Abstract

Pembelajaran kosakata Bahasa Inggris di tingkat sekolah dasar merupakan kegiatan yang menyenangkan sekaligus menantang. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai kosakata melalui pendekatan pembelajaran kreatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa program ini mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memperkuat daya ingat kosakata, dan mendorong partisipasi aktif di kelas. Guru juga dapat menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih dinamis dan interaktif meskipun terdapat keterbatasan sarana. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran kosakata dapat dijadikan strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang menyenangkan di sekolah dasar

Abstract

The creative economy sector is increasingly gaining public interest as a primary source of livelihood. This is evidenced by the proliferation of creative products marketed through digital platforms. The integration of the Creative Economy Agency into the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy demonstrates the government's ongoing commitment to making this sector a strategic priority. Museums function as information centers equivalent to libraries, storing and presenting knowledge through their collections, thus serving a dual role: tourist destinations and educational spaces. Both serve parallel functions as sources of information, documentation tools, scientific research facilities, and carry out classification, inventory, and preservation processes, despite fundamental differences behind these similarities. Promotional strategies have now evolved beyond print media, utilizing audio, visual, and audiovisual formats, particularly through social media, to the creation of various forms of arts activities. The SBY*ANI Museum and Gallery are currently optimizing social media as a promotional or branding instrument to increase the number of public visits to the museum. The development of creative and innovative models or forms of arts activities that can continue to emerge and be present sustainably is crucial. The SBYANI Museum and Gallery have strategic potential as a vehicle for history and arts education in Indonesia. However, amidst the digital transformation, this institution faces complex challenges: low appeal to the younger generation and weak branding in the public sphere. Through a community service program, this initiative is designed to revitalize the museum through a series of arts activities. These activities include contemporary art exhibitions, multidisciplinary performances, and collaborations with creative communities.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the digital marketing capabilities of blacksmith artisans in Binongko Island, a region known for its traditional craftsmanship of parang and knives. Limited market access and reliance on conventional sales methods have hindered the optimization of their economic potential. Through structured training, participants were introduced to various online media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, to promote and sell their products more effectively. The training emphasized practical skills such as basic product photography, content creation, caption writing, audience engagement, and marketplace utilization. Hands-on sessions enabled artisans to upload product photos, create promotional videos, and interact with potential buyers. The results indicate a significant improvement in digital literacy, confidence, and motivation among participants to apply online marketing strategies. This program is expected to broaden market reach, increase product sales, and strengthen the cultural branding of Binongko’s traditional blacksmithing through digital platforms.

Abstract

Observational findings indicate that most tourism MSMEs in Bedayu Village, Senduro, are not yet skilled in optimal digital marketing. Lack of knowledge about content creation, business account management, and online marketing strategies means that the vast promotional opportunities through the digital world are not fully utilized. Therefore, special mentoring is needed that focuses on mastering digital skills, such as simple website creation, social media optimization, and data-driven online marketing strategies through a community service program (PKM) in collaboration with KKN students in Bedayu Village. The purpose of this program is to increase competitiveness, expand the reach of regional tourism promotions, and improve the welfare of the Bedayu Village community. The use of digital technology is also in line with the direction of creative economic development and sustainable tourism, which emphasizes innovation, independence, and community empowerment based on the potential of Bedayu Village MSMEs.

Abstract

Nipa Village in Ambalawi District, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province possesses substantial natural resource potential in the fisheries and agricultural sectors; however, this potential has not been fully directed toward the development of value-added processed products. This community service program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of community business groups in processing, packaging, marketing, and business management based on local commodities, particularly fishery and agricultural products. The program was implemented through a series of training sessions and mentoring activities covering food product processing, packaging innovation, branding, and offline and online marketing strategies, involving community business actors, village officials, and students participating in a Community Service Program (KKN) accompanied by supervising lecturers. The results indicate an increase in entrepreneurs’ understanding of basic entrepreneurial concepts, more structured business management, and the ability to develop processed products based on local commodities with more attractive and competitive packaging. In addition, the use of digital technology in marketing has begun to be adopted by business actors, opening opportunities for market expansion and income improvement. Overall, this program contributes to strengthening the local economy of Nipa Village through optimizing the management of natural resource potential and developing community-based business units.

