Abstract

The capability to tackle math challenges plays a crucial role in applying the Independent Curriculum. This skill is essential for addressing practical issues derived from the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) to evaluate numeracy skills. This research aims to understand students' abilities when solving mathematics problems based on AKM-based contextual questions. This research uses qualitative descriptive types. This study involved 32 students in class VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat Surakarta, who were chosen using the purposive sampling technique. The data gathering was done through AKM-related problem-solving inquiries Furthermore, the data is analyzed through three stages, namely decomposition, presentation, and withdrawal of results. Data was analyzed by grouping students' solving abilities based on average results and standard deviations into high, medium and low level. Students who are in a high level can complete all stages in the problem-solving process, such as Understanding problems, Divising a plan, Carrying out the plan strategies, and Evaluating results. On the other hand, students with a moderate level can complete three of the four stages of Polya, namely understanding problems, developing strategies, and implementing plans. Meanwhile, students at the lower level only managed to meet one of the four indicators, namely the stage of understanding the problem.

Abstract

Penjaminan mutu pendidikan merupakan aspek strategis dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan daya saing satuan pendidikan, khususnya sekolah Muhammadiyah yang memiliki karakteristik keislaman dan keorganisasian yang kuat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi sistem penjaminan mutu sekolah Muhammadiyah serta merumuskan model penjaminan mutu terpadu berbasis kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, pelayanan pendidikan, dan nilai Ismubaristik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan evaluatif dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang didukung data kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah yang dievaluasi menggunakan Instrumen Penjaminan Mutu Sekolah Muhammadiyah Majelis Dikdasmen dan PNF PP Muhammadiyah yang terdiri atas 35 indikator dengan skor maksimal 140. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik skoring, kategorisasi mutu, dan interpretasi temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penjaminan mutu sekolah berada pada kategori baik dengan kecenderungan menuju kemandirian, ditopang oleh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang disiplin, pelayanan pendidikan yang memadai, serta implementasi nilai Ismubaristik dalam budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model penjaminan mutu terpadu yang mengintegrasikan dimensi manajerial dan nilai Islam Berkemajuan sebagai ciri khas sekolah Muhammadiyah. Temuan ini berimplikasi pada penguatan kebijakan dan praktik penjaminan mutu sekolah Muhammadiyah secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum in the Advanced Mandarin Reading and Writing II course at the Mandarin Language Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta, has made a positive contribution to the development of students’ writing skills. Through the application of Self-Directed Learning and Project-Based Learning methods, students are able to produce written works in the form of descriptive and argumentative essays in Mandarin that meet the competency standards of HSK Level 4. This study employs a qualitative approach by describing the results of language error analysis on descriptive and argumentative essays produced by students in the Advanced Mandarin Reading and Writing II course. The data sources of this research are descriptive and argumentative essays written by 10 students. The data in this study are the types of errors found in the students’ essays, totaling 110 essays in Mandarin. The research found two types of language errors in the students’ descriptive and argumentative essays in Mandarin: syntactic errors and lexical errors. Syntactic errors include mistakes in word usage, grammatical errors, and inaccuracies in word choice. Meanwhile, lexical errors include incorrect writing of Han characters and improper use of words with similar meanings. These errors are generally caused by students’ limited understanding of the meaning of Mandarin vocabulary and mistakes in writing or typing Han characters. Therefore, increased practice in Mandarin writing skills is needed, particularly in mastering grammatical structures, using appropriate vocabulary, and accuracy in writing Han characters, so that students’ writing abilities can develop optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reading comprehension skills of biography texts among tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek who were taught using the gamification method and those who were taught without using the method, as well as to determine the effect of the gamification method on students’ reading comprehension skills. This research employed an experimental approach using a Quasi Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population consisted of 352 tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek in the 2025/2026 academic year. The samples were selected through purposive sampling, namely class X.E1 as the experimental class and class X.E3 as the control class, each consisting of 35 students. Data were collected using an objective multiple-choice test and analyzed using percentage formulas, mean scores, prerequisite tests, a t-test, and N-gain calculations. The results show that students taught using the gamification method achieved higher reading comprehension skills than those taught through conventional learning. The independent sample t-test result indicates that tcount (2.87) > ttable (2.00) at a significance level of 0.05

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ explanatory text writing skills taught using local phenomena through the Think Talk Write (TTW) model, students’ writing skills without using local phenomena, and the differences between the two groups. This research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population consisted of ninth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang in the 2025/2026 academic year. The sample included an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through a performance test of writing explanatory texts. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. The results showed that students taught using local phenomena through the Think Talk Write model had higher explanatory writing skills than those taught using conventional learning. The t-test results indicated a significant effect (tcount 2.14 > ttable 2.04). Therefore, the use of local phenomena through the Think Talk Write model effectively improves students’ explanatory text writing skills.

