) like Buya Hamka become essential, considering that the majority of Indonesians are devout Muslims who respect the teachings of the Qur'an. This study aims to explore the concept of tasamuh (tolerance) as conveyed by Buya Hamka in his Tafsir Al-Azhar, specifically in the interpretation of Surah Al-Kafirun (verses 1–6), and its relevance to multicultural and pluralistic life in Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative library research method, collecting and analyzing literature from classical texts, books, journals, and other relevant sources. Data were then processed using content analysis to explore the values of tolerance embedded in Buya Hamka’s interpretation. The results reveal that Buya Hamka strongly emphasizes the importance of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths. He argues that Surah Al-Kafirun upholds a firm yet respectful boundary between faiths—encouraging tolerance without promoting religious relativism. The findings contribute to the discourse on Islamic-based character education in Indonesia, reinforcing the message that pluralism should not be feared, but embraced with compassion and integrity.

Abstract

This article explores the unique stylistic features and divine rhetoric of the Qur'an, offering a fresh perspective on how the linguistic beauty of the sacred text functions as an essential aspect of its miraculous nature. The study aims to uncover how the Qur'an employs various rhetorical strategies and language styles not merely as literary embellishments, but as powerful tools to convey messages of monotheism, morality, law, and spirituality. Using a library research method with a descriptive-qualitative approach, the analysis focuses on selected verses that demonstrate stylistic elements such as al-qashr (exclusivity), at-taqdim wa at-ta’khir (word order inversion), isti‘arah (metaphor), tibaq (antithesis), saj‘ (rhymed prose), and rhetorical devices like qasam (oath), takrar (repetition), and istifham (rhetorical question). The findings reveal that the Qur'an's linguistic structure is not only aesthetically captivating but also deeply persuasive, intellectually engaging, and emotionally resonant. The main contribution of this study lies in affirming that the Qur’an’s linguistic beauty is an inseparable component of its divine miracle, positioning stylistic and rhetorical analysis as a meaningful and modern interpretative tool in Qur’anic studies.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of hadith in Al-Dur al-Manthur fi Tafsir bi al-Ma'thur by Imam Suyuti, a classical tafsir that applies the al-athari method by relying heavily on narrations from the Prophet Muhammad, his Companions, and the Tabi'in. The main issue addressed in this research is the absence of a detailed classification or mapping of how these hadiths are utilized within the commentary, which causes the tafsir to appear as a compilation of narrations rather than a critical analysis of the Qur'anic content. The purpose of this study is to classify the types of hadith based on their functional roles in the interpretation of verses, using Surah al-Fatihah as the primary focus. The research employs a qualitative method with data gathered through literature review. The primary data source is Al-Dur al-Manthur, while secondary sources include scholarly books and journal articles relevant to Qur'anic exegesis and hadith studies. The analytical approach is descriptive-analytical, aiming to identify patterns and categorize hadith usage. The findings reveal that hadiths in this tafsir serve seven distinct purposes: explaining alternative names of a surah, indicating the location of revelation, describing the benefits and virtues of a surah, providing explicit interpretations of verses, highlighting qira'at variations, and elaborating on legal implications. This study contributes to the field of Qur'anic interpretation by offering a structured framework for understanding how hadith is functionally employed in one of the most renowned traditional commentaries.