Abstract

This community service program was themed "Branding and Digital Promotion Training as a Strategy to Increase the Competitiveness of MSMEs in South Konawe." The training targeted sixteen (16) MSMEs, both in the same and different business types, who were expected to be able to develop their businesses after participating in the training. Digital marketing training for MSMEs in South Konawe positively contributed to increasing the knowledge, skills, and awareness of entrepreneurs in utilizing digital technology as a marketing strategy. Through a combination of material delivery and practice, participants mastered product photography techniques, digital catalog management, promotional content creation, branding strategies, social media utilization, and marketplace management, enabling them to build a more professional business identity and expand market reach. Therefore, this training is a strategic step in encouraging the digital transformation of MSMEs, increasing their competitiveness, and supporting the sustainable improvement of MSME welfare and the regional economy.

Abstract

Tingginya penggunaan plastik sekali pakai meningkatkan jumlah limbah yang sulit terurai, sehingga diperlukan inovasi pemanfaatan kembali bahan plastik bekas. Situasi ini menunjukkan bahwa pengurangan sampah tidak cukup hanya mengandalkan pembuangan, melainkan harus diarahkan pada upaya pemilahan dan pemanfaatan kembali dari sumbernya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi yang mudah diterapkan dan melibatkan masyarakat secara langsung untuk mengubah plastik bekas menjadi produk yang bermanfaat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kerajinan bunga tulip ramah lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan sendok plastik bekas sebagai bahan utama. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) melalui tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pembuatan produk, dan validasi ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sendok plastik bekas dapat dibentuk menjadi bunga tulip yang memiliki nilai estetika tinggi, struktur kuat, serta layak digunakan sebagai dekorasi. Penilaian ahli memperoleh kategori “sangat layak”, menunjukkan bahwa produk memenuhi aspek estetis dan fungsional. Inovasi ini juga memberikan alternatif solusi dalam mengurangi limbah plastik

Abstract

Aju Kopitiam, a food and beverage MSME, still faces problems in controlling raw material inventory due to manual recording and ordering based on estimates.  This situation causes excess or shortage of stock, which leads to increased operating costs and disrupts service.  The objective of this community service project is to optimize raw material inventory control by implementing the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Reorder Point (ROP) methods. These methods are implemented through analysis of the partner's situation and problems, data collection through observation and interviews, and quantitative data processing for EOQ and ROP calculations. Furthermore, these calculation results are entered into a broader resource-based inventory management system. The results of the study show that the application of the EOQ and ROP methods can help partners determine the ideal quantity and timing of reorders. This makes raw material inventory more controllable, reduces the risk of excess and shortage of stock, and improves the operational efficiency of MSMEs.

Abstract

Limited street lighting at night is one of the problems faced by the community of Cangkring Village, Karanganyar District, Demak Regency. Insufficient public street lighting results in dark road conditions, which may reduce environmental safety, increase the risk of traffic accidents, and limit community activities during nighttime. Adequate public street lighting is therefore essential to support safety, comfort, and community mobility.This community service activity aimed to improve environmental security and support nighttime community activities through the installation of public street lighting (PJU) in Cangkring Village. The implementation method was carried out in several stages, including a pre-implementation stage consisting of site surveys and coordination with village authorities to identify priority locations. The implementation stage involved installing public street lights at designated points, followed by an evaluation stage through functional testing of the installed lamps and collecting feedback from the community.The results showed that all installed public street lights functioned properly during testing. Roads that previously lacked sufficient lighting became adequately illuminated, improving nighttime visibility. Community feedback indicated an increased sense of safety and comfort when traveling and conducting activities at night. Based on these measurable results, the community service program can be considered successful in addressing the issue of limited street lighting. This activity is expected to contribute to improving basic village infrastructure and serve as a reference for similar community service programs in rural areas.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires MSMEs to adapt in order to increase their competitiveness and expand their market reach. Cahaya Pancing MSME, which is engaged in the sale of fishing equipment and supplies in Batam City, still relies on conventional marketing and has not made optimal use of digital media. This community service activity aims to help Cahaya Pancing SME build and optimize its digital presence through the implementation of a bilingual digital promotion strategy (Indonesian and English). The method used is a qualitative approach through interviews and field observations to identify the needs and problems of partners. Based on the analysis results, the design and implementation of outputs were carried out in the form of creating business emails, Instagram and Facebook social media accounts, business logos, Linktree, bilingual digital content, as well as assistance in content management and digital promotion. The results of the activity showed an increase in social media activity, customer interaction, improved Google ratings, and increased consumer trust and interest. The results showed measurable improvements, including active management of Instagram and Facebook accounts, increased engagement in terms of likes and comments, improvement in Google ratings, and higher customer interest reflected in increased inquiries.  This activity made a positive contribution to strengthening the digital identity, increasing the visibility of the business, and supporting the sustainability and competitiveness of Cahaya Pancing MSMEs in the digital era.
