Abstract

This study aims to find out the form of learning assistance for speech delay students at RA Hidayatus Shibyan and find out the obstacles experienced by teachers when teaching speech delay students. Language development is very important for every child because language aims to facilitate communication and express the feelings of early childhood. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with the research subject being a student who experienced speech delay, 1 class teacher, and 1 accompanying teacher. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are 1) learning assistance for children who experience speech delay is carried out using a floor time approach and through learning methods, 2) while the obstacles experienced by teachers are that students often make mistakes or forget the pronunciation they have learned before, and lack of support and stimulation provided by parents at home

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that cause early childhood difficulties in counting at Siaga Muda Kindergarten. Challenges in measuring at an early age can have a long-term impact on children’s future mathematical development, to prevent this, this research was conducted. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, which is a qualitative approach with observation methods and interviews with young children and teachers of TK Siaga Muda. The results of this study found several main factors that contribute to numeracy difficulties in early childhood at Siaga Muda Kindergarten. The first is the lack of understanding of basic math concepts such as addition, subtraction, and number concepts in children. The second factor is ineffective teaching methods, and the third factor is the lack of time spent practicing. This study recommends several steps to overcome early childhood numeracy difficulties at Siaga Muda Kindergarten, such as using interactive and engaging teaching approaches, using diverse and creative methods, and the need for close cooperation between teachers, parents, and educational institutions. By identifying the factors that cause numeracy difficulties at Siaga Muda Kindergarten, this research is expected to provide valuable input.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning models on the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at Panrannuangku Kindergarten 1. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experiment design. The population amounted to 36 students at Panrannuangku 1 Kindergarten. In this study, the sample was taken randomly from 12 children, each 6 children in the experimental group and 6 children in the control group. Descriptive and non-parametric statistical analysis was used to collect data. In this study, the results obtained Thitung 71 > Ttabel 2.2281 = H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of project-based learning models on children's creativity. The value of Zhitung 1.52 > Ztabel 0.4394 = H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of project-based learning models on children's creativity. So it can be concluded that creativity in the experimental class is better than the control class, this proves that the project-based learning model using origami influences children's creativity.

Abstract

The research aims to ascertain the impact of the problem-based learning model on the early reading skills of children in Ar-Rahim Kindergarten aged 5-6 years. The approach used in this research is quantitative with the Quasi-Experimental Design type. With a population of 38 students using simple random sampling. With a sample of 6 students in the experimental and control groups. This proves that students who received treatment using the problem-based learning model improved their initial reading skills better than students who received treatment in the control group. This research uses descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric statistical analysis. In the research, the results of Tcount were 83 and Ttable 2.228, so we got Tcount 83 > Ttable 2.228 and Zcount 2.15 > Ztabel 0.4842 = H0 was rejected, and H1 was accepted, indicating that there is an influence of the problem-based learning model on children's early reading skills, in terms of This shows that the problem-based learning model has an impact on children's reading abilities and is better than children who received treatment in the control group.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of painting activities using natural materials on children's creativity at Asdani Kindergarten. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. with a population of 35 children using simple random sampling with a sample of 8 children each in the experimental and control groups. Descriptive and non-parametric statistical analysis was used to collect data. The results of the data analysis obtained an average increase in the experimental group of 6.25 and in the control group of 1.37. The test results showed a sig. (2-tailed) 0.011 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that painting using natural materials has a significant effect on children's creativity at Asdani Kindergarten.

Abstract

The provision of the habit of reading Asmaul Husna aims to instil religious values in children from an early age. The type of research used is field research with descriptive qualitative methods. To obtain credible research, the researchers used triangulation techniques and used interviews, observations and documentation in data collection. The results of this study are educators teach children to read Asmaul Husna by using a screen or projector in front of them, and then the educator points to the letters one by one. Besides that, the educator also teaches children to write Asmaul Husna, and then the results are displayed in a temple in front of the class as a form of reward for the children.

Abstract

Early childhood citizenship education in Indonesia with Arab countries in the background of state and citizen challenges globalization affects the growth, physical and spiritual development of children such as norms, behaviours and life values have an impact on the progress of the country. Research is used to improve the life of the Indonesian state while Arab countries master 21st-century skills. The research method uses literature studies with the aim of exploring early childhood citizenship education in the two countries. The results of the study stated that the country's vision and mission have a golden Indonesia target in 2045, while the Arab country has a target of superior education services in 2030. Education uses the independent learning curriculum and the student profile of Pancasila, the country of Indonesia.In contrast, the Arab country uses superior services equitable and inclusive quality education to increase lifelong learning opportunities. The focus of achieving early childhood development in Indonesia includes religion and morals, Pancasila, physical motor, cognitive, language, and social-emotional, while the Arab country achieves standards: knowledge, behaviour, skills, making citizens suitable, productive, and effective—Indonesian citizenship education, consisting of Pancasila values and Pancasila student profiles. While Arab citizenship education contains citizenship, national identity and culture, exploration of the interaction between the state and society makes a good citizen. In conclusion, the education of early childhood citizenship of the Indonesian state with Arabs can make citizens of character and citizenship.

Abstract

The critical thinking ability of early childhood is the basis of skills that can be developed through various learning so that scientific questioning skills are formed in understanding each learning context. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this research are through observation, interviews, and documentation data collection. The subjects of this research were 20 children in group B. The results of this research showed that the questioning skills of children in group B of the National Plus Joy Kids Kindergarten were very active, demonstrated by the class's activeness during learning using the audio-visual method, namely showing an interactive learning video so that it could generate Children's curiosity is well stimulated.

Abstract

This research aims to create a pop-up picture book based on multicultural education for early childhood. Through this picture book, children can understand multicultural education and get used to the diversity around them. In addition, this picture book teaches children how to behave around friends who have different customs and cultures from themselves. This development study refers to the 4-D development design steps. It includes (a) definition, (b) design, (c) development, and (d) dissemination. Before conducting product trials, validation tests were carried out on three experts. Data were collected by conducting observations which were carried out twice, namely before giving the book and after giving the book. Data analysis was carried out through the gain score of pre-test and post-test scores. The product trial was carried out in two stages, namely a limited test with 12 children and the main test with 31 children of PGRI Silo 01 Kindergarten. The results of the product feasibility assessment of product verification were 3.8 (very feasible) for media experts and 4 (very feasible) for material experts. The effectiveness of illustrated pop-up books in instilling an understanding of multicultural education in early childhood is determined based on the results of the pre-test score of 5.13 and the post-test score of 5.95. From this comparison, it can be concluded that the use of pop-up picture books based on multicultural education is effective in increasing children's understanding of multicultural education.

Abstract

As the government calls for implementing the PMT-AS program, as a form of concern by paying attention to aspects of quality, and food safety. So, through parenting education, which is an informal program of PAUD institutions, it is expected to help parents have quality knowledge to be implemented in everyday life. Thus, researchers are interested in conducting research at Pangudi Luhur Jenarwetan Kindergarten, related to how the management of PMT-AS (Supplementary Feeding of School Children), especially for the 5-6 year age group, to find out what PMT-AS applications have been implemented by the institution as a form of parenting education. Researchers used qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach, while the research subjects were Pangudi Luhur Jenarwetan Kindergarten students in group B with a total of 12 students, 1 class teacher and principal, and parents. The results of this study, that the PMT-AS activity program at Pangudi Luhur Jenarwetan Kindergarten is carried out once a week, which is held on Saturday after gymnastics activities. PMT-AS menu design is made before entering the new school year, with each activity two menus (snacks and side dishes). Not only as a parenting education activity, but also as a gathering place for parents with educators and students.
