Female students face additional stress and difficulties in adjusting to higher education which negatively impacts academic performance. Due to the dual roles, academic requirements and housekeeping activities, that are played by female students, social support is needed in forming self-efficacy in female students to achieve learning goals. This study aimed to examine the relationship between family support, friend supports, and support from significant others among female students at Islamic universities. In this research, a quantitative method was used with 286 Islamic female students as the subjects, selected using non-probability sampling technique. In this study, the researchers used conformational factor analysis (CFA) using Lisrel 8.8 to test the validity of the measuring instrument. To analyze descriptive statistics, SPSS 23 software was used. The result of this research was that there was a significant and positive influence between social support on self-efficacy of female students of 0.109 or 10.9 %, while the remaining 80.1 % was influenced by other variables outside the research. Based on the analysis of the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable in this research, there were two dimensions whose regression coefficient values were significant, namely the dimension of family support and significant other and dimension of social support that was not significant, namely the dimension of friend supports.

The study of academic motivation is essential in understanding how various factors contribute to students' educational achievements and overall well-being. This research explored the relationship between academic motivation and the mediation effects of social support on achievement orientation. Specifically, it examined how these factors interrelates and supports each other in the context of high school students. The sample for this study consisted of 225 high school students selected through convenient and cross-sectional sampling techniques. The instruments utilized included the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS) for assessing academic motivation, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) for evaluating social support, and the Achievement Goal Orientation Scale for measuring achievement orientation. To analyze the data, several statistical techniques were employed. Descriptive statistics were used to summarize the data, and Pearson correlation was applied to determine the relationships between social support and the dimensions of academic motivation. To measure the reliability of the scales, Cronbach's alpha was calculated. Additionally, regression analysis was conducted to examine the effects of social support on academic motivation and achievement goals. The findings revealed that there was no significant direct effect of social support on students' mastery and performance goal orientations. However, in terms of indirect effects, family support was found to influence academic motivation, which in turn affects achievement orientation.

Currently, there are not many robust ḥusn al-ẓann instruments available for use with Muslim communities in Indonesia. Although instruments like the 24-item Ḥusn al-ẓann Scale (HZS-24) and the Islamic Positive Thinking Scale (IPTS) exist for measuring ḥusn al-ẓann, they still have psychometric limitations. This study aimed to develop a scale with improved validity, utilizing multiple validation methods, namely the 7-item Ḥusn al-ẓann Scale (HZS-7). A sample of 522 Muslim young adults who were Indonesian citizens participated in the study. The study found that the HZS-7 is a multidimensional instrument, covering two dimensions: ḥusn al-ẓann toward Allah SWT (HZS-A) and others (HZS-O), the factors showed a model fit. The HZS-7 was found to predict on the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) and the Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire (USAQ), these results supported nomological validity. Additionally, HZS-7 correlated positively with Positive Thinking (PT) and negatively with Negative Thinking (NT). Almost all the items of HZS-7 showed a weak correlation with social desirability. Overall, The HZS-7 has an acceptable reliability (ω = .713). Future studies could enhance the nomological model, examine convergent validity with more complex outcomes, and further investigate the instrument’s quality

Psychological well-being and academic resilience are crucial factors for students' success in higher education, contributing to both academic achievement and mental health. Therefore, it is essential to implement strategies aimed at enhancing students' psychological well-being and academic resilience. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral intervention and mindfulness relaxation integrated with Islamic values in improving students' psychological well-being and academic resilience. The research employed a mixed-methods approach. The quantitative component utilized an experimental design, specifically a non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were divided into four groups, with a total of 70 participants. The instruments used for measurement including the Psychological Well-being Scale (α = 0.897) and the Academic Resilience Scale (α = 0.884). Data analysis was conducted using multivariate analysis of variance. In addition to the quantitative analysis, the qualitative method explored participants' feelings before and after the intervention. The study found no significant effect of the cognitive-behavioral intervention and mindfulness relaxation integrated with Islamic values on increasing psychological well-being and academic resilience across all experimental groups. However, qualitative data revealed that the intervention had a positive impact on students' psychological well-being and academic resilience. Overall, while the quantitative results did not show significant improvements, the qualitative feedback suggests that the intervention may still hold value in supporting students' mental health and resilience.