Abstract

The mental health condition of adolescents is important in psychosocial development. In the era of globalization, it has had a significant impact, previously the rapid and flexible acquisition of information through social media provided many challenges and responsibilities for young people so that their energy was focused on doing everything quickly. As a result, many Indonesian youth experience health problems, namely sleep disorders, anxiety, bipolar disorder and depression. So in this research we tried to design a "Self-Reminder" application which functions to make it easier for young Muslims to maintain their mental health by learning spiritual values to maintain their spirituality at work. The aim of this research is to provide an application design that integrates the spiritual values of youth mental health. The substance taken is a way to purify their souls from worldly influences, namely tazkiatun nafs. So, by managing their emotions and souls they can function well at work. The method used in this preparation is a literature study prototype which is a solution to the intended problem by analyzing previous literary sources. The design of this application was developed using smartphone media which can be used at any time as a reminder. The advantages of the application, apart from being flexible, are that the material and discussions about mental health are clear and interesting. Even though it is in the form of readings and video lectures, the points of the discussion are easy to understand and absorb. Apart from that, there are many motivational words that can remind young people to always be steadfast in maintaining the purity of their souls and spirituality in facing the current era of globalization. Therefore, this research tries to design and developing smartphones as a medium not only as a communication tool but also as a tool to commemorate youth mental health with spiritual values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Fear of Missing Out dan Konformitas terhadap Impulsive Buying pada Mahasiswa Pengguna Aktif Media Sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 191 mahasiswa, dan diambil dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu skala Fear of Missing Out (α = 0,723), skala Konformitas (α = 0,761) dan skala Impulsive Buying (α = 0,815). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Regresi Berganda dan menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,01). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Fear of Missing Out atau FoMO dan konformitas terhadap impulsive buying pada mahasiswa pengguna aktif media sosial. Hasil uji T (parsial) menunjukkan bahwa FoMO tidak berpengaruh terhadap Impulsive Buying yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,437 > 0,05. Demikian juga hasil analisis Konformitas yang menunjukkan bahwa Konformitas mempengaruhi Impulsive buying yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,002 < 0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of digital learning media based on multimedia and interactive videos in Islamic Religious Education to enhance learning effectiveness, motivation, participation, and student comprehension. The research employs a library research method, with data collected through documentation of scientific literature, journals, books, and articles related to digital media, multimedia, and interactive videos. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis to identify, categorize, and interpret key concepts relevant to the study. Findings show that multimedia enables interactive, contextual, and engaging material presentation, while interactive videos add a participatory dimension through navigation, quizzes, and simulations. Optimization strategies emphasize integrating technology with interactive teaching methods, strengthening teacher competencies, developing adaptive curricula, and providing supporting facilities. The study concludes that digital media based on multimedia and interactive videos is effective in enhancing students”™ understanding of religious concepts, internalizing Islamic values, and developing 21st-century competencies, although further empirical research is recommended.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of social isolation among students at a public high school in Makassar. This study employs a quantitative, descriptive approach. The study population consisted of 82 students in grades 10 and 11 at a public high school in Makassar, with a sample of 20 students selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using an adapted social isolation questionnaire consisting of 31 items on a Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics in the form of percentages and categorical distributions. The results indicate that the majority of students fall into the moderate social isolation category (76%) and the high category (24%), with no students in the very high or low categories. These findings indicate that students”™ social interactions in the context of this study have not developed optimally, as evidenced by a tendency to withdraw and a lack of participation in group activities. The implications of this study highlight the importance of the role of guidance and counseling services in developing intervention programs focused on improving students”™ social skills, self-confidence, and the quality of their interpersonal relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to develop, test the feasibility, and examine the effectiveness of Google Sites-based Interactive Multimedia in IPAS learning on the topic of Biodiversity of Flora and Fauna in Indonesia to improve the interest and learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a quantitative approach and the Borg & Gall development procedure simplified into eight stages. Data collection and analysis were conducted through test and non-test techniques including pretest and posttest, questionnaires, observations, interviews, as well as analysis using t-test and N-Gain test. The results show that the design of Google Sites-based Interactive Multimedia was developed through systematic stages starting from needs analysis, design, to the final product which contains complete learning components such as the main page, learning objectives, songs, learning videos, materials, worksheets (LKPD), question grids, evaluation questions, and references, arranged in a structured, engaging, and easy-to-use format in learning. Media expert validation obtained a percentage of 98% with a very feasible category. Material expert validation also obtained 98% with a very feasible category. The t-test results show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 indicating differences between pretest and posttest. The N-Gain results show that class IV A obtained a score of 0.69 in the medium category, while class IV B obtained 0.98 in the high category. The conclusion shows that Google Sites-based Interactive Multimedia is feasible and effective for use in IPAS learning to improve the interest and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Kembangarum 01 Semarang.