One of the tools that the government requires in order to guarantee high-quality graduates is the competency test. Mentorship is one way to help students be ready for the competency test and achieve the best possible outcomes. This study aimed to determine the effects of Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) on nursing students' anxiety and competency exam performance. This study is quantitative, employs a pre- and post-test methodology, and uses a quasi-experimental approach with a control group. The Mann Whitney test is the statistical test used in this investigation. Nursing students from two distinct universities, the Institute of Health and Technology of Muhammadiyah Palembang and Musi Charitas Catholic University Palembang—made up the population of this study, which had a sample size of 153. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) intervention had a significant (0.001) impact on reducing student’s anxiety scores and level of preparedness for the competency test. SEFT significantly impacts students' anxiety and degree of readiness for the competency exam. It is anticipated that the SEFT treatment will function as a stand-in method for addressing the anxiety problem that college students encounter

Previous research has explored various strategies for promoting academic integrity (AI); however, there is a gap in understanding how religious behavior, particularly the concept of khauf (fear of God), can be investigated as a factor influencing and moderator toward academic integrity. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze whether khauf moderates the influence of attitude toward cheating (ATC) on academic integrity. Using the PLS-SEM analysis method, the questionnaire was distributed through cluster random sampling to 224 students of Islamic colleges in Jakarta, Tangerang, and Bekasi. The results showed that the fear of God (khauf) can moderate the influence of attitude toward cheating (ATC) on academic integrity, with a significance p-value of 0,002. Integrating religious values such as khauf may be a valuable approach to strengthening academic integrity in educational institutions. The practical implications of this research were the need to consider strategies that emphasize religious moral values as an essential element in building an integrated academic culture, one of which is the fear of God (khauf

People suffering from chronic diseases such as breast cancer and heart disease usually feel they have low life expectancy. Gratitude skills considered to be one of factors that could increase the hope for life and promoting the recovery of patients with chronic diseases. To prove this assumption, research was conducted to prove whether gratitude training could increase hope for life in adult patients with breast cancer and heart diseases. This research used a quasi-experimental method randomized two groups (control and experiment) pretest-posttest design, following the gratitude research procedures conducted by Bahar & Moordiningsih on heart disease in 2020. This research involved 32 (21 females, 11 males) with the age range from 30 to 61 years old (Mean = 49.50, SD = 8,474). Participants in this study were divided into two groups consisting of 14 participants in the experimental group (7 with breast cancer, 7 with heart disease) and 18 participants in the control group (9 with breast cancer, 9 with heart disease). The research results showed gratitude training is effective in improving hope for life. The findings also revealed that participants with heart disease experienced a higher effect of gratitude training than participants with breast cancer.

The study of resilience is a study of how individuals who live with high risk adapt and thrive. Resilience is closely related to risk, because the higher the risk faced by individuals, the higher the needs for resilience. Efforts to develop resilience need to be carried out since elementary school, with the role of class teachers who integrate Guidance and Counseling (BK) services into the learning process. The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of a cognitive-behavioral play guidance model based on “andai-andai” integrated with Islamic values to develop the resilience of elementary school students. The method used is collaborative action research, involving collaboration between researchers and teachers in the learning process of grade V in PPKN subjects which are adjusted to the Operational Guidelines for BK Implementation (POP BK). The learning process uses the “andai-andai” strategy, which is one of the local wisdoms from South Sumatra in the form of stories told orally. The research was conducted in two cycles: the first cycle was training for classroom teachers, and the second cycle was the implementation of play guidance to students. The stages of play guidance include Introductory, Assessment, Middle Stage, and Summary and Evaluation. The results showed that the integration of Islamic values in the play guidance model provided a strong moral and spiritual foundation for students, as well as preserving local wisdom. This model is proven to be effective in increasing students' resilience through the use of interesting game strategies that are relevant to the characteristics of children

This study examines the positive relationship between religiosity, work commitment, and work performance among teachers and academic staff at the Islamic Education Foundation. The results indicate that religiosity and commitment to work reinforce each other, leading to better work outcomes. With religiosity and career commitment contributing significantly to work performance (R² = 0.498), teachers with high levels of these attributes are more likely to improve their performance. Educational institutions are advised to integrate religious values into professional development programs through workshops, training, and seminars to enhance teacher performance. Using a quantitative research approach, this study collected data via questionnaires from 94 active teachers and academic staff, comprising 24 men and 70 women, residing in Muara Enim. Data analysis involved multiple linear regression and snowball sampling techniques. The study highlights the importance of religiosity in work performance, suggesting that fostering religious awareness and career commitment can significantly enhance staff performance. These findings underscore the need for professional development programs that emphasize religious values in the workplace, benefiting both individuals and organizations
